Natural Dyeing of Silks Dyed Singly with Caesalpinia sappan, Dactylopius coccus, Combination-Dyed with Caesalpinia sappan and Phellodendron Amurense Rupr., and with Dactylopius coccus and Phellodendron Amurense Rupr. (소목 및 코치닐로 단독 염색한 견직물, 그리고 소목과 황벽 및 코치닐과 황벽으로 복합 염색한 견직물의 천연염색)

  • We studied the dyeability and functionality of silks dyed singly with Caesalpinia sappan, Dactylopius coccus, combination-dyed with Caesalpinia sappan and Phellodendron Amurense Rupr., and with Dactylopius coccus and Phellodendron Amurense Rupr.. The color of silk dyed singly with Caesalpinia sappan was Red with Hue of 2.2 R, the color of silk dyed singly with Dactylopius coccus was Reddish Purple with Hue of 3.0 RP, The color of silk combination-dyed with Caesalpinia sappan and Phellodendron Amurense Rupr. was 2.7YR being in the Orange family, and the color of silk combination-dyed with Dactylopius coccus and Phellodendron Amurense Rupr. was Red with Hue of 4.3R. In the case of antimicrobial activity, except for silk dyed only with Dactylopius coccus, the other three types of dyed silk showed excellent antimicrobial activity against Staphylococcus aureus achieving higher than 91.1% of bacteria reduction rate. Against Klebsiella pneumoniae, silk combination-dyed with Dactylopius coccus and Phellodendron Amurense Rupr., and with Caesalpinia sappan and Phellodendron Amurense Rupr. presented very excellent antimicrobial property achieving bacteria reduction rate of 99.9%.

THE COLOR CHANGE OF VISIBLE LIGHT-CURED COMPOSITE RESINS AND COMPOMERS ACCORDING TO THE THICKNESS AND BACKGROUND COLOR (광중합형 복합레진과 콤포머의 두께와 배경색에 따른 색변화)

  • The color of an esthetic restorative material is controlled primarily by thickness of the material and background color. Although the effects of the two factors on the color coordinates of esthetic dental materials have been reported, the mechanism has not been clarified well enough to explain the effects quantitatively. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of thickness and background color on the color of tooth colored restorative materials quantitatively. One hundred sixty samples were fabricated from two commercial light-cured composite resins and two commercial compomers. The color characteristics and changes in the color coordinates were measured by a tristimulus colorimeter (Model TC-6FX, Tokyo Denshoku Co. Japan) using the CIELAB system. The results were as follows: 1. As thickness increased from 1.0 to 4.0mm, values of $L^*$ $a^*$ $b^*$ changed irregulary for white and dentin color background, but showed no obvious difference in color for black background. 2. The colors of composite resins and compomers were significantly influenced by background color. 3. The color difference was recognized even the same shade name in four representative kinds of composite resins and compomers. 4. As thickness changed, values of color difference for same products and same background color showed constancy, but showed difference for different background color.

활성제 이온의 몰 비에 따른 CaTa2O6:RE3+ (RE=Eu, Sm) 형광체 분말의 특성

  • 최근에 희토류 이온이 도핑된 형광체를 발광 소자, 레이저, 섬광재료, 광섬유, 촉매, 디스플레이와 같은 다양한 분야에 응용하기 위한 연구에 상당한 관심이 집중되고 있으며, 희토류 이온이 도핑된 발광 물질은 음극선관, 램프 조명, 플라즈마 디스플레이, X선 검출기, 전계 방출 디스플레이 소자를 포함한 다양한 영역에 응용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 고상 반응법을 사용하여 발광 효율이 높은 적색과 주황색 형광체를 제조하고자 서로 다른 활성체 이온 Eu3+, Sm3+의 농도를 변화 시키면서 두 종류 Ca1-1.5xTa2O6:Eux3+와 Ca1-1.5xTa2 O6:Smx3+ 형광체 분말을 합성하였다. 특히, 활성제 이온의 농도비에 따른 형광체 분말의 결정 구조, 표면 형상, 입자의 크기, 흡광과 발광 특성을 측정하였다. 그림은 활성체 이온의 함량비를 달리하여 합성한 Ca1-1.5xTa2O6:Eux3+, Ca1-1.5xTa2O6:Smx3+ 형광체 분말에서 측정한 흡광(photoluminescence excition) 스펙트럼의 결과를 나타낸 것이다. 여기 파장 399 nm로 여기 시킨 Ca1-1.5xTa2O6:Eux3+ 형광체 분말의 경우에, 발광 세기가 가장 강한 617 nm의 주 피크가 관측되었다. 또한, 여기 파장 410 nm로 여기 시킨 Ca1-1.5xTa2O6:Smx3+ 형광체 분말의 경우에는 발광 세기가 가장 강한 주 피크는 609 nm에서 나타났다. 실험 결과로부터, Eu3+와 Sm3+ 이온이 각각 도핑된 CaTa2O6 형광체의 경우에는 색 순도가 높은 파장과 발광 세기는 Eu3+ 이온인 경우에 0.15 mol, Sm3+ 이온이 도핑되는 경우에는 0.05 mol이 최적의 합성 조건임을 알 수 있었다.

