Ceremonial Bojagi used in Yeongjo Jeongsun Wanghu's Royal Wedding in Living Culture Perspective (영조·정순왕후 가례에 사용된 보자기의 상징성과 생활문화적 의미에 관한 고찰)

  • This study is on the usage of bojagi recorded in Yeongjo Jeongsun Wanghu garye dogam uigwe. Major findings are as follows. The eighteenth century marked a period of entrenchment of Neo-Confucianism in the Joseon dynasty and the royal wedding was a tool to propagate Neo-Confucian values to the people. The bojagi used at King Yeongjo and Queen Jeongsun's wedding were made of simple red silk produced domestically to avoid extravagance. Uasge of costly flower-patterned silk from China was restricted to comply with the rules of the Kukhon jeongrye, which codified the royal marriage ceremony and the Sangbang jeongrye, which regulated royal attire. This modesty also shows King Yeongjo's determination to abandon lavishness.

한국산 쌀의 맥주 부원료로서의 특성

  • 국내에서 생산된 쌀 6품종의 맥주제조특성을 국내 및 미국의 맥주회사에서 사용되는 쌀로가 비교해 볼 때 국내쌀의 수분함량은 11.4∼12.6% 로 미국 맥주회사에서 사용되는 쌀의 수분함량 10.7% 보다 높았다. 장립종(long grain)이며 Indica 품종인 IR36은 전분량이 적으나 단백질 함량이나 amylose 함량이 높았다. 맥아 60%에 쌀 40%를 혼합하여 맥즙을 제조한 결과 색, 점도, pH, 수용성단백질, 추출물 함량(% extract), 당의 조성에서 Indica 품종은 Japonica 품종과 큰 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 국내에서 생산되는 쌀로 제조된 맥즙은 수용성 단백질, pH, 점도 등에서는 미국산 쌀로 제조된 맥즙과 큰 사치를 나타내지 않았으나 추출물함량은 약간 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 쌀을 혼합하여 제조한 맥즙의 glucose 와 maltose 함량은 맥아만으로 제조된 맥즙보다 더 낮았다.

  • 최근 서울시는 청계천의 유지용수 및 환경개선을 위해 한강물을 이용하였다. 이를 계기로 앞으로 유사한 용도로 물을 사용하려는 지방자치단체의 수요는 크게 증가할 것으로 예상된다. 이렇듯 환경을 개선하기 위한 용수의 수요는 이미 현실적인 문제로 대두되고 있음에도 이에 대한 기술적 분석이나 관련 제도가 잘 정비되지 않은 실정이며, 심지어 그 개념 및 용어의 정의조차 모호한 상황이다. '환경개선용수'는 간단하게는 '하천의 수질환경을 개선하고 하천의 기초 생태계를 보호하는 물'을 의미할 수 있다. 그러나 광의로는 효율적인 하천관리와 환경보전에 대한 국민들의 관심이 증가하면서 친수 공간 확대 등의 생활상의 필요까지도 포괄하는 개념이다. 환경개선용수로 인한 편익이란 수량 확보로 인한 수질 정화, 하천생태계 보전, 하천경관 개선, 유지유량 확보, 사회 생활환경 형성 등의 이득을 말한다. 본 연구의 목적은 일반적인 환경재의 가치평가기법을 조사하여 장단점을 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 환경개선용수에 의한 하천경관개선편익의 계량화 방향을 제시하는 것이다. 특히 수자원의 환경편익 계량화와 관련한 국내 외 연구를 폭넓게 참고하고자 한다. 전통적인 경제학의 영역에서 환경재는 일반적으로 사치재로 분류할 수 있다. 따라서 국민소득수준의 향상에 따라 환경에 대한 사회적 욕구도 증가할 것이며, 이는 곧 환경개선에 의한 편익이 계속 증대될 것임을 의미한다. 수자원사업의 환경개선용수로 인한 편익의 계량화는 타당성분석의 신뢰성 향상으로 사업의 사회적 수용성을 높이는데 도움이 될 것으로 판단된다.

  • This paper proposes the track system with twin block sleeper for a LIM type maglev railroad. Because a LIM type maglev railroad is expected to be constructed in inner city, social costs can be required under construction. Accordingly, superstructure using precast plate was adopted and twin block sleeper which can be constructed together with precast plate was developed to reduce the construction period. To examine the structural safety of the proposed track system with twin block sleeper, the finite element analyses and the laboratory experiments were performed. Also, the workability of the proposed track system was investigated through the construction simulation test and construction experience in test bed.

  • The Supply side of performance arts has been pretty much developed since the establishment of ARCO. The development level of the demand side, however, was much lower than that of supply side. This unbalance make it difficult to achieve the goal and to complete the mission of ARCO's assistant to the performance arts. Unlike the existing research for solving this problem, this study suggests the positioning strategy of a new value of performance arts for solving this problem. This positioning is, instead of meeting the experiential and symbolic needs, targeting the functional needs to solve the life problems to be faced with aging, for example, the problems from education, human relationship and health. The new positioning will make the demand for the performance arts belong to the top priority group in the expenditure list of consumers because the perceived concept of performance arts will be changed from the "Wants" consumption to "Should be" consumption like a expenditure of private education for children and that of health problems. Therefore, this new positioning is surely expected that the development of new demand from the new position is pretty much higher than that of present positioning. This study also suggests practical strategies, PR and cross functional management system for the implementation of this new positioning.

