Business Component Method using a Rule-Based Analysis Pattern (룰 기반 분석패턴을 사용한 비즈니스 컴포넌트 방법)

  • The existing CBD development methods deal with the analysis phase in a superficial manner. Applying such a superficial analysis to business applications with a number of subsystems makes analysis models be inconsistent with levels and styles, only depending on experiences of the analysts. This inconsistent analysis might cause more serious problems during the subsequent development phases, resulting in the failure of the projects. In this paper, we propose a rule-based analysis pattern that provides an analysis template for business applications. This pattern analyzes the concepts of business applications by using external events and internal rules that process the events. Employing this pattern, a huge business application can be developed by a couple of co-analysts who work together in a consistent and systematic manner. This paper also describes an efficient way to develop business components with the suggested analysis pattern using banking deposit case study through UML Components development process.

  • Interest of Business Model has been increased continuously in the enterprise ever since IT(Information Technology) is introduced in the Business sector. Though lots of company's effort to build Business Model which expected to give profit to company, there are no guarantee of Business Model's success. In the situation of shortest lifecycle of new technology, it's hard to guarantee Business Model based new technology will return profit with the result of excellent evaluation of technology. After find Timmers model, Julta model, Rappa model, Electronic Commerce Profit model, B2E Model and Affliation, Affliated B2E Business Frame, will propose advantage and disadvantage of these models. Comraded B2E Business Model will be extracted for Mobile Solution Company to achieve success in the market through analysis of relationship between Technology appraisal and business model.

  • In order to increase extensibility and reusability of business components, the variable things need to be analyzed from the analysis phase and identified as components. In this paper, we propose a rule-based analysis pattern, which can effectively extract object-based main concepts from a variable business process in the analysis phase and identify a variable business component by applying the pattern to the UML Components development process. It can make analysis artifacts consistent and readable for analysts with different level of knowledge and experience to apply the pattern to analysis of rule-based variable business processes. And also, variable business components can be easily identified by applying the pattern to the UML Components development process. In order to prove the feasibility of the pattern, we have applied the pattern the deposit and import/export subsystem of the banking domain. According to our experience, we can make the same business conceptual models between the deposit and import/export subsystem due to the main concepts suggested by the pattern and effectively identify a variable business components in the UML Components development process.

Multiple Case Analysis Study on Business Model Types and Components of Startups: Focusing on Leading Overseas Smart Farm Companies (스타트업의 비즈니스 모델 유형 및 구성요소에 대한 다중 사례 분석 연구: 해외 스마트팜 선도기업을 중심으로)

  • In order to secure sustainable competitiveness of startups, business model innovation is an important task to achieve competitive advantage by transforming the various elements that make up the business model. This study conducted a multi-case analysis study on leading smart farm companies around the world using an analysis framework based on business model theory. Through this, we sought to identify business model types and their constituent elements. For this, 19 companies were selected from the list of top 10 investment startups of the year for the past three years published by Agfunder, a global investment research company specializing in AgTech. Then data collection and analysis of the company cases were conducted according to the case study protocol. As a result of the study, the business model types were analyzed into four types: large-scale centralized production model, medium-to-large local distributed production model, small-scale hyperlocal modular FaaS model, and small-scale hyperlocal turnkey solution supply model. A comparative analysis was conducted on five business model components for each type, and strategic implications were derived through this. This study is expected to contribute to improving the competitiveness of domestic smart farm startups and diversifying their strategies by identifying the business models of overseas leading companies in the smart farm field using an academic analysis framework.

  • 현재 기업에서는 DW 및 BI 가 업무를 분석하는 수단으로 널리 사용되고 있다. 그러나 적절한 시점에서 기업의 의사결정을 위한 정보 수집 및 리포트 생성 사이에 통상 시간 차이가 발생한다. 이러한 데이터 지연의 원인으로는 업무 프로세스 및 시스템 통합화의 문제점 등을 들 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 데이터 지연의 문제를 처리할 수 있도록 실시간 비즈니스 모니터링을 위한 5 레이어 아키텍처와 이를 모델링하는 절차를 제안한다. 제시된 아키텍처는 비즈니스 이벤트 발생 과정을 모델링하는 요소를 통합하고, 수집된 비즈니스 속성에 대하여 실시간으로 액세스할 수 있게 한다.

