분산 동영상 부호화 시스템에서는 복호기에서 움직임 보상 보간 기법을 이용하여 부가정보를 생성한다. 생성된 부가정보의 정확성이 Wyner-Ziv 프레임을 복원하기 위한 parity 정보량에 큰 영향을 미치기 때문에 부가정보의 정확한 생성이 분산 동영상 부호화 시스템의 성능에 큰 영향을 미친다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 다양한 부가정보 생성 기법의 성능을 분석하고 효율적인 부가정보 생성 기법을 제안하였다. 또한 생성된 부가정보가 분산 동영상 부호화 시스템의 성능에 미치는 영향을 비교분석 하였다.

디지털 TV가 실용화 됨에 따라 다양한 부가정보 서비스가 가능하게 되었다. 그러나 부가정보서비스를 효과적으로 사용하기 위해서는 전통적인 메뉴검색에 의한 관심객체의 부가정보 검색이 아닌 화면에서의 관심객체 선택만으로 부가정보를 표현할 수 있는 방법이 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 메뉴검색없이 마우스 클릭만으로 관심 객체를 선택하고 선택된 객체에 대해 부가정보를 표현하는 시스템을 제안한다.

The side information in the distributed video coding system is generated using motion compensated interpolation methods. Since the accuracy of the generated side information affects the amount of parity bits for the reconstruction of Wyner-Ziv frame, it is important to produce an accurate side information. In this paper, we analyze the informance of various side information generation methods and propose an effective side information generation technique. Also, we compare each side information generation methods from the hardware point of view and analyze the performance of distributed video coding system using various side information generation methods.

분산 동영상 부호화 시스템에서는 복호기에서 움직임 보상 보간 기법을 이용하여 부가정보를 생성한다. 생성된 부가정보와 원 Wyner-Ziv 프레임간의 차이를 채널 부호로 오류 정정하게 되는데 이때 부호기에서는 복호기에서의 오류 정정을 위하여 패리티 비트인 Wyner-Ziv 비트를 복호기로 보내게 되고 복호기에서는 이 Wyner-Ziv 비트를 이용하여 Wyner-Ziv 프레임을 복원하는데 더 많은 Wyner-Ziv 비트가 필요할 경우 피드백 채널을 통해 Wyner-Ziv 비트를 요청하게 된다. 이때 부호기에서 조건부 엔트로피를 구할 수 있다면 이를 이용하여 Wyner-Ziv 비트 전송량을 제어함으로써 피드백 채널을 제거 할 수 있다. 이를 위해 부호기에서도 부가정보를 알아야하는데 복호기에서 사용하는 부가정보 생성 기법은 복잡도가 높기 때문에 사용할 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 부호기에서 간단한 부가정보를 생성하는 방법을 제안하고 분산 동영상 부호화 시스템에 적용하여 피드백 채널을 제거하였을 때의 성능을 분석하였다.

In this paper, We proposed a Optical Correlation for indoor positioning based LED-ID. The proposed Optical Correlation has a advantage to low-interference between spread code number sequences and LED-ID. it is applied a spread code to reduce the interference with additional information based LED-ID. The additional information is enable to detect in transmitted signal using auto correlation. Also we designed and implemented the Optical Correlation for clearly detecting the additional information. Simulations were performed to confirm the performance of BER and the power of additional information. Optical Correlation simulator to indoor positioning based LED-ID was implemented to prove a usefulness.

A movie information program has a positive effect on the viewer's intention to watch the movie by providing an indirect experience of the movie based on trust. In order to increase the effectiveness of a movie information program, a data service that provides the additional information on the movies introduced in a movie information program has been studied. However, since the study limited the data service to one movie information program, it was difficult to apply it to the actual environment of general cable broadcasting companies or satellite broadcasting companies that transmit multiple movie information programs. Therefore, this study expanded the existing research limited to one movie information program to provide additional information of several movie information programs. This study is meaningful in that it suggests a data service that can be operated in the realistic environment of a broadcaster that actually transmits several movie information programs.

