A Study on the Guided drainage Method of Underground Roadway (지하차도 유도배수공법에 관한 연구)

  • 현재 지하차도 설계 지하수위는 철도, 지하철 및 공동구의 설계기준과 기존사례를 준용하여 지표면 하 1.0 m를 기준으로 설계하고 있으며, 지하차도 설계시 지하수위 적용에 대한 명확한 기준과 그에 따른 설계와 유지관리지침 등이 마련되어 있지 않아 부득이 기존의 공법을 그대로 답습하고 있다. 또한 대부분 과다설계 요인과 친환경적이지 못하다는 지적받고 있는 부력앵커공법을 적용하고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 영종하늘도시 사업지구에 시공중인 지하차도 구조물과 관련하여 지하차도 구조물 건설에 따른 지하수 흐름 변화 특성을 평가하여 유도배수공법의 효과를 검토하였다. 지하차도 건설에 의한 흐름변화 분석을 위하여 3차원 지하수 MODFLOW 프로그램을 이용하였으며 지하차도 건설전, 후에 대하여 프로그램을 수행하였다. 수행 결과 지하차도 건설 전 유역의 평균 지하수위는 지표하 1~2m 이상으로 비교적 높은 지하수를 형성하고 있는 것으로 평가되었다. 유도배수공법을 적용한 지하차도 건설 후 지하차도 주변부 지하수위는 건설전에 비하여 약 3~4 m 하강하는 것으로 분석되었으며, U-type 종점부는 지표하 최소 6 m 이상, 시작부는 지표하 최소 3.4 m 이상 아래에 형성되는 것으로 평가된다. 연구 결과는 향후 지하차도 유도배수공법 평가의 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • The finite element method (FEM), a powerful numerical modeling tool for solving various engineering problems, is frequently applied to three-dimensional (3-D) modeling thanks to its capability of discretizing and simulating the shape of model with finite number of elements. Considering the accuracy of the solution and computing time in modeling of engineering problems, it is preferable to construct physical continuity and simplify mesh system. Although there exist systematic mesh generation systems for arbitrary shaped model, it is hard to model a simple cylinder in terms of 3-D coordinate system especially in the vicinity of the central axis. In this study I adopt cylindrical coordinate system for modeling the 3-D model space and define the origin of the coordinates with mathematically clear coordinate transformation. Since we can simulate the whole space with hexahedral elements, the cylindrical coordinate system is effective in handling the 3-D model structure. The 3-D do resistivity modeling scheme developed in this study provides basie principle for borehole-to-surface resistivity survey, which can be a useful tool for the application to environmental problem.

The Method of Deciding Design Level of Service with Optimal User Cost (사용자비용최적화를 통한 도로 설계서비스수준 산정방안)

  • LOS(Level of Service), the qualitative measure describing operational condition of highway, must be evaluated as quantative index in terms of user service. So, This study is focused on developing the user cost function that user cost is measured in the variation of V/C, MOE(Measure of Effectiveness) of LOS in basic Section of highway. The user cost is calculated as the sum of accident cost, operation cost, travel time cost. The data is collected in the four basic section of Singal-Ansan and Jung bu Highway. As the result of user cost function analysis, the user cost is the lowest When V/C is 0.54. Considering the V/C ratio(0.7) of Basic Section in rural highway suggested in KHCM, We find out that the LOS suggested KHCM increase the user cost of highway.

  • KORAIL's logistics business coefficient is improved slightly from 197.4 in 2009 to 190.7 in 2010 but the cost is still high compared to the revenues. In order to derive activities for the efficient logistics and measure their effects quantitatively, the analysis of various indexes that can be extracted from the statistical data is very important. In this study, the various indexes are analyzed to evaluate the efficiency of freight cars based on railway logistics. It can be used to estimate the various activities for the efficient logistics associated with freight cars. We suggest the Indexes as the number of transport, cumulative transport distance and transport income to evaluate the efficiency of freight cars and they should be applied according to the characteristics of each index.

