A Study on Definition Related to Passive and Causative in Korean Dictionary. (피동·사동과 관련한 국어사전의 뜻풀이에 대하여)

  • When defining the word related to passive and causative in Korean dictionary, the meaning of headword can be explained by linking them to other related words. The link could be expressed into two forms; the one is 'passive verb causative verb of A' and the other is 'passive form causative form of A.' Whichever the dictionary takes, the important thing is that the content to which it refer should be correct. However the format of 'passive verb causative verb of A' and 'passive form causative form of A' is problematic because the definition of headword does not contain semantic information but syntactic or morphological information. Generic concept 'passive form causative form' and 'passive verb causative verb' refers to respectively morphological and syntactic level but specific concept 'A' refers to semantic level. These morphological, syntactic and semantic level can not be a same dimension so the size of their denotation can not be compared. The way of transform syntactic dimension 'passive verb causative verb' and morphological dimension 'passive form causative form' into semantic dimension is removing 'verb' and 'form' from 'passive verb causative verb' and 'passive form causative form' respectively. Therefore the expression 'passive verb causative verb of A' or 'passive form causative form of A' ought be changed into 'passive causative of A.'

Application of Removable Ground Anchor Using Auto back Equipment (Auto back 인장장치를 이용한 제거식 앵커의 적용성)

  • It is growing the application of the removal ground anchor with tension force for earth retaining constructions in the downtown. Nowadays, we can find the compression dispersion anchor on many site. But, it is occur some probelems in behabior of anchors because of impossible to tense p.c strand uniformly with existing equipment due to different length of p.c strand. So we tried to tense each p.c strand uniformly with auto back equipment in-situ test. This study compared and analyzed apply to elastic theory in-situ test results of an existing equipment with those of auto back equipment. As a result of the test, It has been proved that differences of tension force in the existing equipment increases with increasing the number of p.c strand. This can cause an ultimate failure of the concentrated p.c strand and a shear failure of ground. So it has been proved that auto back equipment is necessary.

Study on Agricultural Science Convergence R&D Agenda under the Fourth Industry Revolution (4차 산업혁명 관련 농학계 융·복합 R&D 어젠다 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose agenda concerning the direction of agricultural science convergence research and development (R&D) under the fourth industrial revolution. For this study, we apply the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) targeted at experts in the fields of agricultural academia and research operating R&D currently. Results suggest the following agendas; first, human resource training toward future is more emphasized rather than fragmentary technology innovation. Second, a flexible road map for agricultural science R&D need to be made for responding to short and long term issues relevant to the innovation. Third, mutual exchange and cooperative system need to be constructed between academia and research in order to create synergy effects. Finally, both institutional improvement and humanistic literacy should be emphasized for rapidly changing conditions and better human life under the fourth industrial revolution.

The Processing of Causative and Passive Verbs in Korean (한국어의 사.피동문 처리에 관한 연구:실어증 환자의 처리 양상을 바탕으로)

