The purpose of this study is to investigate the clothing interest, the preference for clothing color, in men of their 20s and 30's. The data were obtained from questionnaires completed by 546 men in their 20's and 30s. The SPSS package was used for data analysis which includs factor analysis, t-test, x²-test, Scheffe test, and Cronbach's α to measure the reliability. This study shows the following results. 1. The interest for clothing color was related to individual factors. (age, marriage status, personality). 2. men in their 20's and 30's preferred neutral color, blue, yellow. 3. Men in their 20s and 30s liked monochromatic match in clothing color. 4. The preference for clothing color were appeared to be influenced by the age, personality, skin color.

The purpose of this study is according to four Seasonal Color system, the researcher analyzed the Korean Personal color and investigated abstract color preferences and the fashion color preferences to support the Korean color preferences and the rotor recognition trend. The study was conducted according to the following procedures: 144 women from 20s to 50s were selected as participants of the survey and the interview. The fashion color preferences and the personal body color was analyzed by the questionnaire and the interview. The data were analyzed by SPSS 12.0 program. As a way of analysis, crosstabs analysis, correlation analysis, t-test, ANOVA and regression analysis were used. As a results, in the Personal color type of Korean women, it is distributed in the order of spring, summer, winter and autumn. In addition, Light image is highly distributed in the Personal color image. People preferred summer color group in the general color preference and the cosmetic color preference and they preferred winter color type in the clothes color and the suitable color for themselves. In the color recognition, as the color interest increases, the coincidence between suitable color and favorite color increased. The recognition of suitable color, the consideration of color in purchasing and the interest of outward appearances were highly showed.

The purpose of this study was to analyse the previous color studies. A number of publications and journals were reviewed and analyzed carefully. The results of review and analysis were as follows : There were many different subjects in color studies and they were usually categorized into ten fundamental groups : color preferences, color image/symbol/association of ideas, emotion and colors, image making with colors, colors related with consumers' decision making, traditional colors, semantic color description, color plan of apparel merchandise, influential factors on colors, and color coordination preferences. In general, the color preference studies are conducted most actively, and they are followed by the studies of color image/symbol/association of ideas and traditional colors. In the previous studies on the color preferences, they provided sufficient amount of information on the preferred colors and the preferred apparel colors. however, they lacked in providing appropriate explanation on how these color preferences were related with colors in fashion. Also, there have been no thorough studies that questioned the reliability of measurement methods for obtaining color preference data. The authors also realized that it was extremely difficult to find any related publications on the studies that focus various influential variables on the disagreement between the preferred color and preferred apparel color. Thus, this study directed the future studies to solve the problem discussed above.

The purpose of this study is to come up with ways that cooperate between on-line game design and fashion design by analyzing trend color and on-line game character's costume color in on-line game. As for the research methodology, First, on-line games were selected with reference to www.ranky.com. Second, 2009 SS trend color palettes suggested by Copenhagen International Fashion Fair was used as a criterion of fashion trend. Third, on-line game character's costume colors were analyzed in relation to the degree of reflection of trend and the game character's type. The results are as follows. Each on-line game character costume's colors were made in accordance with typical character types. But we can find a one-to-one correspondence between fashion trend colors and game character costume's colors. That's because both trends and character types are the results of the continuing interactions between human-beings and societies. In comparison with fashion trend colors, game character costume colors are partly raw and inharmonious. Therefore, it is necessary to apply fashion trend color in game character costume design for enhancing competitiveness in the world market.

This study aims to develop an fashion color design system based on personal color and sensorial images. This web-based system has a parallel structure which a user can search her own personal color, sensorial, and fashion images. The fashion image was presented according to the type of personal color image and sensorial image: futuristic fashion image from alluring image on all of personal color images; elegant fashion images from calm with pure/splendid images or faint/calm with alluring images; modern fashion image from pure/calm with alluring images or faint with lively images; plain fashion image from plain images with all personal color images but pure image; romantic fashion image from calm image with all personal color images but calm image. Fashion color and color combination palettes based on personal color images were presented with the each of those fashion images.

The objective of this research is to examine the commonness and differences of Korean, Chinese and Japanese costume colors of modern and present ages. The result of this study showed that modern China and Japan had quick influx speed of Western culture. Dissimilarly, modern Korea kept conception of colors from Chosun periods that show the high frequency of 'Five Elements Colors' and neutral colors in Red, Yellow and Purple Blue. Today, the costumes of China, Korea and Japan use similar tones of color but each country approached in different selections of achromatic colors; Korean prefers color in Yellow Red, Purple, and Chinese in Green Yellow, Green and Japanese in Purple Blue. Light greyish and pale toned Yellow Red and grayish tone have increased in modern Chinese and Japanese costumes. Also both countries have corresponding assumptions in using color of Red in strong tone. The analysis of color and tone distribution showed that, Japanese costume colors in modern and present times have correlative number of use as in Western culture. Traditionally, Japan has least notion of using 'Five Elements Colors' which only gives minor changes by convergence of Western color culture. In other side, China had developed in color rather than tone compares to Korea and Japan by using many of the Red color of strong, vivid and deep tones which made red distinguishing color of China. Japan continues to use of low chroma colors and became a characteristic in modern and present day, also they use an abundance of color in Yellow Red, purple Blue. Korea has a higher frequency showing in light, bright tones of color distinctively compares to China and Japan.
