Differences in Obedience to Authority between Authoritarians and Non-authoritarians: in Three Authority-level Situations (권위주의적인 사람은 항상 권위에 복종적일까?: 권위주의 성격에 따른 권위관계 상황별 복종의 차이)

  • Existing studies show that authoritarians are obedient to the powerful even though they are coercive to the weak. However, the personal relationships are very diverse even in the range of the authority relations. The purpose of this study is to explain the differences in the obedience to authority between authoritarians and non-authoritarians in some situations which have different authority-levels. This study presumed that obedience to authority is affected by their own authoritarianism. For this study, four scenarios were used to provide subjects with the situations that are different in the strength of authority. And the results demonstrated that people behave differently according to the level of authority. The result showed that in the low-authority situation authoritarians tend to obey less to the authorities than non-authoritarians. This result is different from existing ones. It follows from what has been said that the loss of authority in Korea partially comes from the double standard of the authoritarians according to the strength of authority.

  • 의식주 중에서 자신을 표현하고 외부와의 교류를 할 수 있는 분야는 패션분야로서 인간 생활과 밀접한 관계를 가지고 있으며 사람들의 개인화된 성향 변화 및 인터넷 환경의 개선으로 트렌드는 빠르게 변화하고 있다. 인공지능 기술의 발전은 단순히 객체의 검출 및 분류에서 벗어나 패션 아이템의 분석 및 세부적인 속성을 분석할 수 있는 수준에 다다랐으며 인공지능 기술을 활용하여 사용자에게 추천할 수 있는 서비스가 출시되고 있다. 패션 트렌드의 빠른 변화 및 인공지능 기술의 발전으로 이를 활용한 플랫폼에 기반을 두어 디자이너에게는 디자인 기술을 향상시킬 수 있으며 사용자에게는 개인화된 제품을 구매할 수 있는 플랫폼 개발이 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 인공지능 기술 기반 패션 분석 기술 개발을 위하여 패션 검출 모듈, 패션 검색 모듈, 패션 검색을 위한 벡터 검색 모듈, 상하의 분리를 위한 세그먼테이션 모듈, 패션 복종 분류 모듈을 개발하여 통합하였으며 패션 검색 정확도는 Top-5 기준 75.28%, 벡터 검색 속도는 벡터당 0.002m sec 이하, 세그먼테이션 추출 정확도 87.6%이상, 패션 검출 결과 IoU 0.5 환경에서 96.2%, 복종분석 90.54%의 성능을 보였다.

The Perceived Importance Weight of Product Information Cues in E-Shopping (온라인 쇼핑에서 소지자가 지각하는 제품 정보 중요성의 비중)

  • Consumer may perceive needs of certain product information online rather than the number of pieces of information available for decision making. In addition, consumers may seek information that is more relevant to apparel category. Moreover, involved consumers intensify information seeking and seek certain information. The purpose of this study is to identify the perceived importance weight of each information cue when shopping apparel via the Internet, to investigate the differences of the perceived importance weight of product information cues in product category, and to examine the relationship between apparel involvement and the perceived importance weight of product information cues. This study employed a single-factor within-subjects design experiment that simulated online purchase situation for two product types, Jeans and a Shirt. A total of 125 college students participated in this study. Results indicated that selected information such size available, price, style, color description, item measurement, stock available, and item quality (in sequence) can be considered as global cues to judge product quality and influence purchase decision regardless of product category. The significant multivariate effects for product category on the perceived importance weight of product information cues were found. Personalization, fiber content, and fabric structure were product specific information cues. Consumers' product involvement significantly influenced the perception of information weight. Therefore, product information can be personalized based on consumer involvement

