Implementation and Validation of EtherCAT Support in Integrated Development Environment for Synchronized Motion Control Application (동기 모션 제어 응용을 위한 통합개발환경의 EtherCAT 지원 기능 구현 및 검증)

  • Recently, software-based programmable logic controller (PLC) systems, which are implemented in standard PLC languages on general hardware, are gaining popularity because they overcome the limitations of classical hardware PLC systems. Another noticeable trend is that the use of integrated development environment (IDE) is becoming important. IDEs can help developers to easily manage the growing complexity of modern control systems. Furthermore, industrial Ethernet, e.g. EtherCAT, is becoming widely accepted as a replacement for conventional fieldbuses in the distributed control domain because it offers favorable features such as short transmission delay, high bandwidth, and low cost. In this paper, we implemented the extension of open source IDE, called Beremiz, for developing EtherCAT-based real-time, synchronized motion control applications. We validated the EtherCAT system management features and the real-time responsiveness of the control function by using commercial EtherCAT drives and evaluation boards.

  • 웹의 확산과 더불어 웹 페이지 검색의 성능 즉, 빠른 응답시간과 확장성(scalability)은 각 웹 사이트의 절대적 평가 기준이 되었다. 웹 옹용은 일반적으로 불특정 다수를 대상으로 하기 때문에 확장성 또한 주요 성능의 척도가 된다. 이와 같은 웹 사이트 성능을 담보하기 위한 대표적 요소기술이 웹 캐슁이다. 본 논문은 웹 상에서 XML 데이터베이스 기반의 웹 응용(XML database-backed web application)을 위한 응용서버의 XML 캐쉬를 이용하여 주어진 XML 질의를 변환, 처리하는 기법과 구현에 관한 것으로 XPath의 경로표현식 중 가장 중요한 세 가지 기능인 조건을 명시하는 필터 연산자, 부모-자식 관계를 나타내는 경로 연산자(/), 그리고 조상-후손 관계를 나타내는 경로 연산자(//)를 연구 범위로 하였다. [2]에서는 조상-후손 관계를 나타내는 경로 연산자(//)가 없는 경우에 경로표현식으로 주어진 XML 질의를 캐쉬를 이용하여 변환, 처리하는 알고리즘을 제시하였는데 본 논문에서는 [2]의 알고리즘을 확장하여 경로 연간자(//)가 지원되도록 하였다. 조상-후손 경로 연산자(//)로는 정규경로 표현식(regular path expression)을 나타낼 수 있는데 이는 스키마가 불확실한 반구조적 데이터인 XML 데이터에 대한 질의 표현에 유용하다. 제시된 알고리즘에서는 DTD를 이용하여 경로 정보를 얻어 처리함으로써 주어진 질의를 캐쉬와 하부 XML 소스에 대한 질의로 변환하였다. 이 알고리즘을 바탕으로 관계 DBMS를 이용하여 구현된 시스템으로 실제 웹 상에서 성능 실험을 수행하였다. 성능 실험 결과 정규 경로 표현식을 포함하는 XML 질의에 대해서도 웹에서 캐쉬를 이용한 처리가 효율적임을 확인하였다.키는데 목적이 있다.RED에 비해 향상된 성능을 보여주었다.웍스 네트워크상의 다양한 디바이스들간의 네트워크 다양화와 분산화 기능을 얻을 수 있었고, 기존의 고가의 해외 솔루션인 Echelon사의 LonMaker 소프트웨어를 사용하지 않고도 국내의 순수 솔루션인 리눅스 기반의 LonWare 3.0 다중 바인딩 기능을 통해 저 비용으로 홈 네트워크 구성 관리 서버 시스템 개발에 대한 비용을 줄일 수 있다. 기대된다.e 함량이 대체로 높게 나타났다. 점미가 수가용성분에서 goucose대비 용출함량이 고르게 나타나는 경향을 보였고 흑미는 알칼리가용분에서 glucose가 상당량(0.68%) 포함되고 있음을 보여주었고 arabinose(0.68%), xylose(0.05%)도 다른 종류에 비해서 다량 함유한 것으로 나타났다. 흑미는 총식이섬유 함량이 높고 pectic substances, hemicellulose, uronic acid 함량이 높아서 콜레스테롤 저하 등의 효과가 기대되며 고섬유식품으로서 조리 특성 연구가 필요한 것으로 사료된다.리하였다. 얻어진 소견(所見)은 다음과 같았다. 1. 모년령(母年齡), 임신회수(姙娠回數), 임신기간(姙娠其間), 출산시체중등(出産時體重等)의 제요인(諸要因)은 주산기사망(周産基死亡)에 대(對)하여 통계적(統計的)으로 유의(有意)한 영향을 미치고 있어 $25{\sim}29$세(歲)의 연령군에서, 2번째 임신과 2번째의 출산에서 그리고 만삭의 임신 기간에, 출산시체중(出産時體重) $3.50{\sim}3.99kg$사이의 아이에서 그 주산기사망률(周産基死亡率)이 각각 가장 낮았다. 2. 사산(死産)과 초생아사망(初生兒死亡)을 구분(區分)하여 고려해 볼때 사산(死産)은 모성(母性)의 임신력(