  • The number of online video content distributors are rapidly increasing in N-screen environment. The purpose of this study is to analyze the business model of these distributors, especially Netflix and Hulu. Basis on STOF model, environmental domain, service domain, organization domain and financial domain of each company are analyzed and compared. This study finds that each company's business model had distinct characters in earlier stage. Netflix offered online and offline service in low cost, while Hulu offered up-to-date TV contents without fees. However, two companies' business models are getting similar. The result of this study shows that highly competitive environment and increasing content budget affect two companies to adopt similar business model to survive.

  • In this paper we present an integrated design methodology for relational database based on object-oriented analysis and design. The integrated design methodology is based on business profile and has six phases. In the first phase, business use cases are identified and described by macroactivity diagrams and then the macroactivity diagrams are transformed to detailed business activity diagrams by using objects, object flows and business worker's responsibilities. In the third phase, the detailed business activity diagrams are transformed to business class diagrams that describe the static structure of the entire business system based on detailed business activity diagrams. In the four phase, the business class diagrams are transformed to class diagrams that represent the initial conceptual model of the target relational database. In the five phase, we add additional transformations on the class diagrams with generalization and specialization of associations, roles, activities, additional classes and redundant associations. Eventually, the final class diagrams are transformed to relational database schema. The methodology presented in this paper by applying that proposal for organic connection between object-oriented analysis and design methodology and relational database design methodology. And it will be able to deal with integration management. By the integrated design methodology, we can make more easily software systems based on relational database. In the case study, proposal integrated design methodology applied for a visa issuing system.

  • 오늘날 기업에서의 IT 는 급격한 비즈니스 환경의 변화와 다양한 비즈니스 모델의 출현으로 인해 점점 더 복잡해지고 있고, 비즈니스의 IT 의존도 또한 지속적으로 증가하고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 기업의 정보시스템을 운영하는 IT 운영조직은 사용자에게 IT 서비스의 품질향상과 비즈니스의 연속성을 보장할 수 있는 지원체계를 필요로 하고 있다. 1990년대 후반에 들어서 ITIL 을 기반으로 한 ITSM 개념이 국내에 도입 되면서 기존의 콜센터와 헬프데스크를 통한 IT 서비스지원 방식을 서비스데스크로 통합하게 되었고, 서비스데스크 자동화 시스템의 도입을 통해 기업의 모든 비즈니스 조직의 IT 와 관련된 요구사항을 관리하고 있다. 하지만 이러한 서비스데스크 자동화 시스템은 IT 서비스 제공자 관점에서 구축되었고 운영방향 또한 어플리케이션, 서버, 네트워크 등 기술적인 구성요소의 성능 향상에만 초점을 두었기 때문에 현업 사용자들이 만족 할 수 있는 실질적인 수준의 서비스 개선은 이루어지지 못하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 고객관점에서의 요구사항 분석을 통해, 운영조직의 IT 서비스 요청에 대한 처리활동을 단순처리와 일반처리로 분류하고 이를 자동화 시스템에 반영 하였고, 실제 A 사(社)의 IT 운영조직에 적용하여, 비효율적인 저부가가치 활동과 고부가 가치의 활동이 시스템을 통해 분류가 가능함을 보였다. 아울러 IT 운영조직의 활동을 정량적으로 관리 할 수 있도록 관리지표를 발굴하고 자동화 시스템의 서비스요청관리 프로세스에 적용하여 IT 서비스를 제공받는 회사의 관리조직과 경영층이 IT 운영조직의 활동을 정량적으로 관리하고 측정할 수 있는 IT 서비스데스크 자동화 시스템의 개선모델을 제시 하였다.
