Seismic Design of Rib-Reinforced RBS (Reduced Beam Section) Steel Moment Connections Based on Equivalent Strut Model (등가 스트럿 모델에 의한 리브 보강 RBS 철골모멘트접합부의 내진설계)

  • This paper describes a seismic design procedure for rib-reinforced RBS(Reduced Beam Section) steel moment connections. Engineers often use rib plates to enhance seismic performance of steel moment connections. thinking that the 2nd moment of inertia is increased so that the tensile stress in the beam flange groove weld is reduced However the force transfer mechanism in the rib connections is completely different from that as predicted by the classical beam theory ; a clear diagonal strut action is present in the rib. By treating the rib as a strut the writer has recently proposed an equivalent strut model that could be used as the basis of a practical design procedure. In this paper the proposed equivalent strut model is briefly presented first. A step-by-step design procedure is then recommended based on the proposed model.

Influence of Cardiac Contraction and its Phase Angle with Coronary Blood flow on Atherosclerosis of Coronary Artery (심장의 수축운동과 관상동맥 혈류와의 위상차가 관상동맥 혈관의 동맥경화 민감성에 미치는 영향)

  • Coronary arteries are subjected to very different flow conditions compared to other arteries in systemic blood circulation. We Performed a computational fluid dynamic research to investigate influence of such flow conditions in coronary arteries on development and progress of atherosclerosis in the same. The results showed big differences in the flow field of the coronary artery compared to the abdominal and femoral arteries. The coronary artery showed higher wall shear stresses due to the small vessel diameter. On the other hand, it showed only one vortex distal to the stenosis throat during a whole pulse cycle. However. several vortices were observed in the abdominal and femoral arteries in both proximal and distal sides of the stenosis throat The wall shear stresses and extent of recirculation area were increased with impedance phase angle increasing toward more negative values. Therefore, cardiac contraction and the negative impedance phase angle as large as -110。 may induce a flow field that accelerates atherosclerosis.

  • A dynamic mathematical model of a thermal power plant with a single drum-type boiler is described with the base on modular concept. The present process model, which is including full scope of the components and high load changes, is based on physical approach through lumped parameters. The module, which means a component of the power plant and must essentially depict the characteristics of the component well, might be interconnected using pressure nodal method in a arrangement determined by users. With the results of the load changes of 75 MW to 95 MW and 95MW to 75 MW with the rate of 3 MW/min, the applicability of the process model is examined connecting to DCS(Dispersion Control System), which has a real running logic of 100 MW real power plant.

  • Numerical analysis model was used to analyse the behaviors of multiple bolted connections. Axial-bending element was supposed as basic model, and the effects of frame members and steel fasteners were classified for the behavior analysis. In the condition only two bolts were used, the traditional analytical methods, which show somewhat accuracy, have some advantages more than numerical analysis that need many time consuming, However, more many bolts were used in practical field condition. Also, it is impossible to analyse the behaviors of various bolts layouts and arrangements conditions by traditional analytical methods. Therefore, there is only numerical analysis method for the accurate behavioranalysis on the practical bolted connection condition. Therefore, numerical analysis method was applied on the various multiple bolted connections. On the result exactness and the reflection of connection condition, numerical analysis method showed the superiority more than widely used traditional empirical analysis methods as yield model.

  • 전동기와 부하시스템은 직결, 혹은 커플링을 통하여 연결이 된다. 이때의 동력을 전달하는 커플링, 기어, 벨트 등의 특성에 따라 전달되는 토크의 특성이 달라진다. 본 논문에서는 동력 축과 부하 축을 기구적으로 분리가 가능한 영구자석 커플링을 적용한 구동 전동기-부하시스템에 축계 시스템 해석을 위하여 유한요소 해석을 통하여 비틀림 각도 변화에 따른 전달 토크를 얻고, 이를 활용하여 기구 해석 모델에 적용해 보고, 전동기-부하 시스템의 토크 변동 가능성에 대해 알아본다.

