Policy of Information Service for Aged Welfare (노인복지정보서비스 향상을 위한 정책방향)

  • This paper was studied on policy direction of information service for aged welfare. An element on social changes is as follow: economic problem, medical problem, leisure problem, alienation problem. Solution of this problem needs information service. Information service is Telecommuting service, home shopping service, medical support service, medical information service, telemedical support service, internet service, and knowledge studying support service. The results of this study is as follow: First, aged welfare organization must be constructed. Second, Network for aged welfare must be constructed. Third an aged must be utilization of information service. Fourth, policy of nation must be changes. Fifth, information service of aged welfare must be developed.

The Estimation of the Economic Impact of Handset Subsidies Using Input-Output Tables (단말기보조금의 경제적 파급효과에 대한 산업연관분석)

  • This paper computes the economic impact of handset subsidies using the recent Input-Output Tables and compares the results with other alternatives which telecommunications companies can choose. The first scenario is that telecommunications companies give handset subsidies to consumers and sales agents. The second is that the companies do not give the subsidies to them, but instead spend the same amount of subsidy on facility investment. The third is that the companies lower the prices of their mobile communications services and consumers spend the saved expenses on other goods and services. The result is that the production, value added, import, job, employment inducement coefficients of the first scenario is larger than those of the second and third scenarios. The reason is as follows. The handset subsidy results in the incentive to consumers for handset purchase or the incentive for sales agents to sell the telecommunication services of the companies. The former has larger production and import inducement effect, and the latter also has larger value-added, job, and employment inducement effect than those of other scenarios.

Economic analysis of reclaimed water reuse: a case study of Yongin-si water reuse (하수 재이용수의 활용을 위한 경제성 분석: 용인시 소재 골프장 조경용수 공급)

  • Recently, increased water demand and frequent droughts caused severe water shortages in South Korea. Thus, reusing the reclaimed water is receiving attention as an alternative water source rather than depending on the conventional water supply. In South Korea, three types of water reuse are mainly applied, such as rainwater reuse, gray water reuse and wastewater reuse. In this study, the wastewater reuse was analyzed since the amount of treated wastewater is relatively constant over the year and typically the water quality is acceptable for reuse. In Yongin-si, there are 26 golf clubs, which is about 10% of entire facilities currently operating in South Korea. The golf courses consume significant amount of water for landscaping; thus, if the reclaimed water used, the economic, social and environmental benefits would be tremendous. This study estimates the economic benefits and costs when supplying the reclaimed wastewater for landscaping of golf courses as a case study in Yongin-si.

Economic Benefit Analysis of Urban Meteorological Information Service Using Contingent Valuation Method (조건부가치측정법을 이용한 도시기상정보서비스의 경제적 편익 분석)

  • As the concentration of people in urban area become severe and abnormal meteorological disasters such as regional torrential rains, heavy snows, sweltering heat, and so on have been increasing, the interest on the urban meteorological information service, which considers the specific characteristics of metropolitan areas in weather forecasting, are also increasing. The urban meteorological information service is one of up-to-date technologies which observes urban weather in a more microscale perspective compared to the present weather forecasting system and provides useful meteorological information which is specialized for metropolises in real time. Therefore, urban meteorological information service is expected to contribute to the increase in quality of life for citizens and to the development of industry in urban areas. In this study, we estimate the economic benefit of the urban meteorological information service using contingent valuation method with survey data of the citizens who are expected to be the direct customers of this new information service. As a result, we conclude that the household is willing to pay 5,963 Korean won per year on average, during a period of five years, for receiving this meteorological information service, and this willingness-to-pay is varied by the socio-economic characteristics of head of the household.

  • 2004년 개발된 다차원홍수피해산정법(MD-FDA)은 홍수에 따른 경제적 피해를 추정하기 위한 기법으로서 그 동안 하천설계기준, 댐설계기준, KDI 예비타당성조사 지침 등에 반영되어 실무에서 활발히 사용 중이다. 그러나 그 동안 많은 연구에서 MD-FDA의 인벤토리 체계, 가용자료의 정밀성, 손상함수, 손실유형 범위와 관련한 개선이 요구되었으며, 최근에는 재난위기 관리 능력강화를 위한 "한국형 재난피해 예측 시스템" 개발의 필요성이 제기되면서 현재 다양한 분야의 전문가들이 재난손실과 관련한 많은 연구를 진행 중이다. 이에 본 연구는 국외 주요 홍수손실 예측 모델과 현재 국가차원에서 서비스되는 상세자료를 검토하여 일반건물(general building)의 홍수손실 평가 체계를 제시하고, 이와 연관된 세부요소 기술을 정립하였다. 우선, 지역 내 건물현황 및 특성정보가 참조가능한 자료를 바탕으로 일반건물의 유형을 분류하였고, 이밖에 건물손실 평가에서 주요 참고자료로 활용되는 인구, 종사자수 등의 사회 경제적 정보를 연계한 인벤토리 DB 구조를 설계하였다. 이로부터 구축되는 인벤토리 DB는 위치정보를 포함하는 공간자료이며, 손상(damage)과 손실(loss)을 평가하기 위한 건물특성 정보를 포함한다. 한편, 본 연구에서의 건물손실은 자산의 총가치를 기준으로 한 상대적 손상률(%)을 설명하는 손상함수를 기반으로 하기 때문에 감가상각을 고려한 건물의 완전대체비용(건물자산가치)가 정의되어야 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 최근 한국감정원에서 발간한 "건물신축단가표"와 "유형고정자산 내용연수표"를 바탕으로 손실평가에 필요한 요소기술을 정립하였다. 제시한 일련의 과정은 동두천시 신천 범람사례를 대상으로 적용하였고, 그 결과를 기존의 MD-FDA 결과와 비교하였다.

