Renal hemodynamics in dogs with experimental hydronephrosis treated with transarterial embolization of renal artery (신장동맥색전술을 실시한 개의 실험적 수신증의 혈동학)

  • This study was performed to evaluate the renal hemodynamics using color Doppler ultrasonography in dogs with unilateral experimental hydronephrosis treated with transarterial embolization of the renal artery (TAE-RA). Experimental hydronephrosis was induced by ligation of unilateral ureter in 12 dogs. The mean resistive index (RI) value of kidney was significantly increased at 4, 9, 17 days after ligation of ureter. Unilateral hydronephrosis was established in 12 dogs at 17 days after ligation of ureter. Renal artery embolization was performed using selective catheterization in the hydronephrotic kidney of seven dogs and EKG, $SpO_2$body temperature, pulse, and respiratory rate were within normal ranges during procedures. There were no dogs expired after TAE-RA and no side effects associated with regurgitation of iohexol-ethanol solution. In color Doppler ultrasonographic findings, there was no blood flow into the embolized kidneys treated by TAE-RA, however, blood flow signal was found in contralateral normal kidney of dogs treated with TAE-RA compared to that of normal kidney in normal control group. It is concluded that TAE-RA does not affect the hemodynamics of contralateral normal kidney in dogs with experimental hydronephrosis and color Doppler ultrasonography is simple and non-invasive modality for the monitoring of the revascularization of the renal artery after TAE-RA.

Basic Research on Lighting Design for Learning Effect (학습효과 증진을 위한 조명설계에 대한 기초연구)

  • This study conducted basic research on an LED lighting design to improve the learning effect from brain wave analysis. The ideal environments of mathematics, language, and creative region can be different. Inside the space where the lighting environment can be experienced directly, the test subject consisted of common elements. Other lighting was blocked completely in controlled lighting conditions. The brain waves were analyzed according to the change in color temperature and illumination. The analyzer used was fabricated by EMOTIV Company. In the variable RGB LED light, the color of the light was measured, and the brain wave of each subject was determined. LED lights have variable color temperature (3000 [K], 4500 [K]. 250 [lux], 70% -350 [lux], 100% -500 [lux]). As research results, the highest concentration in a mathematics study was in the general condition of a high color temperature, in which the optimal condition was a 6000[K] color temperature and 350[lux] illumination. The optimal condition for a language study was a 4500[K] color temperature and 500[lux] illumination, and that of the creative study was 3000[K] color temperature and 500[lux] illumination. Overall, the possibility of emotional ability and concentrated learning efficiency can be improved by the LED lighting design with the color temperature and illumination.

참외식초/농축액을 함유한 참외농축음료의 저장조건 모니터링

  • 현재 참외는 생산량의 대부분이 생과로 소비되고 있으나, 저장성이 낮아 새로운 가공식품 개발이 요구되고 있는 실정이다. 이에 참외식초/참외농축액을 함유하는 참외농축음료를 제조하였으며, 유통기간 동안 품질변화를 알아보기 위해 저장온도 및 저장시간에 따른 품질변화를 조사하였다. 배합조건에 따라 배합한 참외농축음료를 8$0^{\circ}C$에서 30분간 살균한 후 저장온도 및 시간에 따른 품질변화 및 관능적 특성변화를 모니터링하였다. 저장온도(20, 30, 40, 50, 6$0^{\circ}C$) 및 저장시간(0, 2, 4, 5, 8 week)을 독립변수(Xi.)로 하여 달리한 각 실험조건을 -2, -1, 0, 1, 2의 다신 단계로 부호화하고 실험조건을 설계한 다음 각 조건에서 저장된 참외음료의 품질특성(종속변수, Yn)을 모니터링하였다. 관능검사는 선정된 패널요원을 대상으로 4$^{\circ}C$에서 저장한 대조구와의 색상, 향, 맛 및 전반적인 기호도가 어떻게 달라지는가를 평가하였으며, 색도 및 갈색도를 측정하였다. 또한 제조된 참외 농축 음료를 저장하면서 미생물의 생육유무를 확인하기 위해 Petrifilm을 사용하여 미생물의 유무를 확인하였다. 참외식초/참외농축액을 이용한 참외농축음료를 제조하여 음료의 저장온도 및 저장시간에 따른 관능적인 특성 및 품질 특성을 모니터링하면서 저장성 실험을 통해 저장안전성을 평가한 결과 저장시간 및 저장온도에 따른 관능적인 색상은 1.6~4.0의 값을 나타내었으며, 향은 2.3~4.0의 값을 나타내었으며, 맛은 1.8~4.0의 값을, 전반적인 기호도는 2.1~4.0의 감을 나타내는 것으로 나타났다. 이화학적 품질 검사 결과, 색도L(백색도)값은 21.79~87.23, 색도 a(적색도)값은 -1.27~35.79의 값을 나타내었으며, 색도 b(황색도)값은 16.57~18.89의 값을 나타내었다. 갈색도는 0.386~3.214의 값을 나타내었으며, PH는 4.02~4.24의 값을 나타내었다. 일반미생물은 검사 결과 모든 조건에서 검출되지 않았다. 참외농축음료를 8$0^{\circ}C$에서 30분간 살균하여 미생물학적 품질 검사 결과 저장온도 및 저장시간에 따라 미생물이 검출되지 않았으며, 유통하기에 적합한 음료가 제조됨을 검증할 수 있었다.

