An eight-year-old, spayed female Shih-tzu, weighing 3.2 kg with a history of chronic intermittent vomiting and unknown pain for four months was referred. In ultrasonography, a small round hypoechoic mass was identified in the gastric wall. Gastric endoscopy showed a solitary raised mass with smooth surface in the pyloric antrum. Surgical resection was performed. Histopathologic findings with immunohistochemical studies showed extramedullary plasmacytoma in the gastric submucosal and muscle wall layer. The patient recovered normally without any complications. The tumor has not been re-occurred after surgical removal, to date.

구강안면동통 환자의 치료법으로 널리 쓰이는 전기요법은 연조직과 신경계 구조물에 대한 치료 시 중요한 역할을 담당하고 있다. 저자는 현재 구강안면동통의 치료법으로 널리 쓰이고 있는 전기요법들 중 경피성 신경자극(Transcutaneous electric nerve stimulation)과 전기침자극요법(Electroacupuncture stimulation therapy)이 각각의 신경섬유에 미치는 효과를 평가하고자 정상 성인 남녀 29명에게 경피성 신경자극 및 전기침자극을 시행하고 시행 전 및 시행 후 삼차신경 영역의 3가지 종류($A{\beta}$, $A{\delta}$, C fiber)의 신경섬유의 전류인지역치(CPT) 변화를 측정하여 그 차이점을 분석하였으며 이를 대조군과 비교하였다. 경피성 신경자극 및 전기침자극 모두에서 대조군에 비해 삼차신경 영역의 모든 신경섬유에 걸쳐 고른 전류인지역치의 증가를 나타내었으며, 경피성 신경자극과 전기침자극 후의 전류인지역치 변화량은 서로 유의할만한 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 이는 경피성 신경자극 과 전기침자극 모두 3가지 종류($A{\beta}$, $A{\delta}$, C fiber)의 감각신경섬유의 전류인지역치에 영향을 미치며, 구강안면동통의 감소에 효과적으로 사용될 수 있으리라 생각된다.

Haplotype analysis in SNP is very useful for the study of complex genetic disease due to low cost and high efficiency comparing to individual analysis of each SNP, and is functionally important in biological view. But, the gametic phase of haplotypes is usually unknown in SNP group, and it is difficult to predict haplotype proportions. In this study, haplotype proportions were estimated using EM algorithm from diploid data of SNP group in solid tumor group and normal group. From these results, linkage disequilibrium among SNPs was analyzed.

Dose response forDNA repair synthesis induced by various concentrations of MMC (0.05 $\\sim$ 0.5 $\\mu$g/ml) in HeLa $S_3$ cells was not dose-dependent and the amounts of it were relatively lower, representing $7\\sim9%$ of total DNA synthesizing cells in $0.1\\sim0.5 \\mug/ml$ concentrations. Time dependence study showed that MMC-induced DNA repair synthesis occurred as long as for 24 hours with similar incidences in all time courses. Pretreatment with BUdR was found to have a sensitization effect on MMC-induced DNA repair synthesis, but that with IUdR was not. Combined treatment with BUdR of IUdR and MMC suppressed remarkably the semiconservative DNA synthesis especially at later time course. These results seem to suggest that damages induced in DNA by MMC might be repaired by both fast and slow excision processes.

우주물체 전자광학 감시체계(OWL: Optical Wide-field Patrol)는 광학망원경을 통해 우주물체를 검출하는 시스템이다. 검출기 시스템의 하드웨어 구성은 Chopper, Filter Wheel, De-Rotator로 구성된 Wheel station과 CCD 카메라로 구성된다. Chopper는 CCD 영상에서 위성의 궤적을 자르는 역할을 하고 Filter Wheel은 관측대상의 파장 영역대를 선택하는 기능을 한다. 영상획득용 CCD카메라는 천문관측용 Full Frame 방식의 카메라를 사용하고 있으며 모델명 PL16803의 FLI 제품을 사용한다. 검출기시스템은 시스템 부팅 후 "Health check"를 통하여 검출기시스템의 상태를 점검하고 "과거이력관리" 및 "과거미처리 영상관리"를 점검하여 부팅 이전에 비상사태 등으로 인해, 비정상적으로 종료되어 처리되지 못한 명령이나 영상자료를 처리한다. 그리고 이에 대한 보고서를 기록하여 보관한다. 검출기시스템은 관측명령서(OCF: Observation Command File)를 받게 되면 자동 관측을 수행하며, 자동 관측 전에 "OCF 동기화"를 통하여 최신의 명령을 유지한다. 자동 관측이 종료된 후에는 획득한 영상을 처리하는 과정을 진행한다. 영상자료 처리과정 중에는 위성의 궤적을 "Line-Detection"을 통해 검출하고 World Coordinate System(WCS)를 계산 한 후, 이미지 상의 특정 위성 궤적의 좌표를 RA, DEC으로 표현되는 위치정보를 획득하도록 프로그램되어 있다. 이 외에도 운용 소프트웨어에는 자동 초점기능을 수행하는 기능도 포함하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 검출기 부분에 대한 설계 및 시험의 과정을 기술하였다.

