Estimation of Transportation Infrastructure Scale for Evaluation of Super-Tall Building Locational Appropriateness: Focusing on Urban Area (초고층건축물 입지적정성평가를 위한 교통기반시설의 규모산정방법에 관한 연구: 도심지역을 기준으로)

  • To accommodate urban concentration of population, multi-purpose super-tall buildings have been introduced, but they induce many travel demands causing regional traffic problems. While several travel demand management policies such as transit promotion or parking limits are presented to alleviate such problems, transportation infrastructure are still insufficient to meet high demands. In this study, super-tall buildings are categorized by scale and purpose, then mode-specific derived demand is estimated using modal share of each category. Optimal transportation infrastructure level is determined by condition-based average changing amount yielded by street network delay (in case of road) or the number of transit routes (in case of transit).

An Analysis of Land Use Changes in Urban Center of Metropolis: The Case of Daegu City (대도시 도심부의 토지이용 변화 분석: 대구광역시를 사례로)

  • This paper examines the recent changes of urban center in metropolis in terms of land use. Jung-Gu, Daegu City is analyzed for a case study, and publicly notified individual land price data of 2000 and 2011 are used as analysis materials. The analyzing results show that a lot of residential land uses diminished in urban center, but residential function is still significant despite such decrease. Commercial land uses also decreased. Office land uses increased, but the increase is insignificant. On the contrary, unused or miscellaneously used land increased considerably. The phenomena implicate that land uses in the urban center are not positive under the influence of inner city decline. Overall, more land use changes occurred in the frame than in the core of urban center. That is, land uses in the core is more stable than them in the frame. However, decreasing commercial land uses in the core is noticeable, comparing to the frame. Mixed land uses for residence and commerce are most deconcentrated and office land uses most concentrated. Mean center point and standard deviation distance of land uses did not change significantly from 2000 to 2011, despite considerable change of land uses. The finding reveals that land use changes are widely occurring in urban center.

Development and Effectiveness of Private Parking Information Algorithm (복합용도 초고층빌딩에 대한 개별주차정보제공 알고리즘 개발)

  • Super high-rise buildings of combined use such as large shopping malls and multiplex etc. have larger parking facilities than general buildings and are characteristic of an increase in the number of the entrance and the exit connecting internal external space of the parking lot. These features cause a congestion of internal traffic by increasing car driving distance in the parking lot, and vehicle idling increases by drivers wander the parking lot in order to find parking space. In addition, they make drivers suffer from lots of difficulties due to parking including increasing their walking line after parking. Therefore, in this study, we developed individual parking information provision algorithm to specify the optimal parking place for drivers according to the purpose of visiting a building and the drivers' moving path, and selected new construction site for the second lotte world in order to evaluate the algorithm developed and performed evaluation. As a result of the evaluation, it was analyzed that in the case of applying the individual parking information provision algorithm compared to the existing parking information provision algorithm, moving distance in the parking lot decreases around 7.43~83.4%, and that in the case of $CO_2$ emission, it decreased about 47.7% on average, which indicates that the efficiency resulted from application of the individual parking information provision algorithm is very high as the application effects are tested.

  • Interest in the exterior design of buildings has increased in recent years. Demand for various architectural structures is increasing. However, domestic form liner and design are still limited. Thus, this research uses 3D printers to omit the existing mold production process. Use digital data to produce products economically using various materials. It can be hoped that extending the lifespan of the concrete structure will reduce the cost of saving costs. The purpose of this study is to utilize the 3D printers to develop the design of a suitable formative shape for the purposes of the concrete. In this study, 3D printed form enables the possibility that the actual application is practical. Consideration for the artistic design of the art line was proposed for the purpose of considering the use of concrete structures for concrete structures.

A Case Study on Urban Regeneration Projects for Declined Industrial Districts in Downtown Area (도심 노후산업지구 도시재생사업 사례연구)

  • It is needed to regenerate declined industrial districts in downtown area through to invite new industry and to improve urban environment. The purpose of this paper was to make suggestions on the urban regeneration for the districts. I have taken a literature research and a site analysis with cases of 'the South Lake Union' in Seattle and 'Pearl District' in Portland, USA. The result of the analysis was as follows: (1) The land use was changed to mixed use of business-commerce-recreation. The building use was changed to facilities for work, play and live. (2) Infrastructures were improved for user oriented facilities such as pedestrian friendly street, public parks & open spaces, public transportation system, and life supporting facilities. (3) The place identity was enhanced through the preservation of urban structure-tissues, renovation of existing buildings, and preservation of historical heritages.

