This study would be research for correlations between ethical factors and company's competitiveness of small and medium enterprises thorough recognizing of important company ethic and approaching to them theoretically. This study has collected all information which small and medium enterprises around Seoul and Kyounggi province and employing more than 5, which 134- survey are used totally. Study reveals that firstly customer and social responsibility provide Positive effects on the organization Dust, secondly CEO's views serve those positive effects as well, thirdly it is not preyed that ethical capacity of company have a positive effect on organization trust. Fourthly, organization trust has good effects on competitiveness of product and price. This results lead to some suggestions as follows. First of all, company should serves systemized value to customers and their societies. For that, it is necessary to analyse their needs and to reflect them into corporate management to build close relationship with customers and reliable marketing activities, efforts to enhance corporate images. This chain of work can make employees feel proud themselves. Secondly, supervisors including CEO should set the pace with high-consensus for ethical behaviour. Thirdly, ethical factors should be improved for improving organization trust simultaneously. Every customer, no matter they are inner or outer, should have highly required ethical understandings for their networks. Furthermore, they have to enhance organization trust and to strengthen company competitiveness through stimulating employee's courages and contribution.
This study empirically analyzed the effect of outdoor brand consumer's consumption value and company's creating shared values activity on consumers' purchase intention. The sub-variables of consumption value were set as functional value, conditional value, and emotional value as factors affecting consumers' purchase intention. The sub-variables of company's creating shared values activities were set as economic value, relational value, social value. As a result of analysis, functional value, conditional value, and emotional value of consumption value were found to have a positive effect on purchase intention, and economic value, social value, and relational value of company's creating shared values were all positively influenced Respectively. According to the results of the analysis, it is found that both consumption value of outdoor brand consumers and company's creating shared values activities are positive factors for purchase intention. This result can be deduced that consumers 'consumption value and company's creating shared values activities in outdoor brand industry are already reflected in consumers' purchase intention.
The objective of this research is to investigate the attetudes of religious groups(christian, buddhist, atheist) towards corporate social expenditures. Methodology was a questionnair survey. The data analysis was done by the Kruscal Wallis test and Wilcoxon signed ranks test. The results of this rssearch is that the difference of attitudes between christian group and other groups and between religious groups and atheist group on the social expenditures did not turn out to be statistically significant. The implication of this results is that the variables of religious groups can be ignored when we are going to study on the attitudes of values for the Korean people.
While the current literature has considered business group as a temporary form of organizations that only exists under the developing contries with under-developed financial markets. Chaebol, a form of businss group in Korea, has sustained as a major organization form in Korea. To fill the current gap in the literature and practice, I suggest a theoretical model of Chaebol scion's entrepreneurial firm growth mechanisms. First, I posit that social, structural, and psychological factors motivate Chaebol scions to engage in entrepreneurship. Second, I suggest that five mechanisms, including business opportunity, financial support, recruitment, marketing, and inter-organizational collaboration, will facilitate entrepreneurial firm growth. By constituting a model of Chaebol scion's entrepreneurial firm growth, the current theoretical paper advances the literature on business group and entrepreneurship with indicating Korean Chaebol's new expansion possibilities.
Initiatives for corporate social responsibility (CSR) have often served as sources of competitive advantage in the business world. Although the adoption of CSR practices in the hotel industry continues to increase, empirical research on the relationship between them and financial performance in the industryremains scarce. The purpose of this study was to ascertain the effects of various dimensions of CSR on the financial performance of corporations in the U.S. hotel industry. Data include Kinder, Lydenburg & Domini social performance scores and Compustat data of hotels from 1991 to 2015 identified using a Standard Industrial Classification code. Results of ordinary least squares regression using Stata revealed that efforts toward CSR have significantly affected the financial performance of numerous hotels. Such findings can initiate discussions and inspire future research on CSR in the hospitality industry.
Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) refers to factors that are important for assessing a firm's social and environmental effect, as well as its governance standards. This paper investigates the relationship between ESG-based corporate governance and SDGs strategy implementation by discussing about incorporating ESG issues into corporate operations. It digs into the advantages and disadvantages of aligning corporate governance with the SDGs, demonstrating the potential for delivering long-term value for both firms and society as a whole. In this paper, we investigate ESG-Based Knowledge Management (ESG-KM), a knowledge management system that incorporates sustainability principles. More specifically, the paper investigates how the synergy between ESG-KM and ESG-Based Corporate Governance (ESG-CG) might influence firms' long-term value creation, stakeholder involvement, and sustainable decision-making. Finally, this paper investigates how public organizations might use knowledge management to improve the implementation and effect of ESG-CG principles, resulting in better sustainable outcomes. Public enterprises may support responsible decision-making, increase stakeholder involvement, and achieve long-term performance by linking ESG principles with corporate governance standards. The paper then explores how ESG-KM might help public firms integrate these concepts into their governance structures. The scientific novelty of this paper resides in its thorough investigation, realistic implementation methodologies, and novel combination of ESG principles, corporate governance, and knowledge management. Furthermore, by providing actionable insights and emphasizing the application of these concepts in the context of public enterprises, the paper makes a valuable contribution to the field of management, propelling the discourse on responsible and sustainable business practices in both the private and public sectors.
