A Study on Auto Mesh Generation for Microwave Compoment Analysis (초고주파소자 해석을 위한 자동요소생성에 관한 연구)

  • 본 논문에서는 유한요소를 자동으로 생성하는 프로그램을 구현하였다. Delaunay 삼각화이론을 적용하여 요소를 생성하였고 요소의 생성 속도를 개선하기 위해서 로손(Laswson)의 찾기 알고리즘을 적용하였다. 요소의 형상을 개선하고자 절점들을 효과적으로 배치하고 분할 한 후에 라플라스 조정을 통해 등변에 가까운 요소로 생성하였다. 본 논문에서 제시한 알고리즘의 검증을 위해 박막층을 가진 초고주파 소자를 선택하여 요소의 형상과 생성과정에서 검색회수를 비교하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 수 만개이상의 미지수를 필요로 하는 복잡한 3차원 구조에서의 정전용량 추출을 위한 고속화 알고리즘(Fast mutilpole method)과 결합한 효과적인 적응 삼각요소 분할법(Adaptive triangular mesh refinement algorithm)을 제안하였다. 요소세분화과정은 초기요소로 전하의 분포를 구하고, 전하밀도가 높은 영역에서의 요소세분화를 수행하여 이루어진다. 제안된 방법을 이용하여 많은 미지수를 필요로 하는 IC packaging 구조에서의 정전용량을 추출하였다.

Development of Delaunay Triangulation Algorithm Using Subdivision (분할 Delaunay 삼각화 알고리즘 개발)

  • Delaunay triangulation is well balanced in the sense that the triangles tend toward equiangularity. And so, Delaunay triangulation hasn't some slivers triangle. It's commonly used in various field of CAD applications, such as reverse engineering, shape reconstruction, solid modeling and volume rendering. For Example, In this paper, an improved Delaunay triangulation is proposed in 2-dimensions. The suggested algorithm subdivides a uniform grids into sub-quad grids, and so efficient where points are nonuniform distribution. To get the mate from quad-subdivision algorithm, the area where triangulation-patch will be most likely created should be searched first.

  • 본 논문에서는 3D 파노라믹 가상 환경 생성을 위한 투영기반 메쉬 모델 생성 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 메쉬 모델 생성 기법은 멀티뷰 카메라를 이용해 다수의 시점에서 얻은 실내 환경의 3D 데이터로부터 메쉬 모델을 생성한다. 먼저 미리 보정된 카메라 파라미터를 이용해 입력된 임의의 3D점 데이터를 여러 개의 하위 점군으로 분할한다. 적응적 샘플링을 통해 각 하위 점군으로부터 중복되는 점 데이터를 없애고 새로운 점군을 생성한다. 각각의 하위 점군을 Delaunay삼각화 방법을 통해 메쉬 모델링하고, 인접한 하위 점군의 메쉬들을 통합하여 하나의 메쉬 모델을 생성한다. 제안된 메쉬 모델링 방법은 점군의 분할을 통해 각 부분의 메쉬 모델을 독립적으로 생성하므로 실내 환경과 같은 넓은 영역의 모델링에 알맞다. 또한, 적응적 샘플링을 통해 3D 데이터가 갖는 깊이 정보의 특징을 보존하면서 메쉬 데이터의 크기를 줄인다. 생성된 가상 환경 모델은 가상/증강현실 응용 어플리케이션 등에 적용이 가능하다.