A study on cultural revitalization using local idle facilities

  • Culture and art can be said to be an important medium that enhances people's creativity and satisfies our desire for cultural experience as well as emotional cultivation. These arts and culture are spreading all over the world through Hallyu, etc. to this day, and it is naturally positioned as an industry that creates the highest added value. However, rapid industrialization and development of industrialization also provided many negative causes, such as damage to nature due to the decline of factories and equipment industries, pollution and damage to the surrounding environment due to the use of fossil fuels. Therefore, in this study, we investigated the factors necessary for improving the image of the local community and maximizing tourism classes by actively utilizing the idle space abandoned due to industrialization and industrialization as a complex space for culture and art. As a result, empirical analysis was conducted through a total of six factors excluding typology through factor analysis. The results showed that reliability, certainty, and empathy had a positive effect, but responsiveness did not. In addition, the economic effect was found to have a positive effect on customer satisfaction.

  • This study tried to analyze the growth background of Starbucks, a competitive company in the Korean coffee industry. Therefore, by using the STEEP analysis technique, each company's competitiveness was analyzed and the results were used to derive competitive factors. And the research results are as follows. Looking at the social aspect, economic activity has been a catalyst for women as the standard of living has increased due to economic growth. In addition, in the case of coffee culture in the past, Starbucks' response strategy, which has seen the transformation from vending machine mixed coffee culture to a consumer market that emphasizes cultural and spatial aspects, was effective. Looking at the technical aspect, the deviation has been reduced by securing uniform standardization of the taste of coffee beans at franchise stores, and the operation of a standardized operating system was possible by operating the store directly. And looking at the economic aspect, as the coffee consumption market continues to expand, the overall size of the market has also grown proportionally, creating a stable growth environment. Lastly, looking at the environmental and policy aspects, it is that the marketing strategy direction based on the policy activities as an eco-friendly company as a market leader has been the main focus of the recent policy direction emphasizing eco-friendliness.

A Study on the Factors Influencing the Satisfaction and Continued Use Intention of the Subscription Economy Service: Focusing on Use Motivations, Platform & Service Characteristics (구독경제 서비스 만족과 지속사용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구: 이용동기와 플랫폼, 서비스 특성요인을 중심으로)

  • This study attempted to identify various variables that affect satisfaction and continued use intention of the subscription economy services. Through previous research studies, individual characteristics and service characteristic variables were considered together. Finally, use motivation, platform characteristic factors, and product and service characteristic factors were classified and examined. As a result of the study, the motive for using the service that affects the satisfaction of the subscription economy service was found to be functional hedonic, and economic motive, and platform recency and convenience, economic utility, and perceived personalization had a positive effect. Functional and hedonic motives and convenience showed positive influences on continued use intention, while social motives showed negative influences. In addition, it was confirmed that economic motivation, platform recency, economic utility, and perceived personalization showed a positive influence on the intention to continued use intention by mediating satisfaction with subscription economy services.

A Comparison of the Social Perception of Hairdressers (헤어미용사에 대한 사회적 인식 비교)

  • The purpose of this study is to compare the perceptions of hairdressers, hairdressers-to-be, and ordinary people on hairdressers. For this, 286 hairdressers, hairdressers-to-be, and ordinary people residing in Daegu and Gyeongbuk were surveyed and analyzed. The study results are as follows: First, the job preferred by hairdressers is running their own salon. Most of those involved in the beauty industry considered that anyone who has an aesthetic sense can become a hairdresser, the average education level is college, and 5-10 years of experience would be adequate. On the other hand, the majority of the ordinary people thought different. Second, most of the hairdressers thought that professional theoretical knowledge and skills are required for hairdressers and that they have the role of leading beauty. On the other hand, the majority of the hairdressers-to-be and ordinary people considered that what it takes to become hairdressers are design sense and creativity and that they should take the responsibility of cleanliness and service. Meanwhile, all the research subjects shared common ideas that the competence required for hairdressers is skills and female hairdressers are preferred. Third, the most common cause for hairdressers to move from a workplace to another was wage-related issues, and the most answered entry-level salary was between KRW 1 million and 1.5 million and average working hours a day 9-10 hours. Fourth, the research subject groups showed significant differences in their perception of the occupation of hairdresser. The results suggest that although the social perception of hairdressers is improving, ordinary people still need to change their perception.
