  • The purpose of this study was to analyze and explain the formation and characteristics of wooden church architecture in Andong area from 1902 to 1975. Especially, I tried to find out the characteristic of wooden construction and the influence of typical form of Andong church architecture to the small church of nearby Andong rural area. This study was carried out the actual inspection of existing architecture through analysis.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate and analyze the building process and characteristics of Suncheon American missionary compound-missionary dwellings, medical clinics, schools and churches, for the sake of giving fundamental facts to the researcher of this field. The results of the study is summarized as follows. The construction participants of Suncheon missionary architecture are American supervisor- Rev. Preston, Elder Swinehart and Doctor Timmons, Korean christian labors, Chinese masons and Japanese carpenters. The characteristics of architectures are described as the space composition according to American life style, the architectural form of American colonial style. And also the masonry structure using the Korean domestic stones and bricks and imported various materials- such as the cements, timbers, glasses, doors and windows, etc- from the North America.

Penicillium sp.-L4의 균성장 및 효소작용을 억제하는 $\beta$-glucosidase inhibitor의 분리 및 특성

  • A producer of inhibitor against ${\beta}-glucosidase$ of Penicillium sp.-L4 was screened from Actinomycetes, and the isolated strain was identified as Streptomyces sp. The inhibitor produced was very stable against heat, acidic and alkaline conditions, proteolytic and amylolytic enzymes. The inhibotor was purified from culture broth through activated carbon treatment, ultrafiltration, anion and cation exchange, activated carbon columm, acetone precipitation and preparative HPLC. It showed inhibitory activities against a variety of dissacharide hydrolyzing enzymes produced by P.sp.-L4, and the mode of inhibition was competitive. Its structure and molecular formular was elucidated by IR, $^1H\;and\;^{13}C$ NMR and FAB/Mass spectrometry, which was identified as 1-deoxynojirimycin (dNM). dNM showed inhibitory effects on the cell growth and hydrolytic enzyme action of P.sp.-L4 on agar plate and infected lemon peel.

  • With the advent of the international standard IEC 61850 for communication networks and systems in substations, utilities are beginning to implement substation automation systems (SAS) that can give support to interoperability, interchangeability and self-description features. This paper describes with the SAS design accordance with this new standard. After a brief introduction of IEC 61850 SCL, this paper addresses some issues related to the specification of an IEC 61850 based SAS, and describes the Substation Configuration Language (SCL) based on Extensible Markup Language (XML). The SAS design process is explored with examples including the Intelligent Electronic Device (IED) selection, Logical Nodes (LN) allocation and the related services and the SAS communication architecture.

  • 신뢰도 향상기법(System-based Reliability Enhancement Technology : SRET)이란 시스템레벨에서 IED의 신뢰도를 개선하는 방법이다. 변전소 자동화 시스템(SAS)에서 각 IED들은 각자의 역할에 충실하여 정상적으로 동작하여야 한다. 어떠한 IED에 이상이 생겼을 경우, 변전소 내 시스템에서는 그 IED의 이상 여부를 감지하고 그에 적절한 조치가 취해져야 한다. 본 논문은 IEC61850 기반 SCL(Substation Configuration description Language)를 이용한 SAS에서 같은 역할을 하는 백업 IED를 구성하여 임의의 사고에도 시스템 동작에 아무런 영향을 미치지 않는 시스템 신뢰도 향상 기법의 구현을 설명하였다. 제안한 기법의 효율을 검증하기 위하여 실제 시뮬레이터를 사용하여 시뮬레이션을 수행하고 그 결과를 수록하였다.

항공기용 유압 스푸울 밸브의 윤활해석

  • 유압장치의 핵심부품인 유압 제어밸브(hydraulic control valve)는 유압펌프 등에 의하여 가압된 유압유의 압력과 유량을 제어하고 유동방향을 변화시키는 주요기능을 수행한다. 특히, 대부분의 제어밸브는 스푸울(spool)과 슬리브(sleeve)를 기본구조로 채용하고 있다. 피스톤 형상인 스푸울이 슬리브내를 왕복운동하면 스푸울과 슬리브 사이의 간극(clearance)에서는 점성유체인 유압유의 윤활작용에 의하여 원주방향으로 비대칭인 유체압력이 발생한다. 이 결과로 스푸울에 측력(lateral force)이 작용하며, 조건에 따라서는 스푸울에 작용하며, 조건에 따라서는 스푸울에 작용하는 마찰력이 증대할 뿐만 아니라 스푸울과 슬리브의 내벽에 과도한 마멸(wear)을 유방시키기도 하여 제어밸브의 성능을 크게 저하시키기도 한다. 유압공학분야서는 이를 유체고착(hydraulic locking) 현상이라고 부른다. 본 논문에서는 항공기 Flap actuator의 Selector manifold에서 사용되는 스푸울 밸브의 성능에 큰 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상되는 스프울과 슬리브 사이 간극에서의 윤활특성을 이론적으로 조사하고자 한다.

  • An implicit stress integration algorithm was formulated for implementing an aiusotorpic hardening constitutive model which has been based op the generalized isotropic hardening rule in nonlinear finite element analysis technique. the rate form of stress tensor was implicitly integrated using the generalized trapezoidal rule and the tangent stress-strain modulus was evaluated consistently with the nonlinear solution technique. As a result, it has been found that the nonlinear analysis with the anisotropic hardening constitutive model might be performed accurately and efficiently.

  • The behaviour of an unsaturated soil was analyzed by performing $K_0$ consolidated triaxial tests. Unsaturated triaxial tests were performed with matric suctions for weathered soils and could catch stress paths under consolidation and stress-strain relationships under shear. As a result, both isotropic and $K_0$ conditions had similar shear strength envelopes in the same matric suction. Especially, strength parameters could obtain by stress variables based on critical state theory reasonably which was better than those by Mohr circles at failure.

  • In order to predict the stability of slopes, it is important to evaluate shear strength of unsaturated soils. The triaxial tests were performed under $K_0$ conditions for unsaturated soils and the results were compared with those for saturated soils. In unsaturated soils, the secant modul and the shear strengths are larger than those of saturated soils because of matric suctions. However the shear strengths were not affected severely by stress conditions at consolidation.

  • A constiutive model was proposed in order to model dilatancy under $K_0$ conditions. The model includes an anisotropic hardening rule with bounding surface and hypothetical peak stress ratio and dilatancy function which are dependent on a state parameter. The triaxial stress-strain relationship under $K_0$ conditions was calculated reasonably by the proposed model. In particular the model could consistently predict dilatancy in volume change, softening with peak strength and small strain behavior.
