The study of film analysis through Freudian interpretation -based on Christopher Nolan's film (프로이트적 해석을 적용한 영화콘텐츠 분석연구 - 크리스토퍼 놀란 감독의 영화 <인셉션>을 중심으로)

  • In the film Inception, we can see that the human dream world is depicted using Freud's psychoanalytical subconscious theory. Through the expression of the subconscious, And the ability to think and think deeply of human nature, such as presenting a new perspective to insight and expression. Based on Freud 's subconscious theory, this paper explores the expression of the dream world and the subconscious in the film and examines the meaning expression of the film through it. The main character is well described as living a chaotic life in obsession with obsessions and obsessions due to his subconscious uncontrollable through his dreams and dreams of being satisfied by the way the oppressed thoughts and desires are disguised I feel that I feel my foolishness and mood as a masturbation by dreaming and dreaming to turn back the moments of regret. In addition, conflicts and confrontations between consciousness and subconscious are expressed well in the form of confusion in reality and dreams.   • A feng-shui map is a kind of map that features such propitious positions as fortune-bringing spots or ideal grave sites. The map is a representation of the most ideal natural terrains in terms of feng-shui perspectives. This study did research on two feng-shui maps registered on some genealogical tables in order to see how the map was drawn up. In addition, the detailed characteristics of landform expressions like the frame of the map, viewpoints, center-oriented mapping, water flow, mountain theories were delved into. The results of the research are as follows: the feng-shui maps for this research used the techniques of double scale and aerial view, described terrains with grave sites in their centers, and enlarged important terrains compared with surroundings for exaggeration purposes. In addition, other vital landforms not observed from grave sites were depicted with viewpoints moved and were represented in fine details. The part of mountain theories had the following points as their main subject matter: geographical locations, overall orientations of mountain ranges, topographical traits, grave seat directions and surrounding terrains.

Continuous Speech Recognition based on Parmetric Trajectory Segmental HMM (모수적 궤적 기반의 분절 HMM을 이용한 연속 음성 인식)

  • In this paper, we propose a new trajectory model for characterizing segmental features and their interaction based upon a general framework of hidden Markov models. Each segment, a sequence of vectors, is represented by a trajectory of observed sequences. This trajectory is obtained by applying a new design matrix which includes transitional information on contiguous frames, and is characterized as a polynomial regression function. To apply the trajectory to the segmental HMM, the frame features are replaced with the trajectory of a given segment. We also propose the likelihood of a given segment and the estimation of trajectory parameters. The obervation probability of a given segment is represented as the relation between the segment likelihood and the estimation error of the trajectories. The estimation error of a trajectory is considered as the weight of the likelihood of a given segment in a state. This weight represents the probability of how well the corresponding trajectory characterize the segment. The proposed model can be regarded as a generalization of a conventional HMM and a parametric trajectory model. The experimental results are reported on the TIMIT corpus and performance is show to improve significantly over that of the conventional HMM.

  • In order to constructan ubiquitous computing environment, it is necessary to develop a technology that can recognize users and circumstances. In this regard, the question of recognizing and expressing user Context regardless of computer and language types has emerged as an important task under the heterogeneous distributed processing system. As a means to solve this task of representing user Context in the ubiquitous environment, this paper proposes to describe user Context as the most similar form of human thinking by using semantic web and fuzzy concept independentof language and computer types. Because the conventional method of representing Context using an usual collection has some limitations in expressing the environment of the real world, this paper has chosen to use Fuzzy OWL language, a fusion of fuzzy concept and standard web ontology language OWL. Accordingly, this paper suggests the following method. First we represent user contacted environmental information with a numerical value and states, and describe it with OWL. After that we transform the converted OWL Context into Fuzzy OWL. As a last step, we prove whether the automatic circumstances are possible in this procedure when we use fuzzy inference engine FiRE. With use the suggested method in this paper, we can describe Context which can be used in the ubiquitous computing environment. This method is more effective in expressing degree and status of the Context due to using fuzzy concept. Moreover, on the basis of the stated Context we can also infer the user contacted status of the environment. It is also possible to enable this system to function automatically in compliance with the inferred state.

  • This Audio-Visual Interactive Installation is composed of a video projection of a video Projection and digital Interface technology combining with the viewer's voice recognition. The Viewer can interact with the computer generated moving images growing on the screen by blowing his/her breathing or making sound. This symbiotic audio and visual installation environment allows the viewers to experience an illusionistic spacephysically as well as psychologically. The main programming technologies used to generate moving water waves which can interact with the viewer in this installation are visual C++ and DirectX SDK For making water waves, full-3D rendering technology and particle system were used.

  • 'Hoon's family story' is worth analysing because it is appreciated one of excellent advertising campaigns made success of gaining social sympathy and inducing interaction on media. And advertisements expressions have been regarded as the tort that we should analyze by semiotic methods. This paper provides possibilities of the advertisement analysis matrix for analysing significations of this campaign based on theories of Roland Barthes and Roman Jakobson for advertising planners and designers.

  • The most important role of actors is to transmit the thoughts and feelings to the audience or viewers. The expression methods of acting of each genre are clearly different. In order for the actors to act, crossing over the boundary of each genre such as movies, TV, dramas, musicals, they should understand the characteristics of each of the subdivided genres. If they understand the characteristics of the acting method different from one another and acquire the expression method to adapt to the spatial circumstances of each of the media, it becomes freer to act, crossing over the boundary of each of the genres. For the sake of this, actors must understand and acquire the characteristics of each of the genres. First of all, it is important to understand the difference between acting in the media and acting on the stage and to understand the characteristics of each of the genres.

  • People have regarded animation as the subculture for childishness or children compared with other art fields. Although many such aspects changed, of course recently, animation has focused on the commercial side rather than the cultural or artistic side as usual. However, the animation of art using various experimental expression is also continuously manufactured among short animations. Therefore, the purposes of this study were to look at Quay brother's animation with an experimental and an authorial disposition rather than commercial side. And then it is going to analyze the grotesque of . Moreover, it is going to consider the meanings who are going to express with this animation through grotesque expression.