High performance upper stage engine is necessary for space launch vehicles of geostationary orbit, and staged combustion cycle engine is suitable due to high specific impulse. Technology demonstration model for 9 tonf class staged combustion cycle engine, which is consisted of turbopump, preburner, combustion chamber and supply system, was assembled, and hot-firing test was conducted for three seconds in Upper-stage Engine Test Facility of Naro Space Center. Ignition, combustion and shut down of engine system was performed normally, and its performance parameters were evaluated.

최근 들어 전 세계적으로 태풍과 가뭄 그리고 국지적인 호우 등의 기상변화로 인하여 수자원 종합적인 개발과 이용계획에 대한 전문적인 예측이 필요하다. 우리나라는 홍수기에 집중적인 강우 발생으로 인하여 평수기와 유입량 차이가 심한 수문특성을 가지고 있어 안정적인 수자원 공급에 대한 장기적인 관점에서 이수와 치수정책을 수립해야 한다. 본 연구는 1985년 1월부터 2008년 12월까지 24년에 해당하는 한정된 기간의 짧은 유출량 자료를 갖는 대청댐 유역에서의 시계열 유입량 특성을 Box-Jenkins모형 또는 ARIMA모형을 적용하여 추계학적 분석을 실시하였다. 월유입량과 같은 비정상성 시계열에 적용될 수 있는 적절한 추계학적 모형을 찾기 위하여 모형의 식별과 모형의 추정, 모형의 검진 등의 3단계에 걸친 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 대청댐 월유입량 예측모형으로 승법계절 ARIMA$(0,1,2){\times}(1,1,0)_{12}$이 유도되었으며, 이 모형으로 1, 3, 6, 12개월의 선행기간에 대한 실시간 유입량을 예측하였다. 예측된 유입량을 2008년 실측유입량과 비교한 결과 6개월에 대한 예측의 정확성이 가장 높게 나타났다. 또한 평수기와 홍수기를 구분한 예측도 실시하였으며, 평수기는 1개월 홍수기는 3개월 간격으로 예측하는 것이 가장 적절한 것으로 분석되었다.

Preflex beam is a method of construction to hold the Pre-compressive stresses over the concrete pier by the Preflexion load. During the fabrication of the girder, welding causes the welding residual stresses. The welding residual stresses must be relieved to generate the accurate compressive pre-stresses that is designed. On this study, to find out the thermal distribution characteristics on the girder by welding, both the three-dimensional finite element analysis and the two-dimensional finite element analysis in a quasi-steady state is carried out. After comparing with each result between the three-dimensional analysis and the two-dimensional analysis, finite element analysis is carried out against the actual girder and analyze welding thermal distribution characteristic over the preflex beam and obtain the input data for the analysis of the welding residual stresses.

This paper presents optimal design of direct-driven PM wind generator using MADS (Mesh Adaptive Direct Search). Optimal design of the direct-driven PM Wind Generator, combined with MADS and FEM (Finite Element Method), has been performed to maximize the Annual Energy Production (AEP) over the whole wind speed characterized by the statistical model of the wind speed distribution. In particular, the newly applied MADS contributes to reducing the computation time when compared with Genetic Algorithm (GA) implemented with the parallel computing method.

1인칭 슈팅 게임(FPS) 장르는 오래 전부터 우리 게이머들의 사랑을 받아 왔다. 특히 2016년에는 오버워치가 그리고 2017년에는 아직 정식 출시도 하지 않은 배틀그라운드가 게임 시장에서 돌풍을 일으켜 현재 PC방 점유율에서 2, 3위를 기록하고 있다. 같은 FPS 라도 실은 우리 게이머에게 가장 익숙한 밀리터리 형 FPS에 비해 오버워치와 배틀그라운드는 서로 다른 형식을 갖고 있으며 이에 따라 전투의 방식과 게임의 목표, 무기 및 스킬의 활용도에서 여러 가지 차별성을 보이고 있다. 이에 본 논문은 전통적 밀리터리 형 게임으로 10년 역사를 가진 아바(A.V.A.) 온라인 게임을 선정하고 이것과 오버워치, 배틀그라운드 3자 간 전투 방식과 무기, 스킬 등의 차이를 비교 분석하여 성공적인 FPS 게임 흥행의 이유를 밝혀 보고자 하였다.
