Most data scrambling schemes generate pure random codes. Unlike these schemes, we propose a variable density scrambling scheme (VDSC) that differentiates densities of generated codes. First, we describe conditions and methods to translate plain codes to cipher codes with different densities. Then we apply the VDSC to flash memory such that preferred cell states occur more than others. To restrain error rate, specifically, the VDSC controls code densities so as to increase the ratio of center state among all possible cell states in flash memory. Scrambling experiments of data in Windows and Linux systems show that the VDSC increases the ratio of cells having near-center states in flash memory.
The flow-density relations represent equilibrium relations between flow and density in the stationary state. Using individual vehicle data this paper proposed a method to 131ter traffic data in the stationary state and showed flow-density relations produced by the traffic data in the stationary state. The Proposed method is based on the idea that free flow and congested flow show totally different traffic behaviors and time series of the traffic data observed at detection stations. The traffic data collected from the stationary state in the free flow using this filtering method consist in the left branch of the flow-density relation and the traffic data collected from the stationary state in the congested flow consist in the right branch of the flow-density relation. The traffic data in the stationary state skew reproducible flow-density relation in the almost whole range of the traffic flow.
This paper proposes the method to select the number of optimal mixtures in each state in Continuous Density HMM (Hidden Markov Models), Previously, researchers used the same number of mixture components in each state of HMM regardless spectral characteristic of speaker, To model each speaker as accurately as possible, we propose to use a different number of mixture components for each state, Selection of mixture components considered the probability value of mixture by each state that affects much parameter estimation of continuous density HMM, Also, we use PCA (principal component analysis) to reduce the correlation and obtain the system' stability when it is reduced the number of mixture components, We experiment it when the proposed method used average 10% small mixture components than the conventional HMM, When experiment result is only applied selection of mixture components, the proposed method could get the similar performance, When we used principal component analysis, the feature vector of the 16 order could get the performance decrease of average 0,35% and the 25 order performance improvement of average 0.65%.

A tensegrity structure consists of a set of continuous cables in tension and a set of discontinuous struts in compression. The tensegrity structure can be classified into self-stressed and pre-stressed pin-jointed structure. A key step in the design of tensegrity structures is the determination of their equilibrium configuration, known as form-finding. In this paper, three effective methods are presented for form-finding of tensegrity structures. After performing form-finding process, a set of force density and corresponding topology results can be obtained. Then the force density method combined with a genetic algorithm is adopted to uniquely define a single integral feasible set of force densities. Numerical examples are presented that demonstrate the excellent performance of the algorithms.

Generally the lower part of the Earth's atmosphere, which is 20km above the ground, is called "air." The composition of this area is almost consistent consisting of nitrogen, oxygen, and other gases. Air density refers to the mass per unit volume of earth atmosphere. Though air is made of the mixed gases in a constant composition, the water vapor is one of the very changeable components. The density of moist air is lower than the dry one at the same temperature and pressure. As the density varies according to the pressure and temperature, this paper attempts to explore the main factors in the air quantity calculation by examining first the density calculation process according to the air property, and second the relation between the actual and standard air flow.

A method that predicts the flying state of the head slider in an optical disk drive (ODD) or a hard disk drive(HDD) was investigated. The dual solver based on the Newton method and the quasi-Newton method have been developed to simulate the steady-state flying conditions. The numerical results show the effectiveness and reliability of this new solver.

Organic semiconductors, in contrast with inorganic semiconductors, have DOS of the Gaussian distribution function which leads to difficulties to obtain the electron density with a closed equation. For this reason, the prediction of the device operation is extremely difficult in the development of OLED and the repetitive trial-and-error is required to find the appropriate electrical and optical properties of the devices. In this paper, the standard to analyze organic semiconductor is proposed by the optimization of the time and the accuracy which is necessary for the numerical calculation of the electron density in organic semiconductors.
