This study aims to empirically investigate how users' online engagement behaviors predict their uses of paid contents. To this end, the data from the 2016 Korean Media Panel Survey, which has been conducted annually by the Korea Information Society Development Institute(KISDI), were analyzed. Major findings(N=8.313) were as follows. First, the active type of online engagement(e.g., posting, commenting), which contributes to direct creation of online contents, was the most powerful predictor to explain the DV. On the other hand, relatively passive actions of user engagement(e.g., sharing, endorsing, voting) turned out to have no significant effects on the uses of paid contents, just as personality traits and online privacy concerns did. Based on these results, it is recommended that online contents or platform service providers should try to establish clearly-targeted marketing strategies, after thoroughly collecting and analyzing the data of users' various online behaviors.
A counterfeit product is a product that pretends to be a genuine product by pretending to be false. It can also be called a counterfeit product. This study attempts to investigate how such illegal floods of counterfeit goods affect online shopping consumers. In addition, the accessibility of various product reviews on the internet is increasing, and the product reviews are divided into positive and negative reviews, affecting the information that the customer has already, and the influence of the information acceptance on the purchase intention depending on the product involvement Respectively. Therefore, the focus of this study was to examine whether the information presentation about counterfeit products affects consumers' purchase intention, review direction (positive / negative), and involvement (high / low) control the information about counterfeit products. Therefore, this study has shown that it provides a marketing strategy to increase the intention to purchase products and products in online companies and stores in a situation where information about counterfeits is exposed to online consumers in China market.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of consumer knowledge and involvement of apparel products on information processing style. The subjects of this study were female adults who lived in Seoul, Kyunggi or Incheon areas and Quota sampling using age and residential areas was employed. The data were obtained from 603 questionnaires. Data were statistically analyzed using SPSS 10 and LISREL 7.0. Major statistical methods were factor analysis, Cronbach's a coefficient, multiple regression analysis, and structural equation model analysis. The results were as follows: 1. Consumer knowledge significantly influenced information processing styles. Rational processing style was significantly influenced by objective knowledge, while experiential processing style was significantly influenced by subjective knowledge. 2. Involvement was related to the subjective knowledge more than objective knowledge. Consumers who had higher interest, social importance and followed latest fashion trends tended to process information more experientially.
This research has examined the relationship among film interest, clothing involvement, attitude towards ppl, preference for fashion products, and purchasing intention. In april 2014, 210 university students in Seoul and Incheon filled out a survey. Frequency analysis, k-cluster analysis, t-test, anova, duncan's multiple range test, regression, and mediation regression analysis were used to analyze. Students who were more interested in film were higher in clothing involvement. Clothing involvement had larger influence on preference for fashion products and purchasing intention than film interest. Students highly involved in clothing had more positive attitude towards ppl, preference for fashion products and purchasing intentions. Clothing involvement, attitude towards ppl and preference for fashion products directly influenced purchasing intention. The preference for fashion products had the largest influence on purchasing intention. The preference for fashion products and attitude towards ppl had mediation influences between clothing involvement and purchasing intention.
One of the most enduring concepts in the history of marketing thought relates to the classification of consumer goods. The product classification theory first proposed by Copeland(1923) has, with little modification, survived to the present day, and continues to be endorsed by the American Marketing Association and other related institutions some 80 years after it was first published. In truth, Copeland's classification is now outdated and bears little, if any, relevance to modern product advertising, retailing and consumption. In particular, it can not accommodate the fact that, in modern societies, consumer preoccupations with style, personal identity and status have meant that the social characteristics of goods, heavily promoted by brand managers who understand their markets, are key determinants of consumer choice and buyer behavior. In this respect, the author attempted to explore the reasons why product classification theory has been unresponsive to changes in market conditions over so many years and argue that its failure to embrace the many social influences on consumption and on consumer behavior is now its most serious weakness. And also, the author proposed the new categorization system of goods, based on the several existing literatures.
