서울시내 산업간호사의 업무수행과 직무만족, 지식과의 관계

  • 본 연구는 산업간호사가 수행하는 산업간호업무 수행실태를 파악하고 업무수행에 영향을 미치는 요인이 무엇인지를 직무만족도와 지식의 측면에서 조사 분석하기 위한 목적으로 이 연구를 시도하였다. 연구방법은 1991년 4월 26일 부터 5일 3일까지의 총 8일간 서울시내에 소재하고 있는 사업체의 산업간호사 77명을 대상으로 연구자와 조사자 1명이 직접방문을 하여 자료수집 하였다. 자료는 SPSS를 이용하여 전산처리 하였다. 실수와 백분율, 평균 표준편차를 구하였으며, Pearson Correlation Coefficient, ANOVA 분석방법올 활용하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 산업 간호업무 수행 정도는 근로자건강관리업무 중의 통상질환관리 업무를 대상자의 97.6%가 실시하여 수행정도가 가장 높았고, 가장 수행정도가 낮은 업무는 근로자복리중 진업무로 대상자의 40.2%만이 실시하고 있었다. 산업환경위생관리업무(실시율 45.5%), 직업병 관리업무(실시율 43.1%), 산업보건교육업무(실시율41.5%)로 역시 낮은 실시율을 보였다. 2. 산업간호사 직무만족도는 최대가능점수 240점에 대하여 점수 143.8점이며 최대평점 5점에 평점 3.0으로 나타났고 상호작용, 전문적위치, 자율성면에서 3.4점으로 높았으며 보수에 관한 만족도는 평점 2.3으로 가장 낮아 산업간호사들이 보수에 대해 불만족하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 3. 산업간호사의 산업간호업무 관계지식정도는 최대가능점수 21점에 대하여 점수 17.9점을 나타내었다. 영역별로 가장 많이 알고 있는 지식은 건강관리실운영업무 관계지식으로 정확하게 알고있는 사람이 63명으로 전체의 81.4%이었고, 가장 낮게 알고 있는 지식은 산업환경위생관리 업무 관계지식으로 정답자는 42명(54.2%)이었다. 4. 산업간호업무 수행정도와 직무만족도 및 지식정도와의 상관관계를 분석하여 본 결과 직무만족도가 높을수록 업무수행정도가 높은 것으로 나타났고 (r=.3010, P<.01), 업무수행정도와 지식정도 역시 순상관관계 (r=.2591, P<.05)가 있음이 통계적으로 유의하여 지식정도가 높을수록 업무수행정도가 높음을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 직무만족도와 지식정도는 상관관계가 없었다. 결론적으로 연구에서 나타난 산업 간호사의 업무수행은 통상질환관리 위주의 업무로서 직업병 예방, 산업보건교육, 산업환경위생관리 업무등에는 수행이 미비한 것으로 나타났으며, 업무수행과 직무만족도 및 지식정도는 순상관관계가 있어 직무만족도와 지식정도가 높을수록 업무수행이 높은 것으로 나타났다.

An Estimation of Economic Base Multipliers of Rural Centers (농촌중심지의 경제기반승수 추정)

  • This study estimates the levels of the basic and nonbasic activities in five rural centers in Cheongwon County by using the direct survey method and indirect non-survey methods. The economic base multipliers obtained through direct survey method and indirect non-survey methods are compared to find out the advantages and disadvantages of the estimation methods. There are some limitations in applying non-survey methods for economic base estimation. It is found that, among three non-survey methods, multipliers obtained through minimum requirements method are better than other two methods in terms of the theoretical assumption. However, if we use direct survey data and in-commuter/out-commuter data, we can obtain more accurate multiplier estimates.

An Analysis of the Effects of Unions on Wages for Female Workers (우리나라 노동조합이 여성근로자의 임금에 미치는 영향)

  • This study analyzed the effects of labor unions on the wages of Korean female workers using 'Korean Labor and Income Panel Study.' In the estimation we considered the self-selection bias due to the women's labor force participation decision and a plausible non-response bias from not answering the question about the company size in terms of number of employees. By fixed effect estimation we found that labor unions in Korea do not increase the wages of both the female union workers and non-union workers who work at a company in which a union is organized comparing to female workers who work at company without a union. This results indicates that female workers who work in the company with labor union tend to have unobserved characteristics that are positively correlated with both wages and the probability to enter the company with labor union. We also came to the conclusion that there is no free-rider effects of non-union workers.

The Selection and Decision in R&D and Patents: A Hurdle Negative Binomial Approach (허들음이항모형을 이용한 기업의 혁신선택과 특허성과의 결정요인에 관한 연구)

  • There have been various researches on the relationship between a company's R&D investment and the outcome from innovation. However, these studies failed to effectively analyze the decision-making process followed by companies in relation to knowledge production. Especially, in analyzing the patent of companies, the Poisson model has been commonly used, but its limitations have been pointed out. In recent years, many studies have adopted negative binomial models, but they still pose limitations in analyzing the selection process. This paper proposed a hurdle negative binomial model to effectively reflect the company's decision embedded within patent information and conduct an empirical analysis on a survey of businesses' activities. In particular, the study analyzed the selection process of companies in determining the number of patents. As a result of estimation, the presence of over-dispersion was identified. In addition, the Wald-test confirmed that setting up of hurdles was valid, and there was a difference between the results of hurdle models and those of general negative binomial settings.

