  • 석탄 가스화 복합발전 시스템(IGCC)에서 집진은 가스 터빈의 입자에 의한 마모와 침식으로부터의 보호와 분진 배출의 환경 규제를 만족하기 위한 필수 공정이다. 특히 고온고압에서 집진이 수행되면 시스템의 열효율 향상은 물론 가스정제 시스템을 간단히 함으로써 건설비와 운전비의 절감에도 큰 효과를 거둘 수 있다. 석탄 가스화 공정에서 평균 입경이 2 - 3$\mu\textrm{m}$의 입자가 10g/m이상으로 발생되는 농도를 10mg/m이하로 처리하기 위하여 많은 집진 시스템이 제안되고 있지만 IGCC에 도입하기 위한 집진시스템으로서 세라믹 캔들 필터가 제일 타당하다. 세라믹 캔들 필터로 절데 집진 일경이 5$\mu\textrm{m}$이하이고 전체 집진 효율을 99.6% 이상 수행할 수 있다. 세라믹 필터를 이용한 상용화 개발 현황은 현재 세계적으로 bench급, pilot급, 그리고 상용화급 IGCC공정에 도입되어 그 성능이 검정되고 있으며 본 시스템의 내구성과 안정성이 상용화에 충족한 것으로 판명되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 고온고압용 세라믹 필터 집진시스템을 개발하기 위하여 제작된 bench급 집진 공정 및 세라믹 필터설계의 기술적 문제점을 소개하였다.

  • EFPI (extrinsic Fabry-Perot interferometer) 센서를 이용해 복합재료의 파손 신호를 취득하기 위해서는 파손 신호에 비해 상대적으로 낮은 주파수의 열적, 기계적 정적 변형에 의해 발생하는 위상 변화를 보상해 주는 기술이 필요하다. 또한 센서의 민감도를 최적화하기 위해 출력 신호의 위상을 Quadrature 지점에 유지시켜야 한다. 본 논문에서는 EFPI 센서 시스템의 출력 신호위상을 일정하게 유지시킬 수 있는 안정화 제어 시스템을 개발하였다. 안정화 제어 시스템은 광대역 파장 레이저 광원, 가변 F-P (Fabry-Perot) 필터 그리고 필터를 제어한 수 있는 전자 회로시스템으로 구성하였다. 개발된 시스템의 위상 제어 성능을 평가하기 위해 복합재료 시편의 인장 실험을 수행하여 인장 변형에 의해 발생하는 위상 변화를 개발된 시스템을 이용해 Quadrature 지점에 일정하게 유지할 수 있음을 보였다. 또한 연필심 파손 실험을 통해 개발된 시스템이 파손 신호를 잘 취득할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • Generally, images are corrupted by the impulse or AWGN and there are cases where both of these noises are added at once. When it comes to eliminating the noises added to the image, the previous median filter is effective in removing the impulse noise and the average filter is effective for removing AWGN. However, when the complex noises are added, it lacks the noise suppression characteristics, thus in this paper, a non-linear filter algorithm for removing the complex noises was proposed. The simulation results shows the proposed algorithm has excellent de-noising capabilities of compare existing methods.

  • By using an algorithm derived by a multiple linear regression analysis, a technique for filtering was developed; and by using the developed technique, the results of conducting filtering of the raw data collected via scanning with a terrestrial LiDAR the actual sloped terrain was analyzed. As such, when filtering was applied by dividing the observation areas into two areas with the topographical line as a reference in order to improve the filtering accuracy, it was seen that the filtering accuracy improved by about 8.73% as compared to when filtering was applied without dividing the observation area. In addition, considering the fact that the accuracy improved by 5~7% when the sloped sides of a multicurvature topography were divided and a complex filtering applied as compared to when filtering was applied for the entire area or by regions, it can be asserted that the accuracy was higher when a complex filtering was conducted by dividing the sloped areas where the slope is not constant due to the multi-curvature of topography.

