  • 본 연구에서는 해양 생태계를 파괴하지 않으면서 해양공간을 개발할 수 있는 환경친화형의 부유체식 구조물을 마리나 시설에 적용하는 방안에 대하여 논한다. 특히 환경 친화형의 다목적용 마리나 시설을 정온 수역이 유지되는 우리나라 서남해안에 적용하는 시스템에 관하여 논한다.

A Study on the Container Yard of Mega-Float Offshore Structure Type (부유체식 Container Yard에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, mega-float offshore structure is studied as one of the effective utilization of the ocean space. And mega-float structure are now being considered for various applications such as floating airports, container yard, offshore cities and so on. This mega-float structure is relatively flexible compared with real floating structures like large ships. when we estimate dynamic responses of these structures in waves, the elastic deformation is important, because vertical dimension is small compared with horizontal. The analysis of the dynamic response as it receives regular wave is studied. The finite element method is used in the analysis of structural section of this model. And the analysis is carried out using the boundary element method int eh fluid division. In order to know the characteristics of the dynamic response of the mega-float structures, effects of wavelength, water depth, and wave direction on dynamic response of the floating structure are studied by use of numerical calculation.

  • 국민소득 증대와 주 5일 근무제 시행으로 육상레저관광에서 해양레저관광으로 그 추이가 이동되고 있다. 해양레저를 즐기고자하는 수요는 증가하고 있으나, 기반시설 부족으로 활성화가 이루어지지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 특히 우리나라 서남해안 해역은 2,000 여개의 다도해가 자연방파제 역할을 하고 있으므로 해양레저 산업을 활성화 시키는데 적합한 천혜의 자연조건을 보유하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 우리나라 해양레저 기반시설의 현황과 문제점을 분석하고, 서남해안 해양레저 산업 활성화에 필요한 친환경 마리나 시설 구축에 관한 자연조건, 해상조건 분석, 다목적용 마리나 시설에 관하여 논한다.

  • To install a radar reflector on small ships, such as a small fishing vessel, a fishery buoy, and a barge ship for fishery, it is very important to develop the optimal system which may determine a proper installation location. For this, the response characteristics how waves have an effect on the small ships should be accurately analyzed. In this paper, we analyze the dynamic behaviors of small ships, which may be caused by irregular waves. To do this, we investigate how a barge ship responses to wavelength, water depth, and directions of incoming waves. The analyzed results shall be utilized to evaluate an effect on a radar cross section when we install an radar reflector on a barge ship for fishery and a small ship.

A Plan for Building up Echo-marine Leisure Infrastructure for the Industrial Growth to Marine Leisure at Ho-Nam Area (호남지역 해양레저산업 발전을 위한 친환경 해양레저 기반시설 구축방안)

  • Many countries foster the tour and leisure industries as a national strategic industry of the 21st century. The tour and leisure industry is expected to be reorganized from the land-based industry to the ocean-based industry as the GNP in a nation is over USD $20,000{\sim}30,000$ dollars. In Korea, since we adopt a five-day week, the total working hours for a week is shortened. As the result, leisure activities in family, such as experience tour, ecological tour, travel, and overnight tour, are expected to be increased. Leisure and sports tours, which link the tour and sports to rafting, hang gliding, and marine leisure, have been also increased over 21.6%. A number of small and big islands near Ho-Nam coastal areas play an important role as natural breakwater. Thus, the ports in Ho-Nam area is safely protected from physical effects by ocean waves and is maintained without constructing a breakwater. In this paper, we analyses the required conditions as the marine leisure base in the southwest sea area which has the natural advantages for marine leisure. We also discuss how to activate the yacht business on Ho-Nam coast area. And then we analyse the present situations and obstacles of a domestic marine leisure. We also suggest the plan to build up echo-marine leisure infrastructure for industrial growth of marine leisure in Ho-Nam area.

Wave Response Analysis for Pontoon-type Pier: Very Large Floating Structure (폰툰형 초대형 부유체식 부두의 파랑응답해석)

  • In this study, we proposed a pier of pontoon-type, "Very Large Floating Structure" (VLFS), with the length of 500m, breadth of 200 m and height of 2 m in Yeosu domestic port. Since this structure ought to endure wave loads for long periods at sea, it is essential to analyze the wave response characteristics. Direct-method is used to analyze the fluid-structure problem and the coupled motion of equation is used to obtain response results. The structural part is calculated by using finite element method (FEM) and the fluid part is analyzed by using boundary element method (BEM). Dynamic responses caused by the elastic deformation and rigid motion of structure are analyzed by numerical calculation. To investigate response characteristics of the pier in regular waves, several factors such as the wavelength, water depth, wave direction and flexural rigidity of structure are considered. As a result, wave response of pier changed at the point of $L/{\lambda}$ 1.5 and represented the torsional phenomenon according to the various incident waves. And the responses showed increasing tendency as the water depths increase at the incident point in case of $L/{\lambda}=8.0$ and peak point of vertical displacement amplitude moved from side to side as the flexural rigidity of structure changes.
