Effect of Carbonization Temperature on the Surface Temperature of Carbonized Board (탄화온도가 탄화보드의 표면온도에 미치는 영향)

  • For new use development of carbonized board, we investigated the effect of carbonization temperature on the surface temperature of carbonized board manufactured from a plywood, particle board, MDF, and wood of Fraxinus rhynchophylla at different carbonization temperature ($400^{\circ}C{\sim}1100^{\circ}C$). The surface temperature of carbonized board precipitously increased until 12 minutes elapsed, after smoothly increased and thereafter which were stable after 20 minutes. The higher carbonization temperature increased density of carbonized board and surface temperature of carbonized board so that density is considered to influence surface temperature change. Moreover, carbonized boards kept heat for a long time because the descent velocity of carbonized boards' surface temperature was slower than that of heater's.

A Study on the Timing Recovery using Peak Detector in Underwater Acoustic Communication (수중음향통신에서 Peak Detector를 갖는 시간동기회복에 관한 연구)

  • This paper presents a timing recovery method using Gardner TED (Timing Error Detector) with a Peak Detector using Parabola Peak Interpolation in underwater acoustic communication. This method will have an eye to improve phase converge speed of timing recovery and reduced amount of Tx data. The OQPSK(Offset Quadrature Phase Shift Keying) modulation technique was considered. The proposed algorithm has faster recovery speed and more accurate than Gardner TED because the sampling values in the proposed algorithm are moved persistingly to maximum or minimum point using parabolic peak interpolation. when simulation performed using Preposed method, it improved BER (Bit Error Rate) performance about 23% And to evaluate the performances of the proposed algorithm the sea trial was performed in the Korean East Sea. And distance of a transmitter-receiver is 3 km each other. As a result, the proposed algorithm outperforms better BER performance about 20% of timing recovery than the Gardner method. Also Proposed method improved converge speed of timing recovery about 1.4 times better than Gardner method.

Effect of Hydration Condition of Non-Muscle Protein on Gelling (비근육 단백질의 수화조건이 겔 형성에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was investigated the changes of gel properties about pH, color and water holding capacity at various hydration time and temperature of food-grade additives (BPP: bovine plasma protein, DEW: dried egg white, SPI: soy protein isolate). The changes of rheological properties were checked about hydration time and temperature. Hydration time and temperature affected pH value, hydration decreased pH of SPI and DEW. The BPP was not influenced at hydration time and temperature. Some Hydration condition increased jelly strength of food-grade additive, but SPI did not form a gel at all hydration condition. Hydration increased lightness of food-protein.

신문용지의 소프트 닙 캘린더링

  • 전적으로 해외기술에 의존하고 있는 소프트 닙 캘린더 피복의 국산화를 위해 시험 제작 된 소프트 닙 캘린더용 연질롤의 캘린더링 효과를 구명하기 위해서 공정 변수에 따른 신문 용지의 물성변화를 평가하였다. 연질 롤로는 (주)광성고무롤에서 시험제작된 경도 90 Shore D의 것을 사용하였으며, 캘린 더링 시의 압력, 가열 롤의 표면온도, 닙 체류 시간, 유입지의 함수율 변화에 따른 신문용지 의 별크, 평활도, 광택도, 인장강도, 인열강도, 불투명도 변화를 조사하였다. 별크는 캘린더링 시 압력, 가열 롤의 표면온도, 닙 체류시간의 증가에 따라 감소하였다. 가열 롤의 표면온도가 높을수록 별크가 크게 감소되었으며, 닙 체류시간이 짧은 경우에는 1 120 226;C 이하에서 캘린더링을 실시하는 것이 별크 유지에 효과적이었다. 평활도는 가열 롤의 표연 온도, 닙 체류시간이 증가함에 따라 개선되었으며, 선압과 함 수율 증가에 의해서도 상승되는 경향을 보였. 인장강도는 유입지의 함수율, 닙 체류시간, 가열 롤의 표면온도가 모두 상승할 경우 증 가하는 결과를 나타내었다. 이는 함수율 증가에 의해 섬유의 유연성이 향상된 상태에서는 칼렌더링 온도와 닙체류 시간 증가에 의한 섬유의 기계적 변형과 열전달에 의한 섬유의 열 변형이 효과적으로 발생하여 섬유간 결합면적이 증가된 결과로 생각되었다. 인열강도는 소프트닙 캘린더링 후 전반적으로 감소하였으나 캘린더링 온도와 닙체류시 간은 인열강도에 미치는 영향은 적은 것으로 나타났다. 소프트 닙 캘린더링 시 발생하는 인 열강도의 저하를 막기 위해서는 닙 체류시간을 짧게 적용하고 섬유의 열변형이 종이의 표변 에서만 일어날 수 있도록 유입지 함수율과 가열롤의 표면온도를 적절히 조절하는 것이 필요 하리라 판단되었다.광택도는 온도와 압력이 증가할수록 증가하였으나, 닙 체류시간에 따라서는 큰 변화를 나타내지 않았으며 120도씨에서는 닙 체류시간의 증가에 따라 광택도가 오히려 감소하기도 하였다. 불투명도는 벌크와 마찬가지로 압력이 높고 가열롤의 표면온도가 높은 경우 낮게 나타 났다 특히 닙 체류시간의 증가에 따라 감소하는 경향을 보였다.보였다.

