Fashion is a cultural element expressing general and common aesthetic awareness in a relevant region in the relevant times. On the aspect that shoes are also a part of fashion reflecting the unique aesthetic awareness of Korea, this paper aims to analyze the aesthetic awareness contained in the aesthetic features observed in the traditional boots. The aesthetic features in terms of the form were the balanced usage of each element including curves, straight lines, simple shapes, contrast colors and materials, and the application and ideological significance as the symbol of social position and status in terms of the contents. Aesthetic awareness pursues the beauty of moderation through the compromise between curves and straight lines, as both elements accept each other's features and keep balance without inclination to one element. Next, solid and void are naturally expressed by appropriately adjusting the expression on colors, materials and shapes through the harmony of composure and techniques. While traditional boots were used as the sign indicating social position and status as the unity of spirit and a thing, they pursue the value of rhythmic vitality by giving spiritual meaning to a thing.

This study concentrates on a new idea that is formulated as a creative spatialization in contemporary architecture. Suggested from the classical baroque, this study tries to open the actual sense area of 'the baroque' by analysing the architectural ideas of wrenching and folding by Frank O. Gehry. The redefined 'new baroque' operates in the chain of the transformable and flexible images that must be recognized as 'the real' in the sense of 'the most empirical' and are vulnerable to dispersal. The typical instrument of Gehry's 'new baroque architecture' is the enclosing of the space and its folding. This idea meet the theoretical gravitation field of the philosophy of Deleuze, in which the reconstituted baroque conception means the tension between the folds, on expansion and contraction of which the variable space is dependent. Through the general principle of 'the new baroque', a free dispersal of power, to architect is offered the possibility, to make the real world intimate to the real life and to produce from there a vivid new space, and to enjoyer and viewer the possibility, to perceive the operating power in and around oneself.

During studies of the fish fauna and communities of Mankyeong River, which flows to the Yellow Sea, 14 families in 44 genera and 63 species of freshwater fishes were caught. Zacco platypus (27.7%) was the dominant species and Z. koreanus (11.3%) the subdominant species in this river. Twenty-three species of Korean endemic fishes appeared, and two of these, Pseudopungtungia nigra and Liobagrus obesus, represented endangered Korea species. Community structure of each branch stream was stable, showing appropriate dominant species: Z. koreanus in Jeonju Stream, Z. platypus in Kosan and Soyang Streams, and Carassius auratus in Mankyeong main stream. Three introduced species appeared: C. cuvieri, Micropterus salmoides, and Lepomis macrochirus. Among these introduced species, M. salmoides expanded its territory from midstream to downstream because of its strong carnivorous tendency and it favoring of lentic waters. This distribution of M. salmoides affected the number and distribution of small native freshwater fishes, especially those in the subfamily Acheilognathinae.

The US Food and Drug Administration(FDA) recommends that population bioequivalence and individual bioequivalence would be assessed to address the prescribability and switchability between a brand-name drug and its new formulation or generic copy in its 2001 guidance document. The test for population bioequivalence in the latest FDA guidance is recommended in 2 x 4 crossover design, but it turns out to be very conservative. Recently Lee, Shao & Chow(2002), Chow, Shao & Wang(2003) and McNally, Iyer & Mathew(2002) proposed new statistical methods for assessing population bioequivalence between drugs to correct the biasness of current FDA method. Since 2 x 2 crossover experiment is most welcomed design in bioequivalence testing, we adopt their methods to 2 x 2 crossover designs and compare their methodologies with FDA one through the simulation study.

The purposes of this study are to comprehend the internal meaning and the external form in style of Greek statue's clothing in the light of linked solution, and to compare the characterizations of style of Greek statue's clothing with those in Greek Art. For these purpose, the theoretical studies about Greek art are preceded as a framework of this research, and then plastic characteristics of Greek statue's clothing and Greek art are analyzed by the documentary studies, For sources, photographs of Greek statue in Archaeological Museum and Louvre museum are used. The result is as follows. It is demonstrated that the characters of internal meaning in style of Greek art and Greek statue's clothing. The internal meaning of style of Greek art and Greek statue's clothing are as follows 1) Beauty of vital is subject that possessed life and movement and embodied dynamics or inherent power. 2) Beauty of moderation is subject that achieves some of its most impressive and practise a similar economy and restraint. 3) Beauty of character is subject that reveals the character of its wearer and has its own charm and distinction The Greeks clarified beauty by looking for mathematical proportions. It is the interrelation of part with one another, and with the whole, together with the additional element of good colour, which constitutes beauty as perceived by the eyes. The beauty in style of Greek statue's clothing consists of a sense of geometrical pattern, oder, symmetry, proportion, and rhythm.