  • As society has developed rapidly toward a highly advanced digital information age, a multimedia communication service for acquisition, transmission and storage of image data as well as voice has being commercialized. However, image data is always corrupted by various noises during image processing, so researches for removing noises have been continued until now. There are diverse types of noise on the image including salt and pepper noise, AWGN, and mixed noise. Hence, the filter algorithm for the image recovery was proposed that salt and pepper noise was processed by linear interpolation, histogram weighted values and median filter after defining the noise to lessen the impact of mixed noise added in the image, and AWGN was processed by the pixel information of local mask establishing the weighted values in this study. In addition, the algorithm was compared with the conventional methods for objectively and used the PSNR(peak signal to noise ratio) as the basis of the determination.

Multitexture Image Segmentation Using Amplitude Demodulation (진폭복조를 이용한 복합텍스쳐영상의 분할)

  • This paper proposes a 2-D texture segmentation algorithm which is in close analogy to amplitude demodulation in communication systems. First, we show that it is theoretically possible to segment a multitexture image using an ideal filter followed by an amplitude demodulation block. However, in practice, the Gabor filter is used instead of the ideal filter because it has many desirable properties and especially it gives optimum space-bandwidth product. Our algorithm recovers all the texture regions containing the sinusoid with frequency to which the Gabor filter is tuned. We have demonstrated the discriminating power of our method in using a synthetic multitexture image. It is clear mathematically and easy to implement. Our method can be a good alternative to avoid many problems encountered in classifying the feature vectors in feature-based texture segmentation approaches.

A Study on Mixed Filter Algorithm for Restoration of Image Corrupted by AWGN (AWGN에 훼손된 영상복원을 위한 복합 필터 알고리즘에 관한 연구)

  • Nowadays, image processing has been applied in a variety of fields. In order to preserve the high quality of visual the degradation phenomenon for images should be removed. Noise is one of the representative elements cause of the degradation phenomenon and AWGN(additive white Gaussian noise) always damages images. In this paper, an mixed filter algorithm, which is based on parallel denoising method, is proposed to suppress AWGN. This algorithm parallels the spatial domain wiener filter and the wavelet domain thresholding method which thresholding function is selected based on scale level. The proposed modified thresholding function which considers the dependency between parent and child coefficient performs well on suppressing noise.

  • For 4th industrial revolution and the development of various communication media, unmanned and automation are rapidly progressing in various fields. In particular, high-level image processing technology is required in fields such as smart factories, autonomous driving technology, and intelligent CCTV. Accordingly, the importance of preprocessing in a system operating based on an image is increasing, and an algorithm for effectively removing noise from an image is attracting attention. In this paper, we propose a filtering algorithm using noise judgment and a segmentation mask in a complex noise environment. The proposed algorithm calculates the final output by switching the segmentation mask suitable for filtering by performing noise judgment on the pixel values of the input image. Simulation was conducted to verify the performance of the proposed algorithm, and the result image was compared and evaluated with the existing filter algorithm.

WFMM Neural Networks Based Skin Color Filter for Face Detection (얼굴패턴 검출 문제에서 WFMM 신경망 기반의 피부색 검출 기법)

  • 본 논문에서는 다중필터와 복합형 신경망으로 구성된 얼굴 검출 시스템과 WFMM 신경망을 이용한 피부색 검출기법을 소개한다. 전처리 단계에 해당하는 다중필터는 대상 영역의 수를 감소 시켜 시스템의 속도를 개선한다. 다중필터에 속한 색상필터는 총 11 가지의 색상 공간에서 피부색의 특징 값을 추출하여 학습 데이터로 사용하며, 이 학습 데이터에 의해 생성된 하이퍼 박스를 통해 피부색을 분류한다. 또한 WFMM 신경망의 연관도 요소 특성을 이용하여 각 색상 공간의 상대적 중요도를 분석하여 피부색 검출에 유용한 색상 공간을 분석하고 추출 한다. 얼굴패턴 검출을 위한 복합형 신경망은 첫 단계에서 가보 변환을 사용하는 CNN 을 통해 특징 지도를 생성하고, WFMM 신경망으로 최종 얼굴패턴을 검증한다.