지상파 DMB는 이동 환경에서 QVGA 급의 영상과 스테레오 오디오를 제공하는 방송 서비스로서 2005년 12월부터 본격적으로 서비스되고 있는데, 최근에는 DMB 환경에서 고품질의 영상과 오디오를 제공하려는 기술에 대한 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 지상파 DMB 환경에서 고품질의 영상 또는 오디오를 제공하기 위해서는 기존의 DMB 서비스에 추가적인 데이터들을 전송하는 것이 필요한데, 하나의 지상파 DMB 방송 채널에 할당되는 전송 비트율이 높지 않다는 점을 감안하면, 이러한 추가적인 데이터들을 효율적으로 전송하는 것이 서비스의 상용화 입장에서는 중요한 요소가 될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 지상파 DMB 환경에서 멀티채널 오디오 서비스를 제공하고자 할 때, 추가적으로 전송되어야 하는 부가정보 스트림의 효율적인 전송을 위한 패킷화 방법을 제안한다. 지상파 DMB 환경에서 멀티채널 오디오 서비스를 제공하기 위한 부가정보 스트림은 일반 오디오 스트림과 마찬가지로 프레임 단위로 생성이 되며, 약 12kbps의 비트율을 가진다. 그러나, 부가정보 스트림을 지상파 DMB 환경에서 전송하기 위하여, MPEG-2 TS로 패킷화하여 전송하게 되면, 부가정보 스트림의 비트율보다 훨씬 높은 약 32kbps의 전송율을 가지게 된다. 본 연구에서는 이와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위하여, 멀티채널 오디오 서비스를 위해 필요한 부가정보 스트림의 비트율을 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 하나의 TS 패킷에 하나 이상의 부가정보 프레임을 포함하여 전송하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법의 성능 검증을 위해 제안한 방법에 따라 하나 이상의 부가정보 프레임을 하나의 TS 패킷에 포함하여 패킷화하는 것을 시뮬레이션하고, 그 결과를 제시하였다.

본 논문에서는 사용자가 뉴스나 스포츠 중계 등의 라이브 방송을 제외한 녹화방송 프로그램 및 VoD콘텐츠를 시청하는 중에 화면 상의 상품에 대한 관심이 유발되었을 때, 객체의 좌표정보를 통해 사용자의 입력을 받아 객체의 부가정보를 실시간 검색하고 부가정보 데이터를 생성하는 방법을 통해 사용자에게 해당 객체의 부가 정보를 제공하는 방법을 제안한다.

Because the movie has the characteristics of a cultural product where experience is important, a promotional strategy is used to convert viewers into movie audiences by providing indirect experiences of movies through professional movie information programs. Considering that the movie information program is a strategic publicity medium that raises the audience's intention to watch a movie, a study on the data service that provides useful additional information to the viewer in conjunction with the movie information program is meaningful. Against this background, this study contains the core research contents in the development of data service linked with movie information program. Specifically, additional information of the movie information program was defined. And to provide the additional information to the data service, the digital broadcasting international standard DVB-SI-based additional information transmission method was devised.

현재 온라인 동영상 트래픽은 인터넷 전체 트래픽의 60% 이상을 차지하고 있으며, 앞으로는 더욱 증가될 것으로 전망된다. 그동안 인터넷 상에서 온라인 동영상의 생성과 배포에 관한 생태계가 견고히 구축되었고, 유통되는 동영상의 품질이나 압축기술 등은 그 어느 때보다 급속히 발전되어 왔다. 그에 비해 동영상의 활용에 있어서는 대부분의 이용자가 주로 동영상을 찾고 보고 듣는 데 그치고 있다. 그러나 동영상에는 스토리, 등장인물, 배경이 되는 장소, 의미 있는 사물 등과 같은 부가 정보들이 내포되어 있어 이 정보를 적극 활용하면 동영상의 활용 가치를 높일 수 있다. 본 고에서는 동영상의 활용 가치를 높이는 서비스를 제공하는 수단으로서 동영상에 포함된 부가 정보를 획득하고, 모델링하고, 표현하는 기술들에 관해 고찰한다. 더불어 현재의 온라인 동영상 서비스를 살펴보면서 부가정보를 적극 활용하게 될 미래의 동영상 서비스를 가늠하고자 한다.
