장애아동 어머니의 우울에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Affecting Depression in Mothers of Children with Disabilities)

  • 목적 본 연구는 장애아동 어머니의 우울, 양육스트레스 및 자아존중감의 관련성을 파악하고 우울에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 방법 본 연구는 2012년 9월부터 10월까지 8주 동안 K시의 언어치료실을 내원하는 장애아동의 어머니를 100명을 대상으로 하였다. 본 연구의 목적, 참여의 자발성 및 비밀보장 등을 설명하고 협조를 구한 후, 연구 참여에 동의한 부모에게 구조화된 도구를 사용하여 측정하였다. 수집된 자료는 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson Correlation Coefficient와 다중회귀분석을 이용하였다. 결과 우울은 자아존중감과 유의한 부적 상관관계(r=-.580, p = <.001)가 있었으며, 우울과 양육스트레스는 정적 상관관계(r=.406, p = <.001)가 있었다. 장애아동 어머니의 우울에 영향을 미치는 요인은 자아존중감(${\beta}$=-.365), 양육스트레스(${\beta}$=.297), 가족의 수입(${\beta}$=-.205)이 장애아동 어머니의 우울을 유의하게 설명하는 예측 변인으로 확인되었다(F=16.170, p <.001). 즉 장애아동 어머니의 자아존중감이 높을수록, 양육스트레스가 낮을수록, 가족의 수입이 많을수록 우울이 낮았으며 이들 변수들로 총 38.7%의 설명력을 나타냈다 결론 장애아동의 어머니의 자아존중감이 높을수록, 양육스트레스가 낮을수록, 우울 정도는 낮아지므로 장애아동의 효율적인 돌봄을 제공하기 위해서는 장애아동의 어머니에게 자아존중감을 높이고 양육스트레스를 감소시켜 우울을 향상시킬 수 있는 간호중재가 마련되어야 할 것이다.

가족친화적 지역사회 인식이 미취학자녀 부모의 양육 효능감 및 양육 스트레스에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Perceived Family-Friendliness of Community on Parenting Efficacy and Stress among Parents with Preschoolers)

  • The aim of this study is to examine how perceived family-friendliness of community influences parents' efficacy and stress. This study asks three research questions: 1) what is the geographical boundary of community perceived by parents with pre-school children, 2) how the components of family-friendly community affect parents' perception on family-friendliness of their communities, 3) how the perceived family-friendliness of their community affects parenting efficacy and stress. Drawing on a sample of 628 parents(318 males, 310 females) who had at least one pre-school child, we analyze the data by frequencies, means and hierarchical regressions. The major findings are as follows. While the responses on the geographical boundary of community varies the most frequent response is 'Gu'. Both knowledge on family service infra and community social capital, which consist of family-friendly community, affect the perception of family-friendliness of community. The perceived family-friendliness of community is positively associated with parenting efficacy and negatively associated with parenting stress. The effect of the perceived family-friendliness of community on parenting efficacy disappears when social capital is included in the model. There is no such pattern in the association between the perceived family-friendliness of community and parenting stress.

미취학 자녀를 둔 어머니의 양육행동 구조모형 (Structural Modeling of Parenting Behavior of Mothers with Preschool Children)

  • Purpose: This study was done to build and test a theoretical model that could be used to explain and predict parenting behavior of mothers with preschool children. Methods: The participants were 298 mothers with preschool children. Data were analyzed using the SAS (Statistical Analysis System) and AMOS (Analysis of Moment Structures) programs. Results: Parenting stress showed a direct effect on parenting satisfaction. Parenting efficacy showed a direct effect on parenting behavior. Parenting stress showed an indirect effect on parenting behavior. Parenting efficacy was found to mediate the relationship between parenting stress and parenting behavior. Income and mother's perfectionism had an impact on parenting behavior. Conclusion: The outcomes of this study indicate the necessity of designing intervention programs that emphasize increasing parenting efficacy in order to increase positive parenting behavior.

