의복이란 끊임없이 변화하는 사회에서 그 사회의 변화를 조절하는 집합적 요소로서, 그 시대의 사상이나 행위 및 관습 등 인간 행동의 변천과 그 시대의 사회와 문화를 반영해 주는 가장 가시적인 도구이다. 의복은 자신의 문화는 물론 다른 문화를 이해 하는데 도움을 주는 역할을 하므로, 한 나라의 문화를 이해하기 위해서는 그 나라의 의복을 연구하는 것은 매우 의의가 있는 것이다. 문화의 다양성으로 각각의 문화는 다양한 의복 스타일을 갖게 되었다. (중략)

농어촌지역의 인구감소로 인한 인력난 해소를 위하여 국가적으로 농·어가당 외국인 고영허용 인원을 확대하고 농가의 경우 계절 근로제도 대상 적용 작물 제한을 없애는 등 인력확보를 위해 노력하고 있다. 외국인 근로자와 국제결혼 증가로 인하여 국내 체류 외국인 수는 지속적으로 증가추세를 보이고 있으며, 코로나 19 이전 2019년 12월 말에 체류 외국인이 252만 명으로 대한민국 전체 인구의 4.9%에 해당하며, 통상 학계에서는 외국인 비율이 5%를 넘으면 다문화사회로 분류한다. 지속적인 외국인 근로자 및 다문화 가구의 증가에 따라 지역사회에서 갈등이 발생하고 있으며, 다문화사회로 분류된 상황에서 외국인 근로자 및 다문화 가구를 지역사회의 일원으로 인식하고 갈등을 적극적으로 해결할 필요가 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 남해군 미조권역의 사례를 바탕으로 외국인 근로자 및 다문화 가구와 원주민과의 갈등관리를 위한 시설물 및 프로그램 계획, 현안갈등과 잠재적갈등 관리 방안을 제안하여 어촌지역 다문화사회의 발전을 도모할 수 있는 실질적인 연구 수행의 의의가 있다.

메이크업 문화의 경우 1950년대까지는 이상적이라고 설정된 여성미가 획일적으로 일반인들에게 모방되었다. 그러나 1960년대 이후부터는 미에 대한 기존의 가치개념에 변화가 이루어지면서 메이크업은 사회구성원에 따라 다양하게 등장하는 미의 표출 수단으로 새롭게 전개되었다. 또한 20세기의 패션 산업 향장 산업, 광고산업, 영화를 포함한 각종 영상산업, 문화산업, 예술산업 등의 발달을 통하여 메이크업의 역할이 중요한 자리매김 되어가고 있다. 이들에 대한 재해석을 통한 현대 예술의 상상력은 메이크업의 영역을 확대 시켰다. 한국적 전통에 바탕을 둔 메이크업 역시 새로운 해석과 예술적 기술을 접목 시켜 현대의 미를 창조 함으로써 한국적인 에스닉 스타일을 개발는데 의의 있는 일이다.

The present study aimed to understand young adult women's disordered eating symptoms with materialism and pathological celebrity worship. Specifically, we hypothesized that pathological celebrity worship and internalization of sociocultural attitudes towards appearance would mediate the relationship between materialism and disordered eating symptoms among young adult women. A total of 601 female college students participated in this study. As hypothesized, we found that materialism predicted pathological celebrity worship and increased internalization of sociocultural attitudes towards appearance, which in turn, led to a higher level of disordered eating symptoms. Our findings suggest that young adult women's disordered eating behaviors should be understood as a sociocultural phenomenon rather than as an individual woman's personal issue.

This study explores how married migrant women in Korea create social capital in their everyday lives, and how their social capital influences cultural acculturation. This study performs a structural equation model, using two-year data of female migrant women. The results suggest that network elements, including official supports from public organizations and unofficial supports from personal ties, contribute to creation of perceptual elements, including social trust, community involvement and relations. Also, these two elements of social capital have positive impact on acculturation of married migrant women in Korea. The longitudinal analysis provides a basic understanding of the creation of social capital and the relationship between social capital and acculturation of married migrant women and also clearly suggests the importance of public supports rather than personal supports from family or friends.

In this study, we developed the multicultural program that could strengthen capabilities of the local childcare community and analyzed the satisfaction and effects of the program. The multicultural childcare community programs are designed for taking into account the conditions of effective contact between social groups. Five programs for multicultural childcare community are performed during the period (August from July 2015), and there were 196 members of local community involved in that programs. Local multicultural community program indicated a high satisfaction and we were able to lead on building their self-esteem and social engagement of multicultural parents through that program. Furthermore, we can confirm the needs of the program for local multicultural childcare community have continued. It is significant that this study provides basic data for the multicultural childcare community program to make a contribution to another local multicultural community.

This study, the effect of organizational culture perceived by millennial Naval Personnel working on naval ships on organizational citizenship behavior was empirically analyzed. First, it was found that OC(group/hierarchy) had a positive effect on OCB. Second, affective commitment plays a mediating role in the relationship between OC(group/hierarchy) and OCB. It was confirmed that organizational culture has a direct effect on OCB, but also indirectly through affective commitment. Third, Coworker social loafing had a negative moderating effect in the relationship. Therefore, in order to improve organizational citizenship behavior, it is necessary to improve a balanced organizational culture suitable for changes in the organizational environment, Strengthen the key influencers for organizational members to affective commitment themselves in the organization, and promote improvement in social loafing.

This study attempts to analyze the critical issues of globalization and present an alternative framework that places ICT in the function of development in comparative perspective. To adjudicate the controversies concerning the effect of developmental factors, it examines the determinants of global trend that leads to the comprehensive mechanism of ICT and cultural residues. The advent of the global community in cyber space requires a new balancing point by the mode of communication and culture among all societies and operation with decentralized authority. This interdependence, by providing diverse network structures and participating in cyberspace, includes the power shift from the dynamics of international relations with voluntary collaboration and brings some important implications for a global empathetic society.

As cultural contents are rising to the surface, the contents and interests regarding the industries that utilize the culture become higher than any other times. Culture is performed with memory, and the culture that excludes memory cannot exist. The memory exceeds a dimension of the individual and operates with an assembled and social memory. Furthermore the culture requires media to put memories inevitable. Therefore, recent image texts are coming to the attention as new storage media. So this essay analyzed the meaning of 'memory' as social-cultural memory by putting the sixth generation Chinese movies to the center and restoration of image text that puts memory in it. And also, I examined the cultural meanings of 'individual memories' as the 'counter memory' and tried to find the possibility of junction between memory industry and the contents. I focused on the sixth generation Chinese movies because these movies made remarkable progresses in the international film festivals though they were made in 'underground' by objecting to 'official memory' proposed by the Chinese government.
