The Combined Method of Structure Selection and Parameter Identification of Equations of Motion to Analyze the Model Tests of a Submerged Body (몰수체 모형 시험 해석을 위한 운동방정식의 구조 선택 및 계수 식별 결합법)

  • To accurately predict the motion of a submergible, the nonlinear structure of dynamic model should be selected and corresponding parameters should be estimated using model test. Providing the model structure, only the values of parameters are unknown and the estimation can thus be formulated as a standard least square problem. Unfortunately, the nonlinear model structure of submersibles is rarely known a prior and method of model structure determination from measurement data of model test should be developed and included as a vital part of the estimation procedure. In this study, the well-known linear least square algorithm for the analysis of model tests and a way to measure the goodness are reviewed, and the identification algorithm based on an orthogonal decomposition method of Gram-Schmidt is extended to combine structure selection and maneuvering coefficients estimation in a very simple and efficient manner. Finally, the efficiency of this algorithm is verified by using simulation and applying to the analysis of model test of a submerged body. As a result, it was verified that this combined method might be very erective in selecting the structure of dynamic model estimating the maneuvering coefficients from measurement fiat of model test.

A Study on Behavioral Intention on u-Health using Health Promotion Model (건강증진모형을 활용한 유헬스 시스템의 행위 의도 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors on behavioral intention in u-health system using Health Promotion Model(HPM) by Pender [11]. This study used PLS-SEM(Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling) method for verification of the proposed model and conducted the analysis with sample data of 216 respondents. As a result of the analysis, a path from individual experience to personal health and also, path from self-efficacy to behavioral intention had the highest influence in the research model. Also, it was confirmed that the only factor that affect health promotion behavior was 'self-efficacy' variable in u-health system. However, in the future time, additional research is needed in that this study has small sample data and needs more clear definition on u-health system.

  • The aim of this study was to apply the Importance-Performance Map (IPM) method based on PLS-SEM by extending the importance-performance analysis (IPA), which is an existing method to grasp strategic policies through the difference of importance and satisfaction of existing competitiveness factors. For this application, this study was applied to research related to policy measures that can survive and spread in global competition by analyzing strategic factors of information technology (IT) convergence industry. The development of IT convergence industry, which is the subject of this study, has the effect of revitalizing related industry development and employment activation. Therefore, this study expanded the possibility of applying this research methodology to research the strategic factors to activate exports of SMEs (Small and medium-sized enterprises) in the convergency industry. In order to achieve this goal, the analytical methodology of this study was applied and the policy measures for IT SMEs. Therefore, based on the analysis results of this study, this study can apply this research methodology to other fields as a strategic tool in establishing and enforcing policies for export activation of IT convergence industry.

Relationship Analysis between Factors on Smartphone Usage of Tourists (관광객의 스마트폰 사용 요인 간 관계 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between tourist 's intention to use smartphone and the preceding factors through the questionnaire. For achieving this research purpose, this study surveyed the tourists who use smartphone to investigate the influence of interactivity such as two-way communication and synchronicity as hypotheses on the influence of flow, and the effect of attitude factors on continuous intention to use was analyzed by research model. In this study, a partial least squares based structural equation (PLS-SEM) method was applied to verify the hypothesis of the proposed research model. Finally, the validity of the proposed research model was confirmed through confirmatory factor analysis and hypothesis testing. Therefore, the results of this study show that interactivity and flow are influential for the reuse of users in utilizing information by using smartphone, and it affects the attitude of users in developing smart tourism system in the future. The results of this study can be utilized as basic data related to the acquisition of information by smartphone of tourists in the future development of smart tourism system.
