A Measurement and Analysis for the Discharge Calibration of the Skew Bridge (사교에서의 유량측정치보정을 위한 실측 및 분석)

  • 하천유량측정은 불가피하게 사교형태의 교량에서 측정을 해야하는 경우가 적지 않다. 이러한 교량에서의 유량측정은 수위-단면적이 과대산정되어 유량 역시 크게 산정되므로 이에 대한 보정을 필요로 한다. 본 연구에서는 왕숙천에 위치한 퇴계원 수위관측소 하류 400m 위치에서의 도섭법을 통한 횡단면 측선각도 변화에 따른 유량차의 비교와 오산천에 위치한 약 $45^{\circ}$ 사교(탑동대교)의 탑동 수위관측소 위치의 교량법을 이용한 유량측정 성과, 한탄강에 위치한 약 $15^{\circ}$ 사교(한탄대교)의 전곡 수위관측소 상류 1km에 위치한 한탄대교에서의 교량법 측정 성과에 따른 유량차를 비교 분석하였다. 한강유역 왕숙천, 오산천, 한탄강에 위치한 퇴계원 지점, 탑동 지점, 전곡 지점에서 실시간 수위에 따른 유속을 측정하였으며, 퇴계원 지점에서는 횡단면에 직각인 측선을 기준 값으로 제시하고, 횡단방향각의 정도를 $10^{\circ}$, $30^{\circ}$, $50^{\circ}$으로 늘려 산정을 하였고, 탑동과 전곡 지점에서는 사교에서의 횡단각을 측정하여 사교의 각을 산정한 후 보정 전 후의 유량 값을 비교 분석하였다. 측정에 사용된 기기는 Price AA 유속계이고, 측정방법은 도섭법과 교량법을 적용하였다. 그 결과 직각인 측선에서 측정한 유량보다 사교형태에서 측정한 유량이 크게 산정되었다. 각 지점의 보정전 후 유량비는 탑동 지점 약 41.42%, 전곡 지점 약 3.53%로 산정되어 $15^{\circ}$ 사교의 전곡 지점에 비해 $45^{\circ}$ 사교의 탑동 지점의 보정전 후 유량차이가 크게 나타남에 따라 각이 클수록 유량 역시 과대하게 산정됨을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 유량측정을 실시할 경우 유량의 흐름방향을 기준으로 직각의 유량측정을 실시하여 유량을 산정하되 부득이한 경우로 사교에서의 측정이 이루어졌을시 흐름 방향을 기준으로 각도를 측정하여 크게 나타나는 수위-단면적에 각보정하여 유량을 산정함이 오차를 줄일 수 있으며, 신뢰성 있는 유량자료 생산의 방법이라 할 수 있겠다.

The Study of the Fitness on Calculation of the Flood Warning Trigger Rainfall Using GIS and GCUH (GIS와 GCUH를 이용한 돌발홍수 기준우량 산정의 타당성 검토 연구)

  • Using geomorphoclimatic unit hydrograph(GCUH), we estimated the fitness to calculate the mountainous area discharge and flash flood trigger rainfall(FFTR). First, we compared the GCUH peak discharge with the existing report using the design storm at the Dukcheon basin. Second, we compared the HEC-HMS(Hydrologic Engineering Center-Hydrologic Modeling System) model and GCUH with the observed discharge using the real rainfall events at the Taesu stage gage. Third, GCUH and NRCS(Natural Resources Conservation Service) were used for calculating FFTR and proper calculation method was shown. At the Dukcheon basin, the comparison result of using design storm was shown in Table 11, and it was not in excess of 1.1, except for the 30 year return period. In case of real rainfall events, the result was shown in Table 12, and GCUH discharges were all larger than the HEC-HMS model discharges, and they were very similar to the observed data at the Taesu stage gage. In this study, we found that GCUH was a very proper method in the calculation of mountainous discharge. At the Dukcheon basin, FFTR was 12.96 mm in the first 10 minutes when the threshold discharge was 95.59 $m^3$/sec.

