A Study on Korean EFL Collegians' Approach to L2 Writing Based on Metacognition and Affectivity (상위인지와 정서에 기반한 외국어 학습방법에 대한 연구)

  • The present study attempted to identify the metacognitive strategies used by L2 writers at the university level as well as their particular aspects which might influence the use of these strategies. Twenty-seven participants, all of whom were enrolled in an English course, were asked to write an expository essay and then complete a questionnaire which includes their beliefs and attitudes toward L2 writing experience and the metacognitive strategies during the writing process. It was found that even though inexpert writers knew and employed as many strategies as the expert counterparts did, they were unsuccessful in the quality of their texts. Simply possessing a repertoire of metacognitive strategies was not enough for successful L2 writing. The failure of the inexpert writers to apply these metacognitive strategies in an effective manner was influenced by affective factors such as anxiety, self-confidence, self-concept, etc. As a result of this study, a pedagogical implication is suggested.

AHP 기법을 활용한 창업 성장단계별 특허분석 요인 중요도 연구

  • 본 연구에서는 창업 성장단계별 특허분석 요인들의 중요도와 우선순위를 제시하였고, 구체적으로 창업준비기, 창업기, 성장기, 성숙기 창업 성장단계 기준으로 구분하여 가장 먼저 선행되어야 할 특허분석 요인을 AHP기법을 활용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과, 상위요인의 중요도는 창업준비기(.633), 창업기(.231), 성장기/성숙기(0.136) 순으로 나타났다. 상위요인인 창업준비기의 하위요인 중요도는 환경분석(.593), 특허조사(.236), 특허분석(.171) 순으로 분석되었다. 창업기의 하위요인 중요도는 사업화전략(.415), R&D전략(.333), 보완출원전략(.138), 보유특허분석(.114) 순이고, 성장기/성숙기 하위요인 중요도는 후속IP창출(.337), 핵심특허 대응전략(.260), 후속R&D방향제시(.183), 특허인프라구축(.137), 라이센싱(매입)전략(.083) 순으로 나타났다. 전체 복합신뢰도 상위권 중요도 순위로는 1위 환경분석, 2위 특허조사, 3위 특허분석, 4위 사업화전략, 5위 R&D전략, 6위 후속 IP창출 순으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 통해 창업을 준비하는 창업자에게 특허와 관련하여 단계별 집중해야 하는 요인의 중요도와 우선순위를 제시하고 더 생산적이고 효율적인 일들에 집중할 수 있는 가이드가 되기를 바란다.

An Analysis of Differences in Motivation, Self-regulation Strategy use, Learning Style Preference among High, Medium, Low Achievers in an Online Gifted Program (온라인 영재교육 프로그램 성취 수준에 따른 학생의 동기, 자기조절전략, 학습양식 차이 분석)

  • This study examined differences among high, medium, and low achievers' motivation, self-regulation strategy, and learning style in an online gifted program. The sample included 788 middle and high school students who participated in the 3-months online gifted program. Participants volunteerly completed 60 questions on their motivation, self-regulation strategy use, and learning style. Multivariate analysis of variance(MANOVA) was conducted for data analysis using SPSS 19.0. The results of this study showed that (1) as levels of students' achievement increased, levels of intrinsic motivation increased as well; (2) statistically significant differences also existed on the levels of elaboration strategy, effort management, and time management strategy use among three levels of achievement and (3) no significant differences in students' learning style preference were found between competitive or cooperative learning style. To sum up, high achieving students' levels of intrinsic motivation, elaboration strategy, effort management strategy, and time management strategy use were the highest compared to medium and low achieving students.

An Analysis of Metaplay Strategies in Preschoolers′ Social Pretend Play (유아의 가작화 놀이에서 상위놀이전략에 대한 분석 연구)

  • This study examined young children's metaplay. 84 preschool subjects were videotaped as they engaged in pretend play with the same-aged peers. Dyads were identified as engaging in frequent or infrequent pretend play. Results showed that frequent pretend play dyads more engaged in request for clarification, and persuading than infrequent pretend dyads. Frequent pretend dvads were more likely to use disagreeing with reason and extending. It was concluded that developmentally useful interactions transpire outside of the pretend frame.

