Concrete scaling is the progressive surface deterioration of susceptible subjected to freeze-thaw cycling in the presence of moisture. Particularly, it has been recognized that chlorides present in deicing agents can significantly increase concrete surface scaling. Domestic area of most be happened chloride deicer damage. Because daily mean temperature is below 0$^{\circ}C$ from the area of domestic most. Use of deicing chemicals has been and will continue to be a major part of highway snow and ice control methods. Chloride-containing chemicals such as calcium chloride or rock salt are main deicers for the road. Extensive use of chloride deicers is, however, not only the source of substantial cost penalties due to their corrosive action and ability to deterioration roadway surface materials but also the source of environmental damages. In this study, Use of (40, 27, 21MPa) pavement concrete analyze freeze-thaw test and scaling on the chlorides present.

In the process of obtaining and transmitting image, there is degradation of image due to various noise, and there have been many active studies ongoing to remove the noise added on the images. This thesis has proposed a switching filter processing by the types of noise in order to remove the complex noise added on images. When the center value of local mask is damaged by AWGN based on the noise judgment, the threshold value is applied on standard deviation of local mask to process by applying different weight of weighted mask, and if the image is damaged by the salt and pepper noise, the local mask is subdivided into 4 directions, and processed by applying cubic spine interpolation in the direction with the least slat and pepper noise. Also, in order to evaluate the performance of proposed filter algorithm, the study conducted comparison among the existing methods and proposed filter using PSNR.
The results of an experimental study on the development and the evaluation of lightweight
and high strength composites utilizing by-products and calcium silicates for construction materials
are presented in this paper. The composites using early strength portland cement, by-Products(
f1y ash, silica fume), silica powder, quick lime, gypsum, A1 powder and fibers(PAN-derived
CF, alkali-resistance GF) were prepared using various mixing conditions.
As the test results show, PAN-derived CF and alkali-resistance GF were suitable for rein-forcing
fiber of the composites. And the mechanical properties, such as compressive tensile flexural
strength, and toughness of Lt. Wt. fiber reinforced calcium silicates cement comp-osites were
improved by increasing the fly ash and silica fume contents, and fiber contents, especially by increasing
fiber contents the toughness of the composites were remarkably in-creased. Also, compressive
tensile flexural strength, and toughness of the composites rein-forcing PAN-derived CF
were higher than those of the composites reinforcing alkali-resistance GF..
For the recycling of rapid-cooled steel slag, various specimens were prepared with the various replacement ratios of the rapid-cooled steel slag and the addition ratios of polymer binders. The physical properties of these specimens were then investigated by absorption test, compressive strength test, flexural strength test and hot water resistance test, and the pore and the micro-structure analysis was performed using scanning electron microscope. Results showed that the flexural strength increased with the increase of rapid-cooled steel slag and polymer binder, but the compressive strength showed a maximum strength at a certain proportion. By the hot water resistance test, compressive strength and flexural strength decreased remarkably and the total pore volume increased but the pore diameter decreased. SEM observation of the structure before the hot water resistance test revealed a very compact infusion of structure but the decomposition or thermal degradation appeared in polymer binders when observed after the hot water resistance test.
Paper relics are affected by a number of complex physical, chemical, biological and artificial damaging factors due to the vulnerability of organic materials. Wet cleaning is a conservation treatment method for removing pollutants from paper artefacts. This study was carried out in order to analyse the effect of wet cleaning on Hanji (Traditional Korean paper made from mulberry trees) which is the main material used in Korean paper relics (historical paper documents). For this study, the color change and folding endurance of artificially degraded paper was analysed before and after immersion wet cleaning. The result showed that washing each twice in 30 minutes is the most appropriate method for obtaining cleaning efficiency and material stability.