The Improvement of Tunnel Construction Cost Standards Considering the Site Conditions in Korea (현장실태를 고려한 국내 터널공사 공사비산정기준 개선)

  • Tunnel construction is an important part of Korean public construction projects. Although the development of various equipment and technologies has led to advances in tunnel construction methods that are implemented on sites, the cost standards related to such works do not yet reflect the realities of the construction sites. A literature review and site surveys were conducted to suggest reasonable cost standards for tunnel work that reflects the realities of the field. First, each item in the cost standards for tunnel work, as established in the Construction Standard Production Rates, were analyzed. The results were compared with the actual costs implemented on tunnel projects. The key items analyzed included those regarding the work cycle time, such as rock classification, profiling survey, drilling speed, and muck-disposal processing equipment combination, as well as the number of people put to tunneling work. Based on the site survey results, improved estimates regarding the cycle time per one tunnel drilling blast, drilling speed of the machine, muck disposal processing equipment combination, and the number of people put to tunneling work were suggested. This study suggests the cost standards that reflect the realities of tunneling sites. The results are expected to help ensure adequate costs for tunnel construction projects.

Estimation of Disaster Prevention Target Rainfall according to Urban Disaster Prevention Performance (도시방재성능에 따른 방재성능목표 강우량 산정 연구)

  • The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) presented the disaster prevention performance target rainfall (DPPTR) for disaster prevention. The estimation criteria for DPPTR is a 10 year cycle. On the other hand, the target rainfall recalculated every 10 years is difficult to reflect the current change in rainfall on climate change. In this study, the probability of precipitation using the recent rainfall data was prepared and the weights according to socio-economic criteria reflecting the urban characteristics and adjusted probability rainfall criteria were applied to the results. The difference between the existing target rainfall and recalculated result was compared. The input data for the estimated probability rainfall was selected from 6 points located in the rainfall observing station of Chungcheongnam-do, Daejeon region. As a result of the estimation, in the case of upward probability precipitation weight, some similar areas were observed. On the other hand, there were a few cases of upward or downward changes within 10 mm. Considering the rainfall variability and uncertainty due to climate change, the existing target rainfall does not present the condition properly. Therefore, hydrological designers need to calculate the target rainfall, reflecting the present condition.

A study on the effects of exhaust emission standards on the required ventilation rate in vehicle tunnels (차량 배출가스 규제기준이 소요환기량에 미치는 연구)

  • The amount of ventilation required in making the tunnel ventilation plan is an important factor for determining the capacity of the ventilation system. The amount of pollutant emission for each type of vehicle (basic emission amount for the design of ventilation volume) for estimating the required ventilation amount is based on the 'Standard for Allowing the Emission for the car manufacturing', proposed by Ministry of Environment. However, in 2013, the Ministry of Environment announced the 'Regulations on the calculation method of total emissions from vehicles' as a regulation for calculating the pollutants emitted from vehicles. In this regulation, there are the 'Emission factors for each type of vehicle'. Therefore, it is necessary to review the application of the Regulation to the estimation of the required ventilation volume for the road tunnel. In this study, the influence of the strengthened emission regulation in 2015 caused by the case of manipulation of emission volume for the diesel vehicle on the calculation of the required ventilation volume in the road tunnel has been checked. In addition, in this study, the required ventilation volume calculated according to the Standard for Allowing the Emission for the car manufacturing revised by Ministry of Environment and "Emission factors for each type of vehicle" and that calculated according to the EURO emission standard were compared for analysis. This study has implications that it provides the basic design data for calculating the reasonable ventilation capacity of the ventilation system based on the ground for calculating the required ventilation volume.

  • Although a rate of car accident death is on the decrease, internal rate of median encroachment accident is still high. In order to reduce the median encroachment accident, government use median barriers but there are no exact criteria of them. Particularly, current impulse measurement method has adopted the uniformly operating speed and encroachment angle. At reality, however, there are various conditions depends on driver's characters. In that reason, this study calculates reasonable impulse quantity through encroachment angle and operating speed. It will be necessary to prevent overuse treasury and car accidents.