  • ISO 7498-2 정보보호 구조에서는 컴퓨터 네트워크 구조에서의 안전성 문제를 해결하기 위하여 5가지의 기본적인 정보보호 서비스로 인증, 액세스 제어, 무결성, 기밀성, 부인-봉쇄를 정의하였다. 이 가운데 부인-봉쇄는 이미 발생한 통신 사실을 부인할 수 없도록 송수신자간의 통신 사실을 증명해 주는 서비스이다. 이 서비스에 대해 ISO/IEC JTC1/SC27에서는 현재 일반 모델에 대해서는 CD 13888-1로 대칭 암호화 알고리즘 이용에 대해서는 CD 13888-2로 규정 중에 있다. 본 고에서는 부인-봉쇄에 대한 개념을 살펴보고, 부인-봉쇄 메커니즘을 중심으로 부인-봉쇄 서비스에 대하여 고찰하였다.

  • 철도는 평탄부, 고가부 및 성토부.절토부 등의 다양한 지형구조에 걸쳐서 뻗어 있으며, 지금까지는 평탄부와 고가부를 대상으로 하여 철도소음의 전파예측에 대한 검토를 해왔다. 본 연구에서는 유한 임피던스의 흡음성 Wedge 구조를 갖는 성토부 선로의 주행열차를 대상으로 소음전파 예측모델의 작성 및 소음전파 측정을 통하여 성토 선로구조에서의 철도소음 전파예측에 대하여 검토하였다.

  • 대청호 수질관리를 위한 대책 수립시 상류유역의 유출 및 오염부하배출 특성을 평가하는 것이 중요하다. 유역의 수환경 영향을 평가하기 위해서 복잡한 수문 수질 모델을 이용하는데 사용자 편의성을 고려한 모델 개발과 이용이 필요하다. L-THIA ArcView GIS 모형은 토지이용도, 토양도, 일강우 자료만으로 직접유출의 모의가 가능하여 전 세계적으로 널리 이용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 L-THIA ArcView GIS 모형을 이용하여 대청호 상류유역인 안내천, 월외천 유역의 직접유출 및 비점오염 배출부하 특성을 평가하였다. 직접 유출량 평가 결과, 결정계수($R^2$)와 유효지수(EI)가 월외천 유역 및 안내천 유역에서 각각 0.95, 0.93 및 0.81, 0.71로 나타나, L-THIA ArcView GIS 모형이 실측치를 잘 재현하는 것으로 나타났다. 강우유출수에 포함된 SS 및 T-P 오염부하량 평가결과, 결정계수($R^2$)가 월외천 유역과 안내천 유역에서 각각 0.53, 0.95 및 0.89, 0.89로 평가되었다. 또한 유효지수(EI)가 월외천 유역과 안내천 유역에서 각각 0.44, 0.95 및 0.98, 0.99로 평가되었다. SS 부하량 평가 결과에서 월외천 유역이 안내천 유역보다 정확성이 낮은 것은 지역특성에 따라 SS 부하량 차이가 크기 때문이다. 따라서 L-THIA ArcView GIS 모형의 지속적인 개선이 이루어진다면 대청호 만입부 상류유역에서의 각종 수질관리대책 평가에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • We introduce a new architecture of TSK-based fuzzy inference system. The proposed model used fuzzy c-means clustering method(FCM) for efficient disposal of data. The premise part of fuzzy rules don't assume any membership function such as triangular, gaussian, ellipsoidal because we construct the premise part of fuzzy rules using FCM. As a result, we can reduce to architecture of model. In this paper, we are able to use four types of polynomials as consequence part of fuzzy rules such as simplified, linear, quadratic, modified quadratic. Weighed Least Square Estimator are used to estimates the coefficients of polynomial. The proposed model is evaluated with the use of Boston housing data called Machine Learning dataset.

A Study on New Service Model Based on Centralized Conference Model in SIP Environment (SIP 환경에서의 중앙 집중형 컨퍼런스 모델 기반의 새로운 서비스 모델에 관한 연구)

  • SIP(Session Initiation Protocol)-based centralized conference service model has advantage of easiness in conference management and service as compared to other models. However when media server which is one of the components of conference server is included in the conference server, this model shows disadvantage of high server work load with increasing numbers of conferences and participants. In this paper, to improve this problem, we have suggested and implemented a new conference service model in which an UA(User Agent) who first make the conference acts as a media server instead of conventional conference server and, the conference server with conference event package takes only part of management of the conference and its participants. Therefore, many more conferences can be held and managed compared to the conventional centralized conference service model because load of the conference server decreases in our suggested model md, furthermore the participants needs only make SIP call connections to the UA who first make the conference for establishing media session.
