Data were collected from 480 students in the department affiliated with Physical Education from 6 institutions of a 4-year university located in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, Incheon, and ChungChong-do. For the research model analysis, a structural equation model and bootstrapping were conducted. Results indicated that the academic domain, the social domain, and the environmental domain of dropout had a positive effect on organizational trust. But the only the academic domain in the relationship between dropout and intention to transfer affected intention to transfer positively. The social domain and the environmental domain were not statistically significant on intention to transfer. Moreover, organizational trust had a positive effect on intention to transfer. Finally, organizational trust partially mediated the path between the academic domain and intention to transfer. It fully mediated the paths between the social domain and the environmental domain and intention to transfer.

  • The purpose of this study is to present the necessary success strategies for the social economy ecosystem and social enterprise stakeholders by empirically examining the structural relationship of factors that affect the sustainable dual performance of social enterprises. Through previous studies, hypotheses and research models were established for the performance factors of social enterprises, and hypothesis testing was performed using PLS-Structural Equation Modeling on 92 sample data collected from the survey. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the social mission, customer orientation, and social network set as performance factors all had a significant positive (+) effect on social performance. In addition, social performance had a significant (+) effect on economic performance by mediating customer orientation and social network excluding social mission, and it was found that the business model strengthened this relationship. In addition to the theoretical significance of demonstrating the structural influence of social enterprise performance factors through this study, practical implications can be found in that it suggests factors that social entrepreneurs should focus on for growth and performance creation.

  • MMORPG online game business has emerged as the most lucrative entertainment industry, with over 10 million gamers in South Korea. It appears that in this extremely attractive and growing services segment, academics, as well as practitioners, would benefit from investigating the relationships among the players' attachment or affection, game contents-related and social interaction-related construct. We assume that game contents-related construct consists of storytelling, game-play method, contents-diversity and the sense of identification, and that social interaction-related construct includes information-sharing, gamers' empowerment and the word-of-mouth. Based on data collected from online questionnaire survey, the validity of the research model has been tested. The results show that contents-related construct influences the players' attachment, and that social interaction-related construct has no direct impact on the attachment. But social interaction-related construct has been shown to influence contents-related construct, implying the indirect impact on the players' attachment.
