The film handles some happenings based on the story that a poor family sponges off a rich family. Junho Bong, a film director, has won the Palme d'Or in Cannes Film Festival and received a Academy Award for best picture, best original screen play, best international film and best director. The film has accomplished the cinematic achievements, but it seems that the implications the film aims to show might not be seriously appreciated to the public. The film has an unusual synopsis, which demonstrates that a deprived family is parasitic to a wealthy family. The storyline specifies how great the gap between the rich and the poor in Korea is. Accordingly, this article investigates some implications of the house, family, and society in the film .Consequently, three families (Kitaek's house, Park's luxury house, and maid's hidden basement) explicitly reveal distinctive social hierarchy. The common features found in two families are like this: the lower classes are willing to help one another but have no conscience and morality. The social implications in the film are closely associated with the class system based on the gap between the rich and the poor, the symbols of stone, and tragic ending. From the ending of the film, it is expected that the extreme social imbalance precedes the gap between the wealthy and the poor.

2020년 자동차산업의 핵심 키워드는 새로운 교통수단과 이동 서비스를 제공함으로써 새로운 비즈니스의 기회를 창출해야 하는 '이동성의 재발견', 글로벌시장의 다양한 소비자에게 신속하고 효과적으로 대응할 수 있는 시스템을 모색해야 하는 '전방위적 유연성', 미래사회 산업의 패러다임 변화에 대응하기 위해 자동차업체 이외의 new players의 참여를 유도하고 공존할 수 있는 열린 산업문화를 구축해야 하는 '소통과 협력', 미래경쟁력 확보를 위해 핵심기술의 선점과 상품화 노력을 강화해야 하는 '첨단기술의 융합'으로 요약할 수 있다. 그리고 미래 자동차산업의 경쟁력은 자동차 자체를 만드는 기술력 보다는 융합기술을 접목한 신서비스의 소비자 니즈 충족이 관건인 점을 감안할 때, 최근에 관심이 집중되고 있는 스마트카에 대한 적극적인 대처가 미래 자동차산업의 경쟁력을 확보하고 우리나라 자동차산업의 지속 성장을 보장할 수 있다고 판단된다. 이러한 스마트카는 운전자 지원이 중요하고 운전자 수용성, 사회적 수용성, 산업적 수용성의 기본원칙을 만족해야 하며 여기서 운전자 지원의 형태로는 인식의 지원, 판단의 지원, 조작의 지원을 그리고 지원의 기능으로는 크게 지각기능의 확대, 정보제공, 경보, 사고회피 지원제어, 운전부하 경감제어를 들 수 있다. 운전자 수용성이란 스마트카의 다양한 기능들이 가능한한 운전자에게 쉽게 전달되어야 하고 운전자가 이들 기능들을 과신하여 의존하는 일이 발생해서는 안된다는 것을 의미한다. 아울러 스마트카의 기능은 어떤 조건에서 효과가 어느 정도로 기대될까를 분명히 정해둘 필요가 있다. 즉 사회적 측면에서의 표준화, 법규화가 병행되어야 함을 의미하고 이것이 사회적 수용성이라고 할 수 있다. 마지막으로 산업적 수용성이란 자동차 산업은 기존 사업을 지속 성장시키고 new players에게는 새로운 사업에 참여할 수 있는 기회가 정당하게 주어져야 함을 의미한다.