For aerospace propulsion systems, Titanium Hydride Potassium Perchlorate (THPP) is a material commonly used as a pyrotechnic initiator that generates gas when energy is supplied or as a supplement charge for NASA standard initiator (NSI). However, when the energetic materials are stored for a long time, it faces the problem of 'aging'. In this study, changes in thermodynamic properties of THPP aged under various humidity environments were identified through thermal analysis and surface analysis. First, a considerable amount of cracks on the surface of the oxidant was found in the aged THPPs. Particularly, when the humidity level increased, the number and length of the cracks rapidly increased. Also, the deterioration of Viton was found only in the thermally aged sample whereas the oxidation of the fuel was more pronounced in the hygrothermally aged samples. The extracted kinetic parameters of THPP on the reaction progress vary greatly by the humidity level, indicating that moisture significantly changes the performance and combustion reaction of THPP, which may eventually result in a reduced lifespan.

The restricted network or the unbalanced distribution of spectrum is causing the problems of lack of spectrum resources and deterioration of the service quality. In addition, the existing centralized radio sharing method has not been a fundamental solution for radio sharing and is inefficient in terms of cost, convenience, and security. In this paper, we propose a blockchain-based spectrum sharing as a low-cost, trustworthy, high-efficiency platform that can distribute and share spectrum resources, and propose policies to realize this. In the spectrum sharing platform, spectrum information about Wi-Fi AP and LTE mobile hotspot is registered in the blockchain, and spectrum sharers and users can conclude peer-to-peer spectrum sharing contract quickly and efficiently through smart contract. The pay for the shared spectrum resources and reward for spectrum quality management open platform ecosystem to activate the circulation-sharing and it can provide a convenient and efficient public wireless infrastructure.
Recently, data production has seen explosive growth, and the storage systems to store these big data safely and quickly is evolving in various ways. A typical configuration of storage systems is the use of SSDs with fast data processing speed as a RAID group that can maintain reliable data. However, since NAND flash memory, which composes SSD, has the feature that deterioration if writes more than a certain number of times are repeated, can increase the likelihood of simultaneous failure on multiple SSDs in a RAID group. And this can result in serious reliability problems that data cannot be recovered. Thus, in order to solve this problem, we propose a method of throttling IOs so that each SSD within a RAID group leads to a different life-end. The technique proposed in this paper utilizes SMART to control the state of each SSD and the number of IOs allocated according to the data pattern used step by step. In addition, this method has the advantage of preventing large amounts of concurrency defects in RAID because it induces differential lifetime finishes of SSDs.
In this study, for a radiator hose made of carbon black filled EPDM(ethylene-propylene diene monomer) rubber, a measuring method of crosslink density was established to analyze the aging behaviors under thermo-oxidative stresses. At $125^{\circ}C$, the crosslink density of the rubber specimens decreased slightly in the initial stage, but increased with increasing the aging time. Such variation in crosslink density was similar to that of tensile strength. This might be due to the formation of sulphoxide crosslinks as well as to additional crosslinks made by the reaction of unvalcunized sulfurs. A high temperature aging of rubber specimens at $180^{\circ}C$ caused a slight increase in crosslink density while it did a large decrease in tensile strength and elongation. With aging at high temperature, the formation of carbonyl groups in EPDM molecule chain and formation of sulphoxide crosslink, rather than the crosslink density variation itself, had a large influence on such changes in mechanical property.
Durability problems may arise in the concrete, which is one of the major construction materials, used in the construction field. Bridge piers and foundation piles are usually made with concrete and they are exposed to the moisture and hence the durability of the concrete reduced significantly due to oxidization of re-bar and icing of concrete. To mitigate such problems, FRP tube has been developed and the concrete filled FRP tube (CFFT) has been investigated to find the confinement effect which is provided additionally. It was reported that if the concrete is wrapped with FRP, strength and chemical resistance are improved significantly. In order to apply such a member in the construction field, structural behavior and applicable design guideline or design criteria must be thoroughly investigated. In the experimental investigation, the results are compared with the previous research results and the relationship which can predict the ultimate strength and strain is suggested. In addition, some comments found at the compression tests are given briefly.