  • Though start-ups by small businessmen are increasing year by year, the success rate of start-ups have been low. Accordingly, it is necessary to look at various ways to improve the success rate of start-ups by small businessmen. Most previous studies on the issue have focused on identifying influential factors that lead to the success and growth of start-ups by them, mostly based upon quantitative perspectives. Few has approaced with qualitative perspective such as actual case studies in academic papers. In this study, after analyzing a wide range of successful cases of start-ups by small businessmen, we will develop countermeasures by business types and suggest practical lessons that can be appropriately utilized in starting a new small business.

The Effects of Online-based Lifelong Education Program through Key Words Card Production and Class Demonstration on Job Preparation Skills for Workplace of Workers with Developmental Disabilities (핵심어 카드 제작 및 수업시연 온라인 평생교육프로그램이 시간제 발달장애 근로자의 직장출근준비기술에 미치는 효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to verify the effects of the online lifelong education program which is a key words card production and demonstration on the job preparation skills for work for part-time developmental disabilities. The subjects of this study were three developmental disabilities workers working in a restaurant business on a part-time basis, and the experimental environment was composed of the home and subway stations where they reside. The study method used a single subject study, and the baseline, intervention, and maintenance were reflected as the design conditions of the experiment. As a result, the subjects of the study effectively acquired and maintained the job preparation skills for work work through the online lifelong education program for the production and demonstration of key words cards. Through the results of this study, it was possible to discuss and conclude that the significant functional relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variables is valid.

Exploring Job Changes for Disabled Workers Due to COVID-19 (COVID-19 사태로 인한 장애근로자의 일자리 변화 탐색)

  • This study was conducted for the purpose of exploring the experiences of workers with disabilities on job change according to the COVID-19 situation. To this end, the data from the 2020 survey on economic activity for the disabled and data from the National Statistical Office were used, and the analysis was conducted using a literature study method. The results were as follows. First, COVID-19 had caused a change in the working pattern of wage workers with disabilities. Second, the degree of employment security for the disabled had deteriorated after COVID-19. Third, non-wage workers were experiencing difficulties in business operation due to COVID-19. Fourth, it had affected the resignation due to COVID-19. Fifth, there were difficulties in finding a job due to COVID-19. Through this, it was found that the economic activities of the disabled were being greatly restricted due to COVID-19. Accordingly, a proposal for a solution was made. This study is meaningful in that it explored the instability of the domestic disabled people's labor market due to COVID-19 based on data.

Geographical Characteristics of Business Start-up and Closing Business according to the Type of Industry (업종별 창업 및 폐업의 지리적 특성 분석)

  • In this study, we examine business start-up and closing business in a geographical context. In particular, we analyze the geographical characteristics of business start-up and closing business according to the type of industry. For the purpose, we use the last 10 years data that have been related with current economic situation since the financial crisis. In first, we identify the spatial distribution patterns of business start-up and closing business, We examine the difference between individual businesses and corporations. Finally, we construct general linear regression models and spatial regression models for them, and derive meaningful socioeconomic variables that explain their location distribution. The results of this study could provide basic data for regional planning of national and local governments that activate local economies as well as job creation.

A Comparative Study on the Performance of Retailers in Korea: Focus on the Growth of Non-­store e-­commerce Business (우리나라 소매업태 간의 경영성과에 관한 비교 연구 - 무점포통신판매업의 성장을 중심으로 -)

  • This study addresses the management performance of the retail industry in Korea. The Non-store e-commerce business, consisting of TV home shopping and online shopping, grew very fast during the 2000s. For roughly six years in the 2010s, the diversification of online shopping business models, intensifying competition, and the proliferation of competition accelerated the entry of offline shopping retailers. During the analysis period from 2001 to 2016, the performance of the Non-­store e-commerce business was statistically better than that of the offline shopping retail business, department stores, general retailers, and small­-sized retailers. As expected, a significant difference between performance and some of the indicators of growth and activity could be seen because of the capital and operating structure of the retail industry. In particular, the Non-store e-commerce businesses have diverse sales media and heterogeneous business models. In this study, we have presented the significance of the differences in the indicators of operating profit and inventory turnover, as well as the discussion required for managing in the future.

The Lived Experiences of Employers among Employment of the Mentally Disabled People (고용주의 정신장애인 고용경험에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate in depth the lived employers experiences of utilizing employment among people with mentally disabilities. Phenomenological approach was used for this study. A total of 9 employer on work of the mentally disabled people were recruited as research participants Data was collected through in-depth interviews from March, 2017 to September, 2018. Transcribed data from audio recordings on interviews were analyzed using the Braun & Clarke method. 6 clustered themes consisting of 12 sub-themes emerged through the qualitative data analysis and they include the following: 1) Getting to realize that a vague concern; 2) Being forced to withstand others' persuasion; 3) Fluctuating on boundaries of my work; 4) Moving forward from individual to team; 5) Being together work expected workers with mentally disabled; and 6) Seeking for company progress. Study findings suggest that expanding employment and improving its quality for work of the mentally disabled people are needed. Additionally, the field of mental health needs an increase in the experiences of employment with expertise in dealing with employers on work of the mentally disabled people.