  • 원가계산체계의 문제점을 개선하기 위하여 원가계산기준의 심의.적용건의.유권해석을 위한 원가계산기준 심의 기구 설립과 관련규정의 원가인정범위 확대를 위한 법규 및 실무규칙 개정이 필수적이다. 전통적 원계산시스템을 보완할 새로운 원가계산시스템의 수용 미 개발, 정교한 원가시스템 측정에 의한 원가인정, 방산업체의 경영환경 변화에 능동적으로 대처할 수 있고 간접비의 비중 증가의 수용을 고려한 원가보상 개념의 정립과 합리적인 배분기준에 의한 제비율 산정이 개선되어야 한다. 신규 및 첨단무기체계의 투자기회 부여와 업체의 노력에 대한 성과를 반영하고 경쟁확대 측면에서 확정계약의 유인을 위한 차등 이윤적용에 따른 현실적인 이윤산정체계의 개선이 이루어져야 한다.

An Examination of the Minimum Reinforcement Ratio for Reinforced Concrete Flexural Members (철근콘크리트 휨부재의 최소철근비에 대한 고찰)

  • The minimum reinforcement ratio is an important design factor to prevent a brittle failure in RC flexural members. A minimum reinforcement ratio is presented by assuming an effective depth of cross-section and moment arm lever in CDC and KHBDC. In this study, it suggests that a rational method for minimum reinforcement ratio is calculated by material model and force equilibrium. As results, a minimum reinforcement ratio using a p-r curve in KHBDC is evaluated about 52~80% of recent design code's value and it induces an economical design. And also, a ductility capacity in case of placing this minimum reinforcement amount is evaluated about 89% of recent design code's value, but ductility in a member is 7 or more, so it has a sufficient ductility capacity. Therefore, it is judged that a minimum reinforcement ratio using p-r curve has a theoretical rationality, safety and economy in a flexural member design.

Geoid Height Estimation Using Rail-road Reference Points (철도기준점을 활용한 지오이드고의 추정)

  • This paper evaluated applicability of railroad reference points for determinating geoid heights. For this research, reference points on the Honam express raildroad which contain ellipsoid heights estimated by GPS/Leveling and orthometric heights by leveling were used. Geoid heights were calculated uisng orthometric and ellipsoid heights of 360 railroad reference points, and the RMSE's with respect to different intervals of reference points were analysed which were induced by interpolation methods. The results showed that no significant difference of RMSE's among interpolation. methods. RMSE's of 0-4km interval of reference points were determined within 2cm and 5-8km were within 3cm. Also, this research confirmed that GPS leveling with Geoid model is not auurate enough to be used for railroad surveying as yet.

Determining Level-of-Service Criteria of Headway Adherence (버스 운행 정시성의 서비스수준 기준산정)

  • In case of public transit such as bus system, the probability concept is used to evaluate the Level-of-Service of the operations. And each levels could be classified according to the linear probability value. (TCQSM: Transit Capacity and Quality of Service Manual-2nd Edition, TRB, Washington DC., 2003) In this case, the drivers or passengers wouldn't think that the service level isn't equivalent to the linear probability value. Thus the linear probability value doesn't exactly reflect the service level. This study shows the problems of using the linear probability value in classifying the service level through the case of evaluation of bus operation's punctuality, presented in TCQSM. To make up for the problems of such case, two methodologies are presented in this study. The method of determining Level-of-Service criteria using probability density of headway variation's distribution, presented in this paper, adequately reflects passenger's expected waiting time. According to the application result to real bus operation data, it tis better than the method of TCQSM to evaluate the reliability of bus operations. However further research about the relations between utility difference and passenger feeling of service level in necessary to apply the method that uses the utility function. It remains as the limitation of this paper.
