Design and Fabrication of Broad-Band EMC Filter for Power Line (전원선에서의 광대역 EMC 필터의 설계 및 제작)

  • The proposed EMC filter composed with feed-through capacitors and ferrite beads of high permeability was prepared which satisfy the EMC standard for a wide-band noise signal in the frequence of 10 MHz to 1.5 GHz in power supply line. The optimum structure of ferrite bead was found by calculating the load effect of ferrite beads. As a result, the filter showed excellent differential- and common-mode noises filtering characteristics above 30dB in the frequency band from 10 MHz to 1.5 GHz. The immunity characteristics are improved more than 10 to 30 dB over the frequency band from DC to 1.8GHz.

Power Noise Suppression Methods Using Bead with Spiral Resonator (비드와 나선형 공진기를 이용한 전원 노이즈 저감 방안 연구)

  • In this paper, to the aim of wideband SSN(Simultaneous Switching Noise) suppression characteristic, investigation of spiral resonator are used in conjunction with bead which is commonly used for noise suppression method. Bead works effectively to suppress the power noise up to the first harmonic of fundamental frequency, 0.8 GHz, and spiral resonator suppress noise well in the frequency range of SRF(Self Resonance Frequency) which is inversely proportional to the length of spiral. Thus, when bead used in conjunction with a spiral the noise suppression characteristic is determined by the one of higher impedance element of the two in the frequency range and achieves more broadband filtering characteristic. The case for using 22 nH bead turns out 4.8, 2.0, 0, and, 0.6 dB, and the case for using 22 nH bead in conjunction with 3-turns spiral achieves more wideband characteristic of 9.5, 8.3, 6.1, and 9.9 dB power noise suppression performances at the first, second, third, and fourth harmonics, respectively. The peak-to-peak voltage levels decrease from 76 mV to 56 mV using 22 nH bead, and the level decrease rapidly to 34 mV when using in conjunction with bead and 3-turn spiral. Thus more wideband SSN suppression characteristic can be achieved using bead with spiral.

Fabrication and Characteristics of a Highly Sensitive GMR-SV Biosensor for Detecting of Micron Magnetic Beads (미크론 자성비드 검출용 바이오센서에 대한 고감도 GMR-SV 소자의 제작과 특성 연구)

  • 미크론 자성비드 검출용 바이오센서에 활용하는 GMR-SV 박막을 이온빔 스퍼터링 증착법으로 glass/Ta(5.8 nm)/NiFe(5 nm)/Cu(t nm)/NiFe(3 nm)/FeMn(12 nm)/Ta(5.8 nm)의 구조를 갖도록 증착하였다. 비자성체 Cu의 두께가 3.0 nm에서 2.2 nm까지 얇아질수록 교환결합력은 증가하였으며 자기저항비는 다소 낮았다. 비자성체의 두께가 얇으면 반강자성체의 층간 교환작용이 강자성체의 고정층 뿐만 아니라 자유층의 스핀배열에도 영향을 주고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 리소그래피 공정 과정을 거쳐 GMR-SV 소자를 제작하여 미트론 자기비드를 검출하였다. 여기서 자기비드를 떨어뜨리기 전과 후의 자기저항비, 교환결합력, 보자력은 각각 0.9%, 3 Oe, 2 Oe의 값을 나타내었다. 이것으로 미크론단위의 바이오센서로서 활용할 수 있는 가능성을 보여주었다.

Effects of Heat Input and Bead Generation Methods on Finite Element Analysis of Cylindrical Multi-Pass Welding Process of Metals (열원 입력과 비드 생성 방법이 원통형 다층 금속 용접 과정의 유한요소해석에 미치는 영향)

  • In this study, a finite element analysis of a cylindrical multi-pass weldment for dissimilar metals was performed. The effects of the heat input method and weld bead generation method were considered. We compared two heat input methods: the heat flux method and the temperature method. We also compared two weld bead generation methods: the element birth method and the quiet element method. Although the results of the thermal analysis show deviations between the two heat input methods, the welding residual stresses were similar. Because the areas exposed to high temperature were similar and the strength of the material was very low in high temperature (above the $1000^{\circ}C$), the effects of the weld bead temperature were insignificant. The distributions of the welding residual stress were similar to each other. However, gaps and overlaps occurred on the welding boundary surfaces when the element birth method was applied. The quiet element method is more suitable for a large deformation model in order to simulate a more accurate weld shape.