유아 어머니의 양육스트레스, 분노, 분노표현 유형의 관계 (The Relation Among Parenting Stress, Anger and Anger Expression in Infant's Mothers)

  • 본 연구는 유아 어머니의 양육스트레스, 분노, 분노표현 유형 정도를 파악하고 분노표현 유형에 영향을 미치는 변인을 알아보기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. K시의 유치원과 어린이 집에 재원하고 있는 3-6세 아동의 어머니 205명을 대상으로 설문지를 배부하여 자료 수집을 실시하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 19.0 통계 program을 이용하여 실수, 백분율, 평균, 표준편차, t-test, ANOVA, 상관관계, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구결과 양육스트레스의 평균 점수는 2.32점이었고, 상태분노 1.36점, 특성분노 1.85점으로 나타났다. 분노표현 유형의 하위척도인 분노표출의 평균 점수는 1.84점이었고, 분노억제 1.75점, 분노조절 2.31점으로 나타났다. 양육스트레스는 상태분노, 특성분노, 분노표출, 분노억제와 정적상관관계를 보였고 분노조절은 부적상관관계를 보였다. 상태분노는 특성분노, 분노표출, 분노억제와 정적상관관계, 분노조절은 부적상관관계를 보였다. 특성분노는 분노표출, 분노억제와 정적상관관계, 분노조절과 부적상관관계를 보였다. 분노표출은 분노억제와 정적상관관계이고 분노조절과 부적상관관계를 보였다. 분노표현 유형에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인하기 위해 회귀분석을 실시한 결과 양육스트레스, 상태분노, 특성분노가 분노표현 유형에 유의하게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 자녀양육에 필요한 정보와 기술 제공뿐 만 아니라 어머니의 분노를 조절하고 양육스트레스를 감소시킬 수 있는 부모교육프로그램의 개발이 필요하다.

맞벌이 부부의 양육 스트레스에 영향을 미치는 생태학적 관련 변인 탐색 (An Ecological Approach to Analysis of Variables in the Parenting Stress of the Dual-Earner Mothers and Fathers)

  • The objective of this research was to determine the relative impact of demographic variables and ecological factors on the parenting stress of dual earner families. Subjects were 318 fathers and 405 mothers who completed the questionnaire on parenting stress and ecological factors. Results showed that mothers perceived high parenting stress compared with fathers. Degree of satisfaction with child care was a significant correlate of parenting stress. Demographic and ecological factors were also important in understanding the variation in parenting stress of dual earner families. These findings imply that the formal child care systems and parent education programs are needed for working parents.

젊은 유방암 환자의 자녀 특성에 따른 양육 스트레스, 양육 행동 및 부모교육 요구도 (Parenting Stress, Parental Behaviors and Need for Parental Education Relative to Children Characteristics of Young Women with Breast Cancer)

  • Purpose: This study was designed to explore the parental stress, behaviors and need for parental education of young women with breast cancer and how these variables are related to their children characteristics. Methods: The subjects were 110 young women with breast cancer who have a child. Data were collected using questionnaire of parenting stress, parental behaviors and need for parental education. Results: The subjects reported many unmet needs for parental education, and have the highest level of need for education related to breast cancer. Women with daughters have higher level of need for parental education compared to subjects with sons. There was a negative correlation between parenting stress and parental behaviors and between parenting stress and need of parental education. Conclusion: As these results, the development and application of parental education program for mothers with breast cancer in the future should be considered with the demographic characteristics, the social and cultural environment, parenting stress, and parental behaviors of parents and children.

