The human effort to make personal privacy and safety from outer environment has brought the improvement of security system through the technological development. Especially as a apartment dwelling and lifestyle is general, the role and function of door lock system is more important than ever. The research for user-centered approach and design on the door lock system should be implemented under the circumstances. This study has focused on the development of making safety as well as easy interface to design door lock system. The price also is competitive as compared with other door lock products. The goal of this study is to propose the alternatives not only to develop door lock design but also to search the innovative way of locking system design.

After that Internet was introduced to Korea, Web page has developed from text centered to graphic-centered at its fist stage. At the present, it is improving to a design for users. Furthermore, with the acceleration of Information super-highway construction and generalization of basic technology for multi-media, the educational environment has transformed to demander-focused and internet basis service which transcends time and space. Consequently, the educational structure is converting from instructors unilateral lead to student-centered. Additionally, the common usage and digitalization of information have an effect on progress of education quality and cost saving. Although there are plenty of educational web pages on internet, we can notice that many of them are inconvenient for users to put into practice. The reason is that many experts overlook the fundamental which is the basic skill for design and understanding of Web must be accompanied with Web design. Therefore, this thesis will find out the points users should consider for use of Web page and realize the educational web page, reflected for VRML training.

As augmented reality technology becomes more common and prevelant, marker-based AR contents are applied in various ways. However AR contents are still hardly utilized due to the low recognition rate of marker images. In order to increase the recognition rate of AR marker images, this paper experiment and analyzed how much the recognition rate of markers could be improved when image correction and design changes was applied. The experimental result shows that the image correction task could significantly improve the number of image characteristics and the recognition grade if the image was modified in a way its saturation value is increased. Moreover, the recognition rate was improved even more when regular pattern design was added to the original marker image. In conclusion, it was possible to make the marker well recognized through proper correction of the image and additional process of pattern design in the process of producing the marker image.

Space truss is a rational system which forming large span in spatial structure and the steel tube is used well as a structure member in truss system. This study includes coupon test and Stub-column compression test on the structural steel tube. The compression test of Stub-column was performed to characterize and quantify the material characteristic and strength of column. In this study, we also researched the matter of compatibility, in which we compared the experiment formula and the abstract formula by the application of the LSD standard formula, SSRC and ECCS multiple column curve.

It is important to inherit and develop the unique cultural characteristics of each country and region in the trend of globalization. The traditional lighting fixtures in China are the main artifacts that can be used to extract the cultural aesthetics and practicality of the people, and are a major relic of the people's cultural sensitivities and practicalities. The purpose of this study is to understand the background of the time and the meaning of national culture through the lighting equipment of the most revived Tang Dynasty in Chinese history. The purpose of this paper is to examine the development trend of lighting equipment in the Tang Dynasty through the recognition of the social background, religious thought, cultural characteristics, and characteristics of lighting fixtures in the Tang Dynasty. In this paper, we analyzed seven factors (function, molding, fuel, usage space, usage method, religious thought, and living environment) of the Tang dynasty lighting fixtures through multiple factor analysis method. In addition, the Tang Dynasty period lighting fixtures had four trends: "popularization of lighting, universal simplification of molding, diversification of use, and spread of Buddhist influence." This tendency has a meaning to provide a new motive for modern lighting design in the context of cultural uniqueness and perspectives.

A new urban paradigm that moves from a vehicle-centric to pedestrian-centric culture should be considered to improve the quality of the pedestrian environments for women, children, senior citizens, and disabled persons as well as to promote community unification by providing general movement rights to everyone. This study was implemented to provide decent alternatives to improve street spaces. The street spaces around the Commercial and Residential Area No.1 located in the Administrative-Centered City, Sejong Special Autonomic City, were selected to analyze and define the status of the walkways and the street spaces. Satellite imagery and numerical maps were used to collect geographic data. Practical and actual surveys for the selected sites were performed to analyze the street status and the pedestrian status. Based on the all collected data, analysis results, and literature reviews, the questionnaire was made, and 315 inquiries qualified for analysis. The physical status of all four study sites was the highest level, Grade A, and green open spaces were relatively sufficient. As a result, the factors obtained from the factor analysis have an impact on the satisfaction of the pedestrian streets in the commercial area. The factors are as followed Design > Convenience > Roadside trees and rest areas > Safety > Safety protective facilities > Transportation and information facilities > Continuity > Basic state of road surfaces > Comfortability, and in the residential area: Transportation and information facilities > Basic state of road surfaces > Comfort > Convenience > Continuity > Design > Illumination and crime prevention facilities > Safety > Roadside trees and rest areas.