The KPI of the four perspectives in BSC need to modify because of the change of management environment. In particular, the KPI of the financial perspective needs to modify necessarily. The KPI of financial perspective has been consisted of short-term measures: net profit current year, operating profit, ROE, ROIC, and EVA. But this financial indicators cannot afford to represent essential corporate sustainability management in the change of management environment. So this study suggests CSV(Creating Shared Value) as an additional KPI of financial perspective. And this study investigates whether CSV represents business performance as the additional KPI in BSC adoption firms. To verify a hypothesis, the sample includes listed firms announcing CSR index publicly between 2005 and 2010. The results of this study are summarized as follows. The high CSV firms is higher on the value relevance of firm in comparison with low CSV firms. Moreover, The firm value of BSC adoption firms is lower than otherwise, but it is insignificant. Limitation of Our study is that we have no choice but to use dummy variable. Because it is a material question as CSV measurement. Nevertheless, contribution of our study is to suggest new KPI of BSC perspective to meet management environment.
In the last decades, technology-oriented small firms, i.e. venture businesses, have been increasingly engaged in R&D collaborations with external parties as strategic means for technological innovation. Despite ample evidence on the benefit of such collaborations for the firms, there has been less attention to examining whether and how the firms' social interactions with cooperating partners and their managerial characteristics contribute to that benefit. Drawing on the theories of social capital and entrepreneurial orientation, this study is to remedy this gap. The theory of social capital, referring to a sum of the value and potential resources embedded in social relationships of collectives, provides an integrated view of social factors among cooperating partners, e.g. strong ties, network stability, trust, reciprocity, shared vision and value. It categorizes these factors into structural, relational, and cognitive dimensions of social capital. Entrepreneurial orientation theory captures firms' managerial characteristics as a combination of innovativeness, proactiveness, and risk-taking. This addresses firms' managerial process to utilize and combine internal and external resources for wealth creation and opportunity realization. Against this background, this study investigates what roles social capital among cooperating R&D partners and entrepreneurial orientation of the collaborating firms play for collective performance improvement in R&D collaborations. In terms of the collective performance, this study adopts two indicators: technological competitiveness and business performance. Technological competitiveness refers to the contribution of a technology developed by a cooperative R&D project to competitive advantage of a firm while business performance is defined as the financial and economic outcome of a collaboration. Using a sample of 218 Korean ventures engaging in R&D collaboration with external parties, the author finds the significant effects of social capital (i.e. structural, relational, and cognitive dimensions) and entrepreneurial orientation (i.e. innovativeness, proactiveness, and risk-taking) on both of the technological competitiveness and the business performance. Further, the higher the social capital among R&D partners, the more likely it is to foster the entrepreneurial orientation at firm-level. Most importantly, the entrepreneurial orientation at firm-level is an significant mediator of the relationship between social capital and collective performance. Beyond these novel empirical findings, this study contributes to the literature on R&D collaboration. The findings' implications for management and policy are deeply discussed in the conclusion.

Porter(2011)'s CSV(Creating Shared Value) is a more strategically advanced perspective of CSR(Corporate Social Responsibility). CSV creates corporates' value by exploiting the firms' own core competence and social value of the stakeholders in the community such firms simultaneously belong to. In this points of view, CSV is more appropriate for the principles of capitalism than CSR. A case study on food producing firms that adopted the concept of CSV to their business management was conducted. Considering the characteristics of food industry, the researchers have investigate many existing cases, especially focused on the CSV activities toward rural area and agriculture. As result of the case analysis, the 'mutual firm-establishing-CSV,' which refers to the new organization established on the point of contact where corporate value and social value meet, was observed. The aspects of establishing a new organization by firms' collaborating with rural area and agriculture is different in accordance with each firm's method of creating shared value. However, the cases have common grounds that the created value is for pursuing both firms' and stakeholders' value. This study is significant, in that the study deducts implications about accompanied growth and win-win management by suggesting the establishment of firms based on CSV.

The first generation of the business that had been founded in 1960~1970s faces the situation to consider the succession of the family business developed by devotion of their whole lives in the critical timing to the next generation. In the process of selecting the party of family business succession, it is required to consider a variety of succession types including smooth transfer to the other family member or the employee of the company, selling the company, or hiring external specialist. Foreign countries acknowledge the importance of the succession in the family owned company to perform multiple studies on the influential factors to the succession, distinction, and types of family business succession; and they utilize the results for the related policy development and the support of family owned business succession. However, few studies have been conducted on the succession of the domestic family owned business and majority of them are related to the types of succession. Considering its share and influential power in the domestic economy, it is necessary to develop the guideline and the policies to solve many issues on the succession of the family owned business by systemic studies. Hence, the impact of the main characteristics in the family owned business on the types of its succession was analyzed in this study focusing on five domains of Socioemtional Wealth (SEW) in view of Behavioral Agency Theory by Gomez-Mejia et al. (2007) using the data from 540 family owned small-to-medium sized businesses so as to analyze the issues on their business succession. Upon the empirical analysis results, it was confirmed that they were influenced to the selection of succession type by family succession > internal employee succession > external succession, for the variables of social contribution which were non-financial characteristics, internal employee succession > family succession > external succession for the intellectual properties, and family succession > external succession for the management participation of the family. The distinction of social contribution were influenced the most to the selection of the succession types. Financial factors, business performance, and R&D investment variables were not significantly influenced to their selection of the succession types. In case of simultaneous management, the family succession rate was high and it showed the control effect to strengthen selecting family owned business with R&D investment, social contribution, and company history variables. The behavioral agency theory used in this study was confirmed with high explanation power on the family owned business succession. The family owned business showed the tendency to maintain SEW, and non-financial factors such as accumulated know-how and social contribution based on the long term history were significantly affected to the succession in the small-to-medium sized family owned businesses, unlike general large sized listed companies. The results of this study are expected to be helpful practically for the succession of the family owned business and to suggest the guideline for the development of governmental policy.