Effect of organoclay on the dynamic properties of SBR compound reinforced with carbon black and silica (유기화 클레이의 첨가가 실리카 및 카본블랙를 함유한 SBR 복합체의 동적 특성에 미치는 영향)

  • SBR (styrene-butadiene rubber; 25 wt% of solid contents) nanocomposites reinforced with OLS(organically modified layered silicates) were manufactured via the latex method. Two types of OLS are prepared, i.e. dodecylamine (primary amine) modified montmorillonite (DA-MMT) and N, N-dimethyldodecylamine (tertiary amino) modified MMT (DDA-MMT). X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) were employed to characterize the layer distance of OLS and the morphology of the nanocomposites. SBR nanocomposites reinforced with ternary phase filler (carbon black/silica/OLS) systems also manufactured. Dynamic mechanical thermal analysis (DMTA) was performed on these composites to determine the loss factor (tan $\delta$) over a range of temperature($-20^{\circ}C{\sim}80^{\circ}C$). The results showed that there was significant changes on the values or tan $\delta$ with the addition of small amount of the OLS. By increasing the contents of OLS, the values of tan $\delta$ at $0^{\circ}C$ increased but those of tan $\delta$ at $60^{\circ}C$ decreased with increasing OLS contents.

  • A review about the application of response surface methodology in the optimization of food technology is presented. The theoretical principles of response surface methodology and steps for its application are described. The response surface methodologies : three-level full factorial, central composite, Box-Behnken, and Doehlert designs are compared in terms of characteristics and efficiency. Furthermore, recent references of their uses in food technology are presented. A comparison between the response surface designs (three-level full factorial, central composite, Box-Behnken and Doehlert design) has demonstrated that the Box-Behnken and Doehlert designs are slightly more efficient than the central composite design but much more efficient than the three-level full factorial designs.

A Study of Functional Performance on Smartphone according to Age Difference (나이 차이에 따른 스마트폰 기능 수행도 연구)

  • In this study, we examined the differences in age among the various functions required for everyday life through smartphone using environment. The subjects were composed of 30 young adults and 30 elderly people. We set up 12 tasks to evaluate the performance of smartphone functions. At the same time, a questionnaire about smartphone usage habits was made. The questionnaire consists of items related to user history and usage habits. ANOVA analysis was performed using Minitab version 14, and statistically significant differences were found in 10 tasks. The result of the actual values for each task showed that the elderly generally took more time to perform all the tasks than the younger ones. Especially, the tendency of the task which requires a lot of keystrokes was revealed. Especially, in the case of a task requiring a lot of keystrokes, the tendency was remarkable. Young adults have found that they use all functions uniformly overall, and the functions used by the elderly were biased toward some functions, such as dialing, text, kakao talk, and searching. These results suggest that young people use smartphones more frequently than elderly people, and as they become accustomed to using smartphones, the time required to perform functions may be shortened. We suggest that it is necessary to design in terms of hardware or software so that the elderly people can input easily and conveniently.

Characteristics of grain powder as a viscosity agent (증점제로서의 곡류 가루 특성 연구)

  • For increasing both the viscosity and intake of calories and nutrients, four cereal powders: Goami (GR), waxy barley (WBL), germinated brown rice (GBR), and oat (OT) were added to rice porridge, and the properties of the porridge were compared with that containing a commercial thickener. Among the samples, the porridge with WBL showed the highest viscosity, whereas that with GR showed the lowest. With regards to color properties, the porridge with GR showed the highest whiteness, while those with OT or GBR had the highest yellowness, affecting the color of the rice porridge. The viscosity level of porridges with cereal powders did not reach that of the porridge with the commercial thickener at $90-95^{\circ}C$; however, at $55-60^{\circ}C$, the viscosity of the porridge with cereals was enough to replace the commercial thickener. With regards to organoleptic tests, the overall acceptability was mainly attributed to color, and there were no significant differences in other properties. From these results, it seems that the cereal powders could be suitable substitutes for commercial thickeners.