Effect of Seed Size and Mucilaginous Substance on Seed Germination of Peony(Paeonia lactiflora Pall.) (작약(芍藥) 종자(種子)의 형태적(形態的) 특성(特性)과 점액물(粘液物)이 발아(發芽)에 미치는 영향(影響))

  • The experiments were conducted to determine the influence of seed size and mucilaginous substance on seed germination of herbaceous peony collected from farmers' fields in Korea. No significant difference was recognized between the size of seed and the rale of germination. The maximum percentage(68%) of seed germination was obtained from the seeds with thin brown colour treated at $20^{\circ}C$. The amount of mucilaginous substances exuded from peony seeds was the highest in the seeds with black brown colour. Germination rate of peony seeds was negatively correlated with the amount of mucilaginous substance exuded from the seeds. High frequency(93%) of seed germination was obtained from the seeds which treated in the mixture(1:1) of sands and activated charcoal.

  • The learning and cognition of preschool children begins with the color of the object, and the game interface is the child's first impression of the game, so reasonable color design is needed. This article selects 10 educational mobile game for preschool children, extracts colors from the game interface and startup icons, and puts them into Photoshop to analyze the three elements of color hue, lightness, and saturation. Finally, three suggestions are put forward for the color design of game UI. 1.Choose a color similar to the actual color of the thing. 2. Choose warm colors according to your child's preferences. 3. When using contrasting colors, please reduce the brightness or purity of the colors. It is hoped that the research conclusions can provide reference materials for the color design of educational game UI for preschool children.

Awareness Survey of Consumers buying Companion Dog Food through Internet (인터넷을 통한 반려견 식품 구매자의 인식 조사)

  • The aim of this study is to investigate the expenditure items and expenses for companion dogs and the appropriate considerations when choosing companion dog food for consumers who purchase dog food through the internet. The survey subjects consisted of 39 males (6.8%) and 532 females (93.2%), and it was found that most women purchase dog food through the internet. According to the age of dog owner, 184 (32.2%) were in their 20s and 241 (42.2%) in their 30s and 146 (25.6%) in their 40s or older. According to the age of the dogs, 200 (35%) were under 3 years old, 202 (35.4%) over 8 years old, and 169 (29.6%) were between 4 and 7 years old. The most preferred ingredient was chicken, regardless of dogs' owner or the dogs' age. Spending less than 100,000 won was most frequency reported, regardless of dog owner and the age of the dog, and major dog food was reported to be purchased in the order of online shopping malls and animal hospitals. In order to improve health function, it was determined that improvement of skin and hair is the most important, and next, was improvement of tooth bone formation and digestibility. When choosing food for companion dogs, nutritional composition of all the products was the most important consideration, followed by brand products with recognition, color, smell, shape, functional improvement products, and price of the products. Therefore, when developing a new product for companion dog food, consideration must be given not only to the nutritional components of all products, but also the brands, color, odor, shape, nutritional balance, functional improvement and price.

