Improvement Program of Osan College Students' Vocational Basic Ability (오산대학 재학생의 직업기초역량 향상을 위한 방안)

  • 본 연구는 산업체 임직원 및 오산대학 교수들이 학생들에게 우선 요구하는 직업기초역량이 무엇이고, 우리나라 대학들에서는 이러한 직업기초역량을 향상시키기 위해 어떤 노력을 기울이고 있는지를 파악하여, 향후 오산대학 재학생의 직업기초역량 향상 방안을 모색, 이를 대학의 정책에 반영하고자 수행되었다. 이를 위해 정승환(2005)이 개발한 직업기초능력 진단지를 연구의 목적에 맞게 수정하여 각 학과에 협조문과 함께 배포하여 이를 회수하였다. 그리하여 설문에 응한 총 292명의 산업체 임직원 및 51명의 교수들 자료를 최종 분석하였다. 한편, 우리나라 대학들에서 재학생의 직업기초역량 향상을 위해 어떤 노력을 하고 있는지를 문헌 등을 통해 분석하였다. 조사결과, 첫째, 각 직업기초역량별 하위 항목들에 대한 중요도 대비 현재수준을 통해 개발이 요구되는 직업기초역량을 산업체 임직원들의 담당업무별로 알아본 결과, 사무 관리직은 '자기개발 관리능력', '문제해결능력', 그리고 영업서비스직은 '문제해결능력', '자기개발 관리능력'을, 기술 생산직도 '문제해결능력', '자기개발 관리능력'을 기타 업무의 경우도 '문제해결능력', '자기개발 관리능력'을 부족한 역량으로 꼽았다. 둘째, 교수들이 속한 학과의 계열별로 볼 때, 공학계열은 '기획능력', '자기개발 관리능력', '문제해결능력', '비즈니스 예절'을 그리고 인문사회계열은 '자기개발 관리능력', '기획능력', '문제해결능력', '비즈니스예절', '직업윤리'를, 기타 계열은 '문제해결능력', '기획능력', '직업윤리', 자기개발 관리능력', '정보능력'의 순으로 부족한 역량으로 꼽았다. 이상의 결과를 토대로 오산대학 각 계열 재학생들에게 우선 요구되는 직업기초역량 둥에 대해 논의하였다.

  • 시스템 엔지니어링은 현대사회에서 성공적인 프로젝트의 실현을 가능케 하는 하나의 개발 방법론으로 선진국에서는 정부, 공공기관, 방위산업체, 민수산업체 등에서 도입하여 시스템 개발 프로젝트를 전수명주기에 걸쳐 효율적이고 체계적으로 관리하고 있다. 시스템 검증 및 확인 프로세스는 시스템 엔지니어링의 핵심 요소 중의 하나로서 고객이 요구하는 시스템 요구사항들이 프로젝트 전수명주기에 걸쳐 올바르게 충족이 되었는가를 입증하고 확인하는 일련의 활동으로 구성된다. 본 논문에서는 국외의 연구 사례들을 조사하여 이러한 검증 및 확인 활동의 독립성이 시스템 개발 사업에 어떠한 긍정적인 효과를 발생시키는지를 분석하였다.

  • This paper reviews cases of leadership training program of United States of America University. Also it proposes guideline of coaching program for domestic Christian students. In according to the needs of industry, it enforces a various case analysis in center of purpose and contents of leadership training and propose coaching program case in the Korean 'B'University(IT major). This paper analysis the detailed elements, which is not reflected in Korean leadership training. The proposed paper has a view in an index of main application for elements analysis of leadership training in industry and Korean university.

A Study on the Information Services of SciTech Libraries to industries in Korea (과학기술분야 전문도서관의 산업체 정보지원체제에 관한 연구)

  • This study was carried out to analyze different types of information services to industries, provided by the Technical Information Department of government-supported research institutes. Today, demands on information of new technology have been rapidly increased with the expansion of information mind in enterprises. Managers, specially in profit organizations, are hunting for the technological information since they recognize that acquisition of information is directly connected with the success of business and technological innovation. However, it is not easy for them to get appropriate information due to such factors as competition, information blocking among profit organizations, shortage of holding library, etc. The roles of SciTech libraries can be divided into two parts; the first one is to promote information exchange among organizations, and the second one to supply users with proper information, processed and analyzed by the specialists. In this study, fifteen Technical Information Department of government-supported research institutes are surveyed to investigate their information services to industries. The results of survey show that their services are not enough to support industries successfully.

