Soot 저감을 위한 촉매 분사 최적화 방안 연구 (A Study on Optimization of Catalyst Injection Controller for Reducing Soot)

  • 가솔린 엔진에 비하여 디젤 엔진은 효율성, 신뢰성, 내구성 측면에서 우수한 특성을 보유하고 있다. 그러나, 디젤 엔진의 최대 약점은 카본기 물질로 알려진 분진(PM)의 방출이다. 최근 엔진 제어와 후처리를 통하여 엄격한 규제 조항에 부합하는 커다란 기술적 발전을 이룩하였다. 보다 엄격하게 진행되고 있는 환경규제를 대응하기 위하여, 본 연구에서는 배기가스 온도 증대를 통한 PM 저감 방안에 초점을 맞추었다. PM 재생 온도를 증대시키기 위하여, DPF 필터와 DOC 전방에 HC를 분사하는 방안을 제안하였다. 본 연구를 통하여, 우리는 LPG 분사 특성을 파악할 수 있는 벤치를 제작하고 관련 DB를 구축하여 LPG 분사 최적화와 ECU 제어 로직을 정량화 할 수 있었다.

젖은 헤어에서 분사된 액체의 움직임을 표현하기 위한 FLIP 해법과 헤어의 결합 프레임워크 (Coupling Framework of Hair with FLIP Solver for Representing Spray Motion of Liquid in Wet Hair)

  • 본 논문에서는 젖은 헤어나 털에서 분사되는 액체의 디테일한 움직임을 표현할 수 있는 새로운 프레임워크를 제안한다. 젖은 헤어에서는 모발의 마찰력과 접착력 뿐만 아니라, 액체의 움직임도 마른 헤어에 비해 독특한 움직임을 갖는다. 하지만, 최근에 제안된 기법들도 모발의 접착력과 마찰력만을 고려했으며, 젖은 헤어에서 분사되는 액체의 움직임은 개선시키지 못했다. 이 문제는 헤어와 유체의 상호작용에서 표현되는 디테일한 특징을 잡아내지 못하기 때문에 결과의 품질을 저하시키는 원인이 된다. 본 논문의 주안점은 이 문제를 완화시켜 결과의 품질을 개선시키는 것이며, 결과적으로 FLIP(Fluid-implicit particle) 기반 유체 시뮬레이션과 헤어 입자 간의 상호작용을 효율적으로 표현할 수 있는 결합 프레임워크를 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 이전 연구들에서 표현하지 못했던 곡선 형태로 분사되는 액체의 디테일한 움직임을 젖은 헤어 프레임워크에서 표현해냈다.

커먼레일 직접분사식 디젤엔진에서 시분해 레이저 유도 백열법을 이용한 매연입자의 배출 특성 (The Characteristics of Exhausted Soot Particles from a Common-Rail Direct Injection Diesel Engine by TIRE-LII)

  • Recently, diesel vehicles have been increased and their emission standards have been getting strict. The emission of diesel vehicles contains numerous dangerous compounds, especially particulate matters cause a serious environmental pollutant and affect to human health seriously. Thousands of studies have already reported that particulate matters are associated with respiratory and cardiovascular diseases, and death. Due to these, it is necessary to measure the soot concentration and soot particle size in laboratory flames or practical engines to recognize the soot formation, and develop the control strategies for soot emission. In this study, the characteristics of exhausted soot particle size and volume fraction from 2.0L CRDI diesel engine have been investigated as varying engine speed and load. Laser induced incandescence has been used to measure soot concentration. Time-resolved laser induced incandescence has been used to determine soot particle size in the engine. The soot volume fraction is increased as increasing engine load but soot volume fraction is decreased as increasing engine speed. The primary particle size is distributed about $35nm{\sim}60nm$ at each experimental conditions.

농업용 멀티콥터를 활용한 무인항공기용 작물보호제 살포양상에 대한 상용노즐별 차이 (Comparison of Each Commercial Nozzle on the Application Pattern of Pesticide for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV))