CIGS 박막 태양전지는 저가 기판의 사용, 원소재 소비가 적은 박막 증착, 연속공정 적용 등으로 인해 결정질 실리콘 태양전지에 비해 제조단가가 낮다. 변환효율의 경우 실험실 수준에서 최고 20%의 효율이 보고되고 있어 다결정 실리콘 태양전지와 견줄 만하다. 따라서 CIGS 박막 태양전지는 제조단가와 효율 면에서 매우 우수한 경쟁력을 가진 태양전지로 인식되고 있다. 일반적으로 CIGS 박막 태양전지는 Substrate/Mo전극/CIGS 광흡수층/CdS 버퍼층/ZnO 투명전극의 기본 구조를 가지고 있으며 다양한 공정과 디자인을 적용하여 제품이 생산되고 있다. 다양한 소재와 공정들 가운데에서 유리 소재를 기판으로 사용하면서 진공증발이나 스퍼터링과 같은 Physical Vapour Deposition(PVD)을 적용하여 CIGS 광흡수층을 제조하는 기술이 가장 보편적으로 적용되고 있다. 즉 상용화에 가장 근접해 있는 기술이라고 할 수 있으며 현재는 대량생산체제 구축을 위한 기술 개발이 진행되고 있다. 또한 종래의 기판소재와 광흡수층 제조 공정의 단점을 극복하기 위한 기술들도 개발되고 있다. 특히 유리 기판 소재를 금속이나 폴리머 소재를 대체하는 기술, PVD 공정이 아닌 비진공 공정을 적용하여 CIGS 광흡수층을 제조하는 기술 등은 응용성과 제조 단가 측면에서의 파급력이 크다고 할 수 있다. 본 발표에서는 저가 고효율 CIGS 박막 태양전지 개발을 위한 이슈들을 정리하고, 이를 해결하기 위한 국내외의 연구 개발 동향을 살펴보고자 한다. 또한 이를 바탕으로 하여 CIGS 박막 태양전지의 발전방향에 대해서 전망하고자 한다.

Western wedding ceremony is generalized and it has been focused on bride's wedding dress and jewelry design as coming in western culture in Korea. Especially, metal design has developed a lot as enlarging the scale of jewelry market but study of gem cutting design is insufficient really. To meet demands of consumers of the 21th century we try fancy not standardizing style gems by using new faceting technique to maximize brilliance as wedding jewelry. In this thesis, we use popular and moderate priced synthetic cubic zirconia(CZ) which is able to alternate expensive diamond and natural gems to make easy approach of consumer as main gem material of wedding jewelry. And we develop various gem cutting design that is used synthetic cubic zirconia(CZ). We will contribute to development of new wedding jewelry design proposing various gems cutting style fitted for gem setting technique of wedding jewelry.

본 논문에서는 상용화된 이 기종 CAD/CAM 시스템간의 CAD 데이타 교환기능을 가지는 IGES Translator 시스템의 구조를 제안한다. 제품생산의 여러 단계에서 CAD/CAM의 사용이 보편화되어감에 따라 상용 CAD/CAM 시스템들은 응용분야에 맞는 특수한 도구로 사용되는 경향이 생겨났다. 예를 들어, ALIAS는 주로 스타일링 디자인에, I-DEAS와 PRO/ENGINEER는 엔지니어링 디자인에, EUCLID는 금형 디자인에, 그리고 OMEGA와 Z-MASTER는 NC 공구경로생성에 주로 사용되고 있다. CAD 데이타 교환을 위해 제안된 중립파일형식(Neutral File Format)중에서, IGES(Initial Graphics Exchange Specification)는 대부분의 상용 CAD/CAM 시스템에서 지원을 하고 있으며 가장 널리 쓰이는 파일형식이다. 그런데, IGES를 통한 CAD 데이타 교환은 다음과 같은 문제점들을 가지고 있다. 즉, patch의 사라짐, 경계곡선의 왜곡, patch의 overlap 또는 gap, trimming error, 곡면각의 꺾임각도 등이 그것이다. 이 논문의 목적은 이러한 문제점들을 해결할 수 있는 범용 IGES Translator를 개발하는데 있다. 이 논문의 주요한 기여 내용은 다음과 같다. 1) 주요 상용 CAD/CAM 시스템의 IGES Interface 기능의 비교 분석, 2) 주요 상용 IGES Translator의 기능 분석, 3) 사용자의 기능적 요구사항의 분석, 4) 사용자 관점 및 시스템 관점에서의 IGES Translator의 구조 제안, 5) Prototype IGES Translator의 개발 및 테스트 결과 제시.

From the middle of 1970s were founded new basis for the development of craft through the co-operation of the civilians and the authorities. First, Korean Culture and Art Foundation founded in 1973 held the 'Invitation Exhibition for the Craft Artists All over the Country' in 1974 and 1975 and The National Museum of Modern Art held the 'Exhibition of Modern Korean Handicraft Art' in 1975. Second, the policy emphasizing the export and tourism provided the basis for the development of design for export goods and souvenirs of tour. H\therefore the exhibitions of such goods were held by many organizations. ] In 1970s departments of craft and design were newly established in the universities so that the third generation of Korean craft was on the rise and their groups began to hold exhibitions in commercial galleries. Reflecting on such circumstances, 1970s was the period of blossom for Korean craft while 1960s was a sprouting season.