  • Following the technology developments of traffic network and communication for the wide area, the importance of the cooperation system to vitalize the wide area economy is increasing. Therefore, in this study, DongNam Kwon industry information system is established for the industrial information sharing based on GIS in the DongNam Kwon wide area economy. The DongNam Kwon is an industrial integration area centered with the manufacturing so that the operation of effective industrial cluster and cooperation systems are required across the administrational boundaries. To establish the database of the information, the information system was established utilizing already established industrial databases in Busan, Ulsan and Gyeongnam. But, various issues caused by the discordances among the data of each local government and the insufficiency of GIS based location information have been found. According to the analysis, the standardization considering the courses of collection, distributions and utilization are required immediately to solve the issues. This study establishes an 2-way industrial information system enabling the information creation and the phased approach between the administrator and the user in the bi-directions on the web by utilizing cadastral and numerical maps. The result of this study would have a meaning in providing a fundamental frame for cooperative responses and cooperation system for DongNam Kwon's industrial promotion using industrial information sharing.

Differences in Perception of Information Security Knowledge and Skills Between Academia and Industry (정보보호 전문인력의 소요 지식 및 기술에 대한 산업체와 교육기관의 관점 비교)

  • With increasing interest in information security, many studies have been conducted on cultivation and management of information security manpower. The widespread application of information security made the activity of information security professionals more diverse. Therefore, it is essential to analyze the knowledge and skills that are necessary for information security professionals to carry out their job and we also need to take these into considerations for the development and operation of education programs. In this study, for analyzing the perception gaps of information security knowledge and skills level between academia and industry, we have derived 58 knowledge and skills by conducting the literature review and Delphi method and we also conducted a survey of information security knowledge and skills requirements for information security professionals who are now working in industries and educational organizations. As a result, we analyze the perception gaps between two groups of information security professionals and suggest some guidelines for establishing the demand-based curriculum for training information security professionals.

Needs Analysis and Recognition of Classroom Operation of Nursing Teacher in Vocational High School (특성화고 간호과 교사들의 수업운영에 대한 인식 및 요구분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine how the nursing teacher in vocational high school operates the class and examine various perceptions about the operation education. Moreover, This is to comparing the difference between nursing experience and education major about the operation the class. Based on the above findings, First, the nursing teacher should be recognized as a professional subject teacher and should have a qualification system that is appropriate as a professional subject teacher. Second, a formal education program should be established so that those who worked in the nursing field can become teachers of nursing education. It is recommended that nursing education within the graduate school of education be newly established and operated only for nursing graduates who are majored in the same country as developed countries. Third, if the establishment of qualifications and qualifications system can not be realized in a short time, it is necessary to systematically prepare the training for specialization nursing teachers only.

  • The goal of this study lies in analyzing the realities of the educational courses in the colleges of environment-related science and engineering and proposing plans for their improvement. In this regard, curriculums of each college were analyzed and the subsequent problems and implications were drawn out. In addition, it is suggested that the courses be directed toward job site-centered reform through conducting job analysis with experts in the environmental industry, serving new courses demanded by industries in practice and providing training programs for industries.

Implications on the Technical Level of Industries and Industry-Academia Cooperation in Chungbuk Province (충북지역 산업체 기술수준과 산학협력에 관한 시사점)

  • In this study, the technical level and competence of Chungbuk region manufactures were diagnosed and implications for efficiency improvement of cooperation with local universities were derived. The results are as follow. First, in Chungbuk area, 75% of the skilled workers are medium-skilled and high skilled workers. And the life cycle of production products was found to have entered middle/old age. In addition, the industries were overestimating its technology capabilities, including marketing and sales technology, and management technology. Therefore, local universities should develop differentiated program such as technology transfer and commercialization support so that companies can nurture new industries and it is necessary to improve understanding of reality and future prediction ability through various education and seminars. Second, universities in Chungbuk province have failed to meet the practical demands of industry by providing general educational programs such as lifelong education curriculum, rather than the practical training required by industry. First of all, industries needed the practical training programs such as human resource empowerment, technical education and workers' retraining for local industry development. In addition, industries were expected to provide relevant knowledge and infrastructure such as testing, analysis, participation in technology development such as commissioning and joint research. Therefore, universities should prepare customized Industry-Academia Cooperation Programs through industry demand survey in planning. Also, it is necessary to establish various connection points with industry to ensure that industry-academia cooperation will continue and achieve results. Third, the technology of the industries in Chungbuk province was found to be very unrelated to the next generation regional strategic industries. This is not shared vision between industry and local government, Industry-Academia Cooperation Programs will serve as a platform to organize various community entities. Universities will be able to play a key role in between industries and local governments.