  • 스트레스 심전계에서 발생되는 근잡음을 제거하기 위하여 wavelet interpolation filter(WIF)를 설계하였다. WIF는 크게 웨이브렛 변환부와 보간법 적용부로 구성되어 있다. 웨이브렛 변환부는 Haar 웨이브렛을 이용하였으며 심전도 저주파 영역과 고주파 영역으로 분할하는 과정이다. 보간법 적용부에서는 분할되어진 신호 중 A3을 선택하여 신호의 재생 성능을 향상시키기 위하여 보간법을 적용하였다. WIF의 성능을 평가하기 위해서 신호대 잡음비, 재생신호 자승오차 및 표준편차의 파라미터를 이용하였다. 본 실험에서는 MIT/BIH 부정맥 데이터베이스, European ST-T 데이터베이스 및 삼각파형을 이용하여 성능 파라미터를 측정하였다. 결과적으로 WIF는 성능 파라미터에서 기존에 많이 사용되고 있는 평균값 필터, 중간값 필터 및 hard thresholding 방법에 비해 우수함을 알 수 있었다.

  • The more accurate numerical analysis is needed, The more important to arrange nodes and elements properly on the structures wanted to be analyzed. In this study, automatic mesh generation method is developed for triangular mesh modeling in wind tower and substructure formed in circular sections especially, which have structural and economical benefits in shallow water area. It can consider variety conditions by inputting the detail data such as height and types. Also, this study includes the comparison and verification with the mesh generation by Delaunay triangular technique on 3 dimensional space and the examples of mesh generation for proposed tower and substructure. The result of this study will be widely applied to analyze the existing and proposed models for wind turbines.

A Construction of the Multistep Optimal Three-Dimensional Finite Elements for the Mandible Structure Analysis (하악 구조체 분석을 위한 다단계 최적 3 차원 유한 요소 형성)

  • For the medical analysis of the three-dimensional structure such as the mandible, it is necessary to reconstruct the structure into the finite number of analyzable elements. The information of the three-dimensional structure can be obtained from the cross-sections of the magnetic resonance image (MRI). A region corresponding to the structure is extracted from the inner part of the cross- section. By the triangulation of the sampled cross-section image, two-dimensional finite elements are generated. Three-dimensional finite elements are constructed by matching the two dimensional finite elements each other in space. In this paper a construction method of the optimal three-dimensional finite elements has been suggested, which uses the adjacent information abstracted from the triangulated two-dimensional finite elements. The elements are classified into the identical property sets by using the adjacent information of the traingulated two-dimensional elements. After applying the multistep matching algorithm to the classified two-dimensional finite elements, the optimal three-dimensional finite elements can be construccted. By analyzing the constructed finite elements, it is possible to get much more useful medical information about the three-dimensional struture of mandible.

  • One of the most difficult problems in building a distributed GIS lies in the heterogeneity of spatial databases. In particular, positional mismatches between spatial databases, which arise due to several reasons, may incur incorrect query results. They result in unreliable outputs of query processing. One simple solution is to correct positional data in spatial databases at each site, according to the most accurate one. This solution is however not practical in cases where the autonomy of each database should be respected. In this paper, we propose a spatial query processing method without correcting positional data in each spatial database. Instead of correcting positional data, we dynamically transform a given query region or position onto each space where spatial objects of each site are located. Our proposed method is based on an elastic transformation method by using delaunay triangulation. Accuracy of this method is proved mathematically, and is confirmed by an experiment. Moreover, we implemented using common use database system for usefulness verification of this method.

Automatic Extraction of Major Object in the Image based on Image Composition (영상구도에 근거한 영상내의 주요객체 자동추출 기법)

  • A new algorithm for automatic extraction of interesting objects is proposed in this paper. The proposed algorithm can be summarized in two steps. First, segmentation of color image that split interesting objects and backgrounds is performed. According to the research stating, 'Humans perceive things by contracting color into three to four essential colors,' a color image is segmented into three regions utilizing k-mean algorithm, followed by annexing the regions when the similarities of them exceeds the critical value based on the calculation of degrees in the histogram similarity, Second, identifying the interesting objects out of the segmented image, partitioned by the image composition theory, is performed. To have a good picture, it is important to adjust positions of interesting objects according to picture composition. Extracting objects is a retro-deduction process using a weighted mask designed upon the triangular composition of picture. To prove the quality of the proposed method, experiments are performed over four hundreds images as well as comparison with recently proposed KMCC and GBIS methods.