A Study on the Application of IUCN Category to the Protected Areas of Korea (우리나라 보호지역에 IUCN 카테고리 적용 방안에 관한 연구)

  • This study aimed at effectively applying the IUCN category system to the protected areas in Korea. In addition, in order to change IUCN category of national parks to IUCN category II and to review the application of IUCN category classification key, a case study was conducted in Sobaeksan National Park. In order to apply the IUCN category system to the protected areas in Korea, a flexible approach appropriate to characteristics in Korea is required for management objectives of protected areas, including protection of wildemess, sustainable use of resources and preservation of cultural and traditional features. In addition, considerations of restrictions on use area and use districts, relative comparison of use types (visit, use of resources, residence) by IUCN category and use of combined classifications are necessary. Principles for the application of the IUCN category include (1)exclusion of wilderness protected areas (Ib), (2) extremely limited use regarding the sustainable use of natural resources(sum of natural preservation area and natural environment area is over 95%), (3) considerations of management conditions, including residential occupation level, (4) preservation of ecosystem services, and (5) use of combined classifications. In addition, in accordance with these principles, IUCN category classification key was suggested. When this was applied to the case study area, Sobaeksan National Park was classified as IUCN Category II and Taxus cuspidata community, which is designated as a natural monument, was classified to be Category Ia. Classification key suggested in this study may be used as basic data for applying categories in the future. Since detailed review on the practical improvement direction of laws and regulations and systematic alternatives, which are required before introducing IUCN category, are poor, in order to manage the protected areas efficiently by applying the IUCN category in the future, studies on management means appropriate to the conservation objectives of each category are necessary. This would allow management differentiated for each category.

Performance Review and Revitalizing Support Plans for Rural Residence though Current Status Survey (현황조사를 통한 농촌주거의 성능검토 및 재생지원방안)

  • The urban has been improved houses and facilities as accelerating industry and society, while the rural area was inferior to the city. Furthermore, there was not a maintenance in time as ageing, and did not expect to rebuilding of using proper techniques and materials for financial reasons. This study find a way to make a revitalizing plan for appropriate real state. For this, perform a current status survey that 900 rural residences of 36 rural villages in Chungcheong area. As a result, Korean traditional structure is a half in residential type, and has poor residential conditions by comparison with western pattern. The structural type comprises two type that a pure structure and a mixed structure, and Korean traditional structure is a mixed structure more than a pure structure. It is considered continuous changes by a resident due to a pure structure was not satisfy various functions. It need appropriate plan to improve a rural residence for each characteristics.

Characteristics of Non-Point Pollution Discharge of Urban Area According to Land Use (토지이용도에 따른 도시하천의 비점오염원 유출특성)

  • 본 연구는 도시지역의 강우-유출로 인한 비점오염물질의 유출특성 및 배출부하량을 조사하기 위하여 영산강권역의 풍영정천을 대상으로 조사하였다. 대상 유역의 토지이용별 구분은 논지역, 하류공단 및 논$\cdot$산지 복합 토지 이용특성, 공단 지역, 도시 분류식 지역, 소유역 출구지역으로 구분하였다. 시료의 채취는 강우시 4회에 걸쳐 조사하였으며, 매회 시료 채취 주기는 강우유출이 발생하기 전부터 시작하여 첨두유출량이 발생때까지 $1\~2$시간 간격으로 채취한 후 강우 종료 후 유출량 변화가 없을 때까지 $9\~12$단계로 세분하여 유출량과 pH, DO, BOD, COD, SS, T-N, T-P의 농도를 측정 하였다. 토지이용별 비점오염물질의 유량가중평균농도(EMC : Event Mean Concentration)를 살펴보면, BOD의 EMC는 $4.43\~14.22mg/{\ell}$의 분포를 보였으며, 도시 합류식 토지이용 특성을 지닌 P-4지점에서 가장 큰 농도를 보였을 뿐만 아니라 타 토지이용 특성에 비하여 두드러지게 초기 오염물질 유출 현상을 나타내었다. COD의 EMC는 $8.27\~18.81mg/{\ell}$의 분포를 보였으며, BOD 수질농도와 같이 P-4 지점에서 가장 큰 농도를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. SS의 EMC는 $35.76\~358.86mg/{\ell}$의 분포를 보였으며, 소유역의 중간지점이면서 논$\cdot$산지$\cdot$공단지역의 토지이용 특성을 지닌 P-2 지점에서 가장 큰 농도를 나타내었다. 이는 조사기간(Event 1, Event2) 동안 상류의 자연형하천 제방공사로 인한 토사유출로 인하여 다소 높게 나타난 것으로 판단된다. 또한, 대상유역 전반적으로 초기 오염물질 유출 현상을 보였으며, BOD와 COD 수질농도의 분포양상과는 다르게 강우량 및 강우강도에 많은 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. T-N의 EMC는 $1.61\~7.13mg/{\ell}$의 분포를 보였으며, T-P는 $0.03\~0.46mg/{\ell}$의 분포를 갖는 것으로 나타났다.

