The Effects of Participation Motivation of Corporate Social Responsibility Using Social Media on Organization-Public Relationship and Brand Loyalty (소셜 미디어를 통한 기업 사회공헌활동의 참여동기가 조직-공중관계성과 브랜드 충성도에 미치는 영향)

  • This Study Examines the Relationships Among Participation Motivation for Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) Using Social Media, Organization-public Relationship between Companies Conducting CSR and Participants, and Companies' Brand Loyalty. Using Questionnaire Data, Confirmatory Factor Analyses were used to Figure out Participation Motivation Factors Including Empathy and Interest. The Confirmatory Factor Analyses Also Derived Organization-public Relationship Factors Including Trust, Commitment, Control Mutuality, and Intimacy Created between Companies Conducting CSR and Participants. The Proposed Research Model was Tested through Structural Equation Modeling. The Results Showed that the Empathy Factor Positively Affects all the Organization-public Relationship Factors, and the Interest Factor Positively Affects trust and Commitment Factors. The Trust Factor Positively Influences other Organization-public Relationship Factors Including Commitment, Control Mutuality, and Intimacy. The results also Showed that each one of the Organization-public Relationship Factors Improves the Companies' Brand Loyalty.

The Effects of Household Characteristics and Poverty Duration on Poverty Exit Rate -Examining the Effects of Duration Dependency and Sample Heterogeneity - (가구특성과 빈곤지속기간이 빈곤탈피율에 미치는 영향 -지속기간의존성과 표본이질성에 대한 검증을 포함하여-)

  • By analyzing wave 1~11 (1998~2008) of Korean Labor and Income Panel Study(KLIPS) database, this study examines the effects of household characteristics and poverty duration on poverty exit. A special concern is to decide whether the decrease of poverty exit rates comes from true duration dependency or from the sample heterogeneity as poverty duration progresses. I also analyzed how the effects of independent variables are changed when unobserved heterogeneity is controlled. The results show that duration dependency disappears after controlling observed household characteristics and unobserved individual heterogeneity. This finding confirms that the apparent relationship between poverty exit rate and poverty duration is in fact a spurious association due to the sample heterogeneity rather than true duration dependency. In addition, the effects of household characteristics on poverty exit rate become more stronger when unobserved heterogeneity is controlled. Socioeconomic factors affecting poverty exit rates are such as householders' age, education, household composition, number of family members, labor force participation, and work status.

The Effect of Young Generation's Fairness Perception on Hopelessness: Mediating Effect of Perceived Control and Moderating Effect of Self-Esteem (청년세대의 공정성 인식이 무망감에 미치는 영향: 통제감의 매개효과와 자존감의 조절효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to confirm the effect of the young generation's Fairness perception on the hopelessness at the present time when the hopelessness of the future that young generation is experiencing is growing with social interest. This study examined the mediating effects of the perceived control and moderating effect self-esteem between the fairness perception and the hopelessness of the young generation. For this purpose, the self-reporting data of 313 young people in their 20s and 30s were collected. The results were as follows: First, fairness awareness was positively correlated with perceived control and self-esteem, and the hopelessness was negatively correlated with fairness awareness, perceive control and self-esteem. Second, perceived control mediated between fairness perception and the hopelessness, Third, self-esteem moderated the relationship between the fairness perception and the hopelessness. The high self-esteem group showed little change in hopelessness due to fairness perception while the low self-esteem group showed a big change in hopelessness due to fairness perception, which means that high self-esteem plays a role in alleviating hopelessness when fairness perception is low. The results of this study can be used as basic data to plan ways to improve mental health and quality of life.

