As Internet technology evolves, there is growing need of Internet queries involving multiple information sources. Efficient processing of such queries necessitates the integrated summary data that compactly represents the data distribution of the entire database scattered over many information sources. This paper presents an efficient method of managing the integrated summary data based on the wavelet transform and addresses Internet query processing using the integrated summary data. The simplest method for creating the integrated summary data would be to summarize the integrated data sidtribution obtained by merging the data distributions in multiple information sources. However, this method suffers from the high cost of transmitting storing and merging a large amount of data distribution. To overcome the drawbacks, we propose a new wavelet transform based method that creates the integrated summary data by merging multiple summary data and effective method for optimizing Internet queries using it A wavelet transformed summary data is converted to satisfy conditions for merging. Moreover i the merging process is very simpe owing to the properties of the wavelet transform. we formally derive the upper bound of the error of the wavelet transformed intergrated summary data. Compared with the histogram-based integrated summary data the wavelet transformedintegrated summary data provesto be 1.6~5.5 time more accurate when used for selectivity estimation in experiments. In processing Internet top-N queries involving 56 information sources using the integrated summary data reduces the processing cost to 1/44 of the cost of not using it.

This is an exploratory study to examine factors affecting South Korean companies' intentions to use big data technology and services based on whether the companies use public data or not. This study, using R, conducted chi-squared tests and logistic regression analysis. As a result of the logistic regression analysis, cost reduction had a positive effect on the big data-use intentions in companies that use public data, whereas with companies that do not use public data, customer satisfaction had a positive impact, and support for decision-making had a negative impact on the intention to use big data. Recently, the South Korean government has focused on improving the utilization of public data and big data. However, as a result of this study, the use of public data and big data in South Korea is still insufficient. Yet, considering that the data utilized for this study was created in 2017, additional study using public data and big data is also required.

Objectives : A self-made "Tomotherapy couch device" capable of correcting the Yaw direction was fabricated and evaluated for its usefulness. Materials and Methods : "Tomotherapy couch device" capable of correcting the Yaw direction is made of rigid fibreboard with a flexural strength of $200kg/cm^2$. CBCT Image from Novalis Tx and Iso-Align Phantom from MED-TEC were used to evaluate the physical accuracy. The treatment plan was designed using Accuray $Precision^{TM}$ and In House Head and Phantom. Accuray $PrecisionART^{TM}$ and $Precision^{TM}$ was used to evaluate dose. Results : Evaluation results, the self-fabricated device accurately corrected the setup error, Target dose was within 95 %~107 % of all. In order to directly evaluate the OAR dose according to the Yaw change, the absolute dose was measured. As a result, when the error in the Yaw direction was $3^{\circ}$, the specific OAR showed a maximum difference of 18.4 %. Conclusion : "Tomotherapy couch device" capable of correcting the Yaw direction can be manufactured at a lower cost compared to the effect, and it can prevent the patient's MVCT image dose for re-imaging. Accurate radiation therapy without errors can be performed.

Instead of hydraulic actuation systems, an electromechanical actuation system is more efficient in terms of weight, cost, and test evaluation in the thrust vector control of the 7-ton gimbal engine used in the Korea Space Launch Vehicle-II(KSLV-II) $3^{rd}$ stage. The electromechanical actuator is a kind of servo actuator with position feedback and uses a BLDC motor that can operate at high vacuum. In the case of the gimballed rocket engine, a synthetic resonance phenomenon may occur due to a combination of a vibration mode of the actuator itself, a bending mode of the launcher structure, and an inertial load of the gimbals engine. When the synthetic resonance occurs, the control of the rocket attitude becomes unstable. Therefore, the requirements for the stiffness have been applied in consideration of the gimbal engine characteristics, the support structure, and the actuating system. For the 7-ton gimbal engine of the KSLV-II $3^{rd}$ stage, the stiffness requirement of the actuation system is $3.94{\times}10^7N/m$, and the direct drive type electromechanical actuator is designed to satisfy this requirement. In this paper, an equivalent stiffness analysis model of a direct drive electromechanical actuator designed based on the stiffness requirements is proposed and verified by experimental results.

Communication between customers and service providers is an important issue at sites where various businesses and transactions take place. In particular, the ability to solve problems quickly and accurately when a problem arises and when an inquiry is received is directly linked to trust in the site. In this paper, we propose a method of handling complaints and inquiries of site users by using chatbot technology on talent market platform site. First, we implemented chatbot that can communicate with the inquirers in real time, so that users can use the site usage and word search functions. For various errors and problems of the site which can not be defined by a few words or sentences, I have specified an error code and database it. Users of the site were able to contact chatbot with the error code that was output when an error occurred and get the corresponding response in real time. The chatbot implemented in this study provided a satisfactory experience because that was able to provide quick and accurate answers to users who experienced errors or inquiries when using the site. This will have a positive impact on the credibility and favorability of the site over the long term, and will help reduce manpower and time costs for error inquiries.