Urban archaeological investigations using surface 3D Ground Penetrating Radar and Electrical Resistivity Tomography methods (3차원 지표레이다와 전기비저항 탐사를 이용한 도심지 유적 조사)

  • Ongoing and extensive urbanisation, which is frequently accompanied with careless construction works, may threaten important archaeological structures that are still buried in the urban areas. Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) methods are most promising alternatives for resolving buried archaeological structures in urban territories. In this work, three case studies are presented, each of which involves an integrated geophysical survey employing the surface three-dimensional (3D) ERT and GPR techniques, in order to archaeologically characterise the investigated areas. The test field sites are located at the historical centres of two of the most populated cities of the island of Crete, in Greece. The ERT and GPR data were collected along a dense network of parallel profiles. The subsurface resistivity structure was reconstructed by processing the apparent resistivity data with a 3D inversion algorithm. The GPR sections were processed with a systematic way, applying specific filters to the data in order to enhance their information content. Finally, horizontal depth slices representing the 3D variation of the physical properties were created. The GPR and ERT images significantly contributed in reconstructing the complex subsurface properties in these urban areas. Strong GPR reflections and highresistivity anomalies were correlated with possible archaeological structures. Subsequent excavations in specific places at both sites verified the geophysical results. The specific case studies demonstrated the applicability of ERT and GPR techniques during the design and construction stages of urban infrastructure works, indicating areas of archaeological significance and guiding archaeological excavations before construction work.

The Structural and Spatial Characteristics of the Actor Networks of the Industries for the Elderly: Based on the Social Network Analysis (고령친화산업 행위주체 테트워크의 구조적.공간적 특성: 사회 네트워크 분석을 중심으로)

  • Based on the social network analysis(SNA), this study examines the structural and spatial characteristics of the actor networks of the manufacturing industries for the elderly. In the field of economic geography, former researches on network have mainly focused on the network governance. However, this study focused on the social network analysis. Centrality indexes are used to analyze the topological structure of actor networks of firms and organizations. In order to investigate the spatial structure of actor networks, not only the regional distribution of actors but also the correlation between centrality index and distance are analyzed. Network matrixes among actors are transformed to network matrixes among regions using block modeling method to reveal the spatial characteristics of the actor networks. In spite of the importance of the Capital Region, networks in the non-Capital Region like Chungnam and Pusan were showed high network density. This suggested that some kinds of policy project operating in the non-Capital Region had the influence on this network in the initial stage of industry.

An application of the A-PDA model and the water supply performance index for the temporal and spatial evaluation of the performance of emergency water supply plans via interconnections (비상시 용수 연계공급 성능의 시·공간적 평가를 위한 A-PDA 모형 및 공급성능지표의 적용)

  • The purpose of the water distribution system is gradually changing to increase the flexibility for responding to various abnormal situations. In addition, it is essential to improve resilience through preparing emergency plans against water supply failure. The most efficient way is emergency interconnections which supply water from interconnected adjacent blocks. To operate successful interconnections, it is essential to evaluate the supply performance in spatial and temporal aspects. The spatial and temporal aspects are dominated by its interconnected pipes and interconnected reservoirs respectively. In this study, an emergency interconnection scenario where problem occurred in reservoir 1 at 0:00hr in A city, Korea. An Advanced-Pressure Driven Analysis model was used to simulate the volume and inflow volume of the interconnected reservoirs. Based on the hydraulic analysis results, a multi-dimensional evaluation of the supply performance was conducted by applying possible water supply range indicator (PWSRI) and possible water supply temporal indicator (PWSTI) which are based on fuzzy membership functions. As a result, it was possible to evaluate the supply performance on the sides of consumers in spatio-temporal aspects and to review whether established plans mitigate the damage as intended. It is expected to be used for decision making on structural and non-structural emergency plan to improve the performance of an emergency interconnection.

A Study on The Improvement of Douglas-Peucker's Polyline Simplification Algorithm (Douglas-Peucker 단순화 알고리듬 개선에 관한 연구)

  • A Simple tree-structured line simplification method, which exactly follows the Douglas-Peucker algorithm, has a strength for its simplification index to be involved into the hierarchical data structures. However, the hierarchy of simplification index, which is the core in a simple tree method, may not be always guaranteed. It is validated that the local property of line features in such global approaches as Douglas-Peucker algorithm is apt to be neglected and the construction of hierarchy with no thought of locality may entangle the hierarchy. This study designed a new approach, CALS(Convex hull Applied Line Simplification), a) to search critical points of line feature with convex hull search technique, b) to construct the hierarchical data structure based on these critical points, c) to simplify the line feature using multiple trees. CALS improved the spatial accuracy as compared with a simple tree method. Especially CALS was excellent in case of line features having the great extent of sinuosity.