A minimizing method of baseline wandering using a difference signal in ECG (심전도 차신호를 이용한 기저선 변동의 최소화 방법)

  • This paper studies a method to minimize the baseline wandering that make hard to extract R-wave in ECG. This method uses a difference signal between ECG and ascending slope tracing waves to minimize the baseline wandering. When the slope of ECG signal maintains the value or falls, the ascending slope tracing wave follows ECG signal directly, and this wave holds that value of ECG signal when the slope begins to rises in a certain time(=hold time). After this hold time, this wave traces ECG signal again. This method has been applied to MIT/BIH database to verify its efficacy and validity in practical applications.

  • Some physical properties of Korean red ginseng extract was investigated for their changes during extraction with ethanol solution having a concentration range of 0-90% at $70-100^{\circ}C$ during 5 times of 8 hours extraction. The intrinsic viscosity was ignificantly decreased as the ethanol concentration and measuring temperature increased, while it was affected relatively less by the extraction temperature. However the effect of measuring temperature on the intrinsic viscosity was greatly reduced for the extract obtained with higher than 50% a ethanol. The turbidity and pH were also decreased as the ethanol concentration and extraction time increased.

  • 최근 기후변화로 인해 극한 강우사상의 발생빈도가 증가하고 있으며, 이로 인해 농경지의 침수피해 또한 증가하고 있다. 농경지 침수는 하천의 범람에 의해 발생하기도 하지만, 농경지의 배수능 부족 및 하천의 수위 상승에 따른 배수지연으로 발생하는 경우가 대부분이다. 하지만 기존 연구에서는 농경지 수위와 하천수위 중 하나의 수위를 계산하여 농경지 침수를 모의하고 있으며, 이를 연속적으로 비교하여 농경지의 수위를 계산하는 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 극한강우 발생에 따른 시간별 하천 수위를 모의하고, 농경지 수위와의 연속적인 비교를 통해 하천 수위 상승에 따른 배수지연을 고려한 농경지 침수 모의를 수행하고자 한다. 하천 수위는 HEC-RAS의 1차원 부정류 해석을 통해 산정하였으며, 농경지의 경우 논 구획지구를 하나의 물꼬를 가지는 단일포장으로 가정하여 수위를 계산하였다. 농경지의 배수량은 배수로 설계기준에 의한 배수능과 논의 저류효과 등을 고려하여 위어공식을 이용해 계산하였으며, 시간별 하천 및 농경지 수위의 연속적인 비교를 통해 하천의 수위가 농경지 수위 이상으로 상승한 경우 배수가 발생하지 않도록 제한하여 최종 농경지 수위를 산정하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 기법은 농경지 수위 예측의 정확성을 높이는데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 사료되며, 향후 농경지 배수개선사업을 위한 사전 평가 및 계획 수립 등에 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

A Prosodic Study of Korean Using a Large Database (대용량 데이터베이스를 이용한 한국어 운율 특성에 관한 연구)

  • This study investigates the prosodic characteristics of Korean through the analysis of a large database. One female and one male speakers each read 650 sentences and they were segmentally and prosodically labeled. Statistical analyses were done on these utterances regarding the tonal pattern and the size of prosodic units, correlation between the size of higher level prosodic units and the number of lower level prosodic units. and the slope and F0 of the falling and rising contours of an accentual phrase. The results showed that the duration and the number of words and syllables of a prosodic unit were significantly different not only between speakers but also between its positions within a higher level prosodic nit. The munber of a prosodic unit showed a high correlation with the duration and the number of syllables of its higher level units. The slope of the falling contour within an accentual phrase was inversely Proportional to the number of its syllables. The slope was different depending on the first tone type of an accentual phrase, which could be explained with the F0 rising and the different amount of rising between tones when an accentual phrase starts with an H tone. The slope of the falling contour across an accentual phrase boundary showed a constant and larger value compared to one within an accentual phrase. The rising contours in the beginning and end of an accentual Phrase were similar in their slopes but they differ in the amount of F0 change : the former showed a larger amount of change. The slope of the rising contour which forms an accentual Phrase on its own was inversely Proportional to the number of its syllables.

  • In case of reducing working time, it is difficult that the construction industry is analyzed far-reaching effects caused by a reduction of working time, by approaching with just the total amount of work. Because it has the properties such as the singularity, the outdoor using, a sense of the season unlike other industries. In order to analyze the effect of a reduction of working time on the construction industry, the example of a reduction of working time in domestic other industries related with it was analyzed intensively first. And an example in Japan, which is similar to our existing related laws and industrial structure among foreign construction industries was analyzed, and a relation with the domestic construction industries and an issue were drown a conclusion. This was applied to a field worker and a related main group participating in a real production. And it showed the prediction model for a working pattern and a dealing plan to prepare in a construction site by predicting a working pattern in the management side of a construction site annually.

  • We investigate the effect of rise time of a pulse bias voltage on atmospheric plasma generation. With the faster rise time of the pulse bias, the glow discharge appears to be more uniformly generated along the electrodes. I-V measurement confirms that higher loading power can be obtained using the faster rise time. A new understanding for atmospheric plasma generation at a micro-gap electrode is suggested.