A Study on the Classification of 500m×500m Mesh Level by the Combinations of Building Needs in Busan for the Feasibility Evaluation of Ocean Energy Plant Introduction (해양에너지 활용지역 선정을 위한 부산시 500m 메시 레벨에서의 건물용도구성에 의한 유형화 연구)

  • On the view point of renewable energies as energy sources of district heating and cooling plant, the purpose of this study is to develop, classify and map the 500m${\times}$500m mesh, of which is treated as normal size in DHC regulations for evaluation process. Followings are the results. Various building and geographical informations including 13 districts and 108 counties are re-defined to create 500m${\times}$500m meshes, and it is find out that 3,289 meshes among 8,463 meshes have meaningful floor areas. Only 59 meshes(1.8%) are evaluated as mesh which has more than 50% of building volume ratio per mesh. 5 clusters classified by principal analysis and cluster analysis with building needs' characteristics are defined. Gwang-an Dong is representative of cluster 1 characterized as commercial area, and the cluster 4, 5 which has mainly residential needs are distributed in Yong-ho dong. Because there are a lot of cluster 3 meshes, which has complex needs area based on residential, cluster 3 could be defined as representative of Busan metropolitan city.

  • 화석연료의 가격 및 공급의 불안정과 온실가스감축 국제 규제 강화 등에 대한 대안으로 여기는 신 재생에너지는 높은 초기 투자 부담으로 인하여 관련기술의 연구개발과 보급정책 등 전과정에 걸친 정책 지원체계가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 지열에너지를 이용하는 지열냉난방기술에 중점을 두고 이에 대한 중장기 정책 포트폴리오 작성을 위한 기술 및 정책적 접근방안을 제시하고자한다. 지열에너지의 가장 큰 특징은 기후 등에 영향을 크게 부하가 변하는 태양광, 풍력 등과 달리 일정한 부하를 유지함으로써 안정적인 에너지공급이 가능하다는 것이다. 또, 품질 측면에서도 화석연료를 이용한 기존의 연료보다 쾌적한 환경을 조성하여 고급에너지로 평가받고 있다. 반면, 설비를 갖추기 위한 천공, 히트펌프 설치 등에 큰 비용이 든다는 단점을 가지고 있다. 현재 히트펌프 제작기술은 국산화를 완료한 상태로 사실상 기술개발에 의한 큰 폭의 원가절감은 기대하기 힘든 상황이다. 하지만, 유사분야인 시스템 에어컨이 표준화 및 대량생산을 통한 시장 보급 확대로 보급단가가 하락한 것을 고려해 볼 때 이를 통한 가격하락은 어느 정도 기대해 볼 수 있을 것으로 생각된다. 에너지 외적인 측면에서 볼 때도 지열에너지의 공급은 상당한 의미를 갖는다. 건물 냉 난방용 이외에 다양한 용도의 개발을 통해 비닐하우스나 온실 등에 지열에너지를 이용할 경우 정부차원에서 농어촌에 대한 지원이 가능하다. 또, 기존의 에너지원을 조달하는데 어려움이 있는 산간, 도서지방에서는 도시지역보다 투자대비 큰 효과를 볼 수 있어 지역간 에너지 불균형 해도에도 도움이 될 수 있다. 이와같은 지열에너지의 특성에 따라 향후 발전방향을 정리해 보았다. 핵심기술인 지열 히트펌프의 산업구조와 시장 보급 확대를 통한 가격하락을 기대한다. 지역개발 및 고립지역에서 타 신 재생에너지와 함께 독립적인 전력, 냉난방 등의 완전 에너지 공급시스템을 갖출 수 있다. 또한 특수 작물 등의 고급 농수산물 생산등의 용도개발을 통해 지열에너지 공급역량을 성장시킬 수 있을 것이다. 이와 함께 중장기 비젼을 제시하기 위해 추진되어야 할 연구과제로는 시장 보급 확대에 따른 가격경쟁력 도달 가능성에 대한 연구를 통해 산업육성 방안 마련, 타 신 재생에너지기술과 복합 설치에 의한 시너지 효과 및 이에따른 초기 투자비 증가에 대한 대책, 보급 잠재량 조사, 지열시스템의 자금 조달 및 관련 정책 검토 등이 있을 수 있다.