Decolorization of Real Textile Wastewater by Coagulation Conditions (응집조건이 염색폐수의 색도제거에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was carried out in order to investigate the decolorization and reduced sludge of real textile wastewater by coagulation process. The aim of the study was to verify the relation between decolorization and coagulants of real textile wastewater treatment processes. Coagulation processes were performed using $FeCl_3$, $FeSO_4$, and $Al_2(SO_4)_3$. Real textile wastewater has a mean concentration for BOD, COD, pH, color to be 800 mg/L, 600 mg/L, 9.7, and 102, respectively. From the experimental results, it was shown that the $FeCl_3$ exhibited higher decolorization at the operating conditions 335~2000 mg/L of coagulants and 500 mg/L NaOH dosage. The efficiency of color removal depended on the wastewater pH and concentration of coagulants.

Shadow Removal Based on Chromaticity and Entropy for Efficient Moving Object Tracking (효과적인 이동물체 추적을 위한 색도 영상과 엔트로피 기반의 그림자 제거)

  • Recently, various research for intelligent video surveillance system have been proposed, but the existing monitoring systems are inefficient because all of situational awareness is judged by the human. In this paper, shadow removal based moving object tracking method is proposed using the chromaticity and entropy image. The background subtraction model, effective in the context awareness environment, has been applied for moving object detection. After detecting the region of moving object, the shadow candidate region has been estimated and removed by RGB based chromaticity and minimum cross entropy images. For the validity of the proposed method, the highway video is used to experiment. Some experiments are conducted so as to verify the proposed method, and as a result, shadow removal and moving object tracking are well performed.

Cost Model of Index Structures for Moving Objects Databases (이동체 데이터베이스를 위한 색인 구조의 비용모델)

  • In this paper, we are going to develop a newly designed indexing scheme which is compatible to manage the moving objects and propose a cost model of the scheme. We propose a dynamic hashing index that insertion/delete costs are low. The dynamic hashing structure is that apply dynamic hashing techniques to combine a hash and a tree to a spatial index. We analyzed the dynamic index structure and the cost model by the frequent position update of moving objects and verified through a performance assessment experiment. The results of our extensive experiments show that the newly proposed indexing schemes(Dynamic Hashing Index) are much more efficient than the traditional the fixed grid and R-tree.

Color Transfer in Painting Images Using Separation of Saturation (채색 분리를 이용한 그림 영상에서의 색변환 기법)

  • 색 변환(Color Transfer) 기법은 컴퓨터 비전 및 영상 처리 분야에서 점점 더 많은 연구가 되고 있는 분야이다. 이는 참조 영상의 분위기를 원본 영상에 반영하는 기법이다. 본 논문에서는 채도가 낮은 색상에서 나타나는 잘못된 연산 결과를 해결하기 위해 채도 문턱치에 따라 유채색과 무채색으로 분류하여 인덱싱 하고, Lab색 모델에서 색상 채널인 a, b를 사용하여 그림 영상에서의 색 변환하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 영상의 화소들의 채도 문턱치를 이용하여 유채색과 무채색으로 분류하는 단계, 분류된 화소들의 색 특성을 이용한 cylindrical metric를 이용한 인덱싱 하는 단계, 각 인덱스 내의 위치적 표준편차와 화소수를 이용하여 인덱스들의 우열을 가리는 단계, 인덱스들의 우세한 순서로 Lab 색 모델에서 a 채널과 b 채널을 이용하여 색 변환하는 단계 등 4단계로 구성된다. 실험결과는 제안한 방법이 무채색과 유채색이 잘 분류되어 인덱싱 되었음을 보이고 원본 영상의 색이 참조영상의 색으로 잘 변환된 것을 보인다.

