어느 단체나 조직체에는 대변할 수 있고 공동체를 대표하는 협회가 있다. 수의분야에는 대한수의사회와 학술단체인 수의학회, 두 개의 큰 단체가 있다. 수의학회에서는 학계와 연구기관계통에서 연구한 결과를 발표하고 학술토론을 하며 학술에 관한 정보교환, 국제 학술교류 및 정보교환, 연구업적에 대한 평가도 한다. 이에 비하여 모든 수의사가 모여 있는 대한수의사회에서는 수의사의 권익보호와 수의법규, 제도, 수의정책, 교육 등 수의사에 관련되는 모든 것을 총괄하며 수의사의 대변인 역할을 한다고 이해하고 있다. 그래서 여기에는 임상수의사, 기업체에서 일하는 수의사, 학계, 연구기관, 수의직 공무원 등 수의사면허증을 보유한 모든 수의사가 참여할 수 있는 단체, 즉 모든 수의사들의 권익보호단체이며 수의사의 얼굴이라고 할 수 있다. 지면을 통하여 나의 소견을 제안하고자 한다.

RUSUNISW는 1991년 설립된 러시아에 있는 단 하나의 사회복지조직으로서 현재 11,000여 명의 회원과 80개의 지부를 두고 있다. 월 간 Social Worker 11월호에서는 Antonina Dashkina 러시아사회복지사협회 회장을 만나 러시아 사회복지사.사회복지계 동정에 대해 알아보고 한국사회복지사협회와의 협력관계에 대해 알아보고자 한다.

우리나라는 지금 경제의 국제화에 따라 국내산업의 공동화, 노동인구의 고령화 등 사회적 경제적으로 어려운 문제에 직면하고 있습니다. 21세기를 향해 밝은 전망을 개척하기 위해서는 국제 경쟁력 있는 고부가가치의 신산업을 창조하지 않으면 안되겠습니다. 연구개발을 통해서 찾아낸 독창적 성과를 현실사회로 유도하며 실용화하기 위해서는 기술력이 불가피한 것으로 사료됩니다. 이런 뜻에서 기술사의 역할이 더욱더 중요시 되며 근래 기술사에 대한 사회적 기대는 점차 더해가고 있는 실정입니다. 따라서 기술사는 자기연마의 노력으로 국내외 기술자의 최고 자격으로서의 그 지위를 확립해 나가야 할 것으로 사료됩니다. 한 편 국제화의 진전에 따라 앞으로 세계로 눈을 돌려 명실공히 이 나라를 대표하는 기술선구자로서 세계무대를 개척해 나가야 할 것입니다. 이를 위해서 기술사의 문제를 구체적으로 짚어 보고자 합니다.

Dying alone is an emerging social problem in South Korea. It is reported that most cases of dying alone showed various and chronic health problems. Despite of this situation, there existed neither medical support nor welfare services when dying. It indicated severe health inequality problems. With this background, the purpose of this study was to examine health inequality issue among dying alone cases by using news paper articles during the past three years(2016-2018). Content analysis was employed for 89 dying alone cases. Characteristics of dying alone cases, types of illness and health problems, and unmet medical services were analyzed. Based on the findings, future directions were addressed.

The purpose of this study was to examine the degree of awareness of burnout among social workers in consideration of the importance of burnout. Through this, social welfare institutions will use the basic data to identify the level of exhaustion of social workers and at the same time, suggest ways to improve the problems of the social workers' exhaustion. In addition, it will be used as a material to lower the intention of turnover of social workers. A total of 93 people were surveyed at 5 social welfare centers in Cheongdo-gun, Gyeongbuk. The average and standard deviation were analyzed using SPSS 23.0. As a result, first, social workers tended to be exhausted overall. Second, emotional depletion tended to be higher than other subregions, and dehumanization and deterioration of personal achievement tended to be higher.

미국에서 한때 베스트셀러를 기록했던 "자연요법"이란 책을 쓴 앤드루 웨일이 세계 각지의 민간요법을 조사하기 위해 아마존 오지의 주술사를 찾았다. 그러나 추장과 의사의 일까지 맡고 있던 이 주술사는 개발에 밀려 훼손되고 있는 아마존의 열대림과 생활터전을 보호하기 위한 사회운동가로 변신해 있었다. 자연이 파괴되는 이 무서운 현실 앞에서 우리도 아마존의 주술사처럼 변신과 전업을 꾀해야 하지 않을까 생각이 든다.

This study originates from the following problematic: Can a social history of design provide a useful methodology for the research and education of Korean design? For the understanding of the modes of socio-cultural approach to design, the chapter 2 compares the narrative mode of designer-centered history promulgated under the influence of Nikolaus Pevsner and that of socio-cultural approach advocated by Adrian Forty. The chapter 3 studies the cases of socio-cultural approach to Korean design through the domestic exhibitions like 'Everyday Life, Memory and History,' 'A Glimpse into the Society through Campaigns,' and 'Design Culture in Korea 1910-1960' which attempted the socio-cultural approach to the visual culture of modern/contemporary Korea. In the chapter 4, this study investigates into the meanings and characteristics of socio-cultural approach in the design research and education, End argues for the necessity of the introduction of qualitative research methodology.

This study aimed to explore social work practice tasks and KSA(Knowledge, Skill, Ability) that are being used most frequently in practice field so that developing contents of training program for social worker. The participants in this study included 340 social worker in community welfare center nationwide and exploratory statistical methods were used. The specific result were as follows: 1.social work service was classified four dimensions(direct service, community service, organizational strategic and human resource management, and indirect service). 2.In each dimension, important practice tasks were screened. 3.Basic KSA of social worker that were needed to perform these tasks successfully were screened. On basis of these results, this paper provided some practical strategics for developing training program.

The purpose of this study is to compare the perception on family of social workers and clients. Perception of family concept, family function is changing as times passes. But social worker is facing a dilemma because of differences of the perception on family. In order to compare between social worker and client concepts on family, this study compare family concept, familism, gender egalitarianism. Data for analysis were collected from 131 social workers and 134 clients who were purposive sampled. Social worker's recognition of family concept is more acceptable than client's family typology, functional family concept. Analysis shows that client group more higher familism and clients have a low opinion of gender egalitarianism. Thus, social worker may have conflicted with client's family while social worker practices case management or prograss family welfare services. In order to examine the influencing factors on family perception, the defined factors were self-efficacy, family of orgin perception. Controlling for sex, old, marriage on family perception were examined. There were significant effect of old, family-orgin perception to the client's family concept, familism, gender egalitarianism. On the contrary there were significant effect of sex, self-efficacy to the social worker's familism, gender egalitarianism. In conclusion, this study confirmed the difference of family perceptions between social worker and client. But the result of this study suggest that family social work procession or intervention will be investigated concretely.

지난 1월 15일 제26대 대한수의사회 회장 선거에 허주형 회장이 당선되면서 3월부터 활동을 시작했다. 허주형 회장은 공약으로 수의사와 동물을 위한 동물진료권 확보, 수의사를 위한 권익 확보, 사회발전에 기여하는 수의사상 정립 등을 내세운 바 있다. 앞으로 대한수의사회 활동에 대해 들어보았다.
