인공위성용 태양전력 조절기의 병렬운전을 위한 전류제어 방식

  • 태양전력 조절기는 태양전지에서 전력을 생성하여 배터리를 충전하고 인공위성의 모든 부하에 전력을 공급하는 역할을 한다. 이러한 태양전력 조절기는 신뢰성 확보와 대전류 처리를 위해 병렬운전한다. 병렬운전 시 전류가 각 태양전력 조절기에 균등하게 분배되지 않을 경우, 한 태양전력 조절기에만 과도한 전류가 흐르게 되고 해당 태양전력 조절기에 문제가 발생한다. 따라서 병렬운전 하는 각 태양전지 조절기에 전류를 균등하게 분배하기 위해 전류 제어기가 필요하다. 전류 제어 방식에는 Inner Loop방식과 Outer Loop 방식이 있다. Inner Loop방식은 전류 제어기가 태양전력 조절기의 전류를 제어하고, 전류 제어기의 기준 전압을 외부의 전압 제어기가 제어하는 방식이다. 한편, Outer Loop 방식은 전압 제어기가 태양전력 조절기의 전압을 제어하고, 전압 제어기의 기준 전압에 태양전력 조절기의 전류 정보를 더하여 전압을 제어하면서 간접적으로 전류를 제어하는 방식이다. 한편, 태양전지는 전압과 전류가 강한 비선형성 관계를 가지므로 태양전지의 동작점에 따라 태양전력 조절기의 소신호 특성이 변화하고, 이는 전류제어기 안정도에 심각한 영향을 미친다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 태양전지의 각 동작점에 관계없이 전류 제어기가 안정적으로 태양전력 조절기의 전류분배를 수행할 수 있도록 Inner Loop방식과 Outer Loop방식의 전류 제어기를 해석하고 두 방식을 비교한다.

A Study on Flow Distribution to Flocculation Basins Using DOE and RSA (실험계획법과 반응표면분석법을 적용한 응집지로의 유량분배에 관한 연구)

  • The inequitable flow distribution to flocculation basins is an important problem faced in many water treatment plants. This is caused by the structure of a distribution channel, the height differences of outlet weirs etc. But, a modified approach for the structures has no effectiveness to achieve flow equality. The aim of this study is to reduce the inequality by adopting optimized inlet valve opening (%) of the flocculation basins using DOE (Design of Experiments) and RSA (Response Surface Analysis). The inlet valve openings (%) and inflow distributions (%) of 6 paralleled basins were set as factors (X) and characteristics(Y) respectively. 2 level factorial experiments and RSA were conducted for optimization and regression analysis (Y = f(X) + Const.). Adopting the optimized inlet valve opening (%) at field, standard deviation of flow distribution (%) and effluent turbidity was declined from 3.80% to 0.42% and from 0.29 NTU to 0.03 NTU respectively.

A Design of Broadband N-way Resistance Power Divider (광대역 특성을 갖는 N-way 저항성 전력 분배기 설계)

  • In this paper, N-way resistance power divider is described for wideband frequency characteristic. For this, we derived in design equation of a N-way resistance power divider using 3-way resistance power divider. We designed 8-way resistance power divider that can divide same power by 7 output and measurement result of fabricated resistance power divider is observed to prove the validity of derived design equation. Fabricated resistance power divider shown equal power division ratio and reflection loss displayed excellent characteristic by about -25dB in broadband from DC to 3GHz.

  • This study relates to a device that increases efficiency by reducing air bubbles in a hydraulic system used in hydraulic machinery. The reverse design and product production of the bubble reduction device, which is a commercial product overseas, was carried out. Overseas commercial products were set as the base model, a rotary rotor and an inclined rotor were added to increase the surface area of the fluid, and an annular equal distribution part with a slot in the lower part was additionally applied to distribute the fluid evenly. In addition, internal flow trends were analyzed and a system that evenly distributes the linear flow of fluid was selected as the first improvement model. Based on the first improvement model, a case where the angle of the inclined rotor is 45° was selected as the second improvement model. Based on this, as a result of setting the exit width of the annular equally distributed part as a variable, the bubble reduction efficiency was highest when the lower slot diameter of the annular part was 10mm. Finally, the system in which the average cross-sectional flow velocity decreased by 147% compared to the Base Model was derived as the final improved model.

