Implementation of underwater visible light communication system interlinked with bluetooth (블루투스와 연동하는 수중 가시광 통신 시스템의 구현)

  • Communication underwater is severely limited when compared to communications in air because water is essentially opaque to electromagnetic radiation except in visible range. Acoustic systems are capable of long range communication, but offer limited data rates and significant latency due to the speed of sound in water. On the other hand, optical wireless communication has been proposed as one of the best alternatives to meet the requirements of the underwater observation and subsea monitoring systems. It will help In this study, we are developing an underwater optical communication system that integrates with a depot ship floating on the water. An interface between LED lighting communication system and Bluetooth module is presented to support the underwater-to-air communications. Error free image and text transmission at 3 m of water were achieved at bit rates of 230.4 kbps. This development effort will enhance infrastructure to efficiently interconnect between underwater wireless systems and command ship networks for underwater monitoring.

Antioxidant activity of extracts from Blueberry (블루베리 추출물의 항산화 활성)

  • In this study, antioxidant activity of enzymatic, ethanolic and aqueous extract from Blueberry were evaluated by measuring the scavenging activity on 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH). Enzymatic extract were prepared by enzymatic hydrolysis of Blueberry using food grade five different carbohydrases (Viscozyme, celluclast, AMG, Termarmyl, Ultraflo) and five proteases (Protamex, Kojizyme, Neutrase, Flavourzyme, Alcalase). The ethanol extract were lower than enzymatic extracts in yield, but higher in ployphenolic contents. The 70% ethanolic extract of Blueberry exhibited better DPPH radical scavenging activity compared to those of other extracts. These results suggest that Blueberry would be a good raw materials for antioxidant.

  • In this study, we evaluate the reliability of using bluetooth wireless communication method, the industrial, scientific, and medical standards for local wireless communications, in the medical environment. For the study, an ECG measurement system using bluetooth is developed and used in various conditions of medical environment. It is found that the bluetooth communication method has shown a reliable data transmission capability when both transmitter and receiver are positioned in the same room. However, the increase of transmission distance and the existence of a wall prevent the retailable data transmission. Therefore, it is necessary to make sure if reliable data transmission is achieved for individual environments, before we use this technology.

  • Vasoplegic syndrome occurs in $8{\sim}10%$ of patients following cardiac surgery, and this happens in part because of inducing the inflammatory response. Nitric oxide and guanylate cyclase play an important role in this response, and this is associated with increased morbidity and mortality. For our case, we administered methylene blue (MB), an inhibitor of guanylate cyclase, early after performing cardiopulmonary bypass in a patient with vasoplegic syndrome. The patient recovered immediately after MB administration and maintained an optimal blood pressure without the aid help of any vasopressors.

  • This paper implement Telemetry System which is used Bluetooth. This System propose system which can detect a total amount of gas, electricity or water without a motorman, at home. BlueTooth is a close range wireless communication technology which uses a wireless frequency 2.4GHz and has a high trust and self - error correction technology according to a low power consumption quality and a high-speed frequency hopping. This makes get a high trust concerning a data transmission than an existing modem. In addition, though wireless modem is restricted by a minimal of a wireless terminal, it will be possible to coincide with the function of the portable with the low power consumption quality by using Bluetooth. And as the system on a chip of module progresses, the possibility of the snail size is present. And, Motorman who use mobility of embedded system can detect detect a total amount of gas, electricity or water outdoor. Embedded system use ARM processor that is low power processor. So it ran use long time efficiently.

  • Until just a few years ago, digital circuit design techniques in register transfer level using Verilog or VHDL have been recognized as the up-to-date way compared with the traditional schematic design, and truly they have been used as the most popular skill for most chip designs. However, with the advent of era in which the complexity of semiconductor chip counts over billion transistors with advanced manufacturing technology, designing in register transfer level became too complex to meet the requirements of the needs, so the design paradigm has to change so that both design and synthesis can be done in higher level of abstraction. Bluespec SystemVerilog (BSV) is the only HDL which enables both circuit design and generating synthesizable code in the system level developed so far. In this contribution, I survey and analyze the features which supports the new paradigm in the BSV HDL, not very familiar to industry yet.

  • A bag filter collector is a kind of air purifier that organizes several or dozens of filters to purify fine dust and release clean air into the atmosphere. If the bag filter length is less than 5m, the dust and fume attached to the bag filter could be effectively removed by passing the compressed air generated by the diaphragm valve through the venturi. Injectors that are more efficient and economical are urgently needed to achieve satisfactory results for long-bag exhaustion of more than 7 meters. In the case of existing domestic and foreign injectors, a number of blow tubes were dismantled during maintenance, and the injector and blow tube were combined to pose a number of problems, including inconvenience of work due to weight increase. In this study, injector flow for the development of the best use of interpretation of the coanda effect and the fourth round of industrial technology Intelligent automation of exhaustion, have been engineered energy than standard equipment. lowering costs and filter life to radically improve the commercial studies.

A Bluetooth Scatternet Reformation Algorithm based on Node Types (노드 형태에 따른 블루투스 스캐터넷 재형성 알고리즘)

  • Bluetooth has been reputed as a wireless networking technology supplying ad-hoc networks between digital devices. In particular, bluetooth scatternet is a most essential part for dynamic ad-hoc networks. But past researches on bluetooth scatternet has hardly treated dynamic scatternet environment. In this paper, we proposed a scatternet reformation algorithm for the case that some nodes escape from the scatternet. The proposed algorithm is a general algorithm which can be applied to many types of bluetooth scatternet regardless of the topology. The proposed algorithm has short reformation time delay because the process has only page process (not including inquiry process ). The algorithm is operated based on Recovery Node Vector which is composed of Recovery Master and Recovery Slave. In this paper, we performed the real hardware experiments for evaluating the performance of the proposed algorithm. In that experiments, we measured the reformation time and reformation probability. In comparison with the case including inquiry process, the proposed algorithm had the improvement in reformation time delay and we obtained high success rate over 97%.

  • Bluetooth is a popular wireless data transmission method with low power consumption, but it has low data transmission rate. Thus, although many video stream players of a local or network file exist, there have been few players of video stream transmitted via Bluetooth. MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 codec is one of video codecs available with best compression rates for a certain quality, so a H.264 encoder seems to be adequate for video stream to be transmitted via Bluetooth. In this paper, we present a DirectShow filter based player of video stream encoded by H.264 codec, which is transmitted via Bluetooth. Details on the design and implementation of this program are described. Experimental results are shown to demonstrate the validity of the implemented program using various video samples.

Synthesis of Ti-SBA-15 Doped with Lanthanide Ion and Photocatalytic Decomposition of Methylene Blue (La 이온이 도핑된 Ti-SBA-15의 합성 및 메틸렌블루의 광촉매 분해 반응)

  • Ti-SBA-15 catalysts doped with lanthanide ion were synthesized using conventional hydrothermal method and they were characterized by XRD, FT-IR, DRS, $NH_3$-TPD and PL. We also examined the activity of these materials on the photocatalytic decomposition of methylene blue. La/Ti-SBA-15 samples with varying lanthanide ions doping maintained the mesoporous structure and the catalysts calcined at $500^{\circ}C$ for 6 h showed the highest crystallinity. With increasing the doping amount of lanthanide ion, the pore size and pore volume of La/Ti-SBA-15 materials decreased but the surface area increased. 1% La/Ti-SBA-15 catalysts showed the highest photocatalytic activity on the decomposition of methylene blue but the catalysts doped with more than 5% lanthanide ions showed lower activity compared to pure Ti-SBA-15 catalyst.