The Individual, Family and Classroom Environmental Variables that Affect Children's Self-Control (아동의 개인 및 가족변인과 교실의 심리사회적 환경변인이 자기통제에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examines different individual and environmental factors that affect children's self-control. For an analysis, locus of control, perceived competence, and achievement motivation were all included in individual variables. For family variables, mothers' parenting and patents' marriage conflict were examined. For classroom psycho-social environment, teacher support, peer relationship, class involvement, and teachers' supervision were used. The sample consisted of 548 fifth and sixth grade children. Statistics and methods used for the data analysis were Cronbach's alpha, frequency, percentage, Pearson's correlation, and Hierarchical Regression. Several major results were found from the analysis: First, locus of control, perceived competence, and achievement motivation had a positive correlation with children's self-control. Second, mothers' affective parenting had a positive correlation with children's self-control. However, mothers' controlling parenting and parents' marriage conflict had a negative correlation with it. Third, teacher support, peer relationship, and class involvement had a positive correlation with children's self-control. In addition, teacher supervision had a positive correlation with girls' self-control. Fourth, class involvement, locus of control, and academic competence were important variables predicting boys' self-control. On the other hand, Class involvement, achievement motivation, academic competence, teacher's supervision, and mothers' controlling parenting were important variables predicting girl's self-control.

  • This paper analyzed the user's presence experience and player experience in FPS according to game usage time using Steam's review data. Data was obtained through crawling using Python. In analysis result, it was confirmed that issues related to controllable physical presence and uncontrollable social presence emerged in the group with less game use time, and controllable physical presence was changed to controllable social presence in the group with more play timeFurthermore, through player experience analysis, it was found that the keyword "recoil," a factor in game play, was important.

The Longitudinal Mediation Effect of Adaptive Game Use on the Relationship of Adolescents' Game Usage and Self-control (청소년의 게임이용시간과 자기통제의 관계에서 적응적 게임활용의 종단적 매개효과)

  • This study used a latent growth curve models(LGCM) to examine longitudinal changes in youth's game usage, self-control and the longitudinal mediation effect of adaptive game use in the relationship between game usage and self-control. A four-year longitudinal data of 863 adolescents from the Game User Panel Survey, provided through participation in the 2019 Game User Panel Research Conference hosted by the Korea Creative Contents Agency, was used to verify the longitudinal mediation effect of adaptive game use. SPSS 21 was used to verify the normality of variables from each wave, and to conduct correlation analysis. Mplus 6.12 was used to verify the longitudinal mediation effect. The results are as follows. First, game usage, self-control and adaptive game yielded linear temporal growth. Second, latent growth curve models showed that the direct effect of game usage on self-control was insignificant, but game usage had a significant indirect effect on self-control through adaptive game use. Continuous adaptive gaming increased self-control. Third, sobel test results showed that both the initial value and change rate of adaptive game use had a full-mediation effect, confirming the longitudinal mediation effect. This study verified the longitudinal change of self-control affected by change in game usage and adaptive game use.

An Analysis of Middle School Students' Resilience on Their School Adjustment (중학생의 회복탄력성과 학교적응성에 관한 실증적 인과관계 분석)

  • This study aims to draw the implication in improving middle school students' school adjustment and suggest policy methods for their school adjustment depending on the degree of social support. As a result of the research, it was found that middle school students' resilience factors such as self-control ability and interpersonal relationship ability had the influence on their impulse control, self-esteem, communication and self-expansion ability on their social competence. Emotional regulation, impulse control, self-esteem, communication and self-expansion ability had the influence on school adjustment. It was also known that middle school students' social competence had high influence on their school adjustment and their self-expansion ability had the highest influence on social competence. Middle school students' resilience factors such as emotional regulation, empathy and self-expansion ability may be different in their influence on social competence. Impulse control may be different depending on their school adjustment and a degree of social support, and social competence may be different depending on their school adjustment and a degree of social support.

