The purpose of this study is to examine the Korean social workers' level of social work values and advocacy(attitudes and strategies) and to verify the relations among social work education, social work advocacy and social work values by examining whether social work education influences social work advocacy and social work values, and whether social work values affect social work advocacy. Further, this study wishes to confirm not only the direct effect that social work education has on social work advocacy, but also how social work education indirectly influences social work advocacy through social work values as a mediator. The research of this study was conducted on 242 social workers who have obtained social worker licenses and are currently working in the community centers. As survey tools, this study utilized social work advocacy attitudes, social work advocacy strategies, outcomes of social work education, social work values, self-esteem and locus of control. Collected data were analyzed by using SPSS/PC+ 12.0 for descriptive analysis, Pearson's correlation, reliability analysis, exploratory factor analysis and multiple regression. The research hypothesis was established according to the analysis method of the testing mediation of Baron & Kenny (1986) in order to examine whether social work values intervene between social work education and social work advocacy. The results of the hypothesis test confirm that social work values on the social level serve as a mediator variable.

The purpose of this study was to develop a curriculum for international social workers. Due to the changed circumstances of social welfare agencies, the demand for international social welfare and the need for suitable training for social welfare education agencies has increased. This study explored the job competency of international social welfare and suggested a competency-based curriculum for international social welfare. Researchers analyzed the social welfare NCS, social welfare curriculum and job of international development cooperation agencies and presented a combined curriculum for international development cooperation and social welfare. The findings are as follows: the core subjects of international social welfare are "Human Rights and Social Welfare", "International Social Welfare", NGOs and International Development Cooperation", "the North Korea Development Project", "International Development Cooperation and ODA", "PCM (Project Cycle Management)", "Evaluation and Monitoring", "Seminars in International Social Welfare", "International Social Welfare Practicum", "International Social Welfare Internship", "Community Welfare and Practice", "Program Planning and Evaluation for Social Welfare", "Social Welfare Ethics and Philosophy", "Skills and Techniques for Social Work Practice", "Multicultural Social Welfare", "Poverty and Social Welfare", "Social Enterprise and the Third Sector", "Social Problems", etc.

국내 축산업은 구제역, AI 등 법정전염병 발생은 물론 각종 호흡기성 및 세균성 질병이 끊임없이 발생해 농가피해가 심하고 식품의 안전성을 위협받고 있다. 또 다자간 FTA 체결로 값싼 외국산 축산물 수입량이 증가함에 따라 내 우외환의 홍역을 앓고 있는 실정이다. 축산업이 국내외적으로 어려운 시기에 경쟁력을 강화하기 위해서는 생산성 향상을 통한 생산비 절감과 함께 사육환경을 개선해 안전한 식품을 공급하는 동물복지형 친환경축산이 그 대안으로 평가 받고 있다. 이러한 시대적 요청을 선도하기 위해 동물복지형 친환경축산 발전에 기여하는 천연물 및 유익 미생물을 통해 질병, 환경 및 사료를 효과적으로 관리하여 농가소득 증대를 꾀하고, 나아가 축산 경쟁력 제고에 기여할 수 있는 친환경 제품의 개발에 박차를 기하는 업체를 방문하였다.

날로 각박해져가는 사회분위기 속에서 가장 외로움을 많이 느끼는 사람들은 역시 불우한 환경에 처한 사람들, 특히 사회복지시설에 수용되어 있는 사람들일 것이다. 이들에게는 산다는 것, 생활한다는 것 자체가 커다란 짐일 수 밖에 없다. 이런 상황 속에서, 인간에게 가장 중요하다고 할 수 있는 "건강문제"는 부차적인 것으로 밀려나게 마련이다. 이처럼, 어려운 시대를 함께 살고있는 불우한 이웃을 위해 한국건강관리협회 대구지부가 사회복지시설 수용자의 건강관리를 위한 무료검진을 실시해 눈길을 모은다. 지난 7월말부터 8월초까지 실시된 무료순회검진을 통해 1천여명의 대구시내시설 아동ㆍ노인들이 검사를 받았고, 대구지부는 앞으로도 이같은 사회복지사업을 계속 펴나갈 계획이라고 밝혔다.

This considers to the patient's space in hospital from the Consciousness and Stay Features of Patients. It is not appropriate for a public space to explain many space and places in hospital for the patient, and that is the patient' space. In a thesis considered to the characteristics of environmental behavior and an attribute of the patient's space.

