Precise Time-Synchronization for Separate systems (서로 분리된 시스템의 정밀한 시간동기화)

  • In this paper, we present a novel time-synchronization method for distributed systems to measure the body motion. The distributed system scheme is considered because human data acquisition systems tend to have a centralized controller with sensors connected with a long range of electric wires running through the subject's body, which results in inconvenience. Utilizing simple key switches and digital input ports for reading the key, the proposed method requires a very simple hardware structure, which means less power consumption compared with the well-known ubiquitous sensor network. After measuring the motion data as well as the synchronization pulses, the proposed method compensates, in offline, the difference of the sampling instance between the two systems by scaling the time difference. The paper presents experimental results to show the validity of the proposed method.

  • 감시정찰 센서네트워크의 모든 센서노드 및 싱크노드들은 한정된 자원과 저사양의 하드웨어로 동작하며, 각 침입탐지 센서들이 수집한 상황 데이터를 신뢰성 있게 전송할 수 있어야 한다. 본 초소형 내장소프트웨어는 이러한 감시정찰 센서네트워크의 특성에 맞게 설계되어 센서 및 싱크노드에 탑재될 수 있는 소프트웨어로서, 센서 OS 커널, 센서미들웨어, 보안커널로 구성된다. 센서 OS는 Multithread 기반으로 실시간, 비실시간 태스크를 위한 각기 다른 스케줄링 방식을 제공하며 지연된 인터럽트 처리 기능, 주기적 태스킹 기능과 효율적 에너지 관리 기능을 제공하여 센서 네트워크에 특화된 어플리케이션 개발을 용이하게끔 한다. 또한 센서미들웨어는 OS 커널과 어플리케이션 사이에 존재하여 위치인식, 시간동기, 네트워크 관리, 원격 업데이트 기능 등 어플리케이션에서 공통적으로 요구하는 필수 기능들을 제공한다.

  • The management of sensor information requires the functions for registering, modifying and deleting rapidly sensor information about various many sensors. In this research, Celery and MongoDB are used for developing a sensory data management system. Celery supplies a queue structure based on asynchronous communication in Python. Celery is a distributed simple job-queue but reliable distributed system suitable for processing large message. MongoDB is a NoSQL database that is capable of managing various informal information. In this experiment, we have checked that variety of sensor information can be processed with this system in a IoT environment. To improve the performance for handling a message with sensory data, this system will be deployed in the edge of a cloud infrastructure.

  • Monostatic sonar systems localize targets using the time information of pulse transmission and receipt. Whereas, in asynchronous bistatic sonar systems, receivers need to detect direct blast to localize targets, since a source doesn't share pulse information with receivers. In this paper, we propose a direct blast detection algorithm, which estimates PRI (Pulse Repetition Interval) of direct blast and adaptive thresholds. Experimental results show the proposed algorithm has robust direct blast detection performance in the environment where strong background noise and target signal exist.

  • This paper presents a multi-sensor data simulator and a data fusion algorithm for tracking high dynamic flight target from Radar and Telemetry System. The designed simulator generates time-asynchronous multiple sensor data with different data rates and communication delays. Measurement noises are incorporated by using realistic sensor models. The proposed fusion algorithm is designed by a 21st order distributed Kalman Filter which is based on the PVA model with sensor bias states. A fault detection and correction logics are included in the algorithm for bad data and sensor faults. The designed algorithm is verified by using both simulation data and actual real data.

  • Stationary nodes and mobile nodes co-exist wireless sensor network(WSN) can provide variety of new services. The stationary sensor node acts not only the gathering the environmental sensing data but also a access point to bidirectional communication with numerous mobile sensor nodes(mobile node), and the mobile sensor nodes are installed inside mobile objects and identify the location in real-time and monitor the internal status of the object. However, only using the legacy WSN protocol, it is impossible to set up the stable network due to the several reasons caused by the free-mobility of the mobile nodes. In this paper, we suggest three methods to increase the hit-ratio of the asynchronous message delivery(AMD) among mobile nodes. We verified the performance of the suggested methods under the stationary-mobile co-existed WSN testbed.

  • Micro-service Architecture is a service architecture optimized for large-scale distributed systems such as real-time realistic broadcasting systems, so that are fiercely adopted by Global leading service platform vendors such as Netflix and Twitter due to the merit of horizontal performance scalability enabling the scale-out technique. In addition, micro-service architecture makes it possible to execute image processing and real-time data analysis using an asynchronous-based processing that are difficult to handle in Web API such as REST. In this paper, an event stream processing framework applicable to asynchronous based micro services is proposed in the sense that the accountability of event processing order is not guaranteed in the events such as IoT sensor data analysis or cloud-based image editing because these are the situations where the real-time media editing generates multiple event streams and asynchronous processes in the platform.

Middleware Design for enhancing the success rate of Asynchronous Message Delivery among Mobile nodes in WSN (무선 센서 네트워크의 이동노드간 비동기 메시지 전송 성공률을 높이기 위한 미들웨어 설계)

  • 최근 무선 센서 네트워크는 고정형 센서 노드(고정노드)와이동형 센서 노드(이동노드)가 상존하여 네트워크를 구성하고 각종 다양한 서비스를 제공하기 위한 어플리케이션이 활발하게 연구되고 있다. 이동노드의 위치인식 서비스가 그 중에 하나인데, 이동노드의 위치정보가 보장이 되고 이동노드간 메시지 전송을 하는 서비스도 요구되고 있다. 하지만 이동노드의 이동성을 예측하기는 쉽지가 않고 빠르게 움직이는 이동노드일 경우 이러한 서비스는 실패할 확률이 높다. 그리하여 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 상위 라우터에서 메시지를 관리할 수 있는 미들웨어 구조를 제안하고 이 시스템을 검증하였다.

  • There are screw, reciprocating and turbo compressor by structure in an air compressor, essential equipment on he industrial spot. Resently it is wide that the range of turbo compressor's use in gradual, turbo compressor needs high speed rotation of impeller in structure, high rated gearbox and conventional induction motor. This mechanical system increased the moment of inertia and mechanical friction loss. Resently the study of turbo compressor applied super high speed motor and drive, removing gearbox made its size small and mechanical friction loss minimum. In this study we tried to develope variable super high speed motor drive systems for 150Hp, 70,000rpm drect drive Turbo compressor. The result of study is applied to a 150Hp direct turbo compressor and makes it goods.

Design of USN Communication Protocol Using Individual Chaotic Systems (개별 혼돈 시스템을 이용한 USN 통신 프로토콜 설계)

  • In the construction of USN environment, the implementation of a safe sensor network using wireless communications can be said to be the most important factor in the entire system. Although USN communication uses wireless communications to enhance accessability and non-contact capability, this results in the security vulnerability, thus endangering the system. In this regard, we propose a security protocol that can be effectively applied to USN, a multi-sensor network. The proposed protocol is a method using an individual chaotic system, and it is a security protocol to synchronize the main chaotic system mounted on each sensor and prepared key values into the initial values, and to communicate with the use of the synchronized values as symmetric keys. The communication protocol proposed in this paper is expected to yield good results as a new method to resolve security problems of USN and program capacity limitations of sensor nodes if subsequent studies continue to be carried out.