Based on the specific plant species for environmental assesment by the Ministry of Environment(MoE), a total of 68 taxa were identified; 29 taxa for the floristic degree(FD) I, 12 taxa for the FD II, 11 taxa for the FD III, 9 taxa for the FD IV and 6 taxa for the FD V. The endangered plant species, in Woraksan National Park, such as Lilium cernum and Berchemia berchemiaefolia are categorized as the Conservation Degree (CD) II which is designated by the MoE. The rare and endangered species such as Crypsinus hastatus, Lilium cernum, Berchemia berchemiaefolia, Lilium callossum, Gastrodia elata, Aristolochia contorta, Koelreuteria paniculata, Rhododendron tschonoskii, Scopolia japonica, Cypripedium macranthum, Paeonia japonica and Thymus quinquecostatus including 12 plant taxa are categorized as Rare and Endangered Plant Species by the Korea Forest Service.

The fish community was investigated from March to October 2007 in Gwangneung Arboretum. During the survey period, 22 species belonging to 9 families were collected. Among them, one species (Coitus koreanus) was classified as an endangered species in Korea, and exotic fish was Micropterus salmoides. Nine species (40.9%) were endemic species of Korea. Dominant species was R. oxycephalus (St. 1) and Z. platypus (St. 2-7). According to analysis of community based on the diversity, evenness and richness indices, fish community seems to be more stable in the St. 3. The distributions of Silurus microdorsalis, Cottus koreanus and Odontobutis platycephala were confined to the Bongseonsa Stream in the Wangsuk Stream watershed. When our data were compared with the previous data (1932), 17 species were not sampled, but 7 species could new taxa fiend its existence at the Bongseonsa Stream. We believe that Hemibarbus mylodon, Acheilognathus signifer and Zacco koreanus disappeared in the Wangsuk Stream watershed and A. signifer and Z. koreanus need to be restored at the Bongseonsa Stream.

The purpose of this study is to examine changes in local government objectives due to the change of local government heads in Hwasun-gun of Jeonnam province, and to analyze performances of regional development policies, regional development vision, and local government objectives setting by the 6th local election. The local government objective and slogan of hwasun-gun continued to change due to frequent replacement of local government heads from 1st to 6th local election. The slogan of the 6th local election was set as 'Luxury Hwasun, Happy Citizens' and addition, six local government objectives were set: trusted administration, shared welfare, attractive culture, vibrant rural areas, dream-planting education, and vibrant economies. The performance of local government objectives of the 6th local election showed a 90% achievement rate compared to the planned goal.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between the characteristics of beauty information in the SNS environment and consumer attitudes and loyalty of high school students. The subjects of this study were high school students residing in Gwangju, and a total of 375 copies were used for the final analysis. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS V.21.0 program. Summarizing the study results, interactivity and usefulness were key factors in the relationship between beauty information characteristics and high school students' attitude and loyalty in the SNS environment, and information provision, playfulness, and vitality were derived as major factors. Based on the above result rule, it is expected that it will be used as a data for presenting the direction for collecting the correct information in the SNS use of teenage consumers and establishing marketing strategies for beauty companies.

Objectives : This study aimed to suggest distinct signs of Greater yin disease (tàiyīnbìng, 太陰病) by researching the etymology of three terms: zi-tong (自痛), jie-ying (結硬), and yin-er (因爾), which are exclusive found only in Greater yin disease (太陰病) in Gangpyeong-shanghanlun, but not in other categories. Methods : We studied the etymologies of the three terms that are unique in Greater yin disease, then found some pathological signs that are related with them through the four mental illness cases, which include somatization, obsessive-compulsive behavior, delusion, and panic disorder. Results : Based on the definitions of each term, we diagnosed the four patients who had mental illnesses as having Greater yin disease, and we observed meaningful improvements after administering herbal medication. After Gyejigajakyak-tang administration, the Insomnia Severity Index (ISI) score decreased from 18 to 7 and the Beck's Anxiety Index (BAI) score decreased from 36 to 18 in the first case, the ISI score decreased from 27 to 16 and the BAI score decreased from 50 to 33 in the second case, and the ISI score decreased from 23 to 4 and the BAI score decreased from 34 to 5 in the third case. In the last case, the ISI and BAI scores were 16 and 22, respectively, at the first visit, and it was found that the scores had changed to 6 and 22, respectively, at the last visit. Conclusions : We found that the unique terms in Greater yin disease, including zi-tong (自痛), jie-ying (結硬), and yin-er (因爾), can be interpreted as groundless arbitrary assumption, resting strong tension, and psychological projection based on the etymological hypothesis. Therefore, we suggest these as specific signs of Greater yin disease.