A Study on the Strategy of Securing the Archival Budget through Qualitative Research Method (기록전문직의 기록관리 사업예산 확보 전략 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore a budget-securing strategy to enable archival professionals in public institutions to continuously secure the budget for records management projects. This study is an analysis of the results of in-depth interviews with 14 archival professionals who have worked for public institutions and secured budgets for records management projects. As a result of the analysis, 4 upper categories and 10 categories are extracted as factors influencing budget securement. The top four categories are the job environment of archival professionals, umbrella organization and organizational culture, business and budget characteristics, and system and social environment. As the budget-securing strategy for archival professionals, a total of 3 categories and 13 strategic codes are derived. The three categories are utilizing individual-centered competencies, establishing organization-centered relationships, and finding external environment-centered triggers. This study emphasized the perspective of archival professionals and suggested implications such as the role of archival professionals and the direction of improvement in securing budgets.

  • 이 연구는 자기조절학습전략 활용 과제기반언어학습을 영어수업에 적용한 후 학업성취도와 영어 학습태도 차원에서 그 효과성을 규명하고자 하였다. 먼저 학습자의 능동적인 학습과정을 도울 수 있는 자기조절학습전략 활용 과제기반언어 교수 학습 모형을 도출하였다. 이어서 초등영어 5학년 정규교육과정운영 틀에서 자기조절학습전략 활용 과제기반언어학습 수업을 설계하고 실제 적용하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 자기조절학습전략 활용 과제기반언어학습은 학업성취 상위, 중위, 하위 집단에 따른 학업성취도 변화에 대한 분석 결과 학업성취 상위집단과 하위집단 간에 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 자기조절학습전략 활용 과제기반언 어학습은 영어에 대한 자아개념, 영어에 대한 태도, 영어에 대한 학습 습관으로 정의된 영어 학습태도의 모든 영역에서 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 자기조절학습전략 활용 과제기반언어학습은 학습자 중심 교육이라는 초등영어교육 추세를 고려할 때 교육현장에 유용하므로 자기조절학습력과 실제적 의사소통능력에 초점을 둔 보다 다양한 교수설계 연구가 요청된다.

A Study on the Aspect of Francophone Korean learners' Use of Listening Strategies (프랑스어권 학습자의 한국어 듣기 전략 사용 양상 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the necessity of research for increasing French language learners and to examine their use of listening strategies according to their proficiency as a basic study for their continuous learning and communication skills. In the case of French language Korean learners, both the beginner and intermediate learners used the upper cognitive strategy most frequently. However, the cognitive strategy, which has been mentioned as a frequently used strategy in previous studies, was found to be the least used in this study. This finding can be attributed to differences in mores and mastery of prior studies and research subjects. The cognitive strategy was lower in both the beginner and intermediate levels, but the level of use increased significantly in the intermediate level compared to the beginner level, showing only statistically significant differences in the usage patterns according to the proficiency level among the four listening strategies.

Types of Cognitive Strategies Related to Children's Creative Problem Solving Skills in Mathematics (아동의 수학 창의적 문제해결력과 관련이 있는 인지전략 유형 분석)

  • Creative problem solving skills in mathematics were measured by fluency, flexibility, and originality; cognitive strategies were measured by rehearsal, elaboration, organization, planning, monitoring, and regulating. The Creative Problem Solving Test in Mathematics developed at the Korea Educational Development Institute(Kim et al., 1997) and the Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire(Pintrich & DeGroot, 1990) were administered to 84 subjects in grade 5(45 girls, 39 boys). Data were analyzed by Pearson's correlation, multiple regression analysis, and canonical correlation analysis. Results indicated that positive regulating predicted total score and fluency, flexibility, and originality scores of creative problem solving skills. Elaboration, rehearsal, organization, regulating, monitoring, and planning positively contributed to the fluency and flexibility scores of creative problem solving skills.

  • 본 논문에서는, 가상 전장 시나리오에서의 방어 전략 시스템에서 지능형 서비스를 구축하기 위한 핵심으로 군 도메인 온톨로지를 구축하고자 한다. 군대에서는 과거와 비교할 수 없는 다양하고 복잡한 데이터가 존재하는 상황에서 그 데이터를 지능적, 효율적으로 처리하기 위한 요구가 대두되고 있다. 이를 해결할 수 있는 방안의 하나로써 정보의 지식화가 있으며, 온톨로지는 도메인에서 개념과 관계를 표현할 수 있는 지식 표현 방법이다. 군 도메인 온톨로지는 추후 도메인 간의 호환성을 위한 상위 온톨로지인 SUMO (Suggested Upper Merged Ontology)를 사용하였고, 상위 온톨로지와 도메인 온톨로지를 연결해주는 중간 레벨 온톨로지인 MILO (Mid-Level Ontology)를 사용하며, 온톨로지 표현 언어로 SUO-KIF를 사용하여 개발되었다. 추후 군 도메인 온톨로지는 멀티에이전트 기반 방어 전략 시스템이 돌아가는 Cougaar Framework에서 사용될 수 있도록 고려되었다.