  • 과거에는 시스템이 돌아가기만 하면 되지 편리함이나 사용자의 취향을 고려하는 것은 모두 사치라는 생각이 있었다. 그러나 현재는 단순히 사용성에 근거한 시스템만으로는 그 시스템이 좋은 시스템이라고 평가 받기에는 부족한 면이 있다. 이제는 시스템이 HCI 관점에서 평가되며, 이때 시스템개발의 최종목적은 단순히 동작하는 시스템을 만드는 것이 아니라 사용자들에게 최적의 경험을 제공할 수 있는 시스템을 개발하는 것이다. 이러한 최적의 경험은 시스템과의 상호작용이 유용하고, 편리하며, 직관적이어야 얻을 수 있다. 일반적으로 TV 리모컨은 화면에 미리 지정된 부분들을 순차적으로 이동하는 간접 이동 방식으로 매우 간단한 인터랙션만을 제공해 준다. 본 논문에서는 사용자에게 보다 직관적인 인터페이스를 제공해주기 위해 리모컨의 기능을 확장한 프로젝터 기반의 가상 리모컨을 제안한다. 가상리모컨은 사용자가 원하는 위치에 생성될 수 있으며, 기존의 TV 리모컨과 같이 미리 지정된 메뉴 사이를 이동해서 제한된 선택을 하는 것이 아니라, 보다 직관적인 인터페이스를 통해 직접 기기를 동작시키는 가상 체험을 느끼면서 조작할 수 있도록 해 준다. 실험을 통해, 기존의 TV 리모컨이 일정한 학습을 필요로 했던 것과는 달리, 체험자들은 사전 학습없이 TV의 주요 기능을 가상리모컨을 사용함으로써 쉽고 빠르게 컨트롤할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • Jia yi had a critical mind on the gap between the rich and the poor, sumptuous moods, reducement of agriculture productive population in West Han Dynasty period. It is to the collapse of social economic order, the moral degeneracy and the fiscal drain in West Han Dynasty. Jia yi analyzed the social problem of West Han Dynasty, suggested economic policy at one's own perspective. To solve the problem of the permissive policy of the Han Dynasty, He suggested a economic reform of phvsiocracy & business repression. And he was concerned about a reform monetary system. His reform policy was theoretical basis of Economic Thought of Jia yi. This paper focused his reform policy around phvsiocracy & business repression & private mintage prohibition policy.

An Investigation on the Impact of Psychological Factor on the Adoption of Mobile Device: Based on the Preferences of iPhone in China (모바일 기기 수용에 대한 심리적 요인에 대한 고찰: 중국 내 아이폰 선호를 중심으로)

  • This study investigates the impact of social-face sensitivity of smartphones on the adoption of iPhone in China. Social-face sensitivity is divided into three dimensions, namely, other-directed sensitivity, self-directed sensitivity, and formality-directed sensitivity. We surveyed 218 university students in China through an online survey site. The results showed that formality-directed and other-directed sensitivity have significant impacts on iPhone preferences. Self-directed sensitivity was not significant. We investigated two moderate variables, namely, financial ability and brand sensitivity. Both variables showed significantly moderate impacts on the intention to purchase iPhone. The impact of social-face sensitivity on iPhone preferences implies that the iPhone has dual characteristics to the Chinese, namely, as utility and luxury goods. This finding offers managerial implications for Apple and other mobile service companies in terms of production and marketing strategies.

A Survey on Practices and Attitude toward Wedding Food among Housewives in Busan and Kyungnam Area (부산.경남지역 주부들의 혼례음식 관행과 태도에 관한 조사)

  • This study is to describe practices of and attitude toward traditional wedding food and the attitude of housewives toward the traditional wedding food in Busan metropolitan and Kyungnam province area. Data were analyzed from the convenient sample of 525 housewives collected from September 20 to September 28, 2001. As for the necessity of traditional wedding food, the most popular food was ebagee food, pebaek food, yedan food in order. Of the various kinds of traditional wedding food, table setting for parent-in-law was chosen as the most popular one. Sociodemographic characteristics such as education level and age were statistically associated with perception of traditional wedding food being necessary as a ritual thing. The respondents preferred rice cakes as wedding food to fishes, fruits, traditional sweets and skewered slices of seasoned meats. More than half of the respondents think current practices of wedding food is prodigal and has to be done in thrifty manner. As a ritual practices of wedding food were to be readjusted to the change of social custom depending on the degree of modernization. More than half (52.1%) of the housewives expected traditional wedding food should fade away. A conclusion was that it is necessary to develop modernized wedding food reflecting traditional wedding customs with economic costs.

A comparison study on price discount of bi-national product (복합원산지제품의 가격할인에 대한 비교연구)

  • This study aims to explain the cause of price differences of bi-national products based on consumer response of product type, distribution channel, and consumer nationality, respectively. Specifically this study investigated whether price discount and distribution channel affect consumer evaluation by luxury and non-luxury product type. In the case of bi-national product toward the non-luxury, price discount had positive influence on preference, regardless of distribution channel. By revealing the influence of price discount on bi-national products on consumer response of product type and distribution channel respectively, the study suggests meaningful implications for the strategic management of bi-national products.