Psychosocial Stress Levels and Related Factors in some Rural Residents (일부 농촌지역 주민에서 사회심리적 스트레스 수준과 관련요인)

  • Objectives: This study was performed to investigate the levels of psychosocial stres and to identify its Methods: The study subjects were 1,806 adults aged 40-70 years living in Naju City, Jeollanamdo. Sociodemographic characteristics, health-related behavior, social suport and personality were collected for statistical analysis. The measurement instrument of psychosocial stress was psychosocial well-being index. The regression analysis. Results: The results showed that 16.6% of subjects were categorized as high stress, 63.4% as moderate, and 20.0% as normal. Overall, the mean value of PWI was 17.29.8 and significantly diferent by socioeconomic characteristics, health-related behavior, social suport and personality. In the case of men, the income, decreased positive social suport, increased negative social suport, type A behavior pattern, decrease of internal locus of control or poorer self-esteem. In the case of women, the PWI was significantly deteriorated in the subjects with no job, no spouse, decreased positive social suport, increased negative social support, type A behavior pattern, decrease of internal locus of control or poorer self-esteem.Conclusions: The psychosocial stres for rural residents was related with social suport and personality. Thus, these results should be considered to reduce stres levels in rural adults.

The Psychosocial Adjustment of Adopted Children in Non-traditional Adoption of Korea (국내 공개입양의 입양아동의 심리사회적 적응 : 입양모의 양육행동과 입양모 - 자녀 간 의사소통을 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the psychosocial adjustment level of adopted children in non-traditional adoption of Korea and to verify the variables which influence their psychosocial adjustment. Moreover, this study concentrates on the parenting style of an adoptive mother and the openness of communication between the adoptive mother and her adopted child. And, six control variables which are individual characteristics of the adopted child and his(her) adoptive mother were utilized. The participants of the this research consisted of 61 adopted children in non-traditional adoption of Korea aged six and above and their adoptive mothers of 61. Door-to-door surveys for data collection were conducted nationally from December of 2007 to February of 2008. As the results of this study, out of 6 behavior problem variables, the adopted child showed the highest points in immaturely dependence, and their social competence was verified to be good. The psychosocial adjustment of the adopted children in non-traditional adoption of Korea showed meaningful differences according to the warmhearted parenting style of the adoptive mother, the openness of adoptive mother-adoptee's communication on both general and adoption related issues, and control variables. It was also verified that the warm-heartedness and the respect for autonomy of adoptive mother's parenting style, openness of adoptive mother-adoptee's general communication, and five control variables were the important variables influencing the psychosocial adjustment of the adopted child in non-traditional adoption of Korea. Accordingly, the adoptive parents' education of parenting for adopted child should be required more professional and individual approach at the adoption practice of Korea.

Applying the Theory of Planned Behavior to Understand Milk Consumption among WIC Preagnant Women (저소득층 임신부들의 우유 소비 행동을 이해하기 위한예측이론(Theory of Planned Behavior)의 적용)

  • Despite the importance of prenatal nutrition, many studies find inadequate calcium intake among pregnant women. The purpose of this study was to investigate the value of the Theory of Planned Behavior in explaining the intentions and the actual consumption of milk among pregnant women participating in or eligible for WIC. A cross-sectional survey was conducted to collect information regarding attitudes, subjective norms, perceived control, milk allocation within the family, intentions and consumption of milk. The survey questionnaire was developed using open-ended questions and interviews with 112 pregnant women. One-hundred-eighty women recruited from prenatal clinics completed the survey questionnaire. Multiple regression was used separately to investigate the association of factors to intentions and to the consu-mption of milk, as proposed in the theory. Milk allocation within the family was used as an exploratory variable to explain milk consumption. Study findings revealed that all three factors, attitudes, subjective norms and perceived control contributed to the model in explaining intentions (explained variance : 36.2%), with perceived control being most important. For milk consumption, intentions and perceived control were related significantly to actual consumption, while milk allocation within the family was not (explained variance : 44.6%). These findings suggest that perceived control is important in understanding both intentions and milk consumption, providing empirical evidence for the Theory of Planned Behavior. With respect to the role of perceived control, more strong evidence was provided in explaining intentions. Findings suggest that educational interventions to increase milk consumption among pregnant women should incorporate strategies to enhance the perception of control, and to strengthen positive attitudes and to elicit social support from significant other.