학령전기 아동 어머니의 부모역할 만족도 관련 요인 (Factors Related to Parenting Satisfaction among Mothers of Preschoolers)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify factors related to level of satisfaction among mothers of preschoolers. Methods: Participants were 359 mothers of firstborn healthy preschoolers. The questionnaires were collected from August 1 to November 21, 2012. Data were analyzed using SPSS 20.0. Results: The mean score for degree of mothers' parenting satisfaction was 5.94 out of 7. There were significant differences in the level of parenting satisfaction according to mother's job (t=2.48, p=.014), planned pregnancy (t=3.07, p=.002), number of children (t=2.22, p=.027), and parenting education (F=4.33, p=.005). The environmental variables of age of spouse (F=3.06, p=.048) and monthly income of the household (F=2.87, p=.036) also seemed to have an influence. Analysis of predictors such as the mother's job, planned pregnancy, parenting education, overall health problems, parenting stress, perception of emotional status and behaviors in children, age of spouse, and spouse's support explained 31.5% of the variance in mother's parenting satisfaction. Conclusion: The results suggest a need to develop nursing intervention programs for parenting stress reduction, and health programs for fathers to support mothers' child rearing.

부모교육으로서의 부모놀이치료 효과에 대한 연구 (Effectiveness of Filial Play Therapy as Parent Education)

  • This study on filial play therapy training as parent education included 12 experimental group mothers, 11 control group mothers, and their 5-year-old children. Over 5 weeks, experimental group mothers received 2 hours filial therapy training 10 times, twice a week, and 30 minutes home special play 4 times, once a week. Each mother was videotaped playing with her child and completed three self-report instruments : Parental Acceptance Scale(Porter, 1954), Parenting Stress Index(Abidin, 1990), and Child Behavior Checklist(Oh et al., 1997) before and after the training. Pre- and post-test data was analyzed by paired-t test. Filial play therapy training enhanced empathy in adult-child interaction during free play. Significant increases appeared in parental acceptance level of child's feeling and autonomy.

걸음마기 아동의 어머니를 대상으로 한 부모존경-자녀존중 부모교육 프로그램의 효과 (The Effectiveness of the Respected Parents and Respected Children Parent Education Program for Mothers of Toddlers)

  • Objective: This study used a pre-test and post-test quasi-experimental design to evaluate the effectiveness of the Respected Parents & Respected Children parent education program developed for mothers of toddlers. Methods: A total of 40 mothers were assigned to two groups, an intervention group (n = 20) and a waiting group (n = 20). Mothers in the intervention group participated in six weekly sessions of the parent education program. After the termination of the program, differences between the preand post-test in terms of mothers' parenting characteristics (i.e., parenting behaviors, parenting efficacy, and parenting stress) and toddlers' social and emotional characteristics were compared in both groups. Results: Mothers in the intervention group showed significant improvement in their parenting behaviors and parenting efficacy and decreased parenting stress, whereas mothers in the waiting group did not show any significant differences between pre- and post-test scores. Mothers in the intervention group also reported a significant improvement in their toddlers' level of imitation/play. Conclusion: These findings indicate that the Respected Parents & Respected Children parent education program is effective in bringing about positive changes in both mothers' and toddlers' characteristics, which can be crucial for the future developmental outcomes of children.

유아기 자녀를 둔 다문화가족 부모자녀관계 증진을 위한 부모교육프로그램 개발 및 효과성 연구 (A Study on the Development and Effects of a Parenting Training Program for Improving Parent-Child Relationships in Multi-cultural Families)

  • This study centred around the development of a parenting training program for improving parent-child relationships in multi-cultural families and to examine the effects of the program. The goal of this program was to improve parent-child relationships in multi-cultural families. The program consists of 8 sessions and each session employs a variety of activities and teaching methods to help multi-cultural mothers to become more involved in the a program. The participants were 12 mothers of multi-cultural backgrounds in Seoul and Asan city. There 12 mothers were assigned to the experimental group participated in this program for a total of 8 sessions. Data were analyzed according to frequencies, percentiles, means, standard deviations, and paired t-test. The results of this study indicated that this parenting training program for improving parent-child relationships was effective in improving multi-cultural mother's parenting efficacy and reducing their parenting stress.