  • 본 연구에서는 멀티콥터를 이용한 무인항공용 방제약제 살포시 사용하는 상용 노즐에 3가지 타입에 따른 살포양상과 피복도를 조사하였다. 처리구에 플루페녹수론·메타플루미존(flufenoxuron+metaflumizone) 액상수화제와 비펜트린(bifenthrin) 유제를 살포하고난 뒤, 살포 약제의 낙하입자를 감수지를 이용하여 측정하고 감수지의 피복도를 조사하였다. 낙하입자 분석결과 풍속의 차이에 따라 노즐별 낙하입자 균일도에 차이를 보였으며 제형별 차이는 없었다. 노즐별 분사량은 공식 제공정보와 실제 분사량에 차이를 보였다. 이 결과들은 무인항공기 이용 농업현장방제 및 약제등록시험 가이드라인 설정에 근거자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • According as the industry was developed, the pollution of the environment and atmosphere rose up to the surface. So, the focus is now concentrated on the engines of affinity for nature. And the investigators make more effort to the improvement in the performance of engines, depending to the prices of oil and the anxiety about the exhaustion of the fossil fuel go up. So the GDI engines head up for these necessities. In this experimental study, the spray flow characteristics for a commercial injector equipped in the present GDI engine were investigated, which had a strong influence on the engine performance and emissions. The experiment was performed at the injection pressures of 1, 3, 5 and 7MPa under the atmospheric condition. A PDPA system was used to specify the flow characteristics of the spray. Also, the global spray behavior classified into three regions as leading, main spray and vortex cloud region, was analyzed by using a visualization system. And the regions were compared with each other.

  • 비정상 난류 유동장으로 분사되는 액체 제트의 액주 분열과 미립화 현상에 관한 LES를 수행하였다. 기체상태의 공기 유동 해석에 오일러리안 해법을 사용하고, 액적 추적을 위하여 라그랑지안 해법을 사용하여 기체-액체간 이상유동(two phase flow) 해석을 수행하였다. 액주의 1차 및 2차 분열이 관찰되었다. 일정한 속도로 유입되는 공기유동 중에 액체 분사 속도를 달리하여, 액체-기체 운동량 플럭스 비의 변화를 고려하여 액체 제트의 침투깊이를 조사하였으며 실험결과와 유사함을 알 수 있었다. 제트 후류에서 입자 평균직경에 대한 분석을 수행하였다.

산업용 에칭노즐을 이용한 Invar합금판의 식각에 분사각과 압력이 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Injection Angle and Pressure on Etch of Invar Plate Using Industrial Etch-Nozzle)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the significant characteristics in spray of industrial etch-nozzle for the design of process. The experiment was carried out with different spray pressure and industrial nozzle in wet etch. The characteristics of liquid spray, such as axial velocity and sauter mean diameter measurements were obtained by PDA. And impact force was calculated from spray characteristics. It was found that the fluid with higher spray pressure resulted in the smaller SMD and the higher droplet velocity and impact force. The depth of etch was increased in case of high spray pressure. In the case of injection angle oscillated between $20^{\circ}$, the result indicated constant effect of etch. The correlation between the spray characteristics and etch ones were analyzed. The depth of etch had good positive correlation with axial velocity and impact force. The result clearly shows that the characteristics in wet etch are strongly related to the spray characteristics with process.

  • To achieve the requirement for high fuel economy and low emissions, the research for GDI engines is recently very brisk in the whole world. This study was performed to measure distribution of average particle size in non-evaporating spray. The 2-D fluorescence/scattering images of fuel spray were captured simultaneously by visualization system composed of a laser sheet, a doubling prism, optical filters, and an ICCD camera. Using the ratio of the two light intensities, particle size distribution was obtained. The SMD measured by fluorescence/scattering technique was compared with it obtained by PDA. The experimental results show that the spray structure of GDI injector and temporal SMD distribution.

  • A new stratified charge combustion system has been introduced and developed for GDI engines. Before this new GDI system, the stratified mixture was formed by a high pressure swirl injector. But, the special feature of new system is employed of a thin fan-shaped fuel spray formed by a slit type nozzle. Also, this system has been adopted a shell-shaped piston cavity. We made high pressure gasoline injection system and investigated the fan-shaped spray characteristics such as spray tip penetration, spray angle, SMD and velocities of droplets using PDPA(Phase Doppler Particle Analyzer) system and spray visualization system to obtain the concept of the new design and the fundamental data for the next generation GDI system. The experiment was performed at the injection pressures of 5 and 9MPa under the atmospheric condition.

  • The high-pressurized spray nozzle is used f3r special washing and cutting with strong impact force. The performance of this nozzle, which focused on spray penetration and radial dispersion, was mainly investigated to maximize the momentum and minimize the flow loss. Hence, our experimental research was conducted by changing the aspect ratio ranging from 0 to 3 with nozzle outlet of 1.1. The spray trajectory far high-pressurized water was experimentally investigated using PDPA diagnostics, which was available at spray downstream region. As the spray at upstream near the nozzle exit did not show the improved disintegration. The results showed empirical correlation with regard to non-dimensional axial velocity distribution, spray penetration, and radial spreading rate with photographic visualization.
