Livestock Disease Forecasting and Smart Livestock Farm Integrated Control System based on Cloud Computing (클라우드 컴퓨팅기반 가축 질병 예찰 및 스마트 축사 통합 관제 시스템)

  • Livestock disease is a very important issue in the livestock industry because if livestock disease is not responded quickly enough, its damage can be devastating. To solve the issues involving the occurrence of livestock disease, it is necessary to diagnose in advance the status of livestock disease and develop systematic and scientific livestock feeding technologies. However, there is a lack of domestic studies on such technologies in Korea. This paper, therefore, proposes Livestock Disease Forecasting and Livestock Farm Integrated Control System using Cloud Computing to quickly manage livestock disease. The proposed system collects a variety of livestock data from wireless sensor networks and application. Moreover, it saves and manages the data with the use of the column-oriented database Hadoop HBase, a column-oriented database management system. This provides livestock disease forecasting and livestock farm integrated controlling service through MapReduce Model-based parallel data processing. Lastly, it also provides REST-based web service so that users can receive the service on various platforms, such as PCs or mobile devices.

  • Our proposed system, MobiAutoBot, is a conceptual model of robotics process automation software at a cognitive automation level that can support mobile devices. MobiAutoBot consists of two parts: MobiAutoBot controller and MobiAutoBot runner. The MobiAutoBot controller directs, monitors, and interacts the Job on the mobile device, and the MobiAutoBot runner installed on the mobile device performs the commanded operation. If we provide automation for mobile devices to small businesses through our proposed MobiAutoBot, we can build low-cost robotic process automation functions that can be linked to existing information systems with mobile devices such as simple smartphones, even without an expensive information-based infrastructure. Our proposal is expected to serve as an opportunity to spread automation of robotics processes even to small and medium-sized companies and individual users who are difficult to equip with all information system infrastructure.

Study on Healing Game based on Lazzro's 'Four Keys to Fun' (Lazzro의 '4가지 재미요소' 기반 힐링 게임 특성 분석)

  • Recently, some games with physical and mental healing function are released. The healing games tend to make people relax. With the features of simple healing contents, the healing games provide users psychological stability more than strong stimulus. The games don't give users continuous excitement, so the popularity of the games goes down soon. In this paper, we investigate domestic and international healing games on the basis of the platform, such as mobile, console and PC. We analyze the feature of healing games with the four keys to fun(Hard Fun, Easy Fun, Serious Fun, People Fun) suggested by Nicole Lazzro. By this analysis, we find how much of the 4 keys to fun the games include and the correlation between the 4 keys to fun and the popularity of the healing games.

  • The paper proposes an analytical framework for the impact of technical change on business model innovation. Based upon the examination of the relationship between the mission of business and technology, it introduces classification of technology-based business models such as problem-solving model, production model and network model, respectively employing intensive technology, interlinked technology and mediating technology as a key technology. The discussion of various cases of business model innovation shows that the impact of digital technology is first translated into the value generation in terms of efficiency or effectiveness. These new values then enable a new business model which is based on a different key technology through business model shift, expansion, unbundling, or platform. Quite often those business model changes involves system-wide innovation. The framework for the analysis of the impact of technical change on business model innovation is presented with directions for future research.

Development of a Flood Model GUI using Open Source Software (오픈소스 소프트웨어를 이용한 침수해석 모형 GUI 개발)