Fermentation Characteristics of Rice-Grape Wine Fermented with Rice and Grape (쌀과 포도를 혼합하여 발효시킨 쌀포도주의 발효 특성)

  • Fermentation characteristics of rice-grape wine with different mixing ratios of rice and grape, rice one vs. grape five (Exp.1), rice two vs. grape five (Exp.2), rice five vs. grape five (Exp.3), and rice five and grape two (Exp.4), were investigated. Final alcohol contents of Exp.4, Exp.3, Exp.2, and Exp.1 were 18.4, 16.0, 14.9, and 12.9%, respectively. Final alcohol content increased with increasing amount of rice. Acidity of four experiments ranged pH 3.4-3.92, and total acidity was 0.52-0.74%. Exp.4, Exp.3, Exp.2, and Exp.1 gave a values of 8.76, 12.77, 12.88, and 23.96, respectively. When different mixing methods were applied to Exp.1, the resulting final alcohol contents of Exp.6 (grape musts periodically added after rice fermentation), Exp.7 (rice and grape simultaneously added and fermented), and Exp.8 (rice added after grape must fermentation) were 2.3-3.2% Bower than that of Exp.1 (grape must added after rice fermentation), and total acidity was 0.72-0.74%. Sensory evaluation comparing conventional red wine and rice-grape wine of Exp.1 showed rice-grape wine was preferred in taste.

  • 한국어의 운율구조는 발화문장(utterance), 억양구(intonational phrase), 악센트구(accentual phrase), 음운적 어절(phonological word), 음절(syllable) 순의 계층적 구조를 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 운율구조의 각 층에서 성조 이벤트가 얹혀지는 음절이나 또는 각 층의 운율단위말의 음절의 음향적 길이를 측정함으로써 첫째, 운율단위말의 음절의 음향적 길이 또한 계층적 순위를 보이는지 둘째, 성조 이벤트(tonal event)와 음향적 길이 사이에 높은 상관관계를 보이는지 보고자 한다. 즉, 두 가지 측면에서 길이비교가 수행되었는데 하나는 언어 보편적 현상으로 알려진 구말 장음화 현상으로써 각 층 운율적 단위의 마지막 음절의 모음 길이 비교이며 다른 하나는 억양구초 고성조가 실현되는 음절의 모음과 어절 내 모음, 그리고 고성조가 실현되는 억양구말 음절의 모음간의 길이 비교이다. 남녀 각각 200문장의 각 분절음과 운율분석을 한 후 길이에 대한 일원분산분석 실시 결과 억양구말은 악센트구말 보다 길었으나 악센트구말은 어절말과 차이를 보이지 않거나 남자 화자의 경우 오히려 짧게 나타났다. 그리고 남자화자의 경우 악센트구초 고성자가 얹혀지는 음절의 길이는 어절 내 어절말 음절을 제외한 그 외 음절과 화자에 따라 큰 차이를 보이지 않거나 그보다 조금 짧게 실현되는 것으로 나타났다. 위의 결과는 첫째, 단위말 음절 모음의 장음화는 운율적 구조의 층위에 일대일 대응을 보이지 않는 것으로 해석되며 둘째, 성조 이벤트와 그것이 실현되는 분절음의 음향적 길이와는 큰 상관관계를 보이지 않는 것으로 해석될 수 있겠다. 그러나 이러한 일반화에 대한 충분한 근거 제공을 위해서는 해당음절의 모음 길이 뿐만 아니라 초성자음의 길이간의 비교와 음절자체의 길이 비교 또한 필요한 것이며 모음길이에 대한 선행자음의 분절음적 영향 고려가 수반되어야 할 것으로 보인다. 다음 내용을 정리해 보고자 한다.리해 보고자 한다.rc$ 구입할 때 중점적으로 살펴보는 사항은 신선도와 순수재래종 여부, 위생상태였다. 한편 소비자가 언제나 구입할 수 없다는 의견이 85.2%나 되어 원활한 공급과 시장조성이 아직 정착되지 않고 있었다. $\bigcirc$ 현재 유통되고 있는 재래종닭은 소비자 대부분이 잡종으로 인식하고 있었으며, 재래종과 일반육계와의 구별은 깃털색, 피부색, 정강이색등 외관상으로 구별하고 있었다. 체중에 대한 반응은 너무 작다는 의견이었고, 식품으로의 인식도는 비교적 고급식품으로 인식하고 있다. $\bigcirc$ 재래종닭고기의 브랜드화에 대한 견해는 젊고 소득이 높은 계층에서 브랜드화의 필요성을 강조하고 있다. $\bigcirc$ 재래종달걀의 소비형태는 대부분의 소비자가 좋아하였으나 아직 먹어보지 못한 응답자가 많았다. 재래종달걀의 맛에 대해서는 고소하고 독특하여 차별성을 느끼고 있었다. $\bigcirc$ 재래종달걀의 구입장소는 계란판매점(축협.농협), 슈퍼, 백화점, 재래닭 사육 농장등 다양하였으며 포장단위는 10개를 가장 선호하였고, 포장재료는 종이, 플라스틱, 짚의 순으로 좋아하였다. $\bigcirc$ 달걀의 가격은 200원정도를 적정하다고 하였으며, 크기는 (평균 52g)는 가장 적당하다고 인식하고 있으며, 난각색은 대부분의 응답자가 갈색을 선호하였다. $\bigcirc$ 재래종달걀의 구입시 애로사항은 믿을수 없고, 구입장소를 몰라서, 값이 싸다 등이었고, 앞으로 신뢰할 수 있고 위생적인 생산 및 유통체계가 확립될 경우 더 많이 소비하겠다는 의견이었다. $\bigcirc$ 재래닭 판매업소(식당)의 판매형태는 66.7%인 대부분의 업소가 잡종과 개량종 유색닭을 판매하고 있었으며, 1개 업소에서 1일 판