문화는 정신적인 것에서부터 제도에 이르기까지 인간의 삶과 관련된 모든 것을 의미한다. 대중예술이라는 측면에서 대중문화는 디지털 정보매체의 발달과 관련하여 고전적인 것보다는 개성과 독창성을 중시하고, 사회 문화적인 의미 이상으로 그 중요성과 영향력을 가지고 있으며, 규격화되고 획일적이며, 동질적 성격을 띄는 특성을 지니고 있다. 대중문화의 기능은 순기능과 역기능으로 분류할 수 있는데, 전자는 문화가 대다수 대중의 삶의 표현이고 문화적 풍요를 경험할 수 있다는 관점이고, 후자는 대중을 한 집단의 구성원이나 개인으로 인식하기보다는 무차별적인 집합체로 인식하고, 상업주의, 획일성, 저속성 등의 부정적인 의미를 내포하고 있으며, 대중문화가 사회의 도덕과 윤리를 저해한다는 관점이다. Studies of elder abuse are increasing in our country since the 1990s. But few studies have researched how older people may perceive and give meaning to the phenomenon of elder abuse. Old people have been alienated from their own problems. Elder abuse was constructed as a social problem by experts, not by older people themselves. The purpose of this study was to explore the older people's perceptions ell the meaning of elder abuse and interventions for it, using a qualitative approach based on the grounded theory. The findings from in-depth interviews with 10 the elderly were as follows: The elderly participated in this study has been constructing the aged as independence, privacy, and carer, which conflicts the existing social construction of the aged. They also had their own definition of elder abuse. They perceived all the psycho-emotional sufferings as major elder abuse. So, they understood that elder abuse was the pervasive problem which everyone would experience. They proposed that desirable interventions for it was to guarantee and to sustain their existing independent living.

The purpose of this study is to delve into reinterpretation and categorization of normative meaning of tradition. The normative meaning of tradition which plays a key role of the action-guiding power is the main source of morality. According to ecological cultural approach to diachronic transition of traditional value, traditional value leads its dynamic life: its origin, acculturation, transformation, distortion of traditional value depending upon periodic social change. It is necessary for traditional value to be reinterpreted and categorized, with a view to contributing to attribute & competency of democratic citizen in future society. The normative meaning of traditional value applicable for Korea's future society can be reinterpreted from its origin revealed in the classic. The order of discussion in this paper runs as follows. Firstly, we will investigate into dynamic change of the traditional value on the basis of the ecological cultural perspective and seek the possibility of modern reinterpretation of loyalty & filial piety as representative traditional value. Finally, we will treat the categorization and its significance of traditional value in the frame of Korean value including both western value and Korean traditional value.

현대의 경찰활동은 지역사회 경찰활동(Community Policing)으로 귀결된다. 지역사회 경찰활동에 대한 많은 논의가 있어왔지만 지역사회 경찰활동이라는 패러다임에 관한 통합적인 모색은 등한시 되어 온 것이 사실이다. 지역사회 경찰활동에서 파생된 프로그램 및 전략들은 실질적인 경찰활동과 관련이 있다. 이러한 프로그램들은 경찰조직의 이슈 혹은 특정한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 지역사회 경찰활동보다 의도적으로 좁은 범위로 한정하고 있다. 그러한 초점을 가진 대표적인 프로그램은 문제지향적 경찰활동(Problem-oriented policing), 깨진 창(Broken Windows), 컴스탯(Comstat), 제3자 경찰활동(Third party policing), 우범지대(Hot spots)로 볼 수 있다. 그러나 이러한 프로그램 및 전략들은 매우 한정된 범위 내에서 존재하고 운영되는 것들이기 때문에 오늘날의 경찰활동의 근거나 기초를 지역사회 경찰활동만큼 제공해주지 못하고 있다. 지역사회 경찰활동과 관련된 경찰개혁 프로그램이나 전략들을 통합하여 다시 한 번 의미를 재정립하는 것은 현장의 경찰관들이 보다 쉽게 경찰행정의 의미를 이해하고 실제로 실현해 나갈 수 있는 방법을 안내하기 위함이다.

