A Study on the Assistive Technology Service Operation System in Japan (일본의 보조기구 서비스 운영체계에 관한 연구 -장해자자립지원법(障害者自立支援法)에 따른 보조기구 서비스 운영 체계를 중심으로-)

  • The present study aims to examine the assistive technology service operation system[ATSOS] of the support system for independent living[SSIL] which was introduced after the enactment of the Law of Assisting the Independence for Persons with Disabilities[LAIPD] and to discuss its implications in the development of the assistive technology service delivery system[ATSDS] and the related measures for promoting the assistive technology industry in Korea. For this purpose, the literature review and the field study were employed. The research findings showed that the Japanese SSIL, which adopted the user payment system as measures to establish the sustainable ATSOS, arranged the consumer participation structure through substantial cooperation among related government departments. The result of this study indicates the need to secure the consumer's right to choose in a comprehensive utilization process of assistive technology services as for the establishment of the ATSDS in Korea. Furthermore, the arrangements for practical cooperative strategies among related government departments are encouraged.

Evaluation of the Usefulness of the Aid Table to Prevent Patient Fall Risk in the ERCP Operation (ERCP 검사 시 환자 낙상방지 테이블 보조기구사용의 유용성 평가)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate usefulness of aid table in ERCP operation. Fifteen patients (mean age: $76.0{\pm}11.4$) and Six Staffs are took part in the questionnaire survey. We evaluated usefulness of aid table as follows: comfortableness, psychological stability, satisfaction from extreme satisfaction as 1 point to extreme satisfaction as 5 point by questionnaire. In the results of comfortableness, the patients reported uncomfortable as $1.7{\pm}0.5$ point at ERCP operation without aid table but they are reported comfortable at using aid table as $4.4{\pm}0.5$ point (p-value${\leq}0.000$). In the psychological stability, the patients have satisfaction ($4.8{\pm}0.4$ point) for aid table. In the addition, the patients felt satisfaction ($4.9{\pm}0.3$ point) for aid table. These results are considered that to use of aid table will give a useful to ERCP operation.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explore ways to utilize assistive technology in the era of the fourth industrial revolution. Method: Through the review of the literature on the fourth industrial revolution, the researchers established the concepts of major core technologies, educational utilization of major core technologies, problems and alternatives in utilizing assistive technology. Based on this, the study examined the concepts of big data and artificial intelligence corresponding to core technology, and examined the built-in learning analytics, educational data mining function, and artificial intelligence of assistive technology devices. Results & Conclusion: The results of the study were as follows. First, by providing learning analytics and educational data mining for assistive technology devices, the assistive technology devices itself should be able to collect and analyze various information about the technological needs of the special education subjects, basic information and the characteristics of the learner, and the environment of the learner. Second, through the artificial intelligence of the assistive technology device itself, the special teachers should be able to participate in the overall process from the information acquisition of the assistive technology device and suggest the utilization of the expert system considering the reality.

An Analysis of the Intellectual Structure of Assistive Technology Journal Using Co-Word Analysis (동시출현단어 분석을 이용한 보조공학 저널의 지적구조 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to present the intellectual structure of Assistive Technology Journal using co-word analysis of keywords. The articles of Assistive Technology Journal were collected from Web of Science citation database. 255 articles during the period from 2003 to 2015 were selected for the analysis. And 1,359 author keywords were extracted from the articles. In order to analyze the intellectual structure of Assistive Technology Journal, clustering analysis was conducted and 5 clusters were determined. Next, 5 clusters are presented in the map of multidimensional scaling. The results of this study are expected to assist in exploring the future directions of the researches on assistive technology.

  • In this paper, we present a neural network identification and a control of highly complicated nonlinear left ventricular assist device(LVAD) system with a pneumatically driven mock circulation system. Generally, the LVAD system needs to compensate for nonlinearities. It is necessary to apply high performance control techniques. Fortunately, the neural network can be applied to control of a nonlinear dynamic system by learning capability. In this study, we identify the LVAD system with neural network identification(NNI). Once the NNI has learned the dynamic model of the LVAD system, the other network, called neural network controller(NNC), is designed for a control of the LVAD system. The ability and effectiveness of identifying and controlling the LVAD system using the proposed algorithm will be demonstrated by computer simulation.