Medical tourism which is considered a new growth engine of the 21th century has been rapidly developing in the both quantity and quality. However, medical tourism products offered by our country are not enough to be differentiated according to the need of medical tourists. This study tried to search for the solutions in the medical tourism attributes. This confirmed whether the involvement of Hallyu(Korean wave) which has been growing steadily since 2000 affects medical tourism or not. For these purposes, there were 5 hypotheses set and empirical analysis was conducted through a survey. SPSS 20.0 statistical program was used for the empirical analysis and the established hypotheses were all adopted as a result of verification. It was thus confirmed that the involvement of Hanrye affected medical tourism attributes, satisfaction and behavioral intentions. Also, medical tourism attributes affected satisfaction and behavioral intentions.

With the development of mobile technology, asset management on the Internet have also developed a lot. Drawing on Technology Acceptance Model, this study examines YUEBAO deployment to model consumers' purchase intention to use financial products offered online. In this study, we hypothesized that the characteristics of online asset management product will affect the purchase intention through perceived usefulness and conduct empirical analysis on Chinese consumers. In the study model, the independent variables were considered to include individual involvement, experience, product protection, corporate credibility, convenience, mobility, and familiarity. In addition, the parameters constitute the usefulness, and the dependent variable is the purchase. The results are as follows. First, YUEBAO's complementarity, corporate credibility, convenience, and familiarity have a significant influence on YUEBAO's usefulness. Second, The YUEBAO's usefulness has a noticeable effect on the purchase intention. To perceive the high usefulness, the practicality strategy of enhancing the protection property, corporate reliability, convenience and familiarity of the online asset management product is needed. The study of consumer purchase behavior and consumer purchase intention of online wealth management products is very valuable for academic and practical work.
Individuals often receive smishing campaigns (mobile phishing messages), which they treat as spam. Thus, firms should understand how their customers distinguish their promotion messages from smishing. However, only a few studies examined this important issue. The present study employs the elaboration likelihood model to develop research hypotheses on the relationship between message cue and message credibility. The message cue in this study is classified as content cue, which is found in the content of promotion messages, and as leakage cue, which is found in peripheral information in the message. Leakage cue includes orthography (inclusion of special characters)and an abbreviated link sent by a faithless sender. We also propose that contextualization has a moderating effect on the relationship between content cue and credibility. We conducted a survey experiment to examine the effect of message cues on message credibility in the context of respondents receiving discount coupons through mobile messages. The result of data analysis based on 166 responses suggests that leakage cue had a negative effect on message credibility. A message with defective content cue has a marginally negative effect on message credibility. In particular, defective content cue in a high-contextual message has a strong negative impact on message credibility. This effect was not observed in low-contextual messages. Moreover, message credibility is significantly low regardless of the degree of contextualization if there is a leakage cue in the message. Our findings suggest that mobile promotion messages should be customized for message receivers and should have no leakage cues.
The purpose of this study was to propose a product planning and design direction for smart fitness wear that will improve the impact of personal training based on researching the requirements of smart fitness wear and its acceptance level, as well as the functional demand. The study conducted in-depth interviews with professional fitness trainers and derived five categories and thirteen keywords by analyzing the categorical data analysis using the interview data. In addition, we surveyed general consumers to measure the acceptance level of smart fitness wear and the functional demand for product development. The results revealed that the difference in the acceptance level of smart fitness wear generally depended on the characteristics related to exercise involvement and exercise-related culture rather than on the demographic characteristics. With regard to the difference in the functional demand of smart fitness wear, the results showed that professional trainers focused on the scientific improvement of the effect of exercise while general consumers focused on the function that considers the sustainability of exercise. Based on the results, we proposed product planning and design directions such as 'mounting of heart rate sensing, muscle activity sensing, motion angle or posture sensing, and motion sensing', 'development of concepts and contents for expert line, ordinary line', 'compression wear design', and 'differentiation of product development according to exercise areas'.

Also ten consumption appeals were examined for county and product type. ANOVA, Duncan test and $X^2$ test were applied to analyze data. The results were shown as follows: First, all the cultural characteristics such as individualism-collectivism, power distance, and femininity-masculinity were different among countries. Second, two product appeals were significantly different among countries. Hedonic appeals were dominant fur France and the US while those were not for Korea and Japan. Third, product involvement level had significant impact on power distance characteristic and product appeals. Ads of high involvement fashion goods showed larger power distance and more emotional appeals. In conclusion, global fashion ads should be differentiated in terms of some cultural characteristics and product appeals.