Preparation and Characterization of Bead Type Superabsorbent Resin (비드형 고흡수성 수지의 제조 및 특성연구)

  • Bead type super-absorbent resins to be used for release-control were prepared by modification of the inverse suspension polymerization, and their physical properties were characterized. Acrylic acid and acrylamide were used as monomers, and N,N-methylenebisacrylamide was used as crosslinker, controlling the viscosity of monomer solution by adding hydroxyethylcellulose (HEC). SEM studies of the synthesized beads verified that the bead surfaces had many pores with their diameters of several tens nm. The bead sizes were in the range of $500{\sim}3000{\mu}m$, depending on the viscosity of the monomer solution. Both absorbent amount and absorbent rate of the beads were inversely proportional to the bead size, and the maximum water absorbent amount of 1 g beads was determined to be ca. 170~200 g for 5 hrs. The absorbent rate was also dependent on pH change of the aqueous solution, exhibiting the maximum rate in pH ranging from 5 to 11. The absorbent rate decreased as the concentration of salt (NaCl and $MgCl_2$) or ethanol and ethylene glycol increased. Release time of the water absorbed into the bead resins was 700 hrs, confirming the usefulness of the resin for the good release-control materials.

  • 칩비드는 전자제품에서 전기적 노이즈(noise)의 기기 유입에 대해 제품의 사양에 따라 일정한 전압으로 강하해주는 보호소자로서 유무선통신기기, 컴퓨터 등 소형 전자제품에 많이 쓰이고 있다. 특히 IT제품의 소형화 추세로 수요가 계속 증가되고 있는 추세이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 국내에서 생산되는 칩비드의 대표적인 2종(1005, 1608 형)에 대한 신뢰성 평가를 위해 시험기준을 개발하고 수명시험을 통한 제품의 신뢰성에 대해 분석하였다. 특히 기존의 다양한 환경시험과 함께 고장률시험을 추가하여 제품의 수명을 예측하는데 기초자료로 활용하고자 한다.

Production and Characterization of New Structured-Oligosaccharides from Immobilized Mixed-enzyme Reactor (고정화 혼합효소를 이용한 새로운 구조의 올리고당 생산 및 특성 연구)

  • We have produced new-structured oligosaccharides using immoobilized mixed-enzyme reactor of destransucrase from Leuconostoc mesenteroides B-512FMCM and $\alpha$-amylase from Aspergillus oryzae. The reactors of immobilized mixed-exzyme beads were more efficient for the production of oligosaccharides than that of each immobilized enzyme bead in stirred-tank reactior(STR) or in packed-bed reactor(PCR). In continuous flow reactor, the immobilized mixed-enzyme bead in PBR was more stable than in STR, and 52% of initial yield was maintained for 200 hr. New structured-oligosaccharides (NOS) reduced the change of pH in the culture of Streptococcus mutans. It also showed an inhibitory effect on the growth of Staphylococcus aureus.

The Study for Bead Effect in Inner Case on Thermal Deformation of Refrigerator (냉장고 내벽의 비드가 열변형에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • Under extreme test or operation condition, refrigerator endures complicated stresses state and thermal bowing deformation arises on the sidewall. Shelf rails designed in the inner case provide increased surface area to permit expansion without bowing, and also increase structural rigidity to resist bowing. In this study, we designed six different shelf patterns of refrigerator model and studied the bead on refrigerator deformation using finite element method (FEM). Analysis result shows that increasing the numbers of beads properly in refrigerator is more helpful to reduce thermal bowing deformation. In addition, the beads would decrease stress on refrigerator sidewall. However, vertical beads have no effect to reduce thermal deformation of the bowing.

  • The sheet formability can be improved by the optimum drawbeads installation because draw-beads can control the flow of the metal into the die cavity when the punch enters into the die opening, In this study the drawing characteristics for step drawbead are analyzed by 2-D rigid -plastic FEM and also are measured experimentally. In addition for the validity of FEM theoretical results are compared with the experimental results. Especially the draw bead restrain-ing forces and the strain distributions of drawn specimens are obtained in both FEM and experiment. Also the effects of the drawbead dimensions drawing angles and blank holding forces on the drawing characteristics are investigated.