  • 하수처리장의 침전지 구조물은 고형물(SS) 및 현탁물을 침전, 제거하여 하수의 정화를 도모하는 시설로 초기 유입 하수의 생물학적 처리로 인해 발생되는 슬러지와 처리수를 분리함에 그 목적을 두고 있다. 침전지 구조물은 장소의 제약 및 침전지의 효율성 측면에서 많은 공법이 제안되고 있으며, 그중 이층 침전지의 경우 구조물의 시공비용 절감 및 공간 활용측면에서 단층 침전지에 비해 우수성을 인정받고 있다. 하지만 상 하 층에 위치하고 있는 침전지 유입부의 위치적 특성으로 인해 균등한 유량의 분배가 이루어지지 않고 유량이 한곳에 집중되는 현상으로 보일 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 3차원 수치모형인 FLOW-3D를 이용하여 이층 침전지의 유량분배 최적화를 위한 설계인자를 도출 하였다. 특히 상 하층에 위치하고 있는 유입부의 위치적인 특성을 고려하여 유입부의 직경을 상층 $500mm{\sim}600mm$, 하층 $500mm{\sim}700mm$으로 변화시키며 수치모의를 수행하였으며, 유입량의 분배효과를 확인하기 위해 각 동일한 위치에서 유입량을 산정하였다. 각 케이스별 분배효과를 분석한 결과 상 하층의 유입부 직경을 상층 600mm 와 하층 700mm를 적용했을 경우 유입량의 표준편차가 가장 작게 발생하며, 침전지 내부의 흐름이 원활하게 이루어지는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구에서는 상용 CFD모형인 FLOW-3D를 계획 중인 H하수처리장의 이층 침전지 설계에 적용하였으며 유입부 직경에 따른 분배효과를 분석하였다.

Unsteady Analysis of Hydraulic Behavior Characteristics in Water Treatment System Using CFD Simulation (CFD를 이용한 정수처리 공정 내 유량변동시 수리흐름 해석에 관한 연구)

  • The fluctuation of inlet flow to a water treatment plant makes a serious problem that it can change the outlet flowrate from each process abruptly. Since it takes very short time for the surface wave occurred from the fluctuation of inlet flow to reach the latter processes, it is impossible for operators to cope with that stably. In order to investigate the characteristics of hydraulic behavior for rectangular sedimentation basin in water treatment plant, CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulation were employed. From the results of both CFD simulations, it was confirmed that time taken for the follow-up processes by the fluctuation in intake well can be estimated by the propagation velocity of surface waves. Also, it takes very short time for the surface wave occurred from the fluctuation of inlet flow to reach the latter processes. In the case of inlet flowerate being increased sharply, local velocity within sedimentation basin appeared as wave pattern and increased due to convection current. Also, it could be observed that vortex made local velocity in the vicinity of bottom rise.

  • This paper proposes a parallel control method of a modular DC/DC converter for electric vehicle (EV) chargers. The EV chargers have been increasing the power capacity using modular converters. There are output current imbalances between the modules, which are caused by the difference of the impedance, delay of the gate driver, and error of the sensors. The conventional strategies for the equal distribution of the output current cause the voltage drop or the high volume and cost of the converters. Therefore, the proposed parallel control strategy effectively balances the output current of modules using a current compensation method. The proposed strategy is verified by simulations. Additional experimental results will be added under various conditions.

  • In this paper, a new algorithm is proposed which distributes multicast cells in a copy network. The dual copy network is composed of running adder network, distributor, dummy address encoder, and broadcasting network. It is operated lower input address and higher one simultaneously by the distribution algorithm. As a result, for each input has a better equal opportunity of processing, cell delay and hardware complexity are reduced in copy network. Also, for it adopts the broadcasting network from an expansion Banyan network with binary tree and Banyan network, overflow probability is reduced to a half in that network. As a result of computer simulation, the copy network processed by the distribution algorithm is remarkably improved in cell delay of input buffer according to all input loads.

  • A mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is an infrastructureless network that supports multi-hop communication. For the MANET nodes wishing to communicate with nodes in the wired Internet, the global Internet connectivity is required and this functionality can be achieved with the help of the Internet gateway. For the support of reliability and flexibility, multiple Internet gateways can be provisioned for a MANET. In this case, load-balancing becomes one of the important issues since the network performance such as the network throughput can be improved if the loads of the gateways are well-balanced. In this paper, we categorize the load-balancing mechanisms and propose a new metric for load-balancing. Simulation results show that our proposed mechanism using the hop distance and the number of routing table entries as a load-balancing metric enhances the overall network throughput.

Improvement of Hill Climbing Ability for 6WD/6WS Vehicle using Optimum Tire Force Distribution Method (최적 타이어 힘 분배를 이용한 6WD/6WS 차량의 등판 주행 성능 향상)

  • Multi-axle driving vehicle are favored for military use in off road operations because of their high mobility on extreme terrains and obstacles. Especially, Military Vehicle needs an ability to driving on hills of 60% angle slope. This paper presents the improvement of the ability of hill climbing for 6WD/6WS vehicle through the optimal tire force distribution method. From the driver's commands, the desired longitudinal force, the desired lateral force, and the desired yaw moment were obtained for the hill climbing of vehicle using optimal tire force distribution method. These three values were distributed to each wheel as the torque based on optimal tire force distribution method using friction circle and cost function. To verify the performance of the proposed algorithm, the simulation is executed using TruckSim software. Two vehicles, the one the proposed algorithm is implemented and the another the tire's forces are equivalently distributed, are compared. At the hill slop, the ability to driving on hills is improved by using the optimum tire force distribution method.