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of positive psychological, emotional intelligence, and cultural orientation on conflict management in college students majoring in applied music. The research hypotheses were verified by correlation analysis and multivariate regression analysis. A questionnaire survey was conducted on 283 college students majoring in applied music. The findings are as follows. First, respondents with more positive psychological capital have chosen to use integration and compromise in conflict managements. In particular, self-efficacy has been found to have the greatest influence on integration and compromising, optimism on avoiding and obeying, and hope on dominating. Second, respondents with more emotional intelligence have chosen to use more integration and compromising, however they have chosen to use less avoiding and obeying in conflict managements. Particularly, others'emotional appraisal has been found to have the greatest influence on integration, obeying and compromising, self-emotional appraisal on avoiding, and regulation of emotion on dominating. Third, respondents with horizontal/vertical collectivism and horizontal individualism have intended to use integration and compromising in conflict managements, additionally horizontal individualism of cultural orientation has been found to have the greatest influence on integration and compromising, horizontal collectivism on obeying, vertical individualism on dominating, vertical collectivism avoiding.

  • As industrial development standardizes the quality of products, people are increasingly attracted by a certain brand with intangible value. Consumers, surrounded by a variety of brand in a market, want to have relationships with specific brands reflected by their personality. Especially in fashion, brand personality is more important since products are highly involved in terms of personal emotion. The purpose of the study is to identify the dimension of overall fashion brand personality, to specify the 'Dimension of Fashion Brand Personality' according to fashion product categories (i.e., formal wear, casual wear, sports wear), and to investigate the effect of each dimension of fashion brand personality on brand preference and purchase intention. The results were as follows: Firstly, based on Aaker(1997)'s 'Big five factors' and selection fashion brand personality factors from our pretest, the fashion brand personality factors were verified as 'Fashionable/ Innovative', 'Sincere', 'Universal! Stable', 'Professional'. Secondly, according to fashion product categories, brand personality was defined as below. Brand personality for formal wear included 'Innovative/ Active', 'Stable', 'Professional', and 'Universal'. Brand personality for casual wear included 'Fashionable/ Innovative', 'Active', 'Sincere', and 'Stable'. Brand personality for sports wear included 'Innovative', 'Social', 'and 'Sincere'. Finally, overall fashion brand personality factors (' Sincere', 'Universal! Stable', 'Professional') influenced on brand preference and purchase intention. In formal wear, 'Professional' influenced on brand preference and purchase intention. In casual wear, 'Active' influenced on brand preference, but 'Fashionable' and 'Sincere' influenced on purchase intention. In sports wear, 'Sincere' influenced on brand preference and 'Innovative' influenced on purchase intention.

  • 한국과 일본에서 채집한 Bithynia manchourica, B. misella and kiusiuensis등 3종의 Bithyniidae 과 패류의 allozyme 을 분석한 결과 B. manchourica 가 다른 2종에 비해 유전적 거리가 멀었고(0.246)B. misella와 B. kiusiuensis에서는 유전적 거리가 0.217로 나타났다. 아울러 이들 3종의 GPI주행양상은 채집지에 따른 변이가 심하지 않았고 각 종에 따른 특이한 allele을 가지고 있었다.

A Study on the Characteristics Improvement of Chebyshev Filter Function (Chebyshev 필터 함수의 특성 개선에 관한 연구)

  • A modified Chebyshev lowpass filter function with progressively diminishing ripples in the passband is proposed and analyzed in the frequency domain. Owing to the diminishing ripples, the passband magnitude characteristic of the proposed Chebyshev function has improved compared to the classical Chebyshev function. In addition, the phase characteristics of the proposed Chebyshev function were improved considerably compared to that of the Chebyshev function, and the time delay of the proposed function was much simpler and flatter. In addition, the proposed Chebyshev filter was realizable by the passive doubly terminated ladder network delivering maximum power transfer for the order n, even or odd, thus making themselves amenable to low-sensitivity active RC or switched capacitor filters through the simulation techniques. To verify the proposed Chebyshev filter characteristics, a 6th order passive doubly terminated ladder lowpass filter was designed and analyzed using the MATLAB and SPICE program. Thus, the proposed Chebyshev function can remove the drawbacks of the classical Chebyshev function and could be applicable to the design of a filter with an improved filter size, phase, and time delay characteristics for various signal processing.