  • 본 연구에서는 한국어의 사·피동문을 실어증 환자가 처리하는 양상에 대하여 살펴보았다. 한국어의 사·피동문은 용언에 파생접사가 붙어 이루어지는 경우와 '-게 하다'나 '-어 지다'와 같이 구문 변형으로 하여, 실어증 환자에게 실험을 하였다. 실험에 참여한 환자는 명칭성 실어증 환자, 이해성 실어증 환자, 표현성 실어증 환자, 전반성 실어증 환자로 구성되어 있다. 본 실험에서는 단어 채워 넣기 과제(word completion task)를 사용하였다. 명칭성 실어증 환자의 경우 피동에서는 처리 오류를 보이는 반면, 사동에는 아무런 문제도 보이지 않았다. 표현성 실어증 환자의 경우, <피동-비변형>에서 오류를 많이 보였다. 이를 통해 한국어의 사·피동은 영어와 달리 통사상의 문제가 아니라는 결론을 내릴 수 있다. 즉 이미 사·피동 접사에 의해 파생된 단어가 어휘부에 저장되어 있고, 각 단어의 논항 정보에 따라 문장이 생성되는 것이다. 표현성 실어증 환자가 피동의 비변형에서 지배적인 오류를 보이는 것은 피동의 비변형이 타동사로서 변형인 피동형에 비해 하나의 논항을 더 취하기 때문이다. 이해성 실어증 환자의 경우 사·피동 생성에 별 어려움을 보이지 않았다. 이는 이해성 실어증 환자가 개별 어휘의 논항 정보에 손실을 적게 입고 있음을 시사하는 결과이다. 본 연구에서는 서로 다른 유형을 보이는 환자들을 대상으로 한국어의 사·피동의 처리양상을 대조한 결과, 첫재 사·피동은 서로 다른 통사, 의미상의 처리 양상을 보이고 있고, 둘째 파생접사가 결합된 형태로 어휘부에 저장되어 있는 개별 사·피동사에 의해 형성되는 것임을 확인하였다.d CO2 quantity causes flame temperature to fall since at high strain retes diluent effect is prevailing and at low strain rates the products inhibits chain branching. As strain rate and CO2 quantity increase, NO production is remarkably augmented.our 10%를 대용한 것이 무첨가한 것보다 많이 단단해졌음을 알 수 있었다. 혼합중의 반죽의 조사형 전자현미경 관찰로 amarans flour로 대체한 gluten이 단단해졌음을 알수 있었다. 유화제 stearly 칼슘, 혹은 hemicellulase를 amarans 10% 대체한 밀가루에 첨가하면 확연히 비용적을 증대시킬 수 있다는 사실을 알 수 있었다. quinoa는 명아주과 Chenopodium에 속하고 페루, 볼리비아 등의 고산지에서 재배 되어지는 것을 시료로 사용하였다. quinoa 분말은 중량의 5-20%을 quinoa를 대체하고 더욱이 분말중량에 대하여 0-200ppm의 lipase를 lipid(밀가루의 2-3배)에 대하여 품질개량제로서 이용했다.

Solubilization of Insoluble Phosphates by Penicillium sp. GL-101 Isolated from Soil (토양에서 분리한 Penicillium sp. GL-101에 의한 난용성 인산염의 가용화)

  • Phosphate solubilizing microorganisms (1,000 bacteria and 200 fungi) were isolated from soil around Kyungnam and Kyungbook regions using potato dextrose agar-calcium phosphate medium. A fungus with the greatest phosphate solubilizing activity was selected and identified to Penicillium sp. GL-101, based on the morphological characteristics of conidiophore and conidia; flask shape of phialide, simple branching type of conidiophore, and columnar shape of conidial head, in malt extract agar and potato dextrose agar media. The optimum temperature and initial pH to solubilize rock phosphate in potato dextrose broth-rock phosphate medium were $25^{\circ}C$ and pH 7.5, respectively. In these optimum conditions, phosphate solubilizing activities of Penicillium sp. GL-101 against four types of insoluble phosphate: tricalcium-phosphate, aluminium phosphate, hydroxyapatite and rock phosphate, were quantitatively determined. As results, this fungus highly discharged free phosphates to the culture broth with the concentrations of 1,152 ppm against tricalcium-phosphate, 565 ppm against rock phosphate, 292 ppm against aluminium phosphate, and 217 ppm against hydroxyapatite, respectively.

Application of Exchange Equations for NH4-K NH4-Ca Equilibria (NH4-K 와 NH4-Ca 평형에 대한 양이온 치환식의 적용)

  • Ion exchange equilibria in bulk and rhizosphere soil collected from peach seedlings were studied to find exchange equations that could be used in chromatographic models dealing with movement and distribution of fertilizer ammonium and exchangeable cations in soil profiles. Soil samples were equilibrated with mixtures of $NH_4Cl$, KCI, and $CaCl_2$ solutions and then extracted with $Sr(NO_3)_2$ solution to determine exchangeable cation compositions at equilibrium. Exchange data were fitted to Vanselow's, Gapon's, and Kerr's equations, but those formulations did not adequately describe the equilibria. An empirical equation of the form : ${\frac{\alpha_i^m}{a_j^n}}=K{\frac{(iX)^{mPi}}{(jX)^{nPj}}}$ which has an exponent on each of the exchangeable cation concentrations could describe the equilibria very well over the range of treatments. In this equation ${\alpha}^i$ and ${\alpha}^j$ are activities of cation i and j with valences m and n respectively. (iX) and (jX) are concentrations of exchangeable cations. Mole or equivalent fractions can be considered as the exchangeable ion concentration unit. Arbitrary constants $P_i$ and $P_j$, and distribution coefficient K can be found with multiple regression for the logarithmic form of the equation.

