A Space Division Multiple Access Technique for Downlink MIMO Systems (하향링크 MIMO 시스템을 위한 공간분할 다중접속 기술)

  • The next generation cellular radio systems require high data rate transmission and large system capacity In order to meet these requirements, multiple antennas can be used at the base and mobile stations, forming MIMO(multiple-input, multiple-output) channels This paper considers a downlink MIMO system assuming a large number of base station antennas, a small number of mobile station antennas, and rich-scattering, quasi-stationary, and flat-fading channel environments When the channel state information is given at the base station in a single user system, a MIMO technique with SVD(singular value decomposition) and water-filling can achieve the maximal downlink channel capacity. In multi-user environments, however, SDMA(space division multiple acces) technique can be used to further increase the total channel capacity supported by the base station This paper proposes a MIMO SDMA technique which can transmit parallel data streams to each of multiple users. The proposed method. can achieve higher total channel capacity than SVD-based MIMO techniques or conventional SDMA using smart antennas.

An Effective Backtracking Search Algorithm for the P2P Resources (효과적인 역 추적 P2P 자원 검색 알고리즘)

  • The P2P distributed systems are proceeded various studies lively to use the idleness computing resources under the network connected computing environments. It's a general mean to communication from the peer of the shortest downloaded time among same target files to be searched. The P2P search algorithms are very important primary factor to decide a real downloaded time in the criteria to select the peer of a shortest downloaded time. However the peer to give resources could be changed into offline status because the P2P distributed systems have very weakness connection. In these cases. we have a choice to retransmit resources mainly. In this study, we suggested an effective backtracking search algorithm to improve the performance about the request to retransmit the resource.

  • In As the proliferation of wireless LAN and smart devices like smart phone, the importance of the wireless Internet local broadcasting service is increasing. In order to provide broadcasting data for the multiple devices, one-way roadcasting technology which could not support re-transmission, should be used and the receiving frame error is major problem. Furthermore unlicense devices cause interference to the receiver, burst frame error tends to be happened. In this paper, new method to overcome the burst and random frame error is proposed and the effect is analyzed.

  • In this paper, we consider the problem of packet transmission in a wavelength division multiplexed(WDM) optical network. Our network model assumes that receivers are fixed-tuned and transmitters are tunable such that optical lasers assigned to transmitters have limited access to the network bandwidth: hence each node must be equipped with multiple optical lasers and/or multiple optical filters in order to maintain a single-hop network. We first analyze scheduling all-to-all packet transmissions and present optimum scheduling for all-to-all packet transmissions. We then extend the analysis to the case of arbitrary traffic demands. We show that the scheduling with arbitrary traffic demand is NP-hard. A heuristic algorithm based on list scheduling is presented. The upper bound so obtained is compared with the lower bound and provides performance guarantees with arbitrary demands. The result are applicable to arbitrary tuning delay, arbitrary number of wavelength channels and optical lasers of arbitrary tuning ranges.

  • 현재의 무선 센서네트워크는 다중 목적지 그룹에 동일한 interest를 전파함에 있어서 목적지 그룹별로 개별적인 interest 전송 경로를 사용한다. 이러한 데이터 전송기법은 동일한 정보를 여러 번에 걸쳐 전송함으로써 네트워크에 불필요한 트래픽을 증가시키고, 에너지 자원이 빈약한 센서네트워크의 네트워크 생명을 감소시키는 원인이 된다. 범용 센서네트워크에서 동일한 interest를 네트워크상의 다중 목적지에 전송하는 경우 공유경로의 사용을 통하여 네트워크 트래픽을 감소시킬 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 센서노드의 위치 정보를 기반으로 싱크노드로부터 복수개의 목적지 그룹까지 데이터를 전송함에 있어서 공유경로를 사용하여 데이터의 전송 경로를 최적화하는 기법을 제안한다. 제안 방우의 성능번상은 시걸친이해에 의해 불증하필으요, 에러 경로 최대 30%까지 감소하필다.

  • 최근 첨단 과학응용분야에서는 대용량의 데이터를 효과적으로 공유 및 전송하기 위해 전용의 연구망과 데이터 전송 노드(DTN)를 활용하여 전송 효율을 높이기 위한 연구들이 활발히 수행되고 있다. 특히, DTN 클러스터링은 복수 개의 전송 노드들을 이용하여 병행성을 높여 전송 효율을 극대화시키는 기법으로 고성능컴퓨팅 환경에서 적용되고 있다. 이와 관련하여, 본 논문에서는 초기 실험적 연구로 NFS 외부 스토리지를 연계한 DTN 클러스터링 환경을 구축하고, WAN 구간에서 종단간 대용량 데이터 전송 실험을 수행한다. 실험 결과, 파일의 크기 및 개수 등이 서로 다른 비교 군들을 대상으로 단일 DTN 대비 DTN 클러스터링에 대한 효과를 확인할 수 있었다.

  • In this study, We show that multiple UAVs (Unmaned Air Vehicle) have datalink system which includes the IEEE 802.11b technology. we are predicting and calculating to the number of the UAV and data rate between UAV and ground control system, using the IEEE 802.11 standards which include the transmit/receive the delay time and theoretical maximum throughput (TMT).

  • Recently, as the roles and utilization fields of UAV become more diverse, demand for high - level mission has been increasing. To solve this issue, researches on the operation of multiple small UAVs and related systems have been actively carried out. The multiple small UAVs based application system has a problem that the task complexity of control personnel increases because the control personnel must continuously control and manage several small UAVs. Hence, it is necessary to develop a software platform that can perform efficient control in order to employ a multiple small UAVs based application system successfully. In this paper, we propose an effective ground control software platform for application systems using multiple small UAVs. We first analyze the requirements for the software platform, and design and implement software based on the analysis. Simulation using the X-plane flight simulator shows that multiple flight data are effectively displayed and that the image data transmitted from many small UAVs are simultaneously displayed in real time.

  • In this paper, a simple but fast and reliable technique for the complex dielectric constant measurement of non-magnetic materials is introduced using a measured transmission coefficient (S21) and a genetic algorithm as an inversion process at microwave frequencies. In this experiment, it has been found that the transmission method is less susceptible with the measurement errors than that of the reflection method and the genetic algorithm can be efficiently used as a search technique. The suggested technique is validated with known and unknown conductor-loaded lossy materials and the conductor-loaded PCB at X-band.

  • Disseminating broadcast information stably and reliably in IEEE 802.11-like CSMA wireless networks requires that a source should seek collision-free transmission to multiple receivers and keep track of the reception state of the multiple receivers. We propose a simple yet efficient feedback scheme for stable reliable broadcast in wireless networks, called 2-polling feedback, where the state of two receivers are checked by a source before its broadcast transmission attempt We present a performance analysis of the class of reliable broadcast feedback schemes in terms of two performance metrics (packet transmission delay and packet stable time). The analysis results show that the proposed 2-polling feedback scheme outperforms the current existing classes of feedback schemes in the literature, i.e., all-polling feedback and 1-polling feedback. The 2-polling feedback scheme has lower asymptotic complexity than the all-polling feedback, and has the same asymptotic complexity as the 1-polling feedback but exhibits almost 50 % reduction in packet stable time.