  • 이 연구의 목적은 백색 LED 광원의 색이라도 색온도에 따라 심리적 안전감과 명시성이 달라진다. 따라서 색온도를 조정할 수 있는 스탠드라이트 광원을 만들면 장시간 사물과 책을 볼 시 눈의 인지능력 향상과 눈의 피로를 감소시킬 수 있다. 본 연구를 통하여 3가지 색온도 백색 3000K 대역, 5000K 대역, 6600K 대역의 LED 광원을 이용하여 산술적 합성의 의하여 4000K 대역, 6000K 대역 등 다양하게 색온도를 구현하여 실제적으로 조명을 조사하여 인지능력과 눈의 피로가 감소 시킬 수 있는 색온도를 갖는 스탠드라이트 광원을 찾는데 목적을 둔다. 또한 4000K인 경우 3000K와 5000K LED 출력을 1:1 비율로 조사하면 4000K의 색온도가 나올 것으로 이론상 가능하고 2:1 비율로 조사하면 3500K의 색온도가 나올 것으로 예상되며 총 9가지의 산술적 조명을 구현한다. 스탠드라이트 광원을 자주 사용하는 고등학생을 대상으로 학습 분위기를 조성할 수 있는 9가지 백색 LED 색온도 광원 중 1개를 선택하여 가장 적합한 조명의 수요도 조사를 하고 본 연구의 색온도 산술적 합성 연구의 실험을 통하여 색온도가 조절 가능한 스탠드 라이트를 상용화 하는데 논문의 목적을 둔다.

Study of perception of the visual depth caused by the color correction (입체영상 제작에서 색 보정 결과가 입체감 인지에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • These days, as digital producing technique has been developed, 3D imaging technique is used in high-tech computer and T.V. Also study for 3D producing technique is actively in progress. Moreover, as James Cameron's movie, 'Avatar' released in 2009 was a box office hit, the issue about 3D image came to the fore again. At this point, I decided to study the effect of the visual depth caused by the color correction during the post-production stage. The purpose of this study is to offer information about processing effective images through data about the effect of the visual depth that applies the color correction during the post-production stage. Basically, I supposed that color and contract would have effects on depth of 3D image. As a result, I could find out the changes of visual depth, space perception and sense of depth throughout the experiment. Applying this result,, I produced the 15 minutes of 3D advertisement movie and I found out that the color correction during the post-production stage was very effective for 3D depth. The left image and the right image by beam splitter based rig and parallel rig were used for this study. Also I adjusted the strong contrast by the color correction during the post-production stage after correcting convergence and visual depth during editing. As a result, I could produce images which had strong sense of space and sense of depth.

The Influence of Chromacity of LED Lighting on Time Perception (LED 조명 색도에 따른 시간 인지에 대한 연구)

  • LED technology offers versatile lighting control while having a very low environmental impact. Consequently, increasing attention is being paid to the emotional impact of LED lighting. This study investigated whether the chromacity of LED lighting influences people's time perception. To this end, two empirical studies were conducted: First, in experiment I(N=28), the subjects compared their perception of the time duration, which was varied from 3s to 20s, for 6 chromatically nuanced lighting conditions, respectively, with that under a daylight condition. The results showed that, in warm-color nuanced lighting conditions, the subjects perceived time to pass more slowly than in the daylight condition. On the contrary, in cool-color nuanced lighting conditions, the subjects perceived time to pass more rapidly than in the daylight condition. Then, in experiment II(N=39), the subjects were asked to count for 90 seconds while simultaneously performing some cognitive tasks. Confirming the results found in experiment I, the subjects perceived time to pass more rapidly in cool-color nuanced lighting conditions than in warm-color nuanced lighting conditions, although the difference was not statistically significant(p>0.05). In addition, the subjects tended to perceive the time to be shorter when the nuanced color of the light was closer to their preferred color.
