Congenital cystic adenomatoid malformation (CCAM), which is classified into five types according to size and bronchial invasion, is a rare type of developmental anomaly of the lung. CCAM is occasionally accompanied by malignancy, such as bronchioloalveolar carcinoma (BAC) or rhabdomyosarcoma. As defined by the WHO, atypical adenomatous hyperplasia (AAH) is a non-invasive spread of atypical epithelial cells in single rows along the alveolar wall, within a lesion that is usually less than 5 mm in diameter. AAH was also regarded as a pre-invasive neoplasia, especially associated with BAC and adenocarcinoma. We report a case of type II CCAM with AAH in adults, with a review of the references.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between LLFDI and quality of sleep in older men with prostatic hypertrophic symptoms. Methods: The secondary analysis of data collected for the 2nd stage BK(Brain Korea)21 project was performed. The original data were collected using a cross-sectional, face-to-face, and private interview method. The questionnaires consisted of prostatic hypertrophic symptoms, late-life function and disability, quality of sleep, and demographic profiles. Results: A total of 112 older men included in this study. The major findings of this study were as follow; 1) 29.5% of participants had more than moderate symptoms of prostatic hypertrophy. 2) There were a significant positive correlation of prostatic hypertrophic symptoms with subjective sleep quality, sleep latency, sleep disturbances, use of sleeping medication, and daytime dysfunction found, whereas there was a negative relationship with frequency dimension. 3) The LLFDI is significantly associated with urgency, weak stream, and intermittency. The quality of sleep is significantly associated with weak stream which explained 11.2% of variance. Conclusion: These results may contribute to a better understanding late-life function and disability, quality of sleep in older men with prostatic hypertrophic symptoms. Therefore, health programs for prompting older men's health should be planned based on results of the study.

This study investigated and analyzed the symptoms of urinary incontinence and the wearing status, purchase status, and preference for urinary incontinence products in women in their 50s and older. When purchasing urinary incontinence pads and panty, waterproof function and absorption speed were recognized as important. In urinary incontinence products, the most common function was to prevent leakage, and the preferred color was skin. When the number of urinary incontinence was high, the absorption function was considered important. Size or fit was important when the amount of urinary incontinence was small, but waterproof function was found to be important when the amount of urinary incontinence increased. It was hoped that a function to prevent leakage would be added when the incidence of urinary incontinence and the amount of urinary incontinence were high, and a panty-type pad was preferred. It was analyzed that the higher the number of births, the higher the amount of urinary incontinence, and the more frequent symptoms of urinary incontinence appeared. t was found that the earlier menopause, the higher the amount of urinary incontinence.

In this review, the compositions of the sex pheromones of 22 lepidopteran species were analyzed and briefly arranged by comparing the research results conducted in different locations worldwide. These compositions can be used as monitoring tools for pests of rice, maize, leguminous crops, perilla, and sesame in Korea. The sex pheromone compounds and those compositions of four species were successfully identified within Korean populations. The optimal compositions of sex pheromones of three other species were selected through behavioral studies using synthetic chemicals of the known pheromone compounds in laboratories and fields, without chemical identification processes in the sex pheromone compounds of Korean populations. For a few species, the roles of the minor components of the sex pheromone volatiles should be re-assessed for use in the development of optimal monitoring lures.

Objective: MicroRNAs (miR) are known to repress target genes at post-transcriptional level and play important roles in development and maturation of cell. However, the expression profiles of miR during ovarian follicle maturation have not been fully elucidated. Here, we designed this study to investigate the expression profiles of miR in oocytes and granulose cells (G-cells) after in vitro culture according to gonadotropins and adding hCG. Methods: Ovaries from 12-day-old mice (C57BL6) were removed and preantral follicles were isolated and cultured in $20\;{\mu}L$-drop of culture media with supplementation of either rFSH, rLH, or rFSH+rLH. After their full maturation, follicles were incubated with rhCG and rEGF. RNA was isolated from oocytes and G-cells, and real-time PCR were performed with primers of miR known to be expressed in the mouse ovary (mmu-miR-16, -miR-27a, -miR-126, -miR-721). Results: FSH+LH group showed the highest ovulation and MII rates among gonadotropin groups. The profiles of miRs in oocytes and G-cells differed according to gonadotropin groups and adding hCG. The profiles of miRs showed divergent changes between oocytes and G-cells. Conclusion: miR expression profiles are altered by gonadotropins and supplementation of hCG during in vitro maturation of murine follicles. Target gene study must be necessary to validate these findings.

