This experiment was carried out for estimating genetic parameters, such as heritabilities, the phenotrpic and genotypic correlations of major agronomic characters with 64 cultivars in wanggol. Heritabilities of leaf length, number of leaf, stem length, stem diameter, number of stem and dry weight of medulla were higher, but that of dry weight of cortical were relatively lower. The genotypic correlation coefficients between stem length and dry weight of medulla, and between stem length and dry weight of cortical showed highly positive correlation, and stem length, stem diameter and dry weight of medulla were significantly correlated with dry weight of cortical, those characters gave high direct effect as same level in path-coefficient analysis.

A Rayleigh fading channel simulator that realizes given correlation properties between two channels such as downlink/uplink is described. We propose an improved channel simulator that provides more accurate match between reference correlation and simulated one. The proposed channel simulator is based on a sum-of-sinusoids (SOS) method that handles finite sums of weighted sinusoid functions. SOS method is widely accepted in generating fading signals and obtain the exact match with the reference model if infinite number of weighted sinusoids are used. The proposed channel simulator minimizes mean-square-error (MSE) to obtain a close matched correlation properties.

Algo1형의 준분리 식쌍성 가운데 공전주기가 변하는 20여개의 식쌍성들을 택하여 이 식쌍성들의 공전주기 변화량을 결정하였다. 검출된 주기 변화량과 이 별들의 물리량과의 상관관계-즉, 공전주기와공전주기 변화량,주기변화량과 질량비 주기 변화량과 주성과 반성의 온도차, 그리고 변화량과 총 각운동량의 관계등을 조사하였다. 이러한 조사에서 식쌍성의 공전주기 변화가 이러한 별의 물리량과 상호 상관 관계를 보인다며, Algo1형 식쌍성의 진화를 설명할 수 있는 또 다른 자료를 제공하게 될 것이다.

In a cylindrical sonar, a conventional broadband energy detector has limitations in the separation of adjacent targets. In this paper, a broadband detection algorithm using cross-correlation is applied to the cylindrical sonar to improve the bearing resolution. The proposed algorithm uses split beamforming before broadband detection processing using cross-correlation to generate half beams. The time delay obtained from the peak of correlation between half beams is used to estimate the bearing of target. Simulations demonstrate the improved performance of the proposed algorithm against the conventional algorithm.

The major goal of this study is to examine the relation between conflict management strategies and communication competences and the relation between communication competences and relational outcomes of actors in conflict communication situations. Some of the major findings are as follows; 1. The integrate strategy has some positive correlation with communication competences. But escape strategy has some negative correlations with them. It means that the actors who have integrate strategy seems to be evaluated their communication competences highly and the others who have escape strategy seems to be evaluated them lowly. 2. The communication competences have some positive correlations with the relational outcomes such as variables of intimacy, trust and relational satisfaction after conflict. This means the actors evaluate others' communication competences highly intend to have more intimacy, trust and relational satisfaction after conflicts. 3. The communication competence intermediate the conflict management strategy and relational outcomes after conflict. It means that relational outcomes after conflict depend on partners' recognitions of actors communication competence. In sort the present study demonstrates that it is important to improve communication competences in order to get some productive output in conflict interpersonal communication situation.

Recent development and penetrating expansion in ICT(Information and Communication Technology) has brought considerable improvements in transportation services. However, there is a controversial debate whether transportation and communications behave as substitutes or as complements to one another. On this subject, recent studies considered those two industries as services, but transportation and communications are broadly put for intermediary goods into other industries. Hence, it is essential to examine this issue from understanding their relationships to each other with respect to manufacturing and services. In this study, input-output tables of benchmark years from 1980 to 2005 have been analysed to explore the relationships between transportation and communications using Spearman's correlation analysis. The results show that both industries had complementary roles over the period, but, to some extent, changed into substitution roles in some categories.

This study was carried out to seek the visible marker and make it easy to select the individuals or lines which have excellent characters. Ginseng plants of one to five years were used for this study, and agronomic characters, such as stem diameter. stem length, leaf length, leaf width, petiole length. stem weight, leaf weight, number of leaves, number of leaflets, main root length, root length, root diameter and root weight were determined and correlations among them were estimated. Generally, agronomic characters, such as stem diameter, leaf length, leaf width, number of leaves, number of leaflets, leaf weight and stem weight had positive and highly significant correlations with root weight per plant, the character that has great influence on yield.

Autocorrelation function is widely used as a tool measuring linear dependence of hydrologic time series. However, it may not be appropriate for choosing decorrelation time or delay time ${\tau}_d$ which is essential in nonlinear dynamics domain and the mutual information have recommended for measuring nonlinear dependence of time series. Furthermore, some researchers have suggested that one should not choose a fixed delay time ${\tau}_d$ but, rather, one should choose an appropriate value for the delay time window ${\tau}_d={\tau}(m-1)$, which is the total time spanned by the components of each embedded point for the analysis of chaotic dynamics. Unfortunately, the delay time window cannot be estimated using the autocorrelation function or the mutual information. Basically, the delay time window is the optimal time for independence of time series and the delay time is the first locally optimal time. In this study, we estimate general dependence of hydrologic time series using the C-C method which can estimate both the delay time and the delay time window and the results may give us whether hydrologic time series depends on its linear or nonlinear characteristics which are very important for modeling and forecasting of underlying system.

본 연구는 부착식 PSC 텐던의 긴장력를 비파과적인 방법으로 추정하기 위한 방법을 소개한다. 제안기법은 텐던 정착단 양쪽 단부에 가속도계를 부착하고, 가속도신호의 도달 속도를 계측함으로써 텐던의 긴장력을 추정하는 방법이다. 가속도신호의 도달속도를 산성하기 위하여 신호의 상호상관을 이용하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안기법은 도입장력이 다른 6개의 8m 부착식 PSC 시험체를 통하여 검증되었다.

본 논문에서는 신호의 상호정보 추출에 의한 효율적인 군집화 방법을 제안하였다. 여기서 상호정보는 신호상호간의 상관관계를 나타내는 정보로 군집화를 위한 유사성을 나타내는 척도이다. 특히 적응적 분할을 이용하여 신호의 확률밀도를 계산함으로써 신호 상호간의 종속성을 좀 더 정확하고 빠르게 측정하였다. 제안된 방법을 500개 샘플을 가진 6개의 인위적인 신호군집화에 적용한 결과 정확한 분류성능이 있음을 확인하였다.