  • 본 논문에서는 격자 기반의 2차원 침수해석 모형인 G2D(Grid based 2-Dimensional land surface flood model)의 GUI 개발에 대해서 기술하였다. G2D 모형은 ASCII 래스터 포맷의 DEM을 이용하여 정형 사각격자로 구성되는 침수모의 도메인을 설정하고, 수위, 수심, 유량 등의 경계조건과 강우와 유량을 연속방정식의 생성항으로 사용하여 2차원 침수모의를 한다. 주요한 침수모의 결과는 ASCII 래스터 포맷을 가지는 수심과 수위 등이다. 이와 같이 G2D 모형은 ASCII 래스터 파일을 주로 이용하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 우선 래스터 파일의 전후처리와 침수모의 결과의 가시화에 대한 편의성을 높이기 위해서 GIS 소프트웨어를 이용하여 GUI를 개발하고자 하였다. 이와 더불어 사용자들이 소프트웨어 구매 비용에 대한 부담을 없애고, 편리하게 사용할 수 있는 오픈소스 소프트웨어를 이용하고자 하였으며, 이 두 가지 조건을 만족할 수 있는 QGIS를 이용해서 G2D 모형의 GUI인 QGIS-G2D를 개발하였다. QGIS-G2D는 QGIS의 plug-in으로 실행된다. QGIS-G2D는 G2D 모형의 실행에 필요한 프로젝트 파일(.g2p)을 GUI를 이용해서 만들 수 있으며, 모의결과를 애니매이션 등으로 가시화 할 수 있는 후처리 기능을 포함하고 있다. 또한 QGIS-G2D는 DEM 수정 기능과 같이 G2D 모형의 입력자료 전처리를 위해서 QGIS plug-in으로 제공되는 여러 가지 기능을 함께 이용할 수 있다. 또한 물리적 분포형 강우-유출 모형인 GRM(Grid based Rainfall-runoff Model)의 QGIS plug-in인 QGIS-GRM과 연계하여, 유역 유출모의와 침수모의를 QGIS 환경에서 함께 수행할 수도 있다. 개발된 소프트웨어는 오픈소스 플랫폼인 GitHub(https://github.com/floodmodel/)를 통해서 제공된다. 본 연구를 통해서 홍수해석에 필요한 강우-유출 모의와 침수모의를 위한 모형을 제공하고, 이를 편리하게 활용할 수 있는 오픈소스 소프트웨어를 제공할 수 있었다. 이러한 연구들은 홍수 분야의 전문가들에 의해서 다양한 분야의 홍수해석에 사용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

  • Privacy protection can only be achieved by enforcing privacy policies within an enterprise's on and offline data processing systems. There are P-RBAC model and purpose based model and obligations model among privacy policy models. But only these models each can not dynamically deal with the rapidly changing business environment. Even though users are in the same role, on occasion, secure system has to opt for a figure among them who is smart, capable and supremely confident and to give him/her a special mission during a given period and to strengthen privacy protection by permitting to present fluently access control conditions. For this, we propose Integrated Privacy Protection Model based on RBAC. Our model includes purpose model and P-RBAC and obligation model. And lastly, we define high level policy language model based XML to be independent of platforms and applications.

An Inspection/Maintenance Job Scheduling Management Method by Using Location Information based on Wi-Fi AP Connection History (Wi-Fi AP 접속 기록 기반 위치 정보를 이용한 점검/유지보수 작업 스케줄 관리 방법)

  • In this paper, we propose a location-based service that the user's location is known by connection history to WI-FI AP installed in a facility known its location previously. The location-based service proposed in this paper manages job processing states of technicians who inspect and maintain the facility like elevator by using worker's location and arrival time information. The job scheduling management method proposed in this paper is based on previously scheduled arrival time and actual arrival time to a target facility. And we experimentally implemented the inspection and maintenance system of an elevator to show the feasibility of job schedule management based on location and arrival time information acquired from Wi-Fi AP connection history. Our experimental implementation shows that our proposed method is usefulness in the field of the inspection and maintenance of a facility.

  • Data is the core of AI technology. With the development of technology, AI technology is also accelerating as the amount of data increases explosively than before. However, compared to the interest in AI education, research on data education with AI is still insufficient. According to the case analysis of exsisting AI data education, there were cases of educating the process and part of data science, but it was hard to find studies related to data collection. Cause physical computing tools have a positive effect on AI education for elementary school students, data collection cases using tools were studied, but researches related to data collection were rare. Therefore, in this study, an efficient data collection method using physical tools was designed. A structural diagram of a data collection program was created using COBL S, a modular physical computing teaching tool, and examples of program screens from the service side and the user side were configured. This study has limitations in that the establishment of an AI education platform that can be used in conjunction with future program production and programs should be prioritized as a proposal in terms of design.

  • As face-to-face social exchanges are limited by the pandemic, the influence of the metaverse, a virtual space crosses virtual and reality, is gradually expanding. Various metaverse platforms are currently taking advanced AI technology to provide users with a more diverse experience. However, as a result, if AI-human communion in the metaverse space is as active as the relationship between humans, this may lead to side effects that threaten humanity. This study emphasized the value of empathy as a way to minimize the side effects, and suggested that the concept and role of empathy need to be expanded. Accordingly, we conducted an empirical study to examine the difference between social relationship in the metaverse and in real life at the current level, and based on the results, we predicted the future social relationship in the environment where AI was applied to the metaverse. Combining the study, we proposed "Digital Human Empathy" for human dignity in the digital age.