  • 근래 들어 도시화로 인한 물순환 파괴를 근본적으로 연구하고 이를 정상화하기 위한 체계적이고 통합적인 유역관리 기술이 요구되고 있다. 유역통합관리의 이론을 실제로 적용한 계획을 세우기 위해서는 Heathcote(1998)가 제안한 다음과 같은 단계별 절차를 수행하는 것이 바람직하다. 단계별 절차는 (1) 대상유역에 대한 정보수집, (2) 문제점 도출, (3) 분명한 목적 수립, (4) 대안의 구성, (5) 대안의 검토, (6) 대안의 효과분석, (7) 최종계획 수립으로 이루어져 있으며 본 연구에서는 3단계의 과정에 해당된다. Heathcote(1998)는 대안의 선정과 평가를 위한 방법으로 단순평가방법(simple assessment method)과 세부평가방법(detailed assessment method)으로 구분하였는데 본 연구에서 수행한 내용은 단순평가방법에 해당된다. 본 연구는 안양천 유역에서 물순환 건전화의 핵심을 건천화 방지로 판단하고 이를 위한 대안을 크게 지표수, 지하수, 대체수자원 분야로 구분하여 제시하였다. 지표수 분야의 경우 구조적인 대안으로 소규모 저수지의 개발, 타유역에서의 도수, 보를 이용한 수량 확보, 우오수분리벽을 이용한 상류유출수의 확보, 저협수로 형성, 하천바닥에 차집관로 매설 방지 및 차집관로 유지관리 등이 있으며 비구조적인 대안으로는 기존 저수지의 유지용수 공급을 위한 운영, 유수지의 다목적 활용, 하천수 직접취수 제한 등이 있다. 지하수 분야의 대안으로는 지하철 용출수의 재이용, 지하수의 과다이용 제한, 침투증진시설의 설치 등이 있으며 대체수자원 분야의 대안으로는 하수처리수를 고도처리하여 유지용수로 재이용하는 것, 중소규모 하수처리장의 상류 설치, 대규모 사업장의 폐수를 고도처리하여 활용하는 것, 상수도의 이용 등이 있다. 이러한 여러 가지 대안들은 Walesh(1989)가 제안한 절차에 따라 기술가능성(technical feasibility), 경제성(economical efficiency), 환경성(environmental feasibility) 등을 정성적으로(qualitatively) 파악하여 실현가능한 대안을 선정하였다. 이렇게 선정된 대안들은 중유역별로 검토하여 효과가 있을 것으로 판단되는 대안들을 제시하는 예비타당성(Prefeasibility) 계획을 수립하였다. 이렇게 제시된 계획은 향후 과학적인 분석(세부평가방법)을 통해 대안을 평가하고 구체적인 타당성(feasibility) 계획을 수립하는데 토대가 될 것이다.

  • 정부는 그 동안 공공부문의 문제점으로 지적되어 왔던 낮은 경영성과, 저 생산성, 고비용 구조, 낮은 시장 대응력, 조직 운영의 비효율성 등의 문제를 해결하기 위하여 공공부문을 포함하는 정부 혁신을 강력하게 추진하고 있다. 이러한 혁신의 핵심은 체계적인 성과관리에 있다. 지방공기업 역시 경영효율성을 높이고 경쟁력을 강화하기 위해서는 무엇보다도 자율 경영 체제하에서 경영성과를 정확히 측정하고 그에 따른 보상체계를 마련하는 것이 필수적이다. 논문에서는 이러한 BSC(Balance score card) 기반에서 다원화된 평가주체에 부합하는 지방공기업의 성과 지표에 대한 틀을 설계하고 이를 이용하여 실례로 광주광역시환경시설공단에 적용한 사례를 보이고자 한다.