최근 관심의 대상이 되고 있는 유기박막트랜지스터 (Organic Thin Film Transisto., OTFT)는 현재 사용되고 있는 무기물 트랜지스터에 비해 가볍고 낮은 공정 온도와 가격으로 인하여 대면적 LCD, EL, smart card의 능동구동소자로서 적용이 가능하다고 알려져 있다[1,2]. 하지만 현재 연구되고 있는 단분자 유기물을 사용한 OTFT는 비교적 높은 온도에서 소자의 각 구성요소를 증착해야 되므로 여전히 복잡한 공정이 필요하며, 활성층으로 쓰이는 유기물과 금속전극의 계면문제로 전기적 특성이 떨어진다[3]. 홈 네트워크 산업은 인간의 욕구와 맞물려 앞으로의 발전 가능성이 큰 분야이다. 미 가전협회의 조사에 따르면 소비자들도 홈 네트워크 시스템에 많은 관심을 가지고 있고, 애널리스트 샘 루세노는 "홈 오토메이션 시장은 해를 거듭할수록 규모가 커질 것이다."라고 예상하고 있다. 최근 네트워크 기술은 유선에서 무선으로 발전되고 있으며 홈 네트워크 서비스에는 유선보다 무선 네트워크 기술이 많이 쓰이고 있다. 본 논문에서는 각종 무선 네트워크 통신 기술에 대해 비교분석하고 홈 네트워크 서비스와의 연관성을 살펴보기 위하여 현재 홈 네트워크 서비스에 널리 사용되고 있는 무선 네트워킹 기술인 IEEE 802.11 무선랜 그룹과, IEEE 802.14.1의 블루투스 및 IEEE 802.14.5에 정의된 지그비 통신 기술에 대한 비교분석 한다.

A 13-year old male dog with right forelimb lameness, invisible swelling, anorexia and mild depression was referred to Veterinary leaching Hospital, College of Veterinary Medicine, Kyungpook National University. On forelimb radiographic views, periosteal and endosteal proliferation and cortical lysis and extremely aggressive and amorphous periosteal reactions were located along the metaphyseal region of the proximal humerus. Cytologic and histopathologic examinations after amputation showed anaplastic mesenchymal cells that produced osteoid changes, poorly differentiated osteoblast and osteoclast. And also, it included the neoplastic cells with large nucleoli, multiple nucleoli that differ in size and cytoplasm with several clear vacuoles. Based on the physical examination and laboratory, radiolographic, cytologic and histopathologic findings, this case was diagnosed as osteosarcoma of the proximal humerus.

An algorithm is proposed for computing dynamic displacements of a bridge using FBG sensors. An existing algorithm for estimating dynamic displacements of a simply supported beam through mode superposition is extended and applied to various types of bridges with bending and torsional modes. The proposed algorithm is examined through field tests on a suspension span steel deck plate box girder bridge. Guidelines are provided for determining the number of modes and the number of strain gages to be used.

A 15-year-old, spayed-female Maltese dog was presented with history of erythema and pruritus in left axillary region. In physical examination, firm elevated erythematous lesions were distributed throughout the axillary lesion. Fine needle aspiration cytology showed neoplastic epithelial cells with anisocytosis, high N:C ratio, and prominent nucleoli. Histologically, this lesion was consisted of a proliferation of undifferentiated neoplastic cells with eosinophilic cytoplasm. Mitotic figures of the neoplastic cells were observed and the neoplastic cells were intensely positive for cytokeratin. The presenting tumor was diagnosed as dermal apocrine gland adenocarcinoma.