Preparation of Polysulfone Composite Ultrafiltration Hollow Fiber Membranes Incorporating Nano-size Fumed Silica with Enhanced Antifouling Properties (나노 크기의 Fumed Silica가 함유된 Polysulfone 한외여과 중공사막 제조 및 내오염성 분석)

  • This study was conducted to improve the membrane characteristics and performance by increasing hydrophilicity by adding additives to the ultrafiltration polysulfone (PSf) hollow fiber membrane. The mixed matrix membranes (MMMs) were prepared by dispersing 15 nm of fumed silica (FS) in the spinning solution at 0.1, 0.3 and 0.5 wt%. SEM analysis was carried out to confirm the cross-section and surface condition. It was confirmed that mean pore radius of the hollow fiber increased by 4 nm as FS was added. In addition, contact angle measurement was carried out for the hydrophilicity analysis of hollow fiber membranes, and it was confirmed that the hydrophilicity of MMMs were increased by adding of FS. In the case of water permeability, the membrane including FS showed 91~96 LMH and showed 5~11% more increase than PSf membrane. In the antifouling performance test, relative flux reduction ratios of FS mixed hollow fiber membranes were lower than that of PSf membranes, and it was confirmed that increase of hydrophilicity hinders adsorption of hydrophobic BSA on the membrane surface.

  • Recently, the smart home environment is expected to be a platform that collects, integrates, and utilizes various data through convergence with wireless information and communication technology. In fact, the number of smart devices with various sensors is increasing inside smart homes. The amount of data that needs to be processed by the increased number of smart devices is also increasing, and big data processing systems are actively being introduced to handle it effectively. However, traditional big data processing systems have all requests directed to cluster drivers before they are allocated to distributed nodes, leading to reduced cluster-wide performance sharing as cluster drivers managing segmentation tasks become bottlenecks. In particular, there is a greater delay rate on smart home devices that constantly request small data processing. Thus, in this paper, we design a Apriori-based big data system for effective data processing in smart home environments where frequent requests occur at the same time. According to the performance evaluation results of the proposed system, the data processing time was reduced by up to 38.6% from at least 19.2% compared to the existing system. The reason for this result is related to the type of data being measured. Because the amount of data collected in a smart home environment is large, the use of cache servers plays a major role in data processing, and association analysis with Apriori algorithms stores highly relevant sensor data in the cache.

Development of Solid Self-nanoemulsifying Drug Delivery Systems of Ticagrelor Using Porous Carriers (다공성의 캐리어를 이용한 티카그렐러 함유 고형의 자가 나노유화 약물전달시스템 개발)

  • The objective of this study was to develop a novel ticagrelor-loaded self-nanoemulsifying drug delivery system with an enhanced solubility and dissolution rate. Numerous oils and surfactants were screened, then medium chain triglyceride (MCT) oil and the surfactants polyoxyethylene sorbitan monooleate (Tween 80) and Labrafil M1944CS were selected for the preparation of the ticagrelor-loaded self-nanoemulsifying drug delivery system. A pseudo-ternary phase diagram was constructed to detect the nanoemulsion region. Of the various formulations tested, the liquid SNEDDS, composed of MCT (oil), Tween 80 (surfactant), and Labrafil M1944CS (cosurfactant) at a weight ratio of 20/70/10 produced the smallest emulsion droplet size (around 20.56±0.70 nm). Then, particle size, polydispersity, and zeta potential were measured using drugs containing liquid SNEDDS. The selected ticagrelor-loaded liquid SNEDDS was spray-dried to convert it into a ticagrelor-loaded solid SNEDDS with a suitable inert carrier, such as silicon dioxide, calcium silicate, or magnesium aluminometasilicate. The solid SNEDDS was characterized by scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and in vitro dissolution studies. SEM, PXRD, and DSC results suggested that amorphous ticagrelor was present in the solid SNEDDS. Also, the solid SNEDDS significantly increased the dissolution rate of ticagrelor. In particular, the emulsion particle size and the polydispersity index of the solid SNEDDS using silicon dioxide (SS1) as a carrier was the smallest among the evaluated solid SNEDDS, and the flowability and compressibility result of the SS1 was the most suitable for the manufacturing of solid dosage forms. Therefore, solid SNEDDS using silicon dioxide (SS1) could be a potential nano-sized drug delivery system for the poorly water-soluble drug ticagrelor.

Effectiveness of PBL Based on Flipped Learning for Middle School English Classes (플립드러닝 기반 PBL 모형 중학교 영어 수업의 효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop middle school English classes using Problem-Based Learning(PBL) based on flipped learning and to examine its effects. Recently, various attempts to combine flipped learning and PBL have been made; however, many studies have not been applied to middle and high school curriculums yet. The attempt of this study is expected to have theoretical and practical significance. The instructional model was derived from the review of previous studies, and the development of instructional program followed the general design procedure(analysis-design-development-implement-evaluation), and its validity was secured with the advice of related experts. To verify the effectiveness of the program, the English academic achievement test and the English key competency test were conducted before and after the program. Changes in English academic achievement were analyzed by the paired-sample t-test, and the effect of key competency and the level of achievement test performance (high vs, low) on the pre-post score change was analyzed by the mixed effects repeated measures ANOVA. As a result of the analysis, both academic achievement and key competencies increased, and the low-level students in the pre-academic achievement test showed more improvements. In conclusion, the PBL class based on flipped learning is effective in improving the English academic achievement and key competencies of middle school students, and in particular, it is shown to be an effective teaching method for students with low academic achievement.