In order to excavate underground tunnel most safely such as Han river, the slurry shield TBM method is applied to cope with face of high water pressure for many metro projects. In downtown subway project most of excavated soil is discharged externally whereas in road construction excavated soil is used as filling materials so it becomes important factor for success of the project. After excavated soil, weathered rock and soft rock are discharged with bentonite through discharge pipe to slurry treatment plant then those soils are separated in separation plant according to those size. Fine grained soil has been discarded together with filter cake but it is not toxic and can be mixed with coarse aggregate in proper ratio so this study is performed to find use of qualified filling material to meet quality standard. Therefore, in this study, legal standards and quality standards for the utilization of excavated soil of the slurry shield TBM method were examined and test was conducted to derive recycling way for filter cake and aggregate. And a plan for using it as a filling material for road construction was derived. Because bentonite is a clay composed of montmorillonite, and the excavated soil in the tunnel is also non-toxic, disposal of this material can waste social cost so it is expected to be helpful in the underground space development project that carries out the TBM project by recycling it as a valuable resource.
Geostationary Ocean Color Imager 2 (GOCI-II) on Geo-KOMPSAT-2 (GK2B)satellite was developed as a mission successor of GOCI on COMS which had been operated for around 10 years since launch in 2010 to observe and monitor ocean color around Korean peninsula. GOCI-II on GK2B was successfully launched in February of 2020 to continue for detection, monitoring, quantification, and prediction of short/long term changes of coastal ocean environment for marine science research and application purpose. GOCI-II had already finished IAC and IOT including early in-orbit calibration and had been handed over to NOSC (National Ocean Satellite Center) in KHOA (Korea Hydrographic and Oceanographic Agency). Radiometric calibration was periodically conducted using on-board solar calibration system in GOCI-II. The final calibrated gain and offset were applied and validated during IOT. And three video parameter sets for one day and 12 video parameter sets for a year was selected and transferred to NOSC for normal operation. Star measurement-based INR (Image Navigation and Registration) navigation filtering and landmark measurement-based image geometric correction were applied to meet the all INR requirements. The GOCI2 INR software was validated through INR IOT. In this paper, status and results of IOT, radiometric calibration and INR of GOCI-II are analysed and described.

In domestic public construction, disputes are increasing due to differences among stakeholders regarding contract price adjustment. In particular, the actual cost-plus fee for overhead costs due to the schedule extension cannot be agreed upon at the administrative phase, and most of them seek judicial judgment. Thus, this study aims to propose a 'sufficiently satisfactory' alternative to reach an agreement before disputes in order to minimize disputes related to the calculation of additional overhead costs. To this end, this study proposes three alternatives based on the rate method. Firstly, when calculating additional overhead costs, it is not calculated as an actual cost-plus-fee method, but as a rate compared to direct labor costs among net direct costs. Secondly, the calculated indirect labor costs are compensated for up to the legal maximum of legal limit costs such as general management costs, profits and so on. Thirdly, it reflects overhead costs increased or decreased due to change orders. Risks were analyzed by collecting expert opinions on the proposed methods and applying actual cases. Finally, as a result of investigating the level of consensus for each stakeholder, it was confirmed that all stakeholders could agree regardless of the size of the company. The result of this study is expected to as a useful tool among stakeholders in the construction fields that can be able to easily agreed upon.
In Musculoskeletal ultrasound examination, a linear transducer (12-5 MHz) with a contact surface length of 6 cm, which is commonly distributed in medical institutions, does not contact with bent fingers and wrist depressions only by using a conventional liquid ultrasound gel, which causes image loss. In order to solve this image loss, the use of commercially available Water gel pad is increasing. However, it is a disposable medical product. Repeated use is prohibited and expensive. In this study, in order to reduce the economic burden caused by the use of the commercialized Water gel Pad, we searched for water-soluble food thickener powder that can be easily purchased around our lives and manufactured Gel pads. Among them, kappa-Carrageenan Gel Pad, iota-Carrageenan Gel Pad, and Agar-Agar Gel Pad satisfied the evaluation criteria without artifacts in image evaluation using the N-365 Multipurpose Phantom. Also, the price to purchase the food thickener powder was about 38 times cheaper than the existing commercialized Water gel pad. As a result, if you use the food thickener powder such as kappa-Carrageenan, iota-Carrageenan and Agar-Agar to make solidified elastic Gel pad without a cover instead of the commercially available expensive disposable Water gel pad, the convenience and usefulness of use are improved. It is judged that the manufactured Gel pads can contribute well to the role of efficient ultrasound propagation medium.
The overseas calibration sites such as Mongolia used for Korea Multi-purpose Satellite (KOMPSAT-5 or K5), have a disadvantage in that maintenance and repair costs are high and immediate response is difficult when an unexpected problem occurs. Accordingly, the necessity of establishing a domestic SAR calibration site was suggested, but the progress of related research is insignificant. In this paper, we investigated what conditions should be satisfied in terms of backscattering characteristics to construct a site for SAR satellite image quality evaluation and calibration. First of all, it was selected first by applying general indicators such as accessibility and availability among places recommended as satellite image calibration candidate sitesin Korea. Next, three places, site A (Goheung-gun, Jeollanam-do), site B (Jeonju-si, Jeollabuk-do), and site C (Daedeok Research Complex, Daejeon), were selected as the final candidates because they are relatively wide and easy to install AT or CR. Site A, located in Goheung-gun, Jeollanam-do, was best considered in terms of slope measurements, minimum site area to obtain ISLR, uniformity of DN values and backscatter coefficients, interference by strong reflectors, and backscatter clutter level.