The purpose of this study is to examine how working environments and psychological empowerment of the employed people with mental illness influencing their job satisfaction. This research was conducted with 326 the employed people with mental illness working for the competitive employment. The result of study appeared their job satisfaction was estimated in order of psychological empowerment, supervisor's support, participative climate, and compensation system. This research has its meaning in that it dealt with psychological work environments taking into consideration characteristics of the people with mental illness for the first time. And this research was significant in demonstrating that the concept of psychological empowerment is the most important notion to explain job satisfaction of the people with mental illness as well as general workers.

최근 빅 데이터 및 분석기술을 이용한 분야가 다양화되고 있다. 하지만 정작 사회복지분야로의 적용은 매우 미약한 것이 현실이다. 사회복지분야에서의 빅 데이터를 이용한 각종 개인화 복지 서비스의 제공은 경제적인 부분뿐만 아니라 서비스를 제공하는 기관이나 서비스를 제공받는 이들에게 모두 상호 유기적인 관계를 유지할 수 있다. 특히 사회 조직으로부터 은퇴하거나 떨어져서 개인적인 삶을 영위해야 하는 노인들에게 있어 그들의 라이프 로그와 같은 빅 데이터를 분석하여 복합적이며 융합적인 복지서비스를 제공하는 기법은 매우 효율적이라 할 수 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 노인들의 빅 데이터를 이용한 시간의 흐름별 옴니 복지서비스를 제공하도록 그들의 환경을 분석하는 시스템을 제안한다.

This paper investigates how family-friendly the working environments of Korean community welfare centers are and analyze work-life balance of married female social workers. We conducted a mix-method exploiting survey and interviews in community welfare centers in four provinces (Seoul, Kyonggi, Kangwon and Kyongsang). 82 participants were involved in the survey and 10 in the in-depth interview. According to our analysis, the take up rate of maternity leave was comparatively high while flexible working hours and parental leave were substantially low. Working atmosphere of the center, difficulties in hiring replacements and peer pressure were found to be related to the low take up rates. Also the working hours and concentration of work in certain periods negatively effected work-life balance satisfaction. Lastly, we found a high need for welfare service related to child care provided by community welfare centers where participants-female social workers- worked at.

Objective: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) is characterized by persistent airflow limitations associated with chronic inflammatory response due to noxious particles or gases in the lung. Iron deficiency is associated with chronic inflammation, such as COPD. The aim of this study was to evaluate the relationship among iron deficiency, iron homeostasis, and inflammation in retired miners with COPD. Methods: The serum levels of ferritin, soluble transferrin receptor(sTfR), and transferrin saturation(TSat) as biomarkers for iron deficiency and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hsCRP) as a biomarker for inflammation and hepcidin as a biomarker for iron homeostasis were measured in 93 male subjects. Iron deficiency was defined as any one or more of (1) sTfR>28.1 nmol/L, (2) TSat<16%, and (3) ferritin< $12{\mu}g/L$. Results: Iron deficiency was found 28% of the study subjects. Median levels of serum hsCRP was significantly increased related to airflow limitation of COPD(GOLD 1, $0.09{\mu}g/dL$ vs. GOLD 2, $0.17{\mu}g/dL$ vs. GOLD $3{\leq}$, $0.30{\mu}g/dL$, p=0.010), and was positively correlated with hepcidin(p=0.009). Mean level of serum hepcidin was lower in COPD subjects with iron deficiency(p=0.004) and serum levels of hepcidin was negatively correlated with %$FEV_1$ predicted(p=0.030). Conclusions: These results suggest that high serum levels of hepcidin are related to severe airflow limitation or inflammation and can decrease iron availability, regardless of iron status.

The paper aims to improve the quality and validity of community plan using the content analysis on gyeongju-si. To achieve it, the relevant literatures reviewed, and established the basic framework and three criteria of community plan, then adapted these criteria to the gyeongju-si community plan. Findings are like: Firstly, the measurement criteria of validity are clarified into three; vertical consistency on the whole plan's hierarchical structure, horizontal relevancy between the section plans, clearness of statement. Secondly, generally, gyeongju si plan didn't satisfy the criteria of validity. Based on these results, it specifically offers a impoverishment strategy including the guidelines' upgrading.