최근 인문사회과학은 지역적 특수성과 문화적 배경(context)를 무시하고 법측과 체계(system)을 추구하는 자연과학의 개념을 인간사회에 적용하려는 여러 이론들이 인간의 근본적인 문제를 해결하는데 한계가 있음을 지적하고 있다. 이러한 법치주의에 의한 법인간적인 해석보다는 지역적이고 문화적 상황하에서 인간사회의 문제를 이해하려는 경향이 지금까지 행태(behavior)나 사회구조(social structure system)의 이해를 통해 인간사회를 분석하고 있다. 그 방법론으로는 전체의 맥락(context)이나 주변의 연관관계를 통해 의미를 이해하는 책(text)의 해석(interpretation)의 비유를 그 틀(paradigm)로 하고 있다. 이러한 경향은 예술과 미의 문제도 같은 체계(system)속에서 이해하여 현대의 전통, 문화와 대중으로부터 분리된 예술과 미로부터 전통, 문화, 개인과 생활이 공명할 수 있는 본래의 예술과 미를 찾으려 한다. 본 연구는 이러한 사회문화 이론의 개념을 분석하고 그 원리와 이론의 축면에서 경관(landscape)을 해석하고 경관의 의미(미를 포함한)체계(meaning system)을 분석하여 설계언어(design language)를 찾아내며 이를 설계에 응용할 수 있게 하는 기본적 틀(paradigm)을 제시하고자 한다.

This study was undertaken to provide basic data for the development of a mental health promotion intervention program, by confirming the mediating effects of social support in relation to the effect on the life stress and meaning of life in middle-aged women. The subjects of this study were 201 middle-aged women from D and K cities. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and Pearson's correlations using a statistical program for structural equation modeling (SEM); fitness of the final model was RMSEA 0.03, CFI 0.98, and NFI 0.95. The major learning from this study was that life stress has a direct effect on meaning of life and social support. Life stress (β=0.05, p< 0.001), meaning of life (β=0.05, p< 0.001), and social support (β=0.05, p< 0.001) have a significant and direct effect on depression. The findings also suggest that life stress indirectly affects the mediating effect between meaning of life and social support, and also depression of middle-aged women. We believe that results of this study encompass basic data that will aid in developing a program to promote the mental health of middle-aged women.

기술적 혁신과는 달리 상징적 혁신(symbolic innovation)은 기존 제품에 부가된 사회적 의미가 변화함으로서 창조된다. 따라서, 상징적 혁신에서 새로운 사회적 의미와 관련된 속성은 기능적 속성만큼이나 중요하다. 본 연구는 상징적 혁신의 대표적인 의류제품을 이용, 패션혁신행동에 영향을 미치는 인지된 혁신속성(perceived innovation attributes)을 구별하고, 패션혁신행동의 두 유형(구매와 사용)에 미치는 이러한 속성의 영향을 고찰하였다. 대학생 집단을 표본으로 이용, 설문지 조사를 통해 수집된 515부의 응답지가 분석되었다. 인지된 혁신 속성은 유사성(compatibility), 기능적 상대적 잇점, 사회적 상대적 잇점, 인지된 위험으로 구분되었다. 의복흥미가 구매와 사용 두 측면의 패션혁신행동에 영향을 주었으나 인지된 혁신속성은 사용측면에만 영향을 주었다. 유사성과 기능적 상대적 잇점이 사용혁신행동에 긍정적 영향을, 인지된 위험이 부정적 영향을 미쳤다. 혁신속성이 영향을 미치지 않은 반면 의류소비정도가 구매혁신에 영향을 주었다. 본 연구의 결과는 사용혁신성이 높은 소비자는 구매혁신성이 높은 소비자보다 혁신속성의 평가에 더 관여한다는 것을 시사한다.

Roland Barthes views a myth as a chain of connotative concepts that are mutually connected. For him, a myth appears through a chain connotation that is mutually related, due to the first-stage signification system. In other words, the connotation of a particular scene is already inherent in a culture in the form of social convention or social values before it is made. In the case of Disney animation, as mentioned Barthes, it has also two layers of denotation and connotation for signification. However, Disney animation shows the tendency that seek the denotative representation and the direct communication, based on the typified character, to the representation and delivery of the myth that is inherent. Therefore, the tendency of denotative signification is seen Disney animation can be said as a branch of research methodology for the approach to the aesthetics of Disney animation.
