Manufacture of Dismantling Apparatus for Waste CPU Chip and Performance Evaluation (폐 CPU 칩의 해체장치 제작 및 성능 평가)

  • In this study, Au distribution in F-PGA chip and W-BGA chip were examined to recover Au effectively from CPU chips. The result showed that 80.8% and 89.8% of Au exist in terminal of F-PGA chip and bare die of W-BGA chip, respectively. Based on the fact that Au exists in specific parts of the chips, an CPU chip dismantling apparatus was developed. The experimental variables were roller rotating speed, heat temperature of IR heater and heating time. Terminals of F-PGA chips were completely recovered under the temperature of $300^{\circ}C$ and the residence time of 90 s. Bare dies of W-BGA chips were completely recovered as well under the temperature of $300^{\circ}C$, the roller rotating rate of 90 rpm and the residence time of 90 s.

Design and Realization of Metal Waveguide Antenna for Improving Electric field Uniformity (전계분포 균일성 향상을 위한 철사 도파관 안테나 설계 및 제작)

  • 본 논문에서 하지 정맥 지료를 위한 마이크로파 시스템에서 사용될 가열 안테나의 전계 분포를 균일하게 형성시키기 위해 철사 도파관 안테나를 설계 및 제작하였다. 일반적인 도파관 안테나에 경우 안테나 중심 부분에 전계가 가장 세게 분포되어 온도가 다른 곳에 비해 차이가 많이 나므로 인체 피부가 회상을 입힐 위험이 있다. 제안된 철사 도파관 안테나는 끝단에 가느다란 철을 이용하여 전기장을 철사 부분에 집중시켜 안테나 중앙 부분에 집중된 전기장을 분산되도록 설계하였다. 따라서 전기장을 소스로 하는 온도도 균일하게 분포하게 된다. 제안된 철사 도파관 안테나 내부의 전계 분포는 Ansoft 사의 HFSS, 온도 분포는 CST 사의 MWS(Microwave Studio)를 이용하여 시뮬레이션을 하였고, 일반적인 안테나 경우보다 더 균일한 전계와 온도 분포 특성을 보임을 확인하였다. 제작된 철사 안테나는 사용주파수 15GHz에서 -10dB 이하의 반사 손실을 보였다. 또한 안테나 타당성을 검증하기 위해 개구면 앞에 돼지 껍데기를 두고 일정시간 가열하여 일반 안테나와 제안된 철사 도파관 안테나 온도 분포를 비교하였다. 열화상 카메라를 이용한 실험결과 일반 안테나에 경우 중앙과 가장 자리부분 사이에 약 $29^{\circ}C$, 제안된 철사 도파관 안테나에 경우에는 약 $12.5^{\circ}C$의 차이를 보였다. 이를 통해 제안된 철사 도파관 안테나가 전계 분포 균일성 향상에 기여함을 확인하였다.

A study for detection of melt flow zone about polyethylene butt fusion joints (폴리에틸렌 배관 버트융착부 열용융거리 측정에 대한 연구)

  • Polyethylene pipes has useful benefits which are anti-corrosive and flexible material, so it is used to gas pipes but also class 3 water pipes of nuclear power plant, process pipes of petrochemical plant and chemical plant. So the usage of polyethylene pipes is widely increased. But it has been limited for the usage of polyethylene, because it can not be directly detected to fusion joints by using non destructive evaluation. Polyethylene pipes are connected by two methods, one is butt fusion and the other is electrofusion. Butt fusion is widely used to connecting the pipes. It is proposed to method for determining the reliability of joints in this study that is detection of the melt flow zone at fusion joints. In this study, middle density polyethylene is used, outside diameter of the test specimen is 225mm and thickness is 20.5mm. Speed of ultrasonic of this test specimen is 2,200m/s. Test specimens were fabricated by varying the heating time which means from 0% to 130% applying time through heating plate to polyethylene for detecting melt flow zone. Also 4 additional test specimens were made, one was made that not scrapping attached surface of pipes but applying 100% of the proper heating time and the others were made to include of soil, gravel and vinly tape paper at fusion joints, that were also applied 100% of proper heating time. Ultrasonic testing to measure the melt flow zone of 20 test specimens was conducted by using 3.5MHz and 5.0MHz ultrasonic probes and melt flow zone measuring was conducted to three times at different point to one specimen. To differentiate the melt flow zone signal, post image processing was equally conducted to all test results and image levels, contrast, sharpen, threshold were adopted to all teat results and the test results were displayed gray scale. From the results, for the shorter heating times the reflection area of multiple echo have been increased, so the data was obtained from the position where it can be eliminated as much as possible. At 80% of proper heating time(168 sec.), the signal of melt flow zone was obtained clearly, so measuring could be conducted. From 7% of proper heating time(15 sec.) to shorter heating times. we could not obtain the signal because test specimen was not fused. From the result, we can verify that measuring of melt flow zone by using phased array ultrasonic imaging method is possible. And we can verify to complete and incomplete butt fusion by measuring the melt flow zone.