  • The auxiliary power supply for satellite should make the power safe and support it for subsystems during its operational lifetime. Several contstraints should be required to get high reliability. In this paper, the auxiliary power supply was satisifed and designed to be satisified with some contstraints. Control circuits for the auxiliary power supply used majority voter circuits to remove the single point failure. To verify majority voter circuits, proto-type auxiliary power supply was manufactured and tested.

  • In this study, we implement a YOLO driving assistance system using a model car. The YOLO is an object detection and recognition algorithm using deep running which is becoming an issue recently. The system alerts the lane departure by applying the image processing technology to the image acquired through the camera, recognizes the objects using the YOLO, and performs various functions according to the type of the object and the distance between the vehicle. the YOLO, which is superior to the existing object detection and recognition algorithm, improves the performance of the driving assist system without additional equipment. The driving assist system using the YOLO will ensure the safety of the driver with low cost.

  • This study is about current operating system and development process of remote island route. 14 companies are providing safe transportation service for remote island residents with total 30 boots on 27 routes. Each route transit analysis shows that the number of passenger tends to increase every year. In order to enhance customer satisfaction, more constructive improvement is demanded, such as implementing operation evaluation on each charter service provider.1he result obtained from this study is to be utilized as basic document for remote island route development process in semi-long run basis.

Soil flushing of Pesticide-Contaminated Soil (Soil flushing 기법을 이용한 농약 오염토양 정화)

  • 본 연구에서는 Sorfactant/Cosolvent 혼합용액을 적용한 Soil flushing 기법에 의해 농약(Endosulfan(6,7,8,9,10,10-Hexachlor-1,5,5a,6,9,9a-hexahydro-6,9-methane-2,3,4benzo (e)dioxathiepin-3-oxide))으로 오염된 토양의 정화효율을 알아보았으며, 회분식 및 연속식 실험을 통하여 최적의 운전조건을 도출하고자 하였다. 세척용액의 적정 사용조건을 알아보기 위한 회분식 실험은 Jar tester를 사용하여 진탕비 (토양 중량 : 세척용액 부피), Surfactant(SDS + POE$_{5}$, POE$_{9}$ + POE$_{14}$, POE$_{5}$ + POE$_{14}$, POE$_{14}$)와 보조용매(water, ethanol, methanol, ethanol+methanol)의 혼합비 및 농도 조건을 변화시켜가며 토양세척을 수행하였다. 세척용액은 보조용매에 Surfactant의 농도를 0.5%, 1%로 용해하여 적용하였다. 연속식 실험은 회분식 실험에서 얻어진 최적 세척용액 사용조건 즉, 계면활성제 SDS + POE$_{5}$(1:1, 용액농도 1%), 보조용매 ethanol을 일정 비율로 혼합한 세척용액을 오염된 토양이 충진된 유리칼럼에 여러 유량조건에서 1 - 20 pore volume까지 통과시켜 각 통과된 pore volume에서의 토양세척 효율을 알아보았다. 본 실험조건에서 얻어진 세척용액의 최적 통과 속도는 0.31 ㎤$cm^{-2}$$min^{-1}$ 이었으며, 세척온도의 증가에 따른 세척효율의 향상은 2$0^{\circ}C$이상에서 크게 둔화되었다. 또한 보조용매의 사용량을 줄이기 위해 에탄올을 물로 1:3까지 희석한 결과 세척효율에 큰 영향이 없음을 알 수 있었다.

  • PWR-GALE Code is a computerized mathematical model for calculating the releases of radioactive material in gaseous and liquid effluents from PWRs. In PWR-GALE Code, Auxiliary building iodine removal efficiency, one of the code input data, did not reflect adequately the new design of KSNP which has two auxiliary buildings(PAB and SAB). In this study, we developed a revised method how to correct iodine removal efficiency in KSNP. And newly proposed methodology through case study using Ul-Jin 5, 6 design data was verified.