Performance Evaluation of Anaerobic Bioreactors in Treating Swine Wastewater (양돈폐수 처리를 위한 혐기성 생물반응기의 성능 비교)

  • The effects of operating parameters on performance of upflow anaerobic sludge blanket(UASB). anaerobic filter(AF), and two-stage anaerobic sludge bed filter (ASBF) bioreactors in treating swine wastewater were evaluated by operating the lab-scale bioreactors upto hydraulic retention time(HRT) of 1 day and organic loading rate (OLR) of $5.1kg-COD/m^3{\cdot}d$ for 200 days. Swine wastewaters of which characteristics were affected by types of hog raising and seasons contained high concentrations of COD, SS, and ammonia. Inoculation of the bioreactors with waste sludge from anaerobic treatment facility of local municipal wastewater treatment plant was effective in developing biomass in the bioreactors. Acclimation period of the bioreactors with swine wastewaters required approximately 40 days, but that for AF and two-stage ASBF, which were filled with media, was faster than VASB. The bioreactors showed high and stable COD removal efficiency of 77~91% at influent T-N concentrations of 370~800mg/L but low and unstable COD removal efficiency of 24~94% at influent T-N concentrations of 760~1,310mg/L. It is essential to remove ammonia prior to anaerobic treatment since the concentrations of ammonia in swine wastewaters showed toxic effects to methanogenic bacteria. The bioreactors were effective in treating swine wastewaters with COD removal efficiency of 78.9~81.5% and biogas generation rate of $0.39{\sim}0.59m^3/kg-COD_r$ at OLR of $1.1{\sim}2.2kg-COD/m^3{\cdot}d$: however, an increase of OLR by reducing HRT and increasing influent COD caused decrease of COD removal efficiency. The extent of decrease in COD removal efficiency was higher in UASB than AF and two-stage ASBF. AF and two-stage ASBF anaerobic bioreactors were effective in treating varing characteristics of swine wastewaters since they showed high and stable COD removal efficiency at high OLR due to effective retention of biomass by media and staging.

Isolation and Characterization of the IAA Producing Methylotrophic Bacteria from Phyllosphere of Rice Cultivars(Oryza sativa L.) (벼(Oryza sativa L.)의 잎 면으로부터의 IAA를 생성하는 Methylotrophic Bacteria의 분리 선별 및 특성 비교)

  • In this study, we compared the levels of methylotrophic bacterial community diversity in the leaf samples of 19 rice cultivars collected from three regions of Korea. Nineteen pink pigmented isolates showing characteristic growth on methanol were obtained. Physiological and biochemical characters of each isolate were examined according to methods described in Bergey's Manual of Systematic Bacteriology. When phylotypes were defined by performing numerical analysis of 37 characteristics, four distinct clusters were formed. The two reference strains, Methylobacterium extorquens AM1 and Methylobacterium fujisawaense KACC10744 were found to group under cluster IV and cluster III respectively. Cluster I diverged on the basis of nitrate reduction and four isolates showed tolerance upto 0.5 M NaCl concentrations. Two strains in cluster I and III were found to possess methane utilizing properties. Most of the isolates in all the four clusters utilized monosaccharides, disaccharide and polyols as carbon source. When the isolates were subjected for indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) analysis in the presence of L-tryptophan, only 8 isolates exhibited IAA production. In addition, the nitrogen source in the medium was found to influence the IAA production. Addition of $(NH_4)_2SO_4$ in the medium led to a 2 to 30 fold increase in the indole synthesis. However, $KNO_3$, $NH_4NO_3$ and $NH_4Cl$ substitution did not significantly stimulate the synthesis of IAA in the growth medium. Result of gnotobiotic root elongation assay significantly increased roots and shoots lengths, and number of lateral roots, which is mediated by IAA production in the culture medium. The rice seedlings primary roots from seeds treated with methylotrophic isolates were on average 27 to 56% longer than the roots from seeds treated with the uninoculated seeds. In addition, application of different high concentrations of authentic IAA ($400g\;mL^{-1}$) to roots of rice seedlings inhibited root growth. However, the IAA concentration from 10 to $200g\;mL^{-1}$, IAA promoted root growth of rice seedlings. These results suggest that bacterial IAA plays a major role in the development of the host plant root system.