Repeatability of New Phoria Test Using Color Chart and Color Filter (색 시표와 색 필터를 이용한 새로운 사위검사의 신뢰도)

  • Purpose: The repeatability of a new Red-Blue phoria chart test (Red-Blue phoria chart; RBP) was appreciated. Methods: Distance (5 m) and near (40 cm) heterophoria was measured in 38 visually normal subjects. Phoria tests using RBP, Howell phoria card (HP), and MIM card (MIM) were done and the repeatability of each phoria test was compared with one another. Results: The mean of horizontal deviations was that RBP was $-0.602{\pm}0.727{\Delta}$, HP was $-0.865{\pm}1.051{\Delta}$, and MIM was $-1.501{\pm}1.346{\Delta}$, at distance, and that RBP was $-2.566{\pm}2.352{\Delta}$, HP was $-2.804{\pm}2.411{\Delta}$, MIM was $-3.838{\pm}2.603{\Delta}$, at near. The repeatability was RBP>MIM>HP in distance tests and MIM>RBP>HP in near tests. Conclusions:RBP test is identified as a reliable phoria test having high repeatability.

The Clothes Tendensy of Korean Sericultural Women (한국 양잠부녀자의 의복변천에 관한 연구)

  • This study was conducted in order to find out the tendency of sericultural woman's clothes. This data was based on random samples of 183 sericultural women throughout the country, and was derived from the investigation of c1othes (western and Korean-style) which had been made during the years, 1967∼1969. The results obtained are summarized as follows: 1. Western-style clothes were about twice as popular as Korean-style, and more evident among the young women. It was also shown that the ratioes mentioned above were gradually decreased year by year. 2. Most popular among the western-style clothes were blouses, one-piece dresses and skirts. Jogori(coat) and Cheema(long skirt) were favorites among the Korean-styled clothes. One-piece dresses showed increasing tendency of use year by year. 3. Costume-made clothes were much more in number than the home-made and the ready-made types. The home-made and the ready-made clothes increased as the ages increased. 4. Western-styled clothes were popular in summer seasons while Korean-styled clothes were popular in the winter time. Among the western-styled clothes one-pieces dresses and two-piece suits were most popular during the spring through autumn. In Korean clothes the Cheema was popular all year round. 5. Western-style clothes were mostly made of polyester and their blends. Silk was the least used fabric. On the contrary, most of Korean-style clothes were made of silk and their blends. The synthetic fibers showed increasing use year by year. 6. Favorite colors were in order; white, blue, brown, and black in western-style clothes; white, blue, green, and gray were in Korean style clothes. Young women teaded to have a wider preference of colors than the older women.