  • The thermal diffusivity of lead germanate single crystal was measured from room temperture up to the $200^{\circ}C$ by heating method. The thermal diffusivities were measured as k=0.0117, 0.0105, and $0.0112cm^2/^{\circ}C$ at $30^{\circ}C$, $177^{\circ}C$, and $180^{\circ}C$, respectively. It is identified that the heat capacity of the lead germanate single crystal is maximum at $177^{\circ}C$, and this point is phase transition temperature of $Pb_5Ge_3O_{11}$ single crystal.

반구형 간극에서의 비등 가시화 실험

  • 반구형 간극에서의 비등시 이상 유체의 유동 가시화 실험을 수행하였다. 가시화를 위해 투명한 유리로 제작한 외부 용기는 내부의 가열 용기와 1mm 간격을 이루도록 하였으나 외부 용기가 완전한 반구 형태를 이루지 못하여 간극의 크기가 균일하지 못하였다. 열속이 높아짐에 따라 간극이 좁은 부분에서는 밖으로 빠져 나오려는 증기와 상부의 물이 역류유동제한 현상을 일으켜 물이 공급되지 못하였고 간극이 큰 부분에서는 물이 다수의 유로를 형성하며 증기와 분리되어 간극 내부로 공급되었다. CCFL 을 일으켜 물이 공급되지 못한 부분에서는 히터 표면이 건조되어 국부적인 CHF(Critical Heat Flux)가 발생하였다.

Electric Fan Heater Design for Eco-Energy Saving (친환경 에너지 절감형 전기온풍기 기구설계)

  • As the Eco-energy is recently required, electrical energy is fast increased. Several induction heating methods are attractive for Eco-energy and energy saving. In this paper, electrical fan heater was designed and developed with new concept for energy saving by electromagnetic induction heating. Proposed system was composed of three module, blast part, induction heating part and power transformation part. Induction heating method was adapted for heating and the resonant inverter was used for increasing of the power transformation efficiency. Full-bridge resonant inverter was adopted to resonant inverter. This system was composed of induction heating part made with metal(SUS 40 series), and power transformation part made with rectifier module, filter module and resonant inverter. From these results, the proposed new electric heater could be saved the energy from faster increasing the temperature compared to commercial gas and other electric heater. This electrical fan heater is possible to be used in field of home, commercial and agricultural area for eco-energy saving heater.

  • The present paper has been accomplished to elucidate the characteristics of temperature change in a car washer heater system for removal of frost formed at the surface of a car. The previous studies had used a simplified mathematical modeling to analyse the temperature change characteristics for a car washer heater system. In the present study, an unsteady computational fluid flow and heat transfer analysis for a washer heater system has been done by using computational fluid dynamic analysis method. From the present CFD analysis, the time dependent temperature change in a car washer heater system has been analysed and derived the heating time and ejection temperature of the washer liquid to establish the optimal design basis for a washer heater system.

  • 배기 decoupling chamber룰 갖고 있는 맥동 연소 급수가열기에 대한 수학적인 모델링과 관련된 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 하였고, 이 때 계에 대한 맥동 현상과 관련된 열적 및 동적 특성을 고려 였다. 시뮬레이션결과 시동기간에 대한 계의 각 부분에서 일어나는 열전달, 압력 및 온도를 구 였고 또한 해석의 제한성과 개선의 필요성을 논의하였다. 이 연구에서 얻어진 결과는 도관에서 맥동에 의한 대류열전달을 예측하기 위한 모델을 세우는데 활용될 수 있다.

A Study on the Thermoacoustic Sound Generation by Steep Temperature Gradient (급격한 온도구배에 의한 열음향 발생에 관한 연구)

  • 파이프의 양 끝단에 심한 온도구배가 형성될 때 음향이 발생한다는 사실은 이미 알려진 사실이다. 본 연구는 열구동식 열음향냉동기를 구현하기 위해서 1단계로 열원에 의한 음향발생을 달성하고자 했다. 이를 위해 1/4 파장의 열음향 발생장치를 설계 및 제작하여 실험에 사용하였다. 열음향 발생기는 직경 3cm, 길이 16cm의 공명관에 가열부, 박판집적체, 고온부 및 저온부의 열교환기로 구성되며 발생음의 기본주파수는 520Hz로 설계하였다. 고온부를 38$0^{\circ}C$로 가열한 결과 열음향발생기의 개구부로부터 1m 떨어진 곳에서 최초 음압측정값이 약 112dB, 음향출력으로 약 1와트에 해당하는 값을 얻었다. 박판집적체에 급격한 온도구배가 형성되면서 주변의 기체가 자발적인 진동을 하여 형성된 음향동력중 일부는 공명관 벽에 흡수되고 일부는 열교환기에서 점성에 의해 소산된다. 따라서 실제로 음향으로 변하는 부분은 이들을 감한 부분인데 실험결과 약 53%의 음향 생성효율을 달성했으며 이는 스위프트 등이 얻었던 결과보다 우수하다.

  • A light-guide is one of several important components of backlight unit in TFT-LCD. The manufacturing technology and optical system design of the light guide is very sensitive to quality and cost of the TFT-LCD module. In the present study a new manufacturing method which is called as direct surface forming(DSF) has been tested under various conditions. DSF is very similar to the well-known hot embossing except for partial contact between mold and substrate. The final V-groove pattern shows different shapes depend on the temperature of mold surface, contact time of mold and depth of V-groove.
